왕벚나무 꽃잎 추출물에 대한 견직물의 염색성과 색채특성 (Dyeing Properties and Color Characteristics of Silk Fabrics Dyed with Prunus yedoensis Matsumura Flower Extract)

  • This study was carried out to identify the optimum dyeing conditions for maximum dye uptake of Prunus yedoensis Matsumura flower extract on silk fabric and to investigate hue/tone characteristics and fastness properties of the dyed fabrics. As results, the flower extract was found to contain flavonoids by FT-IR and to show yellowish shade by UV-vis spectrum. Silk fabric was optimized for maximum dye uptake to five repetitions of dyeing at $80^{\circ}C$ for 60 min with an extract concentration of 600% owf in terms of both K/S and color differences. Pre-mordanting was more effective to dye uptake than post-mordanting for all of the mordants used. Un-mordanted and pre-mordanted fabric showed YR(Yellow Red) while most of post-mordanted ones did Y(Yellow). Main tones of dyed fabrics were sf(soft) and lt(light) in the case of unmordanting or Al-mordanting whereas they were d(dull) and g(grayish) by post-mordanting with Cu, Cr, and Fe, respectively. The fastness grades to rub and dry cleaning were reasonably good for most dyeing conditions while those to light were poor. Finally dyeing condition for each hue/tone of the dyed silk with the flower extract was optimized considering fastness properties.

  • The purpose of this research is to provide the basic data for the development of make-up color application system, based of Korean's skin tone and the preference in make-up color to enhance the effectiveness of the education of beauty in universities. The research was conducted by the previous studies, the analyses of sale's rate of hue-cosmetics, the analytic experiment of color of cosmetics by using Spectrum Color Analyzer and other experimental researches. This research, based on the results of three preliminary researches, shows the result of evaluation from perceivers which has been come out from the experiment of having one model in her twenties being changed with twenty-two different conditions of make-up. Here follows the result of the research. Firstly, there was difference on perceiving images in terms of the gender of perceivers and especially male-group tend to have clearly perceived the gap between elegance-greyish purple, orange-natural, red-classic on monochrome make-up and contrast make-up. Secondly, in terms of lip-colors, salmon pink and pink was regarded positively to both female and male subjects and to male subjects, greyish purple was thought to be better on darker skin-tone and to female subjects, better on lighter skin-tone. Thirdly, on image make-up, romantic gives intelligent image regardless of skin-tone and gender, especially gives more positive looks to male subjects. Natural and classic elements were perceived more positively on darker skin-tone and had bigger perceiving gap in female subjects. Fourthly, in preference rate, male subjects normally preferred the look with make-up than female subjects did and salmon pink and pink lip color was preferred on the darker skin-tone.

일반색. 의복색 선호도와 의복색 소유도의 특성 및 차이 (The Analysis of General and Apparel Color Preference and Apparel Possession Color)

  • This study intended to provide more refined information on color preferences by systematizing the concept of the color preference(general color preference, apparel color preference) and revealing different trends in the color preference and the actual possession of apparels. We collected data from 303 females in the ages between 20 and 40 in Seoul and analyzed by paired t-test. The results were as follows: 1. The analysis on general color preference, apparel color preference, and apparel possession color revealed that the cold colors such as blue and violet marked higher, and the warm colors such as yellow and orange marked lower in general color preference. For apparel color preference, neutral and brown were among the highest and the rest of the colors were in the same trend as general color preference. Apparel possession color showed defined accordance with apparel color preference. In terms of tones, pale tone marked the highest in general color preference and was followed by vivid, dull, and dark tones in decreasing order. For apparel color preference, pastel, dul1, and dark tones were among the highest. 2. Comparison between general color preference and apparel color preference in terms of hue showed that, except for orange, every hue showed disagreement in general color preference and apparel color preference. Neutral and brown hues marked higher in apparel color preference than in general color preference where as a]1 the other hues marked higher in general color preference. Comparison between apparel color preference and apparel possession color in terms of hue revealed that in most hues, apparel possession color was lower than apparel color preference. In terms of tones, vivid and pale tones marked higher in general color preference than in apparel color preference while dull and dark tones marked higher in apparel color preference than in general color preference.

