Eight hundred college students in Seoul area were surveyed for consumer behaviors and opinions about fast food restaurants at library, student center and class room from August 26 to 30, 1991. The result of this study showed that 70% of college students preferred to eat hamberger or chicken and 49% of them visited to fast food restaurants 1-3 times per month. The reasons given by students for patronizing fast food restaurants were the following, from most to least frequence: 'convenient', 'pleasant atmosphere', 'nice place to stay with friends', 'taste of food', 'speed of service', 'to be able to stay as long as I want', 'hygiene', 'variety of food price', 'nutritious food'. Majority of college students(71%) selected their food by preference, but 22% of them done by price. They were least satisfied with price and quantity of fast food. Therefore, it is important to develop domestic brand fast food restaurants to lower the price of fast food.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the student nurse's perception and performance about the protecting behavior of the medical information. The subjects of the study were 365 senior nursing students. The data was analyzed by SPSS PC 19.0 program. 1) The mean scores of perception and performance by student nurse's on protecting behavior of the medical information were $4.39{\pm}0.40$ and $3.71{\pm}0.57$. 2) The perception on protecting behavior of the medical information was heavily dependent on the following age. 3) The performance on protecting behavior of the medical information was heavily dependent on the following career interests and work unit. 4) There was a positive correlation between the perception and performance about the protecting behavior of the medical information. The results showed the statistically significant partial correlation between the perception and performance. Therefore, it is suggested to apply the concrete education program to enhance the perception in order to improve the performance.

The purpose of this study was to explore the attitude of student nurses to euthanasia. The convenient sample for this study consisted of 293 nursing students at a nursing college in Kyeongi Province. The data were collected from Oct. 15, 2002 to Oct. 30, 2002 and were analyzed using frequency, percentage, and $X^2$-test with the SAS package. The results of this study are as follow : 77.1% of students agreed to passive euthanasia and 70.6% subjects agreed to legalization of passive euthanasia. 78.5% of students can given an exact explanation of the concept of hospice. They obtained information about hospice from the mass media (1.1%), books (30.0%), friends and neighbors (3.4%), and religious groups (2.4%). The preferred place for death was reported to be home (75.4%), hospital (9.4%) or a peaceful place (6.3%). Fears of facing death were suffering in death (23.4%), grief of remaining family (21.2%), unknown about the other world (10.0%), separation from people who are loved (9.7%), forgotten from the people's memory(6.3%). In conclusion, the attitude of student nurses toward passive euthanasia approached a positive direction. But euthanasia was seen as dangerous and having multiple problems. Therefore the training for student nurses as health professionals should include content on dealing with hospice care and euthanasia.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of tangible clues on university students' perceived risks and satisfaction at family-restaurants in Seoul. The performances of 3 tangible clues(physical evidence, employee, service process) negatively influenced the student's perceived risks. This result indicated that tangible clues can reduce the negative characteristics of service (intangibility, inseparability, perishability and variability) toward student customers at family restaurants. Meanwhile, financial risk, performance risk and social risk negatively influenced their overall satisfaction. Performance risk had the strongest negative influence on student customers' overall satisfaction, indicating that university students were much more interested in performance and utility about menu, food and service quality than in other factors at family restaurants. As a result, food-service corporations need to manage suitably various tangible clues as an important marketing strategy to diminish their customers' perceived risk and raise their satisfaction.

Method: Nine hundred and thirty eight(938) student nurse from 3 universities and 3 junior colleges participated in this study. Completed questionnaires were collected between October and November 2004. They were analyzed by using the descriptive statistics and $x^2$-test, t-test with the SAS program, Results: There were no significant differences in the general characteristics of participants between the two groups-Needlestick Injury(NSI) group and non-Needle stick Injury(non-NSI) group. The scores for knowledge levels of treatment after needle stick injuries and the risk factor recognition level were significantly higher in the NSI group. The scores for performance level as to handling and using needles after needlestick injuries were significantly higher in the non-NSI group. Objectives : In the acupuncture treatment of Korean Medicine, the Tonifying or Purging depending on how many times the needle is rotated has been used widely. However, there is little evidence about the optimal number of rotation. This study, therefore, was aimed to investigate the optimal number of rotation. Methods : Heart rate variation was measured before and after exercise in 20 healthy adults. Acupuncture was performed at PC6 immediately after exercise according to the protocol of each group without remaining. Pre-exercise and post-exercise measurements were compared and the rotation number that produced statistically significant difference was investigated. Results : Significant differences were found in the heart rate variation and R-R interval Average, between non-rotation group (control) and both of 15 times rotation group of tonifying and 6 times rotation group of purging. Conclusions : Significantly effective number of rotation in the effect of PC6 on the HR and RRAv was 15 times in the tonifying and 6 in the purging respectively.

The purpose of the study was to explore the uses and gratification of social media among first-year student groups at a satellite campus of a public university in Ghana. The study employed a descriptive survey design. The study involved all 1061 first-year university students in six academic departments of the College. A total of 680 (64%) participants returned validly completed copies of the questionnaire. Descriptive statistics and thematic analysis were employed for data analysis. The findings indicate that WhatsApp was the most popular application for social media groups, while a need for information-sharing, peer-tutoring and learning, and finding and keeping friends were the primary motivations for joining social media groups. First-year students are involved mainly in reactive activities, as most engage when solving an academic assignment through group discussions. Though challenges persist, such as posting of unwanted images, inadequate participation, and ineffective and irrelevant communication, most are willing to continue their social media groups' membership in the long term. This study provides valuable insight into transitioning students' lived experiences on social media from the group perspective. These insights are valuable conceptually and practically to academic counsellors, librarians and student affairs officers who are expected to provide on-going education on (social) media literacy to first-year students to enhance the adjustment process. The study is the first of its kind in Ghana that investigates social media group participants' exit intentions.

Purpose: This study is to assess the level of student perceptions, academic achievement, satisfaction, and their relationships in a medical-surgical nursing course using team-based learning (TBL). Method: Four-hour TBL sessions were given in a structured three-phase sequence in a cohort of 261 second year nursing students. Results: Mean perceptions of TBL was $6.64{\pm}5.11$, and $8.30{\pm}4.11$ for perceptions of teamwork. On a 7-point scale, the mean satisfaction score was $4.85{\pm}1.41$, and 64.0% of nursing students were satisfied with TBL compared to lecture. Group readiness assurance test score was significantly higher than individual readiness assurance test score (t=-16.76, p<.001). Perceptions of TBL (F=1.40, p=.245), perceptions of team work (F=1.55, p=.202) and satisfaction (F=0.81, p=.489) was not different by the level of students' academic achievement on items related TBL. Conclusion: Results indicates that TBL was an effective instructional strategy including favorable perceptions and satisfaction for nursing students. TBL could be an adjunct educational strategy for undergraduate nursing education.
This research proposes to design a flipped classroom with strategic questioning to enhance engineering student's creative problem-solving competency on the basis of the subject knowledge. By applying the designed flipped classroom to both of college and dual system engineering courses during one semester, this study explores to find the meaning and effects of the flipped learning method. The case study analyzed the influences of the flipped learning with the use of strategic questioning on student's problem-solving performance, and also investigated student satisfaction and evaluation of the learning in order to draw out the factors to consider further in the instructional design.
