현장방염처리제도의 실효성 확보 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Ways of Securing the Effectiveness of Field Flame Retardant Coating Process)

  • 본 연구는 현장방염처리 물품에 대한 성능검사와 관련하여 불합리한 제도를 개선하고, 합리적인 방염성능검사 방법을 통하여 현장방염처리 물품에 대한 방염의 신뢰성을 확보하는데 궁극적인 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 최근 2년 동안 일선 소방관서에서 실시한 현장방염처리 물품에 대한 방염성능검사 실적을 토대로 최근에 사용되는 인테리어 마감자재 및 현장방염처리 경향에 대한 분석을 하였다. 또한 현장방염처리물품에 대한 성능검사 방법 및 절차, 방염처리업 등록제도의 문제점 등을 분석하여 현 실정에 적합한 방염성능검사 방법 및 성능검사의 신뢰성 확보를 위한 개선방안을 제시하고자 하였다.

  • Intumescent coating system for fire resistance has undesirable weaknesses that fire resistance performance of steel members is being deteriorated due to cracks and falling-offs of the coverings as time goes after completion of the coverings to the members. This study is designed to understand changes in durability of intumescent coating system through follow-up tests on bond strength and thickness for the domestic intumescent coating system.

플래즈머용사에 의한 세라믹 코팅 강재의 음향방출 특성 (Acoustic Emission Characteristics of Ceramic Coated Steel by Plasma Spraying)

  • This paper is investigated of hardness and adhesiveness of plasma sprayed coating steels by AE(Acoustic Emission) testing when loading a tensile. AE Parameters used are Event, Count, Energy and Amplitude. Test specimens are carbon steel(S45C) with sprayed coating layers of Ni-4.5wt.%Al(bond coating) and $TiO_2$(top coating), and carry out heat treatment at $800^{\circ}C\;and\;1000^{\circ}C$, respectively. The micro-hardness of the heat treatment specimen have been improved more than that of non-heat treatment. On the tensile test, the process and occurence of the exfoliation of the sprayed coating layer can be estimated by AE Characteristics of AE parameters, such as event, count, amplitude and energy, on the layer exfoliation are shown the similar aspects. The exfoliation of bond coating occure at about 20% of strain and top coating is about 5% of strain.

내화도료 내구성 평가 방법 설정에 관한 연구 (The Research for the Establishment of Test Method of Durability on Intumescent Coating System)

  • 현재 철골부재의 내화성능 확보를 위해서 다양한 내화피복방법이 적용되고 있으며, 따라서 이중 하나가 내화도료 피복 시스템의 적용이다. 하지만 내화도료 시스템의 경우 시공후 시간경과에 따라 균열, 탈락 등에 의한 내구성 저하 및 이에 따른 내화성능 상실의 우려가 있으며, 이에 따라 건축 설계 및 시공 초기에 시간경과에 따른 내구성 변화를 파악하여 이에 대비할 수 있는 평가방법 및 유지관리 등에 대한고려가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 시간경과에 따른 내화도료의 내구성 평가 및 이에 대한 관리방안을 제시하기 위하여 영국을 비롯한 기타 국가의 관련 자료를 조사하여 국내에 적용할 수 있는 내화도료 내구성 평가방법 및 유지관리에 필요한 기초 자료를 제시하도록 하였다.

  • It is well known that smoother surface in substrate for coating or converting can obtain better results. Generally paper substrate is taking machine calendar process in papermaking system to give more uniformity and to get better coating runnability. This paper was prepared to find better idea for obtaining smoother surface after precalendering precoated paper as a substrate of double coating system. It was shown precalendering had effect on roughness improvement for precoating layer but was difficult to say it was effected to supercalendering results for double coating. The porosity and ink evaluation with precalendered double coated paper is needed to identify more essential clue for precalendering effect.

조종실 온도 영향성 검증을 위한 캐노피 투명체 코팅 연구 (The Canopy Transparency Coating Study of Cockpit Temperature Effect Verification)

  • Under the non-operating exposure condition in the hot area, the T-50 cockpit temperature is expected over the requirement according to T-50 environmental criteria. So it is necessary to protect the cockpit from the high temperature condition during the non-operating exposure because the high temperature of the cockpit may result in the cockpit equipment malfunction. In this study, the transparency coating is selected as the method for protecting the cockpit from the high temperature exposure and analyzed the effect on the cockpit heat load attenuation. Some kinds of cockpit coating were reviewed and selected and the analysis was performed about the effect before and after coating application under 1% hot day condition based on the T-50 FSD hot soaking test data. The result of analysis show transparency coating is so effective to attenuate the heat load of T-50 cockpit.

