초등학교 저학년 화장실 공간디자인 개선에 관한 연구 - 서울강서교육지원청 관할 초등학교 사례조사를 바탕으로 - (A Study on the Guideline of Toilets Design for Elementary Lower-Grade Students - Based on the Survey for Elementary Schools under Seoul Gangseo District Office of Education -)

  • Elementary school's physical environment is critical to lower grade students. Among the many physical conditions, Toilet, which belongs to health and sanitation category is very important to those who start school for the first time. The purpose of this study is for suggesting the guidelines of toilet design reflecting psychological and behavioral aspects of lower grade students. The research was executed as follows. Firstly, focused survey groups were carefully chosen. Five elementary schools were selected, being all open after 2005 under Seoul Gangseo District Office of Education. Secondly, field study was executed to find out toilet usage, during the period between April to June 2012, by visiting schools to see basic facilities, taking pictures and making actual measurement in each toilets. The architectural analysis was focused on location, moving line, actual size and space zoning, while the interior analysis being on finishing materials and the design of sanitary equipments. And the design elements such as color, lighting fixture, art works or signage were analysed, too. Finally, questionnaire survey was done to find out preferences of lower grade students. As a result, the guidelines of toilet design can be divided into two main parts, Physical and Psychological. For the Physical part, it is necessary for related facilities to be concentrated in order to give easy access. In addition, good ventilation, better lighting and to install sanitary equipments ergonomically are required. Furthermore, safe and clean maintenance should be considered. Psychologically, the design should be directed for making lower grade students come to toilets with comfort and more pleasantly.

유아용 목재완구의 특성분석 (Characteristic of Wooden Toy for Infants)

  • On the ground of that toy as for infants is an important tool for education as well as play and furthermore it has a great influences on their growth and development, the present study intends to analyze the characteristics of the infant-oriented toys made of wood, the environment-friendly material. Object of the study includes the infants aged 2 to 7, and the wooden toy not only in domestic also international cases are investigated and analyzed from the point of function and design in particular, and the infant-oriented wooden toy is finally characterized. The wooden toys are classified in 5 items according to functions. There are toy helping a physical development like small muscles, toy improving the creativity, toy assisting language learning like Korean & English, toy contributing to number understanding and counting, and toy for imitation of social roles. The characteristics of the wooden toy are that the natural color & grain of wood are shown first, and also the natural texture & aroma of wood are felt secondly, and geometric design and shape are often presented thirdly, and recycling is available fourthly, and it is expensive finally. In order to revitalize the wooden toys lagging behind the cheap and diverse toys made of plastic, it is highly needed that development of the environment-friendly painting, unique design, marketing strategy of enterprises and use of domestic wood material.

  • In 2009, two national universities were integrated into one and the following was newly named Gangneung- Wonju National University. Therefore, this university requires consolidation and promotion of UI(University Identity) as a college brand in order to secure and enhance its competitiveness. The purpose of this study was to design and develop campus-wear, ultimately, it can be used as a part of the Gangeung-Wonju University's UIP policy. A qualitative approach of searching==incorporating books, dissertations, and web-based information==was taken to investigate theoretical backgrounds. The campus-wears were collected from the selected universities in Korea and abroad for the distinct design development. The result of the research are as follows. The concept for the design planning was "wit, exciting & challenge for campus life". The developed UI had focused on expressing positive images of the University. Six items were chosen for the campus-wear design. The goal was to demonstrate practicality and fashion trend. The color arrangement primarily focused on the University's official color and pursued a bright, breeze look. The detailed techniques used for the actual production were printing, embroidery, and accessories. The UI products may not only instill the members of the university with the spirit and pride by strengthening the sense of belonging, but also create a synergistic effect in education by boosting the university promotion and by newly establishing standing as the integrated university.

일제 강점기 여성 단발의 헤어디자인 조형적 요소 분석 (Analysis of hair design formative factors in the women's one length hair style in the Imperial Japanese colonial period)

  • 일제 강점기 여성들 one length hair style의 변천사 및 형태학적 분석을 시도한 연구로서 선행논문과 저서를 바탕으로 형태, 질감, 색상 등 헤어디자인의 구성 요소들을 분석하여 다양한 형태의 one length hair style 커트가 가능해지는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 연구 결과 1910년-1920년대 one length hair style은 커트 길이의 단차가 전혀 없는 out line을 지닌 형태, 자연 그대로의 모발 질감, 자연 모발 색상을 보였다. 1930년대 one length hair style은 약간의 커트 길이의 단차를 보이면서 다이아몬드 형태, 자연스런 질감의 narrow wave, 과산화수소나 oxygenated water을 이용한 약간의 탈색이 이뤄졌다. 1940년대 one length hair style은 형태, 질감, 색상 면에서 화려한 미(美)를 추구하려는 특이점이 발견되지 않았다. 본 연구를 통해 one length hair style에 관한 심층적이고 세분화 된 후속 연구가 가능해지며, 헤어미용 교육의 기초 자료 및 뉴 모드의 트렌드 개발을 위한 초석으로 작용하리라 사료한다.

상표충성도에 따른 여성복 브랜드 포지셔닝 (Women's Wear Brand Positioning According to Brand Loyalty)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify brand loyally of women's wear and construct brand positioning maps by using multidimensional scaling(MDS). There were significant differences between brand loyal and indifferent group in ages, income, occupation status and level of education. Significant differences were found between groups in the degree of importance of attributes (design/color, fashion, quality, store image, salesperson's attitude and brand reputation) when evaluating brands. The positioning maps upon the similarity and preference of brand image were composed by use of MDS.

