Recently building up of u-learning oriented teaching and learning system has been expanded rapidly, However domestic junior college's challenging for adapting it might be slower than other educational body's doing, and in that result it might be paid more or be taken longer time to improve their old system effectively. Now, it is very time for them to develop and implement u-learning oriented teaching and learning system quickly. This paper offers and draws the core factors to design ubiquitous teaching and learning model systematically through investigation of worldwide recent technology and R&D, patent, service and standardization tendency related with u-learnig modeling.
This study was performed to isolate and identify bacteria from uterus with pyometra and examine their susceptibility to antimicrobial agents. Uterus of 16 bitches with pyometra were surgically removed by ovariohysteroctomy and then bacteria were isolated and identified. Also, susceptibility test to 15 antimicrobial agents was performed. Out of 16 bitches, 11 strains of Escherichia coli, 2 strains of Serratia marcescens, and 1 strain of Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella spp. were identified. In antimicrobial susceptibility test, the majority of isolates were susceptible to enrofloxacin, norfloxacin, chloramphenicol, nalidixic acid, gentamicin, trimethprim-sulfamethazole, tetracycline, and moderately susceptible to carbenicillin, amikacin, ampicillin, neomycin, but resistant to vancomycin, streptomycin, bacitracin and colistin. In conclusion, E coli was the most common bacteria isolated from bitches with pyometra and those susceptible antimicrobial agents could be recommended to medical therapy of pyometra.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among elementary school teachers' high school and college backgrounds in science, their attitudes toward teaching science, their science teaching efficacy beliefs, and their instructional strategies. Both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, were utilized in this study. This paper, however, presents only the results of the quantitative data analysis while expecting to report the qualitative data analysis outcomes afterwards. Four instruments were used to ascertain information concerning teachers' backgrounds in science(the number of high school science courses they took and the grades of courses, the number of college science courses and grades, the number of college science methods courses and grades), attitudes toward teaching science, science teaching self-efficacy beliefs(personal science teaching efficacy and science teaching outcome expectancy), and their instructional strategies(indirect, direct, and mixed methods). A sample of 340 practicing elementary school teachers participated in this study. To determine statistically significant results, Pearson's correlation coefficient was used to relate teachers' backgrounds in science, attitudes toward teaching science, science teaching self-efficacy beliefs and their instructional strategies. The correlation coefficients were statistically significant regarding four variables, teachers' backgrounds in science, attitudes toward teaching science, science teaching self-efficacy beliefs, and instructional strategies investigated in this study. These results can be interpreted that programs of teacher preparations and trainings which include science and science methods courses should help prospective and practicing teachers change in their attitudes and beliefs toward science teaching. It is expected that future studies concerning teachers' attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors toward teaching science can help to improve science teacher education in Korea.
Purpose : This study was to investigate the satisfaction of clinical practice according to medical institute. Methods : A survey was administered for 70 college students with experience in clinical practices. We investigated using a questionnaire on 'curriculum factors on practice', 'environmental factors on practice', 'time-schedule factors on practice', 'teaching factors on practice'. A statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 17.0 for window version. Results : 1. The degree of satisfaction on curriculum of clinical practice was higher college hospital than other hospital in 3 among 5 items(p<.05). 2. The degree of satisfaction on environmental factors of clinical practice was higher school hospital than other hospital in 4 among 6 items(p<.05). 3. The degree of satisfaction on time-schedule factors of clinical practice was higher college hospital than other hospital in 1 among 5 items(p<.05). 4. The degree of satisfaction on teaching factors of clinical practice was higher college hospital than other hospital in 4 among 6 items(p<.05). Conclusion : It was revealed by this survey that the satisfaction of clinical practice in school hospital had higher other hospital in curriculum, environment and teaching factors. To maximize the effects of clinical practice, a clinical practice program in school hospital is required and further research and attention are suggested.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to propose a teaching model to improve the cultural competence care of undergraduate Korean nursing students. Methods: A literature review was performed from 2000 through 2014 using internet to identify studies that presented nursing curricula and teaching-learning strategies in Korea. We analyzed retrieved Korean seven articles using Campinha-Bacote's ASKED model in combination with reflective experiences of authors observing classrooms in the U.S. Results: Six syllabuses presented information about cultural diversity nursing concepts in Korea. A traditional lecture focused on presenting contents about cultural knowledge by an instructor in the classroom was identified as a commonly used teaching strategy. We found that cultural competency related to cultural desire, awareness, and encounter was lacking. Thus, we developed teaching model based on the Korean nursing education contexts and combined with Campinha-Bacote model to improve cultural competency in nursing. Conclusions: The proposed teaching model shows promise as a strategy for improving the knowledge, attitudes, and skills related to cultural competent for undergraduate nursing students in Korea. However, evidences that this model improves nursing students' clinical practices reflecting cultural competent care are still lacking. Future research focusing on determining teaching methods and contents in clinical practices will be most effective.
Purpose: This descriptive study was conducted to compare the teaching status, utilization of the teaching materials, and the need to solve matters of sex education between the school health educators and teachers working in an elementary school in Busan. Method: 182 school health educators and 125 teachers participated in the research. Data was collected using a self-administered questionnaire, and analyzed by frequency and x2 -test using the SPSS WIN 10.0 Program. Results: While school health educators carried out most of the sex education in the extra curriculum and physical education class, teachers did in the regular curriculum and physical education class. Regarding the utilization of the teaching materials on sex education, although the majority of school health educators used the teacher's manual, only a few teachers used it. Most of the school health educators used the ICT teaching materials while only half of the teachers did. Regarding the methods to solve matters on sex education, school health educators responded that a sex-related subject should be combined with a health subject, and an independent sex-related subject was necessary. The teachers, however, responded that it was necessary to secure enough time for sex education, the sex-related subject combined with a health subject was necessary, and there is a need to designate a sex educator. Conclusion: School health educators utilized more teaching materials for sex education and suggested more active methods to solve matters related to sex education. Therefore, school health educators should be more active as sex educators, and the subject of sex education should be adopted as a regular course.

This study explored effective teaching-learning activities under the hybrid teaching model combining flipped learning, direct instruction, cooperative learning and distance learning. Subjects were 99 college students enrolled in 2 teacher preparation courses. Students evaluated effectiveness of 22 teaching-learning activities according to Likert scale at the end of the semester. As a result, all 22 teaching learning activities were considered effective more or less. They facilitated motivation, comprehension, participation, thinking, and led to mastery of the task. ② Activities scored low were 'questioning and answering at the beginning of online class', 'open book test'. ③ Hybrid teaching model was favored over traditional instruction. Open ended responses were consistent with the ones in the questionnaire. This research supports the notion that key teaching models to be combined for successful flipped learning in college setting are direct instruction and cooperative learning. Furthermore, effective and ineffective teaching strategies for flipped learning were found.
