컬러 어피어런스 모델의 구조 및 특성 (The Structure and Feature of Color Appearance Models)

  • 컬러 디스플레이의 색재현 특성을 좋게 하는 것은 전세계 소비자들의 공통된 바램이다. 이를 위해서, 컬러 재현 장치에서 장치 독립적인 컬러 이미징 기술의 개발이 필요하다. 이를 뒷받침하는 기술은 컬러 어피어런스 모델(color appearance models)을 이용한 컬러의 재현능력 향상인 것이다. 따라서, 본 고에서는 컬러 어피어런스 모델의 최신 기술 동향, 색순응 변환에 있어서의 최신 기술 및 컬러의 차이를 정확히 나타내는 색오차식의 최신 기술을 소개하고자 한다.

  • The Andong batholith is a Jurassic plutonic complex intruding metamorphic rocks of the RRyeongnam massif that extends from NE to SW in the southern Korean Peninsula. Detailed mapping and petrographic studies show that the batholith exhibits five sparate plutons: Andong, Dosan, Pungsan, Imha, and Nokjeon. The oldest Andong pluton among them exhibits reverse zoning. This feature contrasts with typical modal and chemical zoning trends in calc-alkaline plutons in which higher color index and more mafic rocks in the outer rim surround lower color index felsic rocks in the interior. 현대 패션에 나타난 네온컬러의 특성 (Characteristics of Neon Color in Modern Fashion)

  • The purpose of this study is to set up the theoretical foundation for neon colors by recognizing them as important elements of sensitive design and by comprehending their existence as a color fashion responsive to psychological and social background. As the subject of the present the researcher has selected important oversea collections of these five years during which neon colors have fully emerged as popular colors of fashion. The procedure of research was to examine the concept and traits of colors and investigate the utility of neon colors in various fields. The important facts which are acquired from the present study are as follows. First, the analysis of frequency has found out the following color arrangements: neon color only-8.6%(35), neon color+colorless-58.3%(236), neon color+ colored -14.8%(60),neon color+colorless+colored-18.3%(74), and others. The case of neon color used as monochromatic (color) was distinguished into two: single neon color all through and the same color used differently. Color arrangements were divided into analogous arrangement, separation arrangement, dominant arrangement, multi-color arrangement, and accent arrangement. Second, the internal significance of neon colors expressed in fashion can be interpreted into three: emphasis, optical Illusion, and amusing. This study has attempted to raised up the aesthetic value of various color expression and to expand fashion image by interpreting the trends of color fashion together with the traits and aesthetic meaning of color in fashion. The future study intends to expand the expression area of fashion design and to interpret molding beauty through the image of color arrangement and through fashion style utilizing neon colors.

한복 배색에 관한 연구 - 2005~2010년 치마, 저고리를 중심으로 - (Study on Color Coordination of Hanbok - Focusing on Chima, Jegori in 2005~2010 -)

  • Modern Hanbok uses newly different color coordination based on traditional color coordination and symbolic meaning. Thus, this study would investigate the aspects of color coordination and symbolic meaning and present the characteristics of Hanbok as the data of corresponding period in the modern times. In order to investigate recent trend of preferred colors and color coordination of Hanbok, this study focused on the period of 2005~2010. When analyzing colors of Jegori(jacket), Wh, Y, B, YG, P and Gy series are shown in order. For trends for color of Chima(skirt), Pk, R, P, Gy and Bk series are shown in order. When you look into the color coordination of skirt and jacket on whole, color coordination of Pk-Wh represents the highest frequency. Color coordinations of Pk-Y, Pk-B, R-Y, R-G and Pk-G are followed in order. Color coordinations of R-YG, Bk-Wh, O-Y, P-Wh, Pk-YG, Gy-Y, R-Wh series and Gy-Wh are followed in order. When looking into characteristics of overall color coordination of Hanbok, it was shown that there were many opportunities to meet a variety of culture and various colors had emerged depending on individual taste and skin color in the modern times within the framework of basic colors of woman's 'Nokeuihongsang'(Green upper garment and red skirt) R-G, Y series, which are traditionally inherited. In addition, unlike existing traditional color coordination of five elements in the past, P, Gy and Bk series of color appeared in the skirt and Jacket. It could be affected by fashionable drama and films at that time and newly attempted colors ahead of fashion were reflected on the magazine. Therefore, it implied that it naturally gave new awareness of colors to the general public and the width of selection of colors became diverse.

  • Recent trends show an increased usage of 'colored concrete', a inorganic pigmented concrete mix, especially in smalll to large scale buildings. However, due to lack of varieties, current usage of colored concrete is limited to the one or two simple color of the time in construction work. so, this study is to investigate the properties of concrete adding temperature reactive pigment. The results of the experiment, the basic material characteristics of concrete such as of compressive strength and slump is affected by the amount rate of adding the temperature reactive pigment. And, it showed the excellent color expression and changing with temperature reactive pigment.

