Formation of protective iron carbonate films in $CO_2$ corrosion can reduce corrosion rate substantially and the effects have been incorporated in various prediction models. The $CO_2$ corrosion with the presence of free acetic acid is known to increase corrosion rate below scaling temperature. The possible interaction between the formation of iron acetate and iron carbonate films can affect the protectiveness of the film. The study is done using 3% NaCl solution under stagnant $CO_2$ -saturated condition at the scaling temperatures at various pH values and HAC concentrations. The result show that the presence of HAc does not affect the formation of protective iron carbonate film but delays the attainment of protective iron carbonate due to a possibility of solubilising of ferrous ions and thinning of the films.

The studies on the logistics has been mainly centered on the logistics information system and logistics performance on the supply chain for the enterprise's profit making. For sustainable development, it's being required the construction of recycling-oriented system, and it's also necessary to construct the efficient system not only in forward but in reverse channel. In addition, it's required to construct information system for supporting reverse logistics smoothly. In this study of manufacturing enterprises, recognition on the environmental problems is set as the adaptation degree to the national environmental regulations and enterprise's concern to the environmental logistics, and it presents the direction through analyzing the effects of such environmental logistics recognition on reverse logistics information system and performance. In order to achieve these aims, it was performed through combining philological and positive studies.

$\ulcorner$GANPYUN CHOSUN YORI-JEBUP$\lrcorner$,a book of cooking was written in Korean in 1934. The kinds of food were analyzed of cooking method, materials, measuring unit of materials by this book. Findings from this book are summarized as follows: 1. There were 8 kinds of Bap and 18 kinds of Zook. 2. There were 31 kinds of Korean Soup. 10 kinds of Ziggae, 4 kinds of Jun-gol. 3. There were Side-dishes including 6 kinds of Jim, 5 kinds of Jijimee, 7 kinds of Sanjuk, 9 kinds of Junyua. 18 kinds of Na-mool, 4 kinds of Moo-chim, 3 kinds of Ho, and 15 kinds of Po and were 8 kinds of dry side-dish. 4. Utensil to be used che(sieve), sot(pot). nambi(pan), Sugarak(spoon), and yang peon(bowl). 5. The measuring units were various. for example mal, dei, hob, etc. 6. The processing of cooking included preparation and boiling process. The processing of preparation were puting. mixing, and being cold, and the processing of heating were steaming and boiling.

본 논문에서는 도심지 마이크로셀의 전파환경 특성을 예측하기 위한 무선 채널 파라미터 산출 코드를 구현하였다. 이를 위해 광선추적기법을 이용하여 전파가 겪게 되는 회절과 다중반사의 위치를 구한 다음 전장을 계산하였다. 광선추적기법의 구현시 경로 계산에 소요되는 시간의 단축을 위해 건물의 모든 모서리에서 발생되는 회절 이후의 광선추적을 먼저 수행하는 기법을 제안하였으며, 기존 방법의 결과와 동일하면서도 하나의 수신점에 대한 계산시간을 1/70 하로 단축하였다.

This study focuses upon the custom of the headgear as a part of historical research on our traditional student uniform. It covers from Sam Kuk period(三國鼎立時代) of which we have found written records of formal education through the period under Japanese colonialism: The followings briefly summerizes the results of this study; 1) The educational civilization. The formalism of national education had been similar to that of China. It's main contents consisted of Chinese literature and practice of confucianism. It's objectives had been the education of selected men of ability, most of whom were the offspring of the high class. The education contents after the civilizational period had been gradually modernized for the purpose of westernization. 2) The changes of students' headgear. They had worn the Nakwon of Julpoong style (折風形羅冠) in the Sam Kuk period. They had worn Bok-Doo in the unified Silla dynasty, and Sadaimoolla-Kun (四帶文羅巾), Pyungjung-Kun (平頂巾) and Pyungjung-Dookun (平頂頭巾) in Koryo dynasty. They had worn Yoo-Kun (儒巾), Bok-Kun (福巾) in Yi dynasty. The noticeable distinction under Japanese colonialism had been the custom uniformity from headgear to footwear. Middle school educatee had worn round cap and professional school and college educatees had worn square hats.

The connection between a column and a beam is of particular importance to ensure the safety of civil engineering structures, such as high-rise buildings and bridges. While the connector must bear sufficient force for load transmission, increase of its ductility, toughness and damping may greatly enhance the overall safety of the structures. In this work, a composite beam-column connector is proposed and analyzed with the finite element method, including effects of elasticity, linear viscoelasticity, plasticity, as well as geometric nonlinearity. The composite connector consists of three parts: (1) soft steel; (2) polymer; and (3) conventional steel to be connected to beam and column. It is found that even in the linear range, the energy dissipation capacity of the composite connector is largely enhanced by the polymer material. Since the soft steel exhibits low yield stress and high ductility, hence under large deformation the soft steel has the plastic deformation to give rise to unique energy dissipation. With suitable geometric design, the connector may be tuned to exhibit different strengths and energy dissipation capabilities for real-world applications.

A warranty cost analysis for new products have received a lot of attention. In contrast, there is hardly any literature on similar analysis for second-hand products. The market of second-hand products has been increasing and along with that the importance of warranties for second-hand products has also been increasing. However, warranty policies similar to new products are not economically acceptable to dealers. One needs to formulate new warranty policies and models to estimate expected warranty costs for second-hand products. This paper proposes one-dimensional cost sharing warranty policies and develops models at system level to analysis warranty cost for second-hand products sold with these policies.

A multi-server queueing system with finite buffer is considered. The input flow is the BMAP (Batch Markovian Arrival Process). The service time has the PH (Phase) type distribution. Customers from the BMAP enter the system according to the discipline of partial admission. Besides ordinary (positive) customers, the Markovian flow (MAP) of negative customers arrives to the system. A negative customer can delete an ordinary customer in service if the state of its PH-service process belongs to some given set. In opposite case the ordinary customer is considered to be protected of the effect of negative customers. The stationary distribution and the main performance measures of the considered queueing system are calculated.

The nursing informatics has been booming in Taiwan since 2003 when we started to use the end user computing strategy to promote it. We used Excel 2003, which was well known and used by our clinical nurses, as well as the embedded VBA to teach them how simple information applications could and should be built to meet their information management needs in order to support their professional responsibility. Many cost-effective projects were successfully done and the importance and potentials of nursing informatics started to be noticed. Our training strategy and materials are introduced in this paper.

This study was undertaken to investigate the effect of red ginseng extract (5.5 mg/mouse ip) on the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase and catalase in the liver of the gamma ray irradiated male mice. The experimental groups consisted of control, red ginseng extract injection group, irradiation (8 $Gy^{60}$Co) group and red ginseng extract injection after irradiation group. in red ginseng extract injection group, SOD, peroxidase and catalase activities were similar to that in the control group. In irradiation group SOD, peroxidase and catalase activities increased progressively until the 2nd day after the treatment and then decreased thereafter, whereas red ginseng extract injection after irradiation group recovered more rapidly than irradiation group. The above results suggested that red ginseng extract injection after irradiation group have the recovery effects on the activities of SOD, peroxidase and catalase after radiation injury in the liver of male mice.
