복분자 착즙액을 첨가한 복분자편의 품질 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Quality Characteristics of Bokbunja-Pyun Added with Rubi Fruit Juice)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the quality characteristics of Bokbunja-Pyun, using various levels of Rubi fruit juice (0%, 4%, 6% and 8%). The chemical composition and physical characteristics of Bokbunja and Bokbunja-Pyun were analyzed and sensory evaluation was conducted. The statistical data analyses were completed using the SPSS program. The chemical components of Bokbunja were moisture 89.2%, sweetness 9.8 Brix%, pH 3.77, citric acid 8.98%, and vitamin C 26mg. The L-value of Bokbunja-Pyun was significantly decreased (p<0.001), but a- and b-values were increased with increasing Rubi fruit juice content (p<0.001). Among the mechanical characteristic, the hardness was the highest on R2 ($470{\pm}82.67$), the adhesiveness on R3 ($-5.00{\pm}1.0$), the cohesiveness on R4 ($99.22{\pm}6.95$) and the gumminess on R1 ($167.9{\pm}49.8$). The springiness was notsignificantly different between these groups. From the sensory evaluation, appearance, hardness, and flavor showed no significant variation, but transparency, elasticity, and overall quality were significantly different between the test groups. It was concluded that the optimum content of added of Rubi fruit juice was 6%, in proportion to the total weight.

충남 및 전북지역의 왕우렁이 생태 연구 (A Study on the Ecology of the Golden Apple Snail, Pomacea canaliculata (Lamark) in Chungnam and Jeonbuk Province of Korea)

  • 왕우렁이(Pomacea canaliculata)는 1983년에 식용으로 일본에서 한국으로 도입된 외래종으로서, 농업에서 벼의 직파 논의 잠재적인 해충이다. 본 연구에서는 해충화되고 있는 왕우렁이의 생육특성과 충남 및 전북지역에서의 월동생태를 구명하였고, 또한 농수로에서 수생식물과 수질에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 자연수로에서 조사결과를 보면 왕우렁이가 높은 밀도로 서식하는 수로에서는 왕우렁이가 서식하지 않을 경우에 많았던 검정말, 붕어마름, 개구리밥, 좀개구리밥 등의 수생식물들이 발견되지 않았다. 폐쇄형 인공수조실험에서는 왕우렁이가 수생식물들을 먹이로 섭식하면서 이들 식물들을 제거하고, 수질 지표인 EC, COD, T-N 및 T-P을 높이는 것으로 나타났다.

유기물 시용에 의한 벼논에서의 양분 유출경감 (Reduction of Nutrient Infiltration by Supplement of Organic Matter in Paddy Soil)

