The purpose of this study was to investigate impact mother's personality and children's educational experience on children's intelligence. Subjects were 90 children and their mothers in Daejeon, Korea. The main results of this study were as follows; First, there were significant differences between the children's intelligence and mother's educational level and family income. Second, there were significant difference between children's intelligence and mother's personality. Third, there was significant difference between children's intelligence and children's early educational experience. Fourth, the influenced variables on children's intelligence were mother's educational level, early educational experience, and educational experience with parent and child at home.
This study was performed to reveal the effects of a science experience class, in which children of low-income family(LIF) were involved. The children's science inquiry skills, science-related attitude, self-esteem and self-competence were investigated before and after the science experience class. Not only 61 children in LIF but also 75 ordinary ones participated in the class and the tests to collect the data, and interviews in which 9 children of each group participated were conducted as well. The results are as follows. First, through the science experience class, the children in LIF's average point of science inquiry skills increased meaningfully, but ordinary children's did not. Second, the science attitude's points of both increased meaningfully. Third, the children in LIF's average self-esteem point increased meaningfully, but the ordinary group's did not. Fourth, the children in LIF' self-competence increased meaningfully, but the other's did not. The children from both groups were influenced positively by the science experience class. Especially, compared with ordinary children, the children in LIF who have fewer chances of science experience than other children were more positively influenced m every aspect of this study.
This study aimed to evaluate various factors related to cooperation levels in pediatric dentistry and determine their correlation with children's cooperation during dental treatments. This study included one hundred children and their guardians who visited the dental hospital at the Chonnam National University. Children and their guardians completed surveys regarding dental fear, dental caries experience, dental treatment experience, temperament, and guardians' dental anxiety, as well as the background characteristics of the children. Based on these data, factors associated with children's cooperation during dental treatment were investigated. Dental fear, caries experience during the primary and mixed dentition stages, and temperament traits such as shyness and negative emotionality significantly impacted children's cooperation during dental visits, with higher levels of these factors corresponding to lower cooperation. The extent of dental experience also modestly influenced children's cooperation, with higher levels of cooperation observed in children with greater dental experience. Additionally, children's dental fear was strongly correlated with guardians' dental anxiety, increasing as guardians' anxiety levels increased. Twelve-year-old children exhibited significantly lower levels of dental fear compared to other age groups, and regardless of cooperation levels, injections (shots) were identified as the primary factor inducing dental fear among the children. To improve children's cooperation in pediatric dentistry, strategies should focus on alleviating their fears and adopting an individualized approach that consider their oral health status and temperamental traits.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in children's daily experience and school adjustment of elementary school according to children's gender and self-care and to explore the relationship between children's daily experience and school adjustment. Data were collected from the NYPI panel survey of 2010. The data were analyzed by means of Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ tests, means, standard deviations, Two-way ANOVAs, and Pearson's Correlation. The results of this study were as follows : 1. There were some significant differences by gender and self-care in daily experience. Girls spent more time in watching TV but less time in games than boys. And self-care children spent less time in learning and reading, but more time in game and TV watching. Also there was a interaction effect of learning experience by gender and self-care. 2. There were some significant differences by gender and self-care in school adjustment. Girls showed more positive school adjustment than boys. And children who are cared for by their parents showed more positive learning and school rule adjustment. 3. There were some significant relationship between children's daily experience and school adjustment.
This study has the purpose to review the way of experience element and property of space design appearing in vocational experience space and accumulate basic study material for children's vocational experience space and build systematic and specialized modules. Analysing the marketing elements of experience space through pilot research to arrange frame of analysis, and in a determined range, experimental marketing's property appearing in children's vocational experience center is analysed. This researcher analysed experimental displaying space's function of recognition, emotional, behavior, sense marketing and experimental marketing induced from pilot research on space design expressive elements of experimental marketing when it is applied to spaces through the frame of analysis with the combination of total 8 kind's experience display space function such as investigative, conceptional, aesthetic, entertaining, logical, relative, participating, and comprehensive experience based on 5 vocational experience spaces located in Seoul and Gyeonggi, opened after 2010, being operated at present with more than 500 pyeong (about 1,650 square meter) and targeted for children, after this researcher visited the site directly to make check list with the frame of analysis together with the staff and administrator in charge of vocational experience education. As a conclusion, vocational experience center is a space of edutainment helping children experience various profession more easily to find their interest and to bring up their dream. By analysing current vocational experience center through the element called experimental marketing, current status of vocational experience center could be known. the experience itself in vocational experience center becomes a merchandise. Instead of mere experience, so as to get professional experience and new information, new experiences should be provided by incessant variation and development. This study is to build basic research data for children's vocational experience space, however not only drawing specialty of vocational experience center through the connection of enterprises based on the contents arranged above but also systematic and specialized modules are expected to be built in next researches.