시멘트 사일로의 적분생성억제 (Suppression of Coating Formation in Cement Silo)

  • The object of this research is to prevent the industrial accidents which frequently occurred in breaking the coating in cement silo. Research was conducted to identify the cause of the coating formation, and the model experiment of aeration system was done to investigate the effect of moisture air on the coating formation. The results show that dehumidification of supply air in aeration system is the most important factor to suppress the coating formation, and the refrigerated low pressure air dryer applicable to the aeration system of cement silo was newly designed and developed. When this air dryer is applied to the cement silo, 88% of the moisture component of supply air can be reduced. Therefore the cleaning cycle extends over twice, and it contributes to the decrease of industrial accidents and cleaning cost.

  • The most controversial topics in plasma sprayed ceramic coating system are recently mechanical properties such as bond strength, cohesive strength, toughness and so on. Determination of bond strength of coatings is one of the most important problems. In the industry, the bond strength of coating system has been estimated by Pull-off test(ASTM standard C633-79). But, without a fixed jig and specimen, it is impossible to obtain the bond strength. Therefore, it is necessary to study the critical fracture load on interface of the coating by indentation test. Because the critical fracture load plays an important role in evaluating the bond strength for plasma sprayed ceramic coating system. So, we have estimated critical fracture load in plasma sprayed ceramic coating system, and it was shown that inverse relationship between the cross-section hardness of coating and the critical fracture load(Pc). In case of the high load(1kgf, 2kgf) in $Al_{2}O_{3}+13%TiO_{2}$, it was found that the critical point(Pco), which the coating was broken on.

DLC (ta-C) 후막코팅을 위한 트라이볼로지 코팅 연구 (Tribology Coating Study of Thick DLC (ta-C) Film)

  • In recent years, thick ta-C coating has attracted considerable interest owing to its existing and potential commercial importance in applications such as automobile accessories, drills, and gears. The thickness of the ta-C coating is an important parameter in these applications. However, the biggest problems are achieving efficient coating and uniformity over a large area with high-speed deposition. Feasibility is confirmed for the ta-C coating thickness of up to 9.0 µm (coating speed: 3.0 µm/h, fixed substrate) using a single FCVA cathode. The thickness was determined using multiple coating cycles that were controlled using substrate temperature and residual stresses. In the present research, we have designed a coating system using FCVA plasma and produced enhanced thick ta-C coating. The system uses a specialized magnetic field configuration with stabilized DC arc plasma discharge during deposition. To achieve quality that is acceptable for use in automobile accessories, the magnetic field, T-type filters, and 10 pieces of a multi-cathode are used to demonstrate the deposition of the thick ta-C coating. The results of coating performance indicate that uniformity is ±7.6 , deposited area is 400 mm, and the thickness of the ta-C coating is up to 5.0 µm (coating speed: 0.3 µm/h, revolution and rotation). The hardness of the coating ranges from 30 to 59 GPa, and the adhesion strength level (HF1) ranges from 20 to 60 N, depending on the ta-C coating.

컴퓨터 해석을 통한 Slot 코팅공정에서 운전방향의 코팅품질 평가 및 다이 설계 (Coater Die Design and Coating Quality Evaluation in the Machine Direction of Slot Coating Through Computer Simulation)

  • 슬롯코팅은 평판 디스플레이의 부품을 위해 유리에 감광제를 코팅방법으로 많이 쓰이고 있다. 갈수록 고화질의 디스플레이가 요구됨에 따라 코팅의 고품질도 요구되고 있다. 슬롯코팅에서 코팅의 품질은 노즐방향의 코팅 균일성과 운전방향의 코팅 균일성으로 평가된다. 노즐방향의 코팅 균일성은 코터다이 내부의 설계에 의존되며 운전방향의 코팅 균일성은 코터다이 외부의 모양과 운전조건에 의존된다. 본 연구에서는 스롯코팅에서 운전방향의 코팅 균일성에 대해서 컴퓨터해석을 통하여 조사하였다. 해석에서 다이 외부의 형상으로 다이 립 각도와 길이를 변수로 하였고, 운전조건으로는 코팅속도를 변수로 하여 코팅 현상을 분석하고 코팅의 품질을 평가하였다. 코팅속도가 커질수록 코팅두께가 얇아지며 코팅의 균일성이 증대되었으나 maniscus형성이 불안정하여 코팅의 안정성은 감소되었다. Down stream 다이 립 각도가 커질수록 코팅두께의 편차는 작아졌으며, Down stream 다이 립 길이가 길수록 코팅 두께는 얇아졌고 안정적인 코팅이 이루어지기까지의 시간이 길어졌다.
