초등학생 체육영재의 운동능력 검사를 위한 인지민첩성 측정방법 개발 (The Development of Method for Cognitive Agility of Elementary Sports Gifted Student)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 체육영재를 판별하는 종목으로써 인지능력과 함께 체력요인을 통합하여 평가하기 위한 측정방법을 개발함에 있다. 개발된 종목에 대한 타당도 검증을 위하여 2~6학년 초등학생 369명(체육영재와 비영재 포함)을 대상으로 체격 및 체력, 인지민첩성 측정을 실시하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 남녀 저학년과 고학년 체육영재의 인지민첩성 성공빈도는 비영재보다 높았다(p<.05). 인지민첩성 소요시간은 남녀 체육영재 집단이 비영재보다 유의하게 높았다(p<.05). 인지민첩성은 모든 체격요인간 유의한 상관성이 없었다(p<.05). 남녀 체육영재의 50m달리기와 사이드스텝은 인지민첩성 시간과 상관성이 있었다(p<.05). 공간지각력은 고학년 체육영재 집단이 비영재 집단보다 높은 경향을 보였다. 인지민첩성은 남녀 고학년 체육영재 집단에서 공간지각력과 유의한 정적 상관성을 보였다(p<.05). 이상의 결과들은 본 연구에서 개발된 인지민첩성 평가종목이 초등학교 남녀 학생들의 인지력과 민첩성을 반영하는 통합적 평가방법임을 나타낸다.

1년간의 복합 운동프로그램이 남성 치매환자의 운동능력과 인지기능에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of One Year Exercise Program on Exercise Capacity & Cognitive Function in Male Patients with Dementia)

  • 1년간의 운동이 남성 치매환자의 운동능력과 인지기능에 미치는 영향을 연구한 결과, 운동군의 경우 심폐지구력, 근력, 근지구력 및 MMSE는 운동전에 비해 운동중과 운동후 유의하게 증가하였고, 평형성과 민철성은 운동후 유의하게 증가하였으나 유연성은 유의한 차이가 없었다. 반면, 통제군은 모든 시기에서 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 이상의 결과를 볼 때, 1년간의 운동은 남성 치매환자의 운동능력과 인지기능을 향상시켜 환자들에게 자신감과 성취감을 얻을 수 있는 기회를 주었고, 나아가 독립적인 일상생활을 영위하고 삶의 질을 높이는데 크게 이바지 할 것으로 기대된다.

인지무선네트워크에서 블라인드 스펙트럼 랑데부 지연의 단축 (Achieving Agility in Blind Spectrum Rendezvous in Cognitive Radio Networks)

  • In cognitive radio networks, secondary transmitters should cease its transmission immediately on detecting of primary transmission in the spectrum they are accessing. Then they should exploit another idle spectrums and handoff to the newly found idle spectrums, which is called spectrum rendezvous. With regards to spectrum rendezvous, most of related work presume the existence of dedicated common control channel used by secondary users for exchanging the information of idle spectrums. However, this presumption is not feasible in real world cognitive radio scenario. Therefore we address a blind spectrum rendezvous scheme with no need of separate control channel. Furthermore we consider maintaining one or more extra spectrums (channels) to expedite the spectrum rendezvous. Our scheme lets secondary users maintain extra spectrums by exchanging the spectrum information periodically during normal communications. The one of the extra spectrums are regarded as a candidate spectrum that the users can handoff to on detecting the primary transmission. We evaluate that our blind scheme can help to reduce the rendezvous delay in a real world cognitive radio environments with USRPs.

고령자 건강증진을 위한 저항성 운동처방 시스템 구축에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Resistance Exercise Prescription System for the Health Improvement of the Older Adults)

  • Physical manifestations of aging due to the lack of exercise include the slowing down of motor learning, cardiopulmonary degradation, and the increasing difficulty to adapt to the environment. Aging is manifested with the lack of aerobic exercise work, decrease in muscular endurance, decline in skeletal and muscular strength, flexibility and agility, and the decrease in reaction speed and balance. Added to those are aging-related physiological changes, including the reduction of muscle bulk, increased body fat, decrease in total body water and basic metabolic rate as activities are reduced, and a decrease in cell and Lean Body Mass (LBM). These changes are known to cause problems. Interest and participation in appropriate physical activities among the elderly is needed to help them increase stamina, avoid diseases, maintain a clear intellect, and basically enable the elderly to live their daily lives as easy as possible. Therefore, physical activities are necessary for the elderly to enhance health-related factors. Special exercises should be performed for the enhancement of muscle function, muscle endurance, flexibility, agility, and balance. An accurate measurement of cardio-respiratory endurance and stamina through basic physical and cognitive characteristics of older adults is also required to ensure safety. Also, the development of a more scientific resistance exercise prescription system for the elderly is desperately needed.

