A 39-year-old man presented with a esophageal submucosal tumor on regular check up examination. Preoperative exams showed the typical submucosal tumor as leiomyoma and operative procedure was enucleation for complete resection. Postoperative pathologic diagnosis including histologic and immunohistochemical study was compatible with plexiform schwannoma. Plexiform schwannoma is one of the least common variant of schwannoma that typically shows a plexiform or multinodular pattern. To our knowledge, there is rare case report of plexiform schwannoma originating in the esophagus and we report ore case with related literature.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a primary hepatic neoplasms in dogs. Three types of HCC such as massive, nodular and diffuse form were reported. Massive HCC is most common and has relatively better prognosis than other forms because this type of HCC can be removed surgically and has low frequency of relapse or metastasis. Diagnostic image can provide useful information for shape and internal structure of the hepatic mass as well as the location and adhesion or invasiveness of the mass to establish surgical plan to remove the mass safely. In this study, we investigated diagnostic features of massive HCC in 5 dogs. Radiography showed soft tissue mass in cranial abdomen in 3 dogs. On ultrasonography, all dogs had a solitary hepatic mass with mixed echo pattern with anechoic cysts, which represented necrosis and hemorrhage. The radiographic and ultrasonographic findings of affected hepatic lobe were compared with the macroscopic findings through laparotomy. Computed tomography was performed to check metastasis and figure out the origin of the mass in two dogs. Ultrasonography is useful and relatively sensitive examination for diagnosis and planning for surgery in canine massive HCC.

The important component for medical effect in ginseng is ginsenoside. Korea Ginseng & Tobacco Research Institute contains approximately 200 lines produced by inbred selection. It is assumed that ginseng lines containing high level of ginsenoside should be included in those lines. Besides, new breeding methods such as cell line selection in vitro and hairy root were recently developed. Therefore, this study was carried out to detect genes related to ginsenoside, and to use it for selection marker to select and distribute lines containing high level of ginsenoside. DNA was extracted from both ginseng roots and hairy roots, and the difference between the line containing high ginsenoside(KG101) and normal ginsenoside(KG103) were analysed. As a result, 28 out of 36 primers showed bands, and many primers showed band difference between ginseng lines. It is considered that the bands should be analysed using DNA sequence comparison to check if those are related to ginsenoside. In case of hairy roots of ginseng, almost no differences were found between two lines.

The principle of parties' autonomy is one of general and dominant principles in an international trade contract. When we consider the determinants of negotiation outcomes, the negotiation is affected its result by their culture and custom. A negotiation has extensively been used a lot as a business process. As we negotiate with our clients, we have to check a lot of factors like strategies, their behaviors, culture shock and custom. That why most people have their different life and circumstance. The same words which are used its contract have several meaning. Because the words are influenced by culture and own custom. Also most people abide by their social pattern. Each culture in the world follows its own customs and traditions. Therefore, when we have the negotiation of trade contract, we have to think these factors. Then the negotiation is leaded very successful This dissertation examines the effects of the negotiators' personality and different culture and custom. On the point of a negotiating power, contracting parties are affected a lot by their usage. The culture which is influenced by contracting parties is possible to apply as a key point. So, this study will be analyzed these factors.

In this study, we designed the system that helps drivers check all information about parking space at the entrance and find out whether the places is available or not, because the system has 'Image recognition function' which can even recognize car number plates exactly. Besides, we place the webcam close to the car number plate, so that car number can be identified more quickly. Finally, since we set the webcam high, the system keeps us from parking wrong places by displaying on the screen.