  • 상수원 보호지역내 하상충적토, 사력질의 벼 재배 논에서 표준시비, 농가관행시비, 우분, 우분퇴비, 볏짚퇴비+화학비료감비, 볏짚환원+표준시비 그리고 무비구의 7 처리를 하여 벼 재배 과정 동안 비료성분의 지하 용탈특성을 조사, 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 관정수중의 질산태 질소의 농도는 인근 농경지로부터 시비질소의 유입이 시작된 이앙일에는 $1.3mg\;l^{-1}$, 물떼기 이후에는 $0.4mg\;l^{-1}$로 낮았으나 벼생육기에는 $4{\sim}6mg\;l^{-1}$로서 상대적으로 높은 농도를 유지하였다. 벼 재배기간 동안 침출수 중 질산태 질소의 농도는 농가관행구가 가장 높았으나 최고 농도는 $7.1mg\;l^{-1}$로서 음용수의 질산태 질소 한계농도인 $10mg\;l^{-1}$보다 낮았다. 표준시비, 농가관행, 퇴비+화학비료 감비, 볏짚환원+표준시비, 우분, 우분퇴비, 무비구의 벼 재배기간중 질소의 총 투입량은 각각 163, 202, 181, 224, 147, 153, $44kg\;ha^{-1}$이었으며 처리별 질소의 지하 용탈량은 각각 59, 63, 25, 41, 24, 27, $17kg\;ha^{-1}$로서 퇴비+화학비료 감비나 우분이나 우분퇴비로서 화학비료를 대체한 처리는 표준시비나 농가관행 시비구에 비교하여 질소의 지하 용탈을 50%나 줄일 수 있었으며 볏짚환원+표준시비구는 화학비료만 시용한 표준시비구에 비교하여 투입된 질소의 양은 많았지만 지하 용탈량은 30%나 적었다. 또한 화학비료만 사용한 표준시비구나 농가관행구를 제외한 나머지 유기물 시용구에서는 관개수로 논에 곰급된 질소의 양보다 논으로부터 지하로 용탈된 질소양이 $13-46kg\;ha^{-1}y^{-1}$나 적어 화학비료와 함께 유기물을 투입하거나 우분이나 우분퇴비로서 질소비료를 대체한 경우 벼농사는 수질 오염보다는 오히려 질소성분을 $13-46kg\;ha^{-1}y^{-1}$나 정화하는 공익적 기능이 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 조사기간 동안 전처리구의 침출수와 관정수에서 인산은 검출되지 않았으며, 칼리는 화학비료 시용량이 많은 추천시비구에서 공급량의 약 57%가 용탈되었고 유기물 처리에 의해 칼리의 용탈량을 크게 감소시킬 수 있었다. 이상의 결과를 통해 벼 재배기간 중 기존의 화학비료 위주의 시비체계에서 축산분뇨등을 효율적으로 이용함으로서 화학비료의 사용량을 줄이거나, 볏짚등 유기자원의 환원을 통해 양분의 지하용탈에 의한 수계오염 가능성을 크게 줄일 수 있을 것으로 조사되었다.

Diversity of Fungi in Soils with Different Degrees of Degradation in Germany and Panama

  • Soil degradation can have an impact on the soil microbiota, but its specific effects on soil fungal communities are poorly understood. In this work, we studied the impact of soil degradation on the richness and diversity of communities of soil fungi, including three different degrees of degradation in Germany and Panama. Soil fungi were isolated monthly using the soil-sprinkling method for 8 months in Germany and 3 months in Panama, and characterized by morphological and molecular data. Soil physico-chemical properties were measured and correlated with the observed values of fungal diversity. We isolated a total of 71 fungal species, 47 from Germany, and 32 from Panama. Soil properties were not associated with fungal richness, diversity, or composition in soils, with the exception of soil compaction in Germany. The geographic location was a strong determinant of the soil fungal species composition although in both countries there was dominance by members of the orders Eurotiales and Hypocreales. In conclusion, the results of this work do not show any evident influence of soil degradation on communities of soil fungi in Germany or Panama.

Kinetics of di-n-Butyl Phthalate Degradation by a Bacterium Isolated from Mangrove Sediment

  • Biodegradation of the endocrine-disrupting chemical di-n-butyl phthalate (DBP) was investigated using a bacterium, Pseudomonas fluorescens B-1, isolated from mangrove sediment. The effects of temperature, pH, salinity, and oxygen availability on DBP degradation were studied. Degradation of DBP was monitored by solid-phase extraction using reversed-phase HPLC and UV detection. The major metabolites of DBP degradation were identified as mono-n-butyl phthalate and phthalic acid by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and a pathway of degradation was proposed. Degradation by P. fluorescens B-1 conformed to first-order kinetics. Degradation of DBP was also tested in seawater by inoculating P. fluorescens B-1, and complete degradation of an initial concentration of $100{\mu}g/l$ was achieved in 144 h. These results suggest that DBP is readily degraded by bacteria in natural environments.

에코 패션디자인에 나타난 색채 배색 연구 (The Research of Color Combination Presented in Eco Fashion Design)

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the characteristics of the color combination in Eco fashion design. 532 pictures related to eco was collected through Eco brand web sites from 2008 through 2011. The characteristics for analysis include color combination and tone. The method of research is content and statistical analysis. The result of the research is summed up below. First, achromatic color was most frequently presented in Eco fashion. Also monotone color or single color combination were displayed often. Secondly, many dresses were of single color combination and T-shirt items displayed contrast color combination created by luminosity difference. Third, the outcome of comparing seasons was that both seasons presented single color and contrast color combination. The difference between countries proved slight as single color coloration dominated. This considered the process which was non-chemical manufacture for eco-friendly. For the combination of colors, the same coloration with single colors or contrast coloration due to the differences of brightness were presented quite often, generally, the modern image fashion without fancy factors have shown a lot. These results that minimalism trend was included in eco-friendly image.

