인터넷 중독과 정보윤리에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 - 자아특성 및 인터넷 인지특성을 중심으로 (Factors Influencing Internet Addiction and Information Ethics : Centering on Self Characteristics and Cognitive Characteristics toward Internet)

  • Recently, negative sides of internet, internet and/or game addiction and unethical behavior over internet, have been largely publicized in our society. There have been numerous studies to explore the problems and solutions, but these lack considering broader set of research variables. Therefore, this research investigated how i) internet users' self characteristics and ii) cognitive characteristics toward internet influence iii) internet addiction and iv) information ethics respectively. Especially, this study focused on college students, more mature beings than elementary, middle and high school students with whom most other researches have dealt so far. Major findings of this study are as follows: (1) Willingness to develop relationships over internet, usefulness of internet use, a degree to perceive the cyber space as real, and a degree to express self over internet have significant effects on disabled life style. Self respect willingness to develop relationships over internet, usefulness of internet use, a degree to perceive the cyber space as real, and capability of using internet have significant effects on the lack of control over internet. Willingness to develop relationships over internet, self control, and a degree to express self over internet have significant effects on the lack of control over internet. 2) Regarding the effects of independent variables(self characteristics and cognitive characteristics) on information ethics through internet addiction factors, self respect self control, a degree to perceive the cyber space as real, and capability of using internet have directly and indirectly significant effects on information ethics through internet addiction. Then we suggested four approaches to reduce the internet addiction and improve the information ethics based on the findings.

중학생의 자기주도학습능력과 정서조절전략에 따른 학교생활만족도 (The School Life Satisfaction of Middle School Students according to Self-Directed Learning Capability and Emotion Regulation Strategy)

  • 본 연구는 중학생의 자기주도학습능력과 정서조절전략에 따른 학교생활만족도의 차이를 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 중학생 499명으로 자기주도학습능력, 정서조절전략, 학교생활만족도 척도로 구성된 질문지를 조사도구로 사용하였다. 수집된 자료를 분석하기 위하여 빈도 및 백분율, 각 측정도구의 타당도와 신뢰도를 파악하기 위해서 요인분석을 실시하고 Cronbach ${\alpha}$계수를 산출하였다. 본 연구의 구체적인 연구문제를 분석하기 위해서 이원배치분산분석(Two Way ANOVA)을 실시하였으며, 상호작용 효과가 유의한 집단 간의 구체적인 차이를 알아보기 위해 일원배치분산분석(One Way ANOVA)과 $Scheff{\acute{e}}$의 사후검증을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 연구결과와 논의를 통해 얻은 요약 및 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중학생의 자기주도학습능력과 행동적 정서조절전략에 따른 학교생활만족도는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 중학생의 자기주도학습능력과 인지적 정서조절전략에 따른 학교생활만족도는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학생의 자기주도학습능력과 부정 회피적 정서조절전략에 따른 학교생활만족도는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 가정과 교육의 교과내용은 실천적 학문으로써 학습관리와 스트레스관리 등의 자기관리 영역을 포함하고 있으므로 이러한 본 연구의 결과를 자기관리 영역의 수업활동에 적용하고 활용한다면 청소년의 학교생활 만족도의 증진에 도움이 될 것이다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 먼저 전문대학 학생의 NCS 업무처리능력군(문제해결능력, 정보능력, 기술능력, 자원관리능력, 조직이해능력)과 진로효능감 간의 영향 관계를 실증분석하기 위함에 있다. 그리고 이 진로효능감과 진로결과기대 및 진로준비행동 간의 영향관계에 대해 실증분석하기 위함이다. 사회인지진로이론 및 자기효능감 관련 기존의 선행연구를 바탕으로 한 실증분석의 결과를 요약 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전문대학 학생의 진로결과기대와 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 선행 영향요인으로 진로효능감 요인을 확인하였다. 둘째, 업무처리능력군 중 문제해결능력, 정보능력, 자원관리능력, 조직이해능력은 진로효능감에 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다. 마지막으로, 업무처리능력군 중 기술능력은 진로효능감에 유의한 영향관계가 없는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 전문대학 학생의 진로효능감을 향상 시킬 수 있는 학과 차원의 행정지원과 교수자의 상담 및 멘토링 지원이 이루어질 수 있도록 비교과과목의 개설과 교수평가 지표 항목의 개발 등의 정책적 제안이 가능함을 확인한 점에서 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다. 더불어 본 연구에서는 조직이해능력, 정보능력, 자원관리능력, 그리고 문제해결능력이 진로효능감에 미치고 이는 다시 진로결과기대와 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인 되었기에 해당 능력과 관련된 비교과목의 개설 및 특화 및 특강 프로그램을 위한 준비와 진행의 정책적 제안이 가능함을 확인한 점에서 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 한계를 제시하였다.

