What Concerns Does ChatGPT Raise for Us?: An Analysis Centered on CTM (Correlated Topic Modeling) of YouTube Video News Comments (ChatGPT는 우리에게 어떤 우려를 초래하는가?: 유튜브 영상 뉴스 댓글의 CTM(Correlated Topic Modeling) 분석을 중심으로)

  • This study aimed to examine public concerns in South Korea considering the country's unique context, triggered by the advent of generative artificial intelligence such as ChatGPT. To achieve this, comments from 102 YouTube video news related to ethical issues were collected using a Python scraper, and morphological analysis and preprocessing were carried out using Textom on 15,735 comments. These comments were then analyzed using a Correlated Topic Model (CTM). The analysis identified six primary topics within the comments: "Legal and Ethical Considerations"; "Intellectual Property and Technology"; "Technological Advancement and the Future of Humanity"; "Potential of AI in Information Processing"; "Emotional Intelligence and Ethical Regulations in AI"; and "Human Imitation."Structuring these topics based on a correlation coefficient value of over 10% revealed 3 main categories: "Legal and Ethical Considerations"; "Issues Related to Data Generation by ChatGPT (Intellectual Property and Technology, Potential of AI in Information Processing, and Human Imitation)"; and "Fear for the Future of Humanity (Technological Advancement and the Future of Humanity, Emotional Intelligence, and Ethical Regulations in AI)."The study confirmed the coexistence of various concerns along with the growing interest in generative AI like ChatGPT, including worries specific to the historical and social context of South Korea. These findings suggest the need for national-level efforts to ensure data fairness.

Application of artificial intelligence in medical education: focus on the application of ChatGPT for clinical medical education (의학 교육에서 인공지능의 응용: 임상의학 교육을 위한 ChatGPT의 활용을 중심으로)

  • This study explores the potential use of artificial intelligence (AI)-based services, specifically ChatGPT-3.5, in medical education. The application of this technology is acknowledged as a valuable tool for simulating authentic clinical scenarios and enhancing learners' diagnostic and communication skills. To construct a case, students received ChatGPT training using a clinical ethics casebook titled "Clinical Ethics Cases and Commentaries for Medical Students and Physicians." Subsequently, a role-play script was generated based on this training. The initial draft of the script was reviewed by two medical professors and was further optimized using ChatGPT-3.5. Consequently, a comprehensive role-play script, accurately reflecting real-world clinical situations, was successfully developed. This study demonstrates the potential for effectively integrating AI technology into medical education and provides a solution to overcome limitations in developing role-play scripts within conventional educational settings. However, the study acknowledges that AI cannot always generate flawless role-play scripts and recognizes the necessity of addressing these limitations and ethical concerns. The research explores both the potential and limitations of employing AI in the early stages of medical education, suggesting that future studies should focus on overcoming these limitations while further investigating the potential applications of AI in this field.

Exploring the possibility of using ChatGPT and Stable Diffusion as a tool to recommend picture materials for teaching and learning

  • In this paper, artificial intelligence agents ChatGPT and Stable Diffusion were used to explore the possibility of educational use by implementing a program to recommend picture materials for teaching and learning according to the class topic entered by teachers. The average time spent recommending all picture materials is about 6 minutes. In general, pictures related to keywords were recommended, and the letters in the recommended pictures could only know the intention to represent the letters, and the letters could not be recognized and the meaning could not be known. However, further research seems to be needed on the fact that the type or content of the recommended picture depends entirely on the response of ChatGPT and that it is not possible to accurately recommend the picture for all keywords. In addition, it was concluded that it is true that the recommended picture is related to the keyword, but the evaluation of whether it has educational value is the subject of discussion that should be left to the judgment of human teachers.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the functional aspects linked to the productivity innovation of ChatGPT, which emerged as a result of the rapid development of AI technology, and to identify ways to apply it in the jewelry industry. By analyzing the definition of ChatGPT and its features that improve productivity, I identify the scope of its application in the jewelry production process and derive meaningful implications. ChatGPT has the characteristics of 'learning', 'communication', and 'generative'. It enhances productivity by applying it to the jewelry industry. Social issues arise from the paradigm shift in the creation methods of generative AI. The version of ChatGPT is continuously upgraded along with the expansion of parameters. Accordingly, we would like to discuss ways to strengthen the competitiveness of the jewelry industry by conducting continuous research.

Analysis of generative AI's mathematical problem-solving performance: Focusing on ChatGPT 4, Claude 3 Opus, and Gemini Advanced (생성형 인공지능의 수학 문제 풀이에 대한 성능 분석: ChatGPT 4, Claude 3 Opus, Gemini Advanced를 중심으로)

  • As digital·AI-based teaching and learning is emphasized, discussions on the educational use of generative AI are becoming more active. This study analyzed the mathematical performance of ChatGPT 4, Claude 3 Opus, and Gemini Advanced on solving examples and problems from five first-year high school math textbooks. As a result of examining the overall correct answer rate and characteristics of each skill for a total of 1,317 questions, ChatGPT 4 had the highest overall correct answer rate of 0.85, followed by Claude 3 Opus at 0.67, and Gemini Advanced at 0.42. By skills, all three models showed high correct answer rates in 'Find functions' and 'Prove', while relatively low correct answer rates in 'Explain' and 'Draw graphs'. In particular, in 'Count', ChatGPT 4 and Claude 3 Opus had a correct answer rate of 1.00, while Gemini Advanced was low at 0.56. Additionally, all models had difficulty in explaining using Venn diagrams and creating images. Based on the research results, teachers should identify the strengths and limitations of each AI model and use them appropriately in class. This study is significant in that it suggested the possibility of use in actual classes by analyzing the mathematical performance of generative AI. It also provided important implications for redefining the role of teachers in mathematics education in the era of artificial intelligence. Further research is needed to develop a cooperative educational model between generative AI and teachers and to study individualized learning plans using AI.

  • 챗 GPT 는 음성 혹은 문자로 사람과 대화할 수 있는 컴퓨터 프로그램인 챗봇(ChatBot) 중 하나이다. 최근 챗 GPT 의 사용자가 급격히 증가하면서 다양한 문제점과 한계가 발견되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 챗 GPT 를 활용 시 발생하는 문제와 한계에 대하여 살펴본다. 챗 GPT 의 문제점에는 챗 GPT 로 악성코드를 작성하는 사이버 범죄, 개인정보 침해 문제, 챗 GPT 로 과제 작성, 타인에게 챗 GPT 와 대화한 내용이 보이는 보안의 취약점이 발견되는 등이 있다. 챗 GPT 의 한계로는 실시간 학습 불가, 아는 것과 모르는 것의 구분 불가, 저작권 침해와 편향성과 같은 것이 있다. 본 논문이 챗 GPT 의 해결 가능한 문제를 신속하게 해결하고 남아있는 한계에 대한 잠재적인 해결책을 파악하는 데 도움이 되기를 기대한다.

  • COVID-19 가 사실상 종식됨에 따라 대학 강의가 비대면 온라인 강의에서 대면 강의로 전환되었다. 온라인 강의에서는 다시 보기를 통한 복습이 가능했지만, 대면강의에서는 녹음을 통해서 이를 대체하고 있다. 하지만 다시 보기와 녹음본은 원하는 부분을 찾거나 내용을 요약하는데 있어서 시간이 오래 걸리고 불편하다. 본 논문에서는 강의 내용을 STT(Speech-to-Text) 기술을 활용하여 텍스트로 변환하고 ChatGPT(Chat-Generative Pre-trained Transformer)로 요약하는 애플리케이션을 제안한다.