노인의 건강체력과 우울, 삶의 질 관계 : 인지기능을 매개변수로 (The Relationship between Health Related Physical Fitness, Depression, and Quality of Life of the Elderly)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 노인의 건강체력, 우울 및 삶의 질 변인 간의 통합적 인과성을 규명하고자 한다. 자료 수집은 서울·경기 소재의 노인복지관과 노인정에서 동의를 얻은 자발적 참여자 385명을 대상으로 인구통계학적 특성과 인지기능, 삶의 질 및 우울의 설문지와 하체·상체 근력, 동적평형성 및 민첩성, 악력과 전신지구력을 측정하여 자료를 수집하였다. 이에 일련의 절차를 걸쳐 도출된 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인의 인지기능과 건강체력, 우울 및 삶의 질 간에는 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 노인의 인지기능과 건강체력, 삶의 질 및 우울의 통합적 관계성에 대한 결과 모든 변인 간에 통계적으로 유의성이 나타났다. 셋째, 노인의 건강 체력이 삶의 질과 우울에 미치는 영향에서는 인지기능의 부분 매개효과가 나타났다.

허약노인의 복합운동프로그램 참여가 체력, 일상생활수행능력 및 인지상태에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Complex Exercise Programs on Physical Fitness, Activities of Daily Living and Cognitive Status in Frail Elderly)

  • 본 연구는 허약 노인을 대상으로 복합운동프로그램 실시에 따른 체력, 일상생활수행능력과 인지상태의 변화를 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 대상은 21명의 허약노인을 대상으로 하였으며, 복합운동프로그램 운동그룹 12명, 통제그룹 9명으로 구성하였다. 복합운동프로그램은 유산소 운동 중심의 노인건강체조와 인지상태향상과 체력 향상을 위한 4색 래더 운동으로 구성되어 있으며 주2회, 1회 60분 운동을 10주간 실시하였다. 운동 프로그램 적용 전·후에 근력(상지, 하지), 유연성(앉아서 윗몸 앞으로 굽히기), 민첩성(전신반응시간), 보행능력, 협응성(Timed Up and Go test), 일상생활수행능력, 인지상태를 측정하였다. 허약 노인에 복합운동프로그램의 실시 유무에 따른 집단 간의 차이를 연구한 결과 운동그룹은 상지근력(악력)에서 통제 그룹과 비교하여 유의한 향상이 있었고, 일상생활 수행능력(ADL) 역시 유의한 향상을 나타냈다. 본 연구의 결과를 종합하면 허약 노인의 복합운동프로그램 참여는 근력(악력) 향상에 효과가 있으며, 다양한 신체 기능 및 인지상태 저하를 위한 예방 차원에서 효과가 있었다.

전라남도 섬과 해상에서 발생한 환자의 현황분석 (Status analysis of patients on islands and seas of Jeollanam-do)

  • Purpose: By analyzing the health status of emergency patients on islands in the Jeollanam-do province, this study aims to provide basic data for proposed future medical emergency services on the islands. This information includes monthly and hourly statistics on patients' characteristics, patient frequency, an analysis of first aid procedures, response times, and time spent at hospitals. Methods: The study analyzed the monthly and hourly frequency of emergency patients, first aid status and procedures, general patient characteristics, accident types, patient cognitive status and agility, marine police response times, and frequency and percentile of hospital dispatch times. Results: 1Q and #q show the highest patient turnover rate in one year. 50.5% of daily patients are admitted between 4 PM and 12 PM. The hospital dispatch time is within a one- to two-hour window for 54.0% of all patients. Conclusion: The emergency medical service system for the Jeollanam-do province islands and seas is available to all Korean residents, citizens, and visitors. It is necessary to implement an emergency medical system for the relevant organizations.