고등학생의인지수준과 과학탐구 능력과의 관계 분석 (An Analysis on the Relationship between Cognitive Levels and Science Inquiry Skills in High School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify concretely how to improve inquiry learning. To put the purpose in detail : 1) to define the inquiry skills 2) to select the factors of inquiry skills appropriate to the content of Science I (earth science) textbook 3) to develop items which consist of experimental inquiry and concept inquiry in due proportion, to evalute inquiry skills 4) to analyze the relationship between high school students' cognitive levels and the achievement of science inquiry skills. To achieve these objectives, the investigator sampled 558 students in eleventh grade, living in Seoul, Chung-Ju and Kwang-Ju, and evaluated their cognitive levels and the achievement of science inquiry skills. The results of this study showed that the cognitive levels of students were lower than those identified in Piaget's work and that the achievement of science inquiry skills were low also. It may be thought that one of most important reasons to bring about those results is lacking in adaptation capability of science inquiry items and inquiry learning. So, it can be recommended as a way to heighten cognitive levels to make inquiry learning using the textbook content. In conclusion, the investigator make suggestions as follows : 1) to give inquiry learning which consist of experimental inquiry and concept inquiry in due proportion 2) to develop inquiry items to include content for evaluating inquiry learning, and test items for psycho-motor areas 3) to publish textbooks which motivate students' inquiry activities and develop their creative thinking, considering students' cognitive levels and inquiry skills.

On the Performance of Cooperative Spectrum Sensing of Cognitive Radio Networks in AWGN and Rayleigh Fading Environments

  • For the purpose of enhancing the spectrum efficiency, cognitive radio (CR) technology has been recently proposed as a promising dynamic spectrum allocation paradigm. In CR, spectrum sensing is the key capability of secondary users in a cognitive radio network that aims for reducing the probability of harmful interference with primary users. However, the individual CRs might not be able to carry out reliable detection of the presence of a primary radio due to the impact of channel fading or shadowing. This paper studies the cooperative spectrum sensing scheme as means of optimizing the sensing performance in AWGN and Rayleigh channels. Results generated from simulation provide evidence of the impact of channel condition on the complementary receiver operating characteristic (ROC). Based on the results, it was found that with constant local SNRs at the secondary users, the probability of missed detection ($P_m$) of cooperative spectrum sensing in a cognitive radio network, calculated using a closed form expression, can be significantly minimized. Thus, the paper illustrates that improvement of the detection performance of the CR network can be achieved by establishing a centralized cooperation among neighboring cognitive radio users. Finally, verification of the validity of the fusion schemes utilized for combining the individual CR decisions is provided.