Allelopathic Effects of Fir Tree (Abies holophylla)

  • It was found that seed germination and seedling growth of selected species were inhibited by phytotoxic substance released from fir trees. The aqueous extracts of leaves caused significant inhibition in the seed germination of the receptor plants, Whereas seed germination of some species was not inhibited in extracts of leaves, but seedling elongation of the receptor plants was also decreased by the aqueous extract. Dry weight growth was slightly increased in lower concentration of the extract, while that was proportionally inhibited by higher concentration of the extracts. Chemical substances of fir trees were shown the biological toxicity. The GC method was employed for analysis of phytotoxic chemicals and sixteen chemical substances were identified such as benzoic, phenylacetic, etc. Also 33 volatile substances were identified from the fir tree. These chemical compounds are assumed the substances related to allelopathic potential of Abies holophylla plant species.

잣나무의 天然化學物質이 다른 植物에 미치는 毒性作用 (Phytotoxic Effects of Naturally Occurring Chemicals from Pinus koraiensis on Experimental Species)

  • To find out allelopathic potential of naturally occurring substances emitted form pinus korairnsis, water extracts and volatile sudstances of the tree materials werw provided and used for tests such as seed germination and seedling growth test. In general, the more was the concentration of the extracts and essential oils, the worse was growth effects of the selected species. The germination an the growth were inversely proportional to the concentration of the extracts and the essential oils of p. koraiensis. in other words, the chemical substances had the biological toxic activity. gc and gc/ms methods were employed for analysis and identification of phytotoxic substances from the tree leaves. Sixteen chemical compounds were identified from water extracts and nineteen from essential oils of p. koraiensis leaves. Through the experiment on germination and seedling growth test, the chemical substances naturally occurring from p. koraiensis seemed to be responsible for the allelopathic potential in this study.

Rib-eye의 조리기구 및 조리방법에 따른 물성 연구 (A Study on Rheology of the Rib-eye Cooked by Cooking Method and Cooking Utensil)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the physico-chemical properties during the rib-eye preperation while cooked rib-eye and fine sensory evaluation by various cooked utensil (oven, fry-pan and microwave). 1) Change of moisture contents of sauce-pan boiling cooker was lower than boiling by preasure cooker and fat content of sauce-pan boiling was higher than preasure cooker boiling. 2) Degree of cholesterol of cooker meat was not change for content of cholesterol during the boiling preperation but progressively decreased in order of well-done steak < medium steak < rare steak measured by cholesterol analysis. 3) Sensory evaluation conducted by fine graduate as panelists showed that oven steak and fry-pan steak had higher score of sensory evaluation. While microwave steak had the lowest score all sensory profile score.

알레로파시 연구의 기초와 전망 (Basic and Prospective Aspects on Allelopathic Research)

  • To investigate phytotoxic substances in some donor plants and their biological activities, seed germination and seedling growth of receptor plants were examined at different concentrations of aqueous extracts and essential oils of the donor plants. Germination of some receptor species was inhibited by the extracts, while seedling growth was decreased to a lesser degree than in the germination test. Germination, seedling growth and dry weight growth of Achyranthes japonica grown in pot were proportionally inhibited by the extracts. Volatile substances emitted some donor plants caused inhibitory effects in the germination and seedling growth of the receptor species. Essential oil of the plants extracted by Karlsruker's apparatus Inhibited growth of microorganisms, callus growth and root hair development of receptor plants. The cortical cells at the root tips of Latuca sativa treated with essential oils showed contraction of the cytoplasm, resulting in plasma membranes becoming detached from the cell walls and the cells metamorphosing irregularity. Accumulation of lipid granules Inside contracted cytoplasm and degeneration of mitochondrial cristae were also observed. The GC/MS method was employed for analysis and identification of allelochemicals from donor plants. Sixty-one chemical substances such as camphene, cineole etc. were identified from essential oils of Artemisia argyi.