업무성과에 영향을 주는 업무용 모바일 어플리케이션의 주요 요인에 관한 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Influencing Factors of Perceived Job Performance in the Context of Enterprise Mobile Applications)

  • The ubiquitous accessibility of information through mobile devices has led to an increased mobility of workers from their fixed workplaces. Market researchers estimate that by 2016, 350 million workers will be using their smartphones for business purposes, and the use of smartphones will offer new business benefits. Enterprises are now adopting mobile technologies for numerous applications to increase their operational efficiency, improve their responsiveness and competitiveness, and cultivate their innovativeness. For these reasons, various organizational aspects concerning "mobile work" have received a great deal of recent attention. Moreover, many CIOs plan to allocate a considerable amount of their budgets mobile work environments. In particular, with the consumerization of information technology, enterprise mobile applications (EMA) have played a significant role in the explosive growth of mobile computing in the workplace, and even in improving sales for firms in this field. EMA can be defined as mobile technologies and role-based applications, as companies design them for specific roles and functions in organizations. Technically, EMA can be defined as business enterprise systems, including critical business functions that enable users to access enterprise systems via wireless mobile devices, such as smartphones or tablets. Specifically, EMA enables employees to have greater access to real-time information, and provides them with simple features and functionalities that are easy for them to complete specific tasks. While the impact of EMA on organizational workers' productivity has been given considerable attention in various literatures, relatively little research effort has been made to examine how EMA actually lead to users' job performance. In particular, we have a limited understanding of what the key antecedents are of such an EMA usage outcome. In this paper, we focus on employees' perceived job performance as the outcome of EMA use, which indicates the successful role of EMA with regard to employees' tasks. Thus, to develop a deeper understanding of the relationship among EMA, its environment, and employees' perceived job performance, we develop a comprehensive model that considers the perceived-fit between EMA and employees' tasks, satisfaction on EMA, and the organizational environment. With this model, we try to examine EMA to explain how job performance through EMA is revealed from both the task-technology fit for EMA and satisfaction on EMA, while also considering the antecedent factors for these constructs. The objectives of this study are to address the following research questions: (1) How can employees successfully manage EMA in order to enhance their perceived job performance? (2) What internal and/or external factors are important antecedents in increasing EMA users' satisfaction on MES and task-technology fit for EMA? (3) What are the impacts of organizational (e.g. organizational agility), and task-related antecedents (e.g., task mobility) on task-technology fit for EMA? (4) What are the impacts of internal (e.g., self-efficacy) and external antecedents (e.g., system reputation) for the habitual use of EMA? Based on a survey from 254 actual employees who use EMA in their workplace across industries, our results indicate that task-technology fit for EMA and satisfaction on EMA are positively associated with job performance. We also identify task mobility, organizational agility, and system accessibility that are found to be positively associated with task-technology fit for EMA. Further, we find that external factor, such as the reputation of EMA, and internal factor, such as self-efficacy for EMA that are found to be positively associated with the satisfaction of EMA. The present findings enable researchers and practitioners to understand the role of EMA, which facilitates organizational workers' efficient work processes, as well as the importance of task-technology fit for EMA. Our model provides a new set of antecedents and consequence variables for a TAM involving mobile applications. The research model also provides empirical evidence that EMA are important mobile services that positively influence individuals' performance. Our findings suggest that perceived organizational agility and task mobility do have a significant influence on task-technology fit for EMA usage through positive beliefs about EMA, that self-efficacy and system reputation can also influence individuals' satisfaction on EMA, and that these factors are important contingent factors for the impact of system satisfaction and perceived job performance. Our findings can help managers gauge the impact of EMA in terms of its contribution to job performance. Our results provide an explanation as to why many firms have recently adopted EMA for efficient business processes and productivity support. Our findings additionally suggest that the cognitive fit between task and technology can be an important requirement for the productivity support of EMA. Further, our study findings can help managers in formulating their strategies and building organizational culture that can affect employees perceived job performance. Managers, thus, can tailor their dependence on EMA as high or low, depending on their task's characteristics, to maximize the job performance in the workplace. Overall, this study strengthens our knowledge regarding the impact of mobile applications in organizational contexts, technology acceptance and the role of task characteristics. To conclude, we hope that our research inspires future studies exploring digital productivity in the workplace and/or taking the role of EMA into account for employee job performance.
