The purpose of this study was to examine the point at issue unfitness and unclassification in figures for clothing construction. Comparing measurements of 3 sold figures and physical body by Suck·Go method and 19 items were selected. These items were acquired by factor analysis and cluster analysis an measurements of 200 women in twenties. The results were as follows; 1. Comparison between measurement of figures and physical body; There was not so much difference among figures, but significant difference between figures and physical body. 2. Comparison between measurement of surface area of figures and physical body; There was similar to each figure, but significant difference between figures and physical body. Mostly, figures were bigger than physical body in front parts but smaller in back parts. 3. There were 8 items selected by factor analysis; That is bust girth, waist girth, hip girth, neck base girth, posterior waist length, bust point length, chest breadth and armscye girth. 4. There were 7 clusters selected by cluster analysis.
In the present investigation, some cluster analyses were done for each population of the native honeybee workers(Apis cerana), which were selected for 15 different localities in spring and 16 in summer from Korea. In this analysis, the seasonal segregation was perfectly revealed by both Ward's and the average linkage between groups methods, whereas, it did not necessarily revealed any systematic relationship between geographical groups.
The purpose of study is to analyze the spatial population distribution and accessibility of network in urban areas. This study examines the forty-six political subdivision cities in Korea at the end of 1983, except the four metrpolitans (Seoul, Pusan, Daeku and Incheon). Evaluation indexes are classified the spatial pupulation distribution and accessibility of network. To analyze the cities, 10 indexes and the statistical techniques such as descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, factor analysis and cluster analysis were used. According to the results of cluster analysis, 15 cities (Ulsasn, Suwon, Bucheon, Chungju and etc.) are classified dispersed cities and another 15 cities (Kwangju, Daejun, Sungnam, Mokpo and etc.) are classified concentrated cities.

Initial cluster size for clustering of partitioning methods is very important to the clustering result. In K-means algorithm, the result of cluster analysis becomes different with optimal cluster size K. Usually, the initial cluster size is determined by prior and subjective information. Sometimes this may not be optimal. Now, more objective method is needed to solve this problem. In our research, we propose a hybrid genetic algorithm, a tree induction based evolution algorithm, for determination of optimal cluster size. Initial population of this algorithm is determined by the number of terminal nodes of tree induction. From the initial population based on decision tree, our optimal cluster size is generated. The fitness function of ours is defined an inverse of dissimilarity measure. And the bagging approach is used for saying computational time cost.
Aparallel computing environment was constructed based on Windows 2000 operating system. This cluster was configured using Fast-Ethernet system to hold up together the clients within a network domain. For the parallel computation, MPI implements for Windows such as MPICH.NT.1.2.2 and MP-MPICHNT.1.2 were used with Compaq Visual Fortran compiler which produce a well optimized executives for x86 systems. The evaluation of this cluster performance was carried out using a preconditioned Navier-Stokes code for the 2D analysis of a compressible and viscous flow around a compressor blade. The parallel performance was examined in comparison with those of Linux clusters studied previously by changing a number of processors, problem size and MPI libraries. The result from the test problems presents that parallel performance of the low cost Fast-Ethernet Windows cluster is superior to that of a Linux cluster of similar configuration and is comparable to that of a Myrinet cluster.
Abell 115 is a renowned cluster merger at z=0.197. It exhibits an asymmetric X-ray distribution with cometary tails and a megaparsec-sized radio relic stretching in the northeastern direction from the core of the northern cluster. Many observations have concluded that this cluster merger has a large impact parameter, but there has been no numerical analysis on the structure of Abell 115. In this study, we simulate Abell 115 with Gadget2 N-body/SPH code to reproduce the X-ray and weak lensing features of Abell 115. We find a new plausible merger scenario of Abell 115, wherein the northern cluster is currently in an outgoing phase. The predicted X-ray emission has a similar morphology to the observed tail of the northern cluster. However, in order to reproduce the observed line-of-sight velocity and projected distance while maintaining the two systems gravitationally bound, the system should possess a large projection angle, which makes the shock look considerably more diffused than the observed radio relic.
The advent of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) has led to their use in numerous applications. Sensors are autonomous in nature and are constrained by limited resources. Designing an autonomous topology with criteria for economic and energy conservation is considered a major goal in WSN. The proposed honey-hive clustering consumes minimum energy and resources with minimal transmission delay compared to the existing approaches. The honey-hive approach consists of two phases. The first phase is an Intra-Cluster Min-Max Discrepancy (ICMMD) analysis, which is based on the local honey-hive data gathering technique and the second phase is Inter-Cluster Frequency Matching (ICFM), which is based on the global optimal data aggregation. The proposed data aggregation mechanism increases the optimal connectivity range of the sensor node to a considerable degree for inter-cluster and intra-cluster coverage with an improved optimal energy conservation.
Structure in the universe forms hierarchically with the small scales forming first and merging into larger scales. Galaxy clusters are at the pinnacle of the formation process. Peering far into the universe, we can observe galaxy clusters early in their evolution. SpARCSJ1049+56 is a galaxy cluster located at a redshift of 1.71. It has been shown to be rich in cluster galaxies, to have intense star formation, and to have a significant amount of molecular gas. Through careful control of systematics, we detected the weak-lensing signal from this distant galaxy cluster. I will present our HST infrared weak-lensing detection of the cluster with a focus on the method. Our lensing analysis found that the cluster is massive and is rare in a LambdaCDM universe. I will also present the Chandra X-ray discovery of cold gas coincident with the intense star formation and discuss the implications of the detection.

