  • In this paper, in order to compose the visual perception cognitive function training content that can be linked with the IPUZZLE image block, an interactive content device that utilizes photos and videos of smartphones. Four areas of visual memory, visual continuity, spatial relationship, and visual discrimination were derived and the content operation, application method, and scenario were written. It was intended to continuously give and induce children's desire to participate in training by designing the content image and developing the existing learning terrain visual and perceptual cognitive function training materials in the form of mobile mini-games. Experiential activities were conducted for general children and their guardians using the developed contents, and the results were found to be significant in terms of concentration, effect, and effect compared to basic puzzle toys. It is expected that this thesis will be a meaningful data for the study of cognitive function improvement activities based on digital toys and contents.

  • One of the critical themes in the language acquisition is its exposure to linguistic environments. Linguistic environments, which interact with infants, include not only human beings such as its parents but also artificially crafted linguistic media as their functioning elements. An infant learns a language by exploring these extensive language environments around it. Based on such large linguistic data exposure, we propose a machine learning based method on the cognitive mechanism that simulate flexibly and appropriately infant's language learning. The infant's initial stage of language learning comes with sentence learning and creation, which can be simulated by exposing it to a language corpus. The core of the simulation is a memory-based learning model which has language hypernetwork structure. The language hypernetwork simulates developmental and progressive language learning using the structure of new data stream through making it representing of high level connection between language components possible. In this paper, we simulates an infant's gradual and developmental learning progress by training language hypernetwork gradually using 32,744 sentences extracted from video scripts of commercial animation movies for children.

  • With using the 4th and 5th wave of KLoSA(Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging), this study analyzed the effect of the factors of Rowe and Kahn's successful aging model on the life satisfaction of older adults. The target population of this study was 1,385 who is older than 65. As data analysis, hierarchical multiple regression was used. The variables such as demographics, avoiding diseases and disability, high cognitive and physical function and engagement with life, relationship with adult children were entered hierarchically for the regression analysis. Since there are differences of longevity by gender, the difference of factors of successful aging were compared by marital status. In this study (besides Rowe and Kahn's successful aging model such as avoiding disease and disability, high cognitive and physical function, and engagement with life), the relationships with adult children were analyzed additionally. Findings show that married older adults were older and reside with their adult children twice more than those who do not have a spouse. According to research results, regular exercise and memory skills were important factors of affecting life satisfaction. Among the categories of active engagement, meeting with friends, relatives and neighbors were significant. Contact with their adult children by mail or phone were the most important factors affecting the older adults' life satisfaction. The three parts of successful aging were various depending on the operationalization of variables.

  • This study examined the correlation between the rhythm reproduction performance and cognitive function of school-aged children. A total of 59 third grade elementary students participated in this study. An iPad-based rhythm reproduction task, the Digit Span Test (DST), the Children's Color Trails Test (CCTT), and a self-paced tapping task via a MIDI keyboard were conducted for each participant. The results demonstrated that scores at each stage of the iPad-based rhythm reproduction test showed different patterns of correlation with cognitive function test scores. This result suggests that accuracy of a simple rhythm task is correlated to speed of self-paced tapping (second). Also cognitive function may affect rhythm grouping ability. Results of this analysis for each of 20 rhythm items showed that there was a common rhythm characteristics that correlated with executive function, working memory or self-paced tapping speed. These results indicate that rhythm ability is related to, and predictive of, the level of cognitive functioning in elementary school students and can be used as an useful parameter when examining cognitive function of school-aged children in multifaceted dimensions.

  • In this paper, the transmission and the phases of the memories in the novels dealing with Vietnam War have been studied. As a research method, Aleida Assmann's memory theory which plays a role in culturoloy theory is utilized. This study shows firstly that the others' voices excluded from the official memories of Vietnam War have emerged. Vietnam War novels released after 1990s actively reflecting the others' voices transmitted fresh the cultural memories. As the stories of civilian massacre, defoliant victims, and children of mixed bloods, Lai Daihan excluded from the official memories have emerged as a main them in the Vietnam War novels, they have become resistant memories. Existence and Formality, a Vietnam War novel by Bang Hyeonsuk brings up how to remember Vietnam War. His another novel, Time to Eat Lobster shows that without the fundamental retrospect and introspection of Vietnam War, Korea can't help but have the identity of America. Secondly, this paper shows that the tragedy of Vietnam War remains as a trauma that human bodies remember. White War by Ahn Jeonghyo shows that the memory moves back to the past in the process of struggle. In the novel, Slow Bullet by Lee Daehwan the phases of demage from defoliants lead to the family's tragedy. The Red Ao Dai by O Hyeonmi shows how a Korean-Vietnamese overcomes negation of his father and win his identity. In A Sad Song in Saigon shows that a mixed blood, Sairang who suffered from the confusion of his identity and his story fell down to a romance novel because of the weakness of narrative.

  • The plant is used in India as well as several countries since several centuries for treating different types of ailments. The plant is an important constituent of the Ayurvedic Materia Medica and finds mention in several ancient texts including Caraka Sanhita ($6^{th}$ century A.D.) and the Bhavprakasa ($16^{th}$ century A.D.). The scientific studies on this plant have reported several activities of this plant. Though the plant has cardiotonic, vasoconstrictor, sedative, neuro-muscular blocking, and anticancer activities, it is more popular as memory enhancer. Traditionally, a poultice made of the boiled plant is placed on the chest in acute bronchitis and coughs of children. The plant contains saponins: bacosides A and B, hersaponin, sapogenins: bacogenin $A_{1}$, $A_{2}$, and $A_{3}$ stigmasterol, and flavonoids: luteolin and luteolin-7 glucoside, nicotine, brahmine, and herpestine. This review focuses on the scientific data published since 1931.

  • This paper focuses on three novels that reflect absence of family. Conflicts caused by absence of parents or lack of function and role of parents were principle drivers fueling growth novels. In Chinese growth novels, children in a long-standing tradition of emulsion and political pressure were unable to express their conflict with parents. Out of the collective interest and only until the late 1980s, which can be found of the individuals were able to fully appreciate the growth of children. Since the late 1990s, the creative individual cases to the growth is an important point of Chinese growth. Due to a close relationship of the literature and politics further noteworthy that the growth of state for personal growth for China's growth. Reform and opening up the end of the Cultural Revolution, the emergence of new generation of cultural sensitivity with a relatively free personal attention to the growth of the chance that can be. In this paper, created since the 1990s, the growth of the stories of yuhua (余華)'s "Cry in the Rain"("在細雨中呼喊"), sutong(蘇童)'s "The Northern Part of the City"("城北地帶"), wanggang(王剛)'s "English"("英格力士"), going to go through by focusing on how to respond in the lack of family. "Cry in the Rain" shows that a consciousness orphan child abandoned main actors 'consciousness from his birth parents and adoptive parents. "The Northern Part of the City" chronicles different growth stories of children who experienced a void because of their absent families and found comfort in peer groups. "English" is distinguished from the mainstream narrative of Chinese growth in terms of creating a role model. Individual growth through the role model in that it will eventually establish their own identities and further growth. Because of that, this novel is considered best practices of Chinese growth novels. This kind of narrative, which returns to the memory of the growth of growth, has a richer connotation amid various attempts by writers out of the past era of obsession and fatigue.