  • The purpose of present study was to examine how each clothes colors on the basis of 5YR 7/3 face color affect clothes colors images as follows : (1) what general consciousness of clothes colors in, (2) how the impression of the harmony of 5YR 7/3 face color and clothes colors is, (3) when we divide clothes colors according to the property of colors- chromatic color and achromatic color, cool color.neutral color.warm color, in tone, in color colume- if there is the difference of visual evaluation, (4) image analysis of 45 clothes colors with the view of each kind of adjectives. The result of this study is as the following: 1. As a result of the analysis of general consciousness on clothes colors, when subjects chose clothes, they most considered colors and they also considered their face colors. They would choose the color of clothes, which were becoming to their having clothes colors or their face colors when they bought clothes. 2. The impressions of coordination of 5YR 7/3 face color and clothes colors consisted of three dimensions - evaluation, activity and harmony. 3. It was known that as a result of the analysis of visual evalutional differences according to dividing the clothes colors by property of colors, there were such notable differences that they might effect the coordination images of face color and clothes colors differently. 4. After arranging 45 clothes colors on the graphs in 17 adjectives, gethering them thogether in each dimension and as the result of the analysis in the evaluation dimension, estimation of yellow, light green column were low and that of achromatic colors were high. That is, it was known that the evalution dimension was concerned with hue of the color properties. In activity dimension, there were different image according to each adjectives. 방향성 소재 디자인을 위한 향과 색의 복합 감성 연구 (A study on Compound Sensibility of Odors and Colors for Aromatic Fabric Design)

  • 본 연구는 감성이 인체의 감각기관에 의하여 감지된 외부의 자극에 대하여 인체가 느끼는 복합감정이라는 특성을 고려하여, 향이라는 후각적 감각과 색이라는 시각적 감각이 복합적으로 어떠한 감성으로 표현되는지 알아보았다. 우선 향과 색 감성을 동시에 측정할 수 있는 감성평가 척도제작을 위해 선행 연구를 통하여 향, 색, 의복 색채에 중복되는 19쌍의 형용사 어휘를 채택하였고, 예비 조사를 통하여 향 관련 어휘 1쌍을 첨부하여 총 20쌍의 감성 형용사를 양극 7점 척도로 감성평가 척도를 작성하였다. 전문가 집단인 시각디자인 전공 남녀 각 15명씩을 대상으로 개별 실험을 통해 후로랄 향, 자스민 향, 라벤더 향, 모과 향의 네 가지 향에 대하여 연상되는 색상을 I.R.I Hue&Tone 색채 표에서 선택하게 하고, 향과 선택한 색에 대한 감성평가를 실시하였다 향과 색에 대한 감성구조는 '심미성', '낭만성', '개성', '강도', '자연성'의 다섯 요인으로 구성되었다. 향 종류별 선택 색상의 빈도 분석결과 차이를 보였고, 성별의 선택색상 역시 다르게 나타났다. 향과 색에 대한 감성 척도 평균값을 구하여 감성을 기존 연구에서 밝힌 종류별 향에 대한 감성과 비교한 결과 유사하였다.

패션에 나타난 에코디자인의 색채경향 연구 (Eco-design Color Trends in Fashion)

  • The eco-design in modem fashion is mixed with a well-being trend that combines functionality and ethics with technology to suggest a new fashion style for the $21^{st}$ century. This study analyzes the colors of the eco-design in the current fashion trends and identifies the eco-friendly color images that suggest directions for eco-design. The results of this study are as follows. First, the eco-design is an ethical design concept of the ecological value. It can be classified into the functional efficiency in the multi-functionality the sustainability, the recycling capability, the trends for health and craftsmanship, according to various suggestions by eco-design related theorists. Second, the eco-colors shown in the fashion trend follow the order of YR, R, Y, N, and B, with the order of the pale, grayish, light grayish and dull tones. Third, the hue trends of eco-colors each eco-type are focused on R, YR, and Y. With regards to the tones, the functional efficiency, the multi-functional capability, and the sustainability are shown in the neutral tone, while the recycling capability is shown in the grayish tone and the trends pursuing health and craftsmanship are shown in the pale tone.

