The purpose of this study is to present objective basic data for environmental design by the quantitative analysis of visual quality emboded in physical environment. For this, as for the front garden of high schools, the spatial image was measured by the S.D. Scale Method, Factor Analysis was proceeded by the principal component analysis and the visual preference was investigated by the Paired Comparision Method. The scale values of plain and unpleasant road surface and external appearance of buildings, which are related to emotions of simpleness fell from straightness and stability, were found to be high. But, except for the road surface of Kyunggi High School, scale values of variables explaining the variation of the quality of materials, level of floor and rythm were generally low. For all green spaces, scale values of variables explaining the degree of pleasantness was found to be generally high. And, those explaining tidiness and characteristics of green spaces were not in the same tendency. But, the green spaces of Youngdong High school can be considered to the space with plenty of visual absorption uniqueness were high. As for the correlation between variables, variables for green spaces(12 and 26) and those for overall view of front garden( 1 and 4) revealed high positive correlation. Also, "order - disorder" and "convenient- incovenient" included in road surface variable can be regarded to have the same meaning since the correlation coefficient between them is very high, 0.7045. Image variables including road surface, external appearance of buildings, green spaces and overall view of front garden showed 91.21~61.08% of total variance. Thus, the remains can be considered to be the error valiance or specific variance. In Fctor I, II and III, main components explaining the road surface image of front gardens are order, hardness, texture, color, gradient and rythm. As for the external appearance of b wilding, variables of color, hardness, stability, peculiality and shape revealed high values of factor load. For all variables, communality was drastically high and ellen values and common variance were found to be very high in Factor I. As for the front gardens, variables explaining volume and peculiarity were found to be the main components of Factor I. In Factor II and III, variables of factor load were tidiness, pleasantness.

애니메이션은 계몽 형태의 대중예술로서 다양한 연령대에게 쉽게 다가가 그들이 외면하는 사회문제를 재고찰하게 한다. 따라서 본 논문은 애니메이션 <윌러비 가족>의 캐릭터 설정과 조형의 상징성이 사회 의제의 인식 제고 방안으로써 작용하는지 분석했다. 현대의 심각한 문제로 대두되고 있는 아동학대와 가족 형태의 수용 필요성에 대한 실태를 파악했으며, 애니메이션의 색채와 조형성은 관객의 심리적 감동과 변화를 유도한다는 선행 연구를 살펴봤다. 작품은 아동학대 유형 중 정서적 학대와 방임을 캐릭터로 보여주며, 가족의 형태를 세분화했다. 조화로운 색채의 무지개는 다양한 가족 구성원을 상징했으며, 각진 형태와 차가운 푸른색의 조형적 특징으로 이루어진 고아국 요원은 무관심한 이웃과 함께 현대의 원칙주의적인 2차 가해자로 표현하여 관객의 인식변화를 촉구한다. 본 논문은 복지사회 건설과 지원체계에 앞서 국민적 인식 제고가 필수인 시점에 사회 의제를 작품으로 표현하여 관객의 문제 인식을 깨우칠 수 있는 애니메이션의 가치를 제시하고 있다.

For the useful method capable of modern expression on traditional residence architecture, a study was performed on the methodological establishment and possibility of typological method could be examinated to interior design process by typological method. First of all, through the establishment verbal of our Korean traditional architecture and further investigation of environmental and cultural idealogical facts, it could be extracted from natural instinct, duality, continuance, flexibility and transitiov. In second process, based on these results, it could be framed and described the individual typological language and, for the sake of drawing for visual and spatial typology, it was made by sketch in terms and view of possibile guidance of prototype, transforming and application method. from these results of investigated sketches, it cold be used for criteria of application method as the parts of visual and spatial typological elements to have an applicable expression of it/s traditionality. Based on above facts, for the subjects of spatial system, form & shape system, circulation system, order system, decoration system, color & material system in interior design fields, we cold propose the practical possibility through the consideration of application method for built-in meaning that could be adaptable for the interior design practices. These facts were extracted from the based on visual & spatial typology, as above mentiov. Also, through preparing and suggesting the criteria of evaluation and measurement of design quality , we could propose the applicable methodology for further & basically Korean traditional embodiment.

This study aims to collect Minhwa, or folk painting, particularly the Lotus Flower Painting, to analyze its formative characteristics and related story, and to develop cultural fashion products by utilizing Korean traditional culture and modern flavor based on the results. Lotus flowers grow from mud, but are unstained, and they bloom beautiful flowers. Thus, they symbolize Gunja, a true gentleman who is very learned and proper in behavior. In Buddhism, lotus flowers are divine flowers that have the meaning of the creation of life and the eternal cycle of birth, death and rebirth. Lotus flowers also represent the love between man and woman as well as conjugal harmony and love. Lotus flower painting includes the paintings of the lotus flower alone as well as the paintings of the lotus flower with ducks, white heron, kingfisher, fish, butterfly, crab, or tortoise. Colors that are mostly used in lotus flower paintings is the compatible combination of red and blue (green). Based on these findings, fashion products such as bag accessories, sitting cushions, and kitchen utensils are developed using various designs such as realistically drawn lotus flower, schematized lotus flower, the lotus flower alone, or the lotus flower with kingfisher, crab, or dragonfly, that emphasizing the compatible color combination of red and blue.