People experience health behaviors for themselves and theses have diversity according to each culture and people and further there is an inherent meaning in health behavior The purpose of this study was to explore the health cconcept of Korean people and their pattern of health behavior The research method was a questionaire including open questions and the subjests were 164 adults age from 21 to 61. The result of this study are as follows : 1. Perceived health concepts by adults were “possibility”, “responsibility”, “being free”, “happiness”, “brightness”, “power”, “life”, “importance”, “mental rest”, “state of nnonilliness”, “death” 2. Health behaviors carried out by Korean adults were “maintance of psychological comfort”, “exercise”, “work”, “maintance of balanced diet”, “having a hobby”, “eating health food”, “health check up”, “prevention of hazards”, “eating natural food”, “maintenance of personal relationships”, “rest”, “having religion”, “making contract with nature”, “relaxation”, “limit one’s tastes”. 3. The perceived purposes of health behavior by Koran adults were maintenance of a joyful life, health maintenance, health restoration, prevention of illness, achievement of reponsibility, haying a hobby, longevity, peaceful death. Korean health concepts in this study showed a trend that reflects the rule of family and forcused harmony and eating habits. Korean health behavior in this study showed a trend that forcuses on emotional comfort which reflects oriental thinking. The result of this study will contribute to build a theory of health behavior and to derive strategies of health behavior to promote health.

Cherubism is an uncommon, benign fibrosseous lesion of the jaws that causes a progressive, painless, symmetrical expansion of the maxilla and mandible. It's autosomal dominance pattern of inheritance has been confirmed. A characteristic deformity is specific to this disease: hypertrophy of the mandible, swelling of cheeks and sometimes hypertrophy of maxilla with eyes tending to look up ; that looks like the Renaissance cherubs. It usually makes figures during childhood between 2-4 years of age and progresses until puberty, after which it spontaneously regresses 10 most cases. As a result of this case review, the management strategies for cherubismic children in standpoint of pediatic dentistry can be summarized as follows: 1. It can be detected early in childen through its characteristic clinical and radiographic features, which is confirmed by histopathological examination and familial history. 2. The supervision of arch space is required against its frequent sequelae, the early missing of primary teeth and eruption disorders of permanent teeth. 3. It is highly recommended to continue the periodic check-up with clinical and radiographic examination, leading to surgical intervention in cases of aggravation.

Purpose: This study was conducted to compare and estimate sleep patterns and health status of the shift and non-shift factory workers. Methods: The subjects of this study were 290 male workers in 13 companies, which manufacture automobile parts in Daegu, Korea. Survey data were collected from March 5th, 2007 to April 5th, 2007. PSQI was scored to check the quality of sleep, ESS for excessive daytime sleep disorder, ISI for insomnia, and SF-36 for health status. The data were analyzed by $X^2$ and t-test using SPSS 12.0 for windows. Results: There was a difference in quality of sleep patterns between shift and non-shift workers (p=.033). A difference in the pattern of excessive daytime sleep (P=.005) and in the degree of insomnia (p=.030) were observed between the two groups. However, there were no significant difference in health status between the two groups. Conclusion: Based on these results, shift workers are in need of careful and continuous monitoring regarding sleep disorders and we need to develop health promotion programs including sleep hygiene for shift workers.

Taekwondo has been known as one of the most symbolic korean sports to publicize Taekwondo various groups have performed exhibitions. These exhibition performances have gained popularity domestically and globally due to the exhibitions' display of artistry and technical mastery. Performance wear has also received wide exposure and thus needs artistic symbolism and functional considerations. This study was done to develop Taekwondo exhibition performance wear for K-Tigers, one of the most active Taekwondo exhibition performing groups. Investigation of current Taekwondo exhibition performance wear and interviewing with K-Tigers members and staff were conducted before designing the uniforms. Interviews demonstrated 3 guidelines: First, the uniforms should not be too different from the traditional wear, but still look unique. Second, it should symbolize the Korean spirit and culture. Third, it should be casual and trendy enough to appeal to young people. Based on these guidelines, 3 styles were made: Dobok style, Hanbok style and Casual style. 5 final designs were selected among 75 sketches with the consensus of the K-Tigers members. This was followed by the 3-step correction process: wearing, check fitting, and correcting design and pattern to provide satisfaction to wearers, and give more detailed information to Taekwondo performance wear design.

In this study, it proposes the neural network system for character recognition and restoration. Proposes system composed by recognition part and restoration part. In the recognition part. it proposes model of effective pattern recognition to improve ART Neural Network's performance by restricting the unnecessary top-down frame generation and transition. Also the location feature extraction algorithm which applies with Hangeul's structural feature can apply the recognition. In the restoration part, it composes model of inputted image's restoration by Hopfield neural network. We make part experiments to check system's performance, respectively. As a result of experiment, we see improve of recognition rate and possibility of restoration.