지역색 분석을 통한 환경색채디자인에 관한 연구 - 홍성군을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Environmental color design through the Analysis of Local Colors - Focused on Hongseong-gun -)

  • The purpose of this study was analyzing the features of architectural colors in Hongseong-gun and proposing environmental color design for regional identity color. According to the analysis, Hongseong's base colors are YR of low hue value and grayish tone colors. But a lot of signs and outdoor billboards mar the beauty of the environmental color. So it is more important to solve the problems as well as new environmental color design. The results are as follows; 1) Naepo Color Palette of 2009 Chungnam Public Design Master Plan would be an accepted principal for the contextual landscape image of Chungnam in macro perspective. 2) Outdoor signboards must be controlled and improved for the harmony of the buildings dominant colors. 3) Roof color would arrange R or grayish of deep tone colors those are similar balance of Hongseong base color YR, and gate color would have clear principles of the order such as chromatic or brightness contrast in housing. 4) Forming of future oriented image of Hongseong need to be considered first as to whether it is harmonious tones with existing local base colors.

  • 최근 차세대 디스플레이로 각광받고 있는 OLED는 다양한 장점들을 가지고 있다. 하지만 발광 소자간의 광효율의 불균형으로 인해 표현하고자 하는 색감이 붕괴된다. 본 논문에서는 영상처리를 이용하여 적은 자원으로 RGB 채널의 불균형문제를 해결 하고 효율이 약한 채널이 넓은 색상 표현 범위를 가질 수 있도록 하는 Adaptive Color Shifter(ACS)를 제안하였다. 제안하는 ACS를 다양한 영상에 적용하여 시뮬레이션 하고 색상 히스토그램과 CIE-1931 xyz 색 공간을 이용하여 수치적인 분석을 하였다.

셔츠와 넥타이의 동일색상 톤 조합에 따른 인상평가 (The Impression Evaluation for Tone Combination of Identical Hue of Shirt and Necktie)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the various impressions that tone-on-tone coloration of shirts and ties gives. This experiment was based on the $2{\times}4{\times}4{\times}2$ factorial design: colors(red and blue), shirt tones(vivid, light, dull, and dark); tie tones(vivid, light, dull, and dark) and perceivers' gender(male and female). The materials in the experiment developed for this study were composed of 32 upper body photographs which were color printed and 27 bi-polar adjectives, each of which was graded into seven in its degree, were used to evaluate the impression. We unified those colors of shirts and neckties, and then made shirt and necktie tone different. The subjects of this research were 192 male and 192 female college students in Gyeongnam province including Jinju City The data was analyzed by using SPSS program. Analyzing methods were one-way ANOVA and LSD test. The items of the adjectives were classified into 5 impression dimensions - potency, activity, attractiveness, visibility and tenderness. All the image by the match of shirt and tie could be possible to make various images by the color, the shirt tone and the tie tone. Blue was given more effective potent image, vivid or light tone shirt in blue was the active image. As shirt and tie had different tone, regarded as the attractive image. Vivid tone tie was evaluated the visible image, light tone shirt is the tend image.

A Color Analysis on Working Clothing in Domestic Machine and Heavy Industry

  • The objective of this research is to the enhance the color function of work clothing : to research and analyze the hue and tone of work clothing colors to be used for machinery and heavy industries in national industrial complexes, Through this research, the color using problems which related with safety workers will be revealed. For this project, total 42 sets of work suits were sampled from 12 different companies in the machinery and construction industries in the national industrial complexes of Gyeongsang Namdo Province and 16 sets of work suits currently being sold in the market. The collected work suits samples were classified according to item types and design. Color measurements were taken thus: After calibration according to ASTM D1729 specifications of standardized configuration settings to match standardized luminous source D65(Daylight 6500K) in color cabinet BOTECK SuperLight-VI, the RGB values of the work suits were calculated using PANTONE Color Cue TX. The RGB values of the colors thus derived were converted into V/C values using the Munsell Conversion 9.0.6 and analyzed with Munsell's 10-color system and PCCS. The results were presented according to Munsell's color wheel and color and brightness distributions were expressed in table form, as well as presented as a tone map. Following analysis, color hue distribution was found to be concentrated around PB, and brightness distribution toward the low end and mid range of the scale. Saturation values were distributed mostly around the low end of the scale. Following color tone analysis according to PCCS, it became apparent that colors were mainly distributed around dkg, ltg, and g, at low- and mid-brightness and low-saturation. Therefore, it may be concluded that colors used in work suits in the machinery and heavy industries are mainly cool colors, at low- and mid-brightness and low saturation. It is conjectured that such colors were applied uniformly in the workplace in order to serve certain functions, such as concealment of stains and contamination. Therefore, it follows that the utilization of colors, among other functions served by working clothings, must be taken into consideration in order to enhance safety and efficiency.
