  • In this paper. to eliminate a cross-polarization interference caused by co-channel dual polarization technique of digital radio relay system(DRRS), a cross-polarization interference canceller(XPIC) is analysed in terms of the analytical modeling, digital design, and its performance. By virtue of a 13-tap adaptive equalizer and XPIC, about 23dB in XPIC improvement can be obtained by computer simulation. To show the operation of designed XPIC, some simulated results are reviewed under 64-QAM DRRS with co -channel dual Polarization.

  • In this paper A switched mode AC/DC three phase boost converter with high power factor and sinusoidal input current waveform is analyzed and simulated. The proposed converter retain high power factor and sinusoidal input current waveform even under electric arc welder load. It is shown that experimental result and simulation waveform yield a sinusoidal input current waveform at high power factor.

  • In order to simplify the offline identification of induction motor parameters, a method based on optimization using a Tabu Search algorithm is proposed. The Tabu Search algorithm is used to minimize the error between the actual data and an estimated model. The robustness of the method is shown by identifying parameters of the induction motor in three different cases. The simulation results show that the method successfully estimates the motor parameters.

  • The problem that we address is to determine the inventory stockage levels in a multi-echelon inventory system for repairable items in a multi-indenture system. We propose the simulation optimization approach to determine the stockage levels at each echelon, where a simulator for the underlying system is combined with an appropriate optimization tool, Genetic Algorithm (GA).

  • It is greatly important to understand the mechanics of AFM-based nanorobotic manipulation for efficient and reliable handling of nanoparticles.   • Vehicle simulators provide an effective and safe environment for training operators. Many vehicle simulators have been developed but only a few have reached the stage of widely available tools; these tools are usually expensive and run on workstations only We have developed a low-cost, PC-based excavator simulator for training operators. Currently the simulator is dedicated to operating the boom, Em, bucket, and driver's cabin for digging by the action of the operator on two joysticks. This paper presents the implementation of the excavator simulator and some implementation results.