  • The main objective of this research was to understand the characteristics of identical color coordination through the analysis of modern female fashion color coordination as they appear in the 'Collections'. Data collection of 2026 was done through review of '$pr\hat{e}t-\grave{a}$-porter Collections' of four cities; Milan, London, New York, Paris. Lastly, statistical analysis of frequency and $X^2$-test and also qualitative interpretation of identical color coordination characteristics were completed. The main findings were; The color coordination of modern women's fashion produces a unified theme, or monochromatic harmony, through the use and coordination of identical colors. The clear contrast of tones portrays a strong image especially in achromatic color coordination, and through the use of texture variation, monochromatic color coordination becomes even more compelling. The tone variation, observed most often in monochromatic color coordination was the black and white contrast, which enhances the simplicity and clarity. Within chromatic color combinations, tone on tone color coordination was achieved by varying brightness. Furthermore, the observation of Faux Camaeu indicates that the coordination of different textures is used often in identical color coordination. While achromatic colors can lead to a hard and rough feeling, it also is compensated through the use of varying textures. In addition, adding variety of textures can add subtle interests to the simplicity of white. Lastly, in all four collections, the chromatic identical color coordination was found more frequently than the achromatic. In Paris, N.Y. & London, the chromatic identical coordination was used more often than chromatic. Milan showed most use of achromatic coordination. The use of the tones showed similar trends in all four collections, with contrasting tone being used most often, followed by similar and identical tones.

  • 본 연구는 경관의 색채를 시간의 개념을 포함하는 연속적 지각의 시퀀스로 보고, 그 흐름과 데이터를 정량적으로 분석하는 기법과 그것을 활용하여 개방성에 따른 도시색채 변화경향을 연구한 것이다. 이는 매우 경험자의 체험에 근접한 리듬으로 대구시 도시철도 3호선인 모노레일 속에서 바라다보는 도시의 색채 시퀀스를 좌우 양쪽에서 동영상을 촬영하여 2초 간격의 프레임에서 대표색 데이터와 시각량을 산출하여 색상, 명도, 채도, 고채도 분포로 시퀀스 데이터를 분석하는 기법들을 도출하였다. 공간의 개방성, 밝기 정도, 선명도 정도, 고채도 분포와 코드, 시각량의 우위, 지배적 노출인자, 한난색의 이미지, 각 세분별 시퀀스 리듬의 다이나믹 정도를 비교 분석할 수 있는 기법을 도출하였으며, 도출된 시퀀스 데이터 중 하늘의 시각량으로 공간 개방도를 결정하고, 개방도에 따른 도시 색채의 경향을 회귀분석하였다. 도시색채는 개방도가 높아질수록 명도는 낮아지고, 채도는 미세하게 증가하였으며, 한색계열이 현저하게 증가하였다. 이는 또한 린치의 공간 위요비례와도 매우 관계가 깊었으며, 도시 색채변화경향을 실제 경관을 통해 더 구체적으로 파악할 수 있었다.

  • The study investigated trends in wall-covering displays in interior design stores. Although studies reported design trends at well-known exhibitions overseas such as Heimtextil and Maison objet, many different cases present actual realistic design flows. This study analyzes the actual market flow rather than design as an exhibition concept, and presents the interior CMF trends in 2019. The CMF design of wall-covering displayed in New York D&D Building in 2019 can be summarized as follows: W was the most frequently seen show-window, but like R, which is a strong color, it is also used to convey surrealistic images. The store entrance was designed to attract consumers' attention inside, and was constructed to reflect the actual trend. In the 2019 New York market, the wall-covering of Gray and YR were displayed through the shop entrance to suggest substantial sales. In addition, the demand for gold metallic wall-covering is significant as gold was strong in many forms. This study represents a valuable resource to identify trends in wall-covering from 2017 to 2019 compared with previous studies. This study represents a valuable foundation for a wide range of topics related to the use of wall-covering for interior decoration.

  • The purpose of this study was to arrange the korean women's hair styles of the beginning of 21st century and make hair style image making chart to use personal image making consulting data through analyze actress hair styles of broadcasting TV drama. To accomplish this purposes, picked up the two most popular dramas per each broadcasting stations, KBS1, KBS2, MBC, SBS, in february 2004. and analyzed and arranged hair styles of actress and at the last made the hair style image making chart. The results of the research are as belows. 1. Hair trends of february 2004. were Modern Sophisticated, Active and Romantic. 2. The results of three classifications of hair style trends, form, color, accessory, were as belows. 1) Form : Layer, left part, straight, low wave, long hair, no volme, bang were in vogue. Generally, Modern Sophisticated, Active, Romantic feeling were in vogue. 2) Color : Black, brown, two tone color were in vogue. Generally Modern Sophisticated, Romantic, Active feeling were in vogue. 3) Accessory : Hair bands & pins were in vogue. Generally these gave the Modern, Active feeling. 3.   • The purpose of this study is to examine the color characteristics of menswear in different cities, focusing on the Paris, Milan, New York, Tokyo, and London collections. To answer the research question, the sampled colors were classified according to their hues and tones for frequency analysis and cross-analysis. The results are as follows: 'Red', which appeared frequently in the S/S and F/W seasons, was a core color in menswear design, and regardless of the season, 'blackish tones' were most commonly used. The cross-analysis uncovered a significant difference in the trends of hues in the F/W season between the cities. The colors that were more frequently used among the cities were as follows: 'blue-green' in the Paris collection, 'blue' and 'purple' in the Milan collection, 'purple' and 'purple-blue' in the London collection, 'yellow' in the New York collection, and 'red' and 'green' in the Tokyo collection. This study illustrates the significance of the F/W season's use of colors in menswear design and discovered through analysis that hues, rather than tones, were used to express individuality. These results are expected to be used as basic data for the analysis of menswear design trends.