This study examined how school-age children's peer acceptance and friendship experience were related to their psychosocial adjusment. Peer acceptance was examined in terms of sociometric status and social preference, and the friendship experience was examined in terms of the reciprocity of best friendship. The subjects were 275 children in the 4th or 5th grades. It was found that sociometric status and the reciprocity of best friendship were significant predictors of the level of loneliness that children experienced. Interaction between children's social preference score and the reciprocity of best friendship was also a significant predictor of the children's experience of loneliness. That is, the degree to which children are accepted by their peer group predicts the level of loneliness that children experience, but the strength of the prediction depends on whether the children have reciprocal best friends. Is for children's self-esteem in relation with sociometric status and the reciprocity of best friendship, only sociometric status was significant predictor of children's self-esteem. However, interaction between social preference and the reciprocity of best friendship was a significant predictor of children's self-esteem. This finding suggests that the degree to which children are accepted by their peer group predicts the level of children's self-esteem, and the strength of the prediction depends on whether the children have reciprocal best friends.
The purpose or this study was to examine the effect or maternal parenting experience, mediated by maternal depression, marital conflict, and parenting behavior, on school children's maladjustment. The theoretical model was specified and estimated. Subject of this study consisted of 637 mothers having elementary students(from 5th to 6th grade) drawn from 4 elementary schools in Cheong-ju city. Maternal parenting experience in childhood had an indirect effect on school children's maladjustment mediated by maternal depression. Maternal permissive parenting experience had more strong relationship with maternal depression rather than authoritative parenting behavior. Maternal depression, marital conflict, parenting behavior were directly effected on school children's maladjustment. Maternal depression were significantly effected on children's maladjustment indirectly mediated by marital conflict and parenting behavior Maternal depression was the most important factor predicting marital conflict, parenting behavior, and school children's Maladjustment.
The purpose of this study was to investigate how young children recognize the image of robots, and how they understand the relationship between themselves and robots based on school experience. 20 children from kindergarten A had no direct experience with educational robots, whereas 20 children from kindergarten B had experience in using educational robots in their classroom. Total 40 children from age group 5 class participated in this study. We collected data using interview and drawing test. The findings of the study are as follows: First, participating children recognized robots as having both the character of a machine and a human. But children with previous robot experience provided description of robots as a machine-tool. Both groups were not able to explain the structure of robots in details. Second, participating children understood that they can develop a range of social relationships with robots, including simple help to family replacement. There were mixed views on robots among the children with previous experience, but children with no experience described robots as taking the role of peers or family members. These findings could contribute to the development of robots and related programs in the field of early childhood education.
The purposes of this study are to analyze the degree of satisfaction on forest experience among children, based on a survey of teachers and parents who lead them, and to make proposals based upon the findings. The survey was performed in forest experience for children at Apsan Park in Daegu. The results are as follows. First, there were 78 respondents comprising 34 teachers, 39 parents, and 5 others. The teachers' age groups were distributed evenly between the 20s and 40s and parents' 51.3% were in their 30s and 46.2% in their 40s. Second, all participants responded that forest experience is necessary for children. 80.8% of respondents required continually additional construction. Specifically, parents insisted that forest experience for children should be built up more than the teachers did. Third, as a result of the management and program satisfaction of forest experience for children, 38.5% of respondents wanted increased access and another 38.5% desired unlimited access. In addition, the older teachers preferred more flexible access. Fourth, the safe facility topped the list of the four facilities ranked by importance with 0.39 points, followed by the learning experience field, the shelter facility, and the discretional facility. This study aims to build up basic data in order to make and practically manage forest experiences for children. Therefore, through continuous research, forest experience for children should be established as a practical experience spaces for children.

This study aimed to determine whether there is a significant difference in play properties in the case of media conversion through the combination of analog three-dimensional puzzles and immersive media in children's experience. Based on Roger Caillois' play theory and the contents of previous research, an experience was conducted on an experimental group and control group, and a questionnaire was prepared. The results of the correlation and paired t-test analysis showed that the play properties were higher and more evenly distributed in the media conversion immersive experience. This implies that an increase in children's fun during the immersive experience further increases their immersion, suggesting that the use of immersive media may have a positive effect on children who achieve holistic development through play and experience. We hope that this study will help recognize the difference in effectiveness through conversion into immersive media and will be referenced in various media studies that consider double-play properties.