Spatial Correlation-based Resource Sharing in Cognitive Radio SWIPT Networks

  • Cognitive radio-simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (CR-SWIPT) has attracted much interest since it can improve both the spectrum and energy efficiency of wireless networks. This paper focuses on the resource sharing between a point-to-point primary system (PRS) and a multiuser multi-antenna cellular cognitive radio system (CRS) containing a large number of cognitive users (CUs). The resource sharing optimization problem is formulated by jointly scheduling CUs and adjusting the transmit power at the cognitive base station (CBS). The effect of accessing CUs' spatial channel correlation on the possible transmit power of the CBS is investigated. Accordingly, we provide a low-complexity suboptimal approach termed the semi-correlated semi-orthogonal user selection (SC-SOUS) algorithm to enhance the spectrum efficiency. In the proposed algorithm, CUs that are highly correlated to the information decoding primary receiver (IPR) and mutually near orthogonal are selected for simultaneous transmission to reduce the interference to the IPR and increase the sum rate of the CRS. We further develop a spatial correlation-based resource sharing (SC-RS) strategy to improve energy sharing performance. CUs nearly orthogonal to the energy harvesting primary receiver (EPR) are chosen as candidates for user selection. Therefore, the EPR can harvest more energy from the CBS so that the energy utilization of the network can improve. Besides, zero-forcing precoding and power control are adopted to eliminate interference within the CRS and meet the transmit power constraints. Simulation results and analysis show that, compared with the existing CU selection methods, the proposed low-complex strategy can enhance both the achievable sum rate of the CRS and the energy sharing capability of the network.

Fermented Laminaria japonica improves working memory and antioxidant defense mechanism in healthy adults: a randomized, double-blind, and placebo-controlled clinical study

  • A randomized, double-blind, and placebo-controlled clinical study was used to determine the cognitive functions related to working memory (WM) and antioxidant properties of fermented Laminaria japonica (FLJ) on healthy volunteers. Eighty participants were divided into a placebo group (n = 40) and FLJ group (n = 40) that received FLJ (1.5 g/day) for 6 weeks. Memory-related blood indices (brain-derived neurotrophic factor, BDNF; angiotensin-converting enzyme; human growth hormone, HGH; insulin-like growth factor-1, IGF-1) and antioxidant function-related indices (catalase, CAT; malondialdehyde, MDA; 8-oxo-2'-deoxyguanosine, 8-oxo-dG; thiobarbituric acid reactive substances, TBARS) were determined before and after the trial. In addition, standardized cognitive tests were conducted using the Cambridge Neuropsychological Test Automated Batteries. Furthermore, the Korean Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (K-WAIS)-IV, and the Korean version of the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA-K) were used to assess the pre and post intake changes on WM-related properties. According to the results, FLJ significantly increased the level of CAT, BDNF, HGH, and IGF-1. FLJ reduced the level of TBARS, MDA, and 8-oxo-dG in serum. Furthermore, FLJ improved physical activities related to cognitive functions such as K-WAIS-IV, MoCA-K, Paired Associates Learning, and Spatial Working Memory compared to the placebo group. Our results suggest that FLJ is a potential candidate to develop functional materials reflecting its capability to induce antioxidant mechanisms together with WM-related indices.

A Study on Ability of Cognitive Impairment According for Decreased Balance Function of Pneumoconiosis Patients

  • Purpose: Pneumoconiosis is a chronic lung disease in which the lungs become hardened due to the accumulation of fine mineral dust that has been breathed in at industrial sites. The lungs are unable to function properly, resulting in complications of several respiratory diseases. Methods: The subjects were 36 elderly adults (pneumoconiosis patients 18, healthy elderly 18) over the age of 65 years. The respiratory function was assessed using a spirometer to measure forced vital capacity (FVC), first second of forced expiration (FEV1), FEV1/FVC, and peak expiratory flow n(PEF). The static balance function test was determined by the center of mass (COM), ankle angle range, hip angle range, sway parameters, and reciprocal compensatory index (RCI). Cognitive function was measured by applying MoCA-k. Results: Comparison of respiration functions between the two groups showed statistically significant differences in FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC, and PEFs (p<0.05). Cognitive abilities showed statistically significant differences due to higher cognitive skills in the control group as compared to the patient group (p<0.05). Most results of the static balance capability measurements showed statistically significant differences between the groups (p<0.05). However, no statistically significant differences were obtained for COM AP Range, Angle AP Range, RCI ML Range, and AP Range (p>0.05). Conclusion: The results of the current study indicate that patients suffering from pneumoconiosis have less cognitive ability and balance function as compared to healthy elderly people. Therefore, we expect an improvement in the balance ability and cognitive function through systematic management and strengthening lung function training to improve the quality of life of pneumoconiosis patients.