화장색 이미지평가와 선호도 차이 (제1보) -지각자의 성별을 중심으로- (A Differences in Preference and Evaluation on the Image of Make-up (Part I) -Focused on Perceiver's Genders-)

  • The purpose of this research is to provide the basic data for the development of make-up color application system, based of Korean's skin tone and the preference in make-up color to enhance the effectiveness of the education of beauty in universities. The research was conducted by the previous studies, the analyses of sale's rate of hue-cosmetics, the analytic experiment of color of cosmetics by using Spectrum Color Analyzer and other experimental researches. This research, based on the results of three preliminary researches, shows the result of evaluation from perceivers which has been come out from the experiment of having one model in her twenties being changed with twenty-two different conditions of make-up. Here follows the result of the research. Firstly, there was difference on perceiving images in terms of the gender of perceivers and especially male-group tend to have clearly perceived the gap between elegance-greyish purple, orange-natural, red-classic on monochrome make-up and contrast make-up. Secondly, in terms of lip-colors, salmon pink and pink was regarded positively to both female and male subjects and to male subjects, greyish purple was thought to be better on darker skin-tone and to female subjects, better on lighter skin-tone. Thirdly, on image make-up, romantic gives intelligent image regardless of skin-tone and gender, especially gives more positive looks to male subjects. Natural and classic elements were perceived more positively on darker skin-tone and had bigger perceiving gap in female subjects. Fourthly, in preference rate, male subjects normally preferred the look with make-up than female subjects did and salmon pink and pink lip color was preferred on the darker skin-tone.

영상처리 교육을 위한 로봇의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Robot for Vision Education)

  • 현재 로봇 교육을 위한 다양한 컨텐츠의 로봇들이 나오고 있다. 하지만 영상처리와 관련된 교육용 로봇이 부족하며 한 가지의 컨텐츠만을 다루는 로봇이 주를 이루기 때문에 다양한 교육을 하기는 어렵다. 본 논문에서 제안된 영상처리 교육용 로봇은 모듈 형식의 하드웨어를 사용하여 단일 로봇에서 다양한 교육 컨텐츠를 교육 할 수 있으며 소프트웨어 부분에서 색, 패턴 인식, 각도 추출과 모터제어를 제공하며 사용자는 영상처리, MCU와 Encoder의 사용법, 모터제어 및 관련 프로그램 사용법을 교육 및 실습 받게 된다.

단체 교육용 컴퓨터 책상 개발 (Inventing Computer Desk for Education by Group)

  • In order to occupy educational furniture market that grows by the day and to meet demands for alternative product for the current market, this study took business features and productivity of Sinil Furniture Co into consideration, and developed computer desk for education by group, which is new among educational furniture. The scope of the study ranges from data research based on design process into creation of prototype. By improving the condition where, despite that electrically-powered computer desk for anti-theft system is high priced, it sees frequent malfunction, the study suggested low-priced, non- electrically-powered anti-theft system which has more solid structure. Furthermore, in order for the user to be more free and comfortable while studying on it, it differentiates from other products by locating PC main body to the back of the monitor and lowering it below the altitude of monitor to prevent it from interfering with studies. We've made the higher board of the desk in a soft curved-shape in order to lessen the stress from studying. And as space for the monitor's lower mount was decreased, we've put the lower mount below the higher board; so that lacking space can be recovered while functioning as anti-theft system. Moreover, we've covered the PC main body with steel cover so that it would add color and formal luxuriousness to the appearance of the desk. Considering ease of mobility and productivity, knock-down system was introduced.

의류학 관련 교양과목 <영화로 만나는 패션> 개발과 운영사례 (A case study on the development and operation of "Fashion & Film" in the liberal arts related to apparel science)

  • This case study developed and operated "Fashion & Film" as a fashion-related liberal arts course. The class was designed to include fashion styles exhibitted in films, fashion-related PPL, fashion design through film, fashion images of movie characters, considering gender & color images expressed in movie costumes, and the history of western costumes and asian folk costumes in films. The class was counducted through various teaching methods, such as lectures, student's presentation of movie plots, and team discussions, which created a student-led class. The team presentations at the end of the term were intended to enhance the understanding of fashion through movies. The results of subjective lecture evaluation of "Fashion & Film" showed the most satisfaction with the communication with professor. Students said that it was good to understand fashion through film. They expressed a burden with the team project; however, they were satisfied with the team project outcomes. Students said that PowerPoint was used very effectively. On the other hand, there was an prevelent opinion that the content of PowerPoint and workbook did not match. To address this inconvenience, a textbook called "Fashion in Film" was published and used in the first semester of 2020. The multiple-choice evaluation showed that students were generally satisfied with the "Fashion & Film" class.

"순수(純粹)의 시대(時代)" 영화(映畵) 의상(衣裳) 디자인 연구(硏究) - May와 Ellen의 의상(衣裳)을 중심(中心)으로 - (A Study on Movie Costume Design of The Age of Innocence - Focusing on May & Ellen's Costume -)

  • This study was carried out in order to become that it helped a base of education to train creation of movie costume. The object is the movie costume of the movie, The Age of Innocence that got the Academy award in movie costume. This study analyzed the costume and color symbolism of the film based on the novel, The Age of Innocence written by Edith Wharton who is a realism writer, and a master of manners and customs novel, is the first Pulitzer Prizewinner as a woman. And this study created the movie costume and hair-style of two heroines, May and Ellen who lead the huge irony that is principal stream of a novel. May stands for 'irony of innocence' and Ellen does for 'absolute innocence'. And each image represents on a display of the front and back of 'innocence' symbolically. The costume design of them was planned along the character which was analyzed and interpreted irony of a drama in a viewpoint of Wharton through this study and expressed with illustration. And using 57cm Porcelain doll, produced a hair-style and costume.