Bletilla striata is an important herb that is used as a paste for texture processing, an ingredient in incense and an additive for preserving calligraphic works and paintings. This study evaluated Bletilla striata, which has been used to preserve and manage the textiles and paper. In particular, this study examined the viscosity of a paste made from Bletilla striata, as well as the mechanical characteristics and antibiotic properties of the fabrics treated with the herb. In terms of viscosity, Bletilla striata paste was less sticky than wheat flour paste, meaning that the former can be applied more evenly to sized fabrics. In addition, Bletilla striata paste has high transparence, ensuring little color difference between the fabrics treated and not treated with the paste. Regarding the mechanical characteristics of the fabrics processed using the KES-FB System, the sized fabrics treated with Bletilla striata paste showed a higher flexibility and recovery rate and than those treated with the wheat flour paste, indicating that the former paste can be more effective in making fabrics maintain their original form and shape. Finally, silk fabrics treated with Bletilla striata showed very high antibiosis. This suggests that the paste can be used to develop antibiotic substances that can preserve textiles.

Kinect sensor has two output data which are produced from red green blue (RGB) sensor and depth sensor, it is called color image and depth map, respectively. Although this device's prices are cheapest than the other devices for three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction, we need extra work for reconstruct a smooth 3D data and also have semantic meaning. It happened because the depth map, which has been produced from depth sensor usually have a coarse and empty value. Consequently, it can be make artifact and holes on the surface, when we reconstruct it to 3D directly. In this paper, we present a method for solving this problem by using implicit surface representation. The key idea for represent implicit surface is by using radial basis function (RBF) and to avoid the trivial solution that the implicit function is zero everywhere, we need to defined on-surface point and off-surface point. Based on our simulation results using captured face as an input, we can produce smooth 3D face and fill the holes on the 3D face surface, since RBF is good for interpolation and holes filling. Modified anisotropic diffusion is used to produced smoothed surface.

영화에서 사용된 색채는 캐릭터가 미처 대사를 통해 다 전달할 수 없는 내면의 깊은 감정과 심리 상태를 언어적 형식보다 더욱 세밀하고 직접적으로 표현해주기도 하고 혹은 캐릭터간의 관계나 감정 상태를 고스란히 드러내 주어 관객들로 하여금 영화 속에 더욱 몰입되어 동질감을 가질 수 있게 도와주는 역할을 하기도 한다. 필자가 캐릭터를 드러내는 내러티브 도구로써의 색채 활용 연구를 위해 선택한 영화는 2003년 영국 영화 <더 마더 the mother>이다. 이 영화를 선택한 이유는 이 영화가 가지는 다소 빈약한 내러티브적 스토리텔링storytelling을 비주얼적인 색채와 이미지적 도상 활용으로 관객들에게 충분하게 이미지텔링 imagetelling하고 있기 때문이고, 이 이미지텔링은 백 마디의 언어적 전달 보다 한 번의 시지각적인 자극이 영화에서 더욱 중요하고 효과적이라는 사실을 전달해주고 있기 때문이다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the styles of street fashion in youth sub-culture which has the leading power of 1990's Korean fashion flow. This topic has been explored in documentary studies about the youth sub-culture and the background of street fashion. Then, it also continued to classify street fashion styles in order to grasp the meaning as a young fashion. The results of this study are as follows. Street fashio of Korean youth are composed of four styles. ; The first is a hip-hop style. The hip-hop of Korea is started by 'Taiji Boys' and their representative apperances are the big-baggy pants, the reversed cap, the thrown backpack. The second is a reggae style. It is formed by the singer 'Kim Gun Mo'. It features the primary color and the use of ethnic fabrics. The third is a kitch style. The kitch is definitely represented by the old, the childish and the satire appearances. It came up with the rock band 'pipiband'. The forth is a sporty style. It comes from 'basketball' and 'skateboarding' which the young people prefer. Its designs are applied from the back-number of players, the names of the teams, the stripes of active-feeling. Based on this study, I designed cloths with 3 concepts to present a new design direction of Street Fashion. Work 1, 「JOY-RIDE」 represented the freedom and the release which are shown by pop music and dance. Work 2, 「GAMMA ENERGY」 represented the dynamic energy through sports games. Work 3, 「AROUND THE CORNER」 represented the form of street including comers, walls, roads etc.

Recently, there is a trend to utilize natural dyes in many dyeing fields. In this work, the effects of benzyl alcohol in human hair dyeing with cochineal, a natural dye, was investigated. We investigated the K/S value and color value of dyed hair, water retention of dyed hair, protein release-ability of dyed hair, and wash fastness of dyed hair according to dyeing time and temperature. The shade of dyed hair was reddish. By adding benzyl alcohol in cochineal dyeing, the dyeing rate was increased and the dyeing equilibrium was established at early stage. The water retention of dyed hair was increased and the protein release-ability of dyed hair was decreased, meaning that the hair was less damaged during dyeing, The dyed hair showed a good wash fastness.

Analysis of trend by various information is systematically approached by strategy differentiating in Interior Design. At the present, trend is approached by intuitive viewpoint without systematic strategy and analysis system about interior coordination activity. And, it is not still established specific systematic architecture of the interior coordination by logical and academical approach. This Study set the goal at overall understanding about the Trend that shifting fast and offering objective data. Therefore, I approached the semiology-oriented process as the most suitable academical system on analysis of interior coordination trend. Object target of analysis was investigated to three domestic and overseas exhibitions announced from 2007 to 2008. These analysis was based on the context and text from the life style and the major determinant theme of the age of each exhibition. Also, it was arranged color, material and texture by the related expression system with topics and theme keywords. And it'll be considered as utilizing the code of specific application in interior coordination which is from the investigating about exhibition. Therefore, this study will be expected to help in meaning transmission and methodology establishment by more beneficial objective system, when designer work the interior coordination practically through the establishment of systematic viewpoint about interior coordination.