스마트폰 이용자의 정서적 소진과 학습 성과에 영향을 주는 인지·감성 성향과 사용 경험에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Cognitive/Affective Personality and Experiential Factors Influencing on Smart Phone Users' Emotional Exhaustion and Education Performance)

  • 최근 기업들은 스마트 기기를 활용하여 시간과 공간의 제약을 받지 않으면서 전자결재, 고객관리, 현장점검 등의 업무를 원활하게 처리하는 스마트워크를 추진하고 있다. 스마트워크에 주로 사용되고 있는 스마트폰의 경우, 언제 어디서나 업무를 수행할 수 있는 혜택을 주는 반면에, 업무 영역과 사적영역을 불분명하게 만드는 문제를 야기한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 자기 통제력이나 감성적 요인을 고려할 필요가 있다. 왜냐하면 스마트워크 환경에서는 업무 스타일이 지시에서 자율로 전환되고, 스마트폰을 활용한 표현이 수월해 졌기 때문이다. 최근 마케팅 분야에서 인지·감성·의지 등 세가지 구성요소의 조합을 통해 인간 행동이 나타난다고 보고 소비자 행태를 분석하고 있으며, 정보시스템 분야에서도 관심을 보여 왔다. 하지만 기존 연구는 인지·감성·의지 요인을 분류하고 있지 않으며, 이 중에서 한두 가지 요인에 집중하고 있다는 한계가 있다. 이러한 배경 하에서 본 연구는 스마트폰 이용자의 인지·감성·의지 요인을 살펴보는 데 중점을 두었다. 왜냐하면 스마트워크 환경에서 업무를 수행하는 것과 스마트러닝 환경에서 학습을 수행하는 것이 유사하여, 스마트러닝 환경에서 학습 성과 영향요인 고찰을 통해 스마트워크 환경에서의 업무 성과 영향요인을 가늠해 볼 수 있기 때문이다. 이에 181명의 대학(원)생을 대상으로 학습 성과를 종속 요인으로 하는 설문조사에 기반을 둔 탐색적 연구를 수행하였다. 연구를 통해 개개인의 인지적 요인(자기 통제력)과 의지적 요인(스마트폰 커뮤니케이션 및 인터넷)을 향상시킬 수 있다면 정서적 소진을 낮추고, 학습 성과를 높일 수 있으며, 감성적 요인(심리적 분리와 감성 지능)이 향상되면 학습 성과를 높일 수 있다는 점을 다는 점을 발견하였다. 이러한 결과는 스마트러닝이나 스마트워크 환경에서 스마트기기 이용에 있어서 통제에 초점을 맞추기 보다는 적절한 사용을 장려할 수 있는 방안이 필요하다는 점을 시사한다.

  • Rule minimization technique adapted from rough set theory was applied to remove redundant knowledge which is not necessary to make a knowledge base. New algorithm to diagnose fault using Improved Fuzzy Cognitive Maps(I-FCMs), and Fuzzy Associative Memory(FAM) is proposed. I-FCM[22] is superior to gathering knowledge from many experts and descries dynamic behaviors of systems very well. I-FCM is not only a knowledge base, but also a inference engine. FAM has learning capability like neural network[12]. Rule minimization and composition of I-FCM and FAM make it possible to construct compact knowledge base and breaks the border between inference engine and knowledge base.