The study aims to propose a locating method of green space for reducing Particulate Matter (PM) in ambient air in conjunction with its source traces and vulnerable groups. In order to carry out the aims and purposes, a literature review was conducted to derive indicators of vulnerable area to PM. Based on the developed indicators, the vulnerable areas and green spaces creation strategies for each cluster were developed for the case of Seongdong-gu, Seoul. As a result, six indicators for vulnerability analysis were came out including the vulnerable groups (children's facilities, old people's facilities), emission sources (air pollutant emission workplaces, roads), and environmental indicators (particulate matter concentration, NDVI). According to the six selected indicators, the target area was divided into 39 hexagons and analyzed to result the most vulnerable areas to particulate matter. As a result of comprehensive vulnerability analysis, the Seongsu-dong area was found to be the most vulnerable to particulate matter, and 5 clusters were derived through k-means cluster analysis. Cluster 1 was analyzed as areas that most vulnerable to particulate matter as a result of the comprehensive analysis, therefore urgent need to create green spaces to reduce particulate matter. Cluster 2 was areas that mostly belonged to the Han River. Cluster 3 corresponds to the largest number of hexagons, and since many vulnerable groups are distributed, it was analyzed as a cluster that required the creation of a green spaces to reduce particulate matter, focusing on facilities for vulnerable groups. Three hexagons are included in cluster 4, and the cluster has many roads and lacks vegetation in common. Cluster 5 has a lot of green spaces and is generally distributed with fewer vulnerable groups and emission sources; however, it has a high level of particulate matter concentration. In a situation where various green spaces creation projects for reducing particulate are being implemented, it is necessary to consider the vulnerable groups and emission sources and to present green space creation strategies for each space characteristic in order to increase the effectiveness of such projects. Therefore, this study is regarded as meaningful in suggesting a method for selecting a green area for reducing PM.

This study investigated the relationships among middle school students' understanding about the nature of scientific knowledge, conceptual understanding, and learning strategies. Grade 7 students (N=162) in Incheon completed the nature of scientific knowledge scales (NSKS) and a learning strategy questionnaire. After learning density by way of a CAl program, a conception test was administered. Results indicated that students' conceptual understanding and both deep and surface learning strategies were significantly correlated to their understanding about the nature of scientific knowledge. A cluster analysis was used to classify students on the basis of their deep and surface learning strategies. Three clusters of students with distinctive learning strategy patterns were found; high deep-low surface strategy (cluster 1), low deep-high surface strategy (cluster 2), and high deep-high surface strategy (cluster 3). One-way ANOVA results revealed that the scores of cluster 3 were significantly higher than those of the others in the NSKS and the conception test. Additionally, cluster 1 also performed better than cluster 2 in the conception test. Lastly, educational implications were discussed.
