현장시험에 의한 중성선 고조파 해석용 접지 임피던스 모델링 (The Ground Impedance Modeling for Neutral Harmonic Analysis by Field Tests)

  • With the proliferation of nonlinear loads, high neutral harmonic currents in three-phase four-wire distribution system have been observed. It has been. known that the ground impedance has an effect on the neutral currents of a system which operates with harmonics present. On-site measurements of harmonic currents and voltages according to the fell-of-potential method under case study system were made and the ground impedance modeling using the pattern search method for the harmonic analysis was developed. The ground impedance model obtained by the proposed method was compared with the frequency characteristics by field tests and has shown appropriate results, and would be applicable to evaluate the harmonic and transient response characteristics of the ground system.

전류분포가 3본-도체의 임계전류/교류손실 특성에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Current Distributions on Critical Current and AC Loss Characteristics in a 3-conductor)

  • AC loss is an important issue in the design of high-T$\sub$c/ superconducting power cables which consist of a number of Bi-2223 tapes wound on a former. In the cables, the tapes have different critical currents intrinsically. And they are electrically connected to each other and current leads. These make loss measurements considerably complex, especially for short samples of laboratory size. So special cautions are required in the positioning of voltage leads for measuring the true loss voltage. In this work we have prepared a conductor composed of three Bi-2223 tapes with different critical currents. The critical current and AC loss characteristics in the conductor have experimentally investigated. The results show that for uniform current distributions the conductor's critical current is proportional to the critical current of the Bi-2223 tape to which a voltage lead is attached. However it depends on the current non-uniformity parameter in the conductor rather than the tape's critical currents for nonuniform current distributions. The loss tests indicate that the AC loss is dependent on arrangements of voltage leads but not on their contact positions. The measured losses in the conductor also agree well with the sum of the transport losses measured in each Bi-2223 tape.

  • 3상 4선식 배전계통을 채용하는 우리나라는 비선형 부하의 증가로 중성선에는 많은 중성선 고조파 전류가 관측되고 있다. 또한 접지 임피던스는 고조파가 있는 중성선 전류에 영향 끼친다고 알려져 있다. 전위 강하법에 따라 현장에서 실측한 고조파 전류와 전압을 측정하고, Pattern Search 기법으로 고조파 해석용 접지 임피던스를 모델링 하였다. 여기서 구한 임피던스 모델은 현장 시험에 의한 임피던스 모델과 비교하여 유사한 결과를 얻었고, 접지 시스템의 고조파 및 과도 응답 특성을 평가하는데 활용될 것으로 사료된다.

  • In this work, in order to investigate the effect of multiple lightning impulse currents on zinc oxide arrester blocks. We have been designed and fabricated a multi-impulse generator which can produce quintuple voltages with $1.2/50{\mu}s$ to 100kV and quintuple currents with $8/20{\mu}s$ to 12kA and we have evaluated the characteristics of zinc oxide arrester block using several electrical and physical methods after the multi-impulse test. It was found that the multi-impulse failures of ZnO arrester blocks were mainly caused by surface flashover and the multi-impulse currents test would be more suitable than single impulse current test in evaluation of the characteristics of zinc oxide arrester blocks corresponding to actual situations.

전지의 연결방법에 따른 전류의 특성에 대한 초등교사들의 오개념 유형과 그 일관성 (Types of Misconceptions and their Consistencies of the Elementary School Teachers about the Characteristics of Currents according to the Connection Methods of Batteries in Simple Electric Circuits)

  • 전지의 연결방법에 따른 전류의 특성에 대한 초등교사들의 오개념 유형과 그 일관성에 대하여 조사되었다. 초등교사들의 전지의 연결방법에 따른 전류의 특성에 대한 오개념은 3가지 유형으로 나타났다. 14명의 초등교사들을 대상으로 한 이 연구에서, 전지들의 직렬연결과 병렬연결시 전류의 특성을 연결하는 전지의 수에 초점을 맞추는 유형에는 2명의 초등교사가, 전지의 직렬연결에 대한 개념과 병렬연결에 대한 개념을 혼동하는 유형에는 8명의 초등교사가, 그리고 전지의 직렬연결과 병렬연결에 대한 개념을 저항의 직렬연결과 병렬연결에 대한 개념으로 혼동하는 유형에는 4명의 초등교사가 분포하였다. 초등교사들은 전지의 연결에 대한 학습개념이 적용되는 상황에서 뿐만 아니라 분화개념이 적용되어야 하는 상황에서도 그들의 오개념 유형을 일관성 있게 적용하고 있었다.

  • Magnitude of generated harmonic currents along with the operation of AC traction has nonlinear characteristics, and generated harmonic currents for high speed traction are more and more in high speed railroad(HSR) systems, especially. This paper presents probabilistic approximation method for the harmonic currents analysis about the operating speed of AC traction. To use probabilistic method for HSR system, probability density function(PDF) for collected operating speed based measure data is calculated. Mean and variance of harmonic currents of single traction are obtained based on the operating speed PDF and electrical traction model. The results of Monte Carlo Simulation(MCS) are in well accordance with the experimental and analytic methods. The harmonics of different number of trainloads are systematically investigated. It is assessed by the total demand distortion(TDD) for the HSR system.

Study of Short-Circuit Currents Around Dĕtmarovice Power Station

  • The calculation of short-circuit currents is important for power systems operation and restoration, and for determining the means to protect human lives and properties. In this paper, a part of a power system network, around the D$\breve{e}$tmarovice power station in Czech Republic, was simulated by the well known program EMTP-ATPDraw (Electromagnetic Transients Program-Alternative Transient Program), and short-circuit currents and voltages were calculated at different points in the electric network and presented as a time function by the PlotXY program. Calculations were done just for phase-to-ground, and for the three-phase short-circuit at the Kun$\check{c}$ice substation. The results were important for determining the characteristics of the equipment required to withstand or break the short-circuit current; for this reason, the calculations were repeated using earth-fault resistances only for the case of busbar KUN shown in Figs. 5 and 6.

  • In this work, in order to investigate the effect of lightning impulse currents on ZnO surge arrester. and the deterioration characteristics of ZnO surge arrester, 8/20 [${\mu}s$], 2.5 [kA] impulse currents were applied to the ZnO surge arrester under test. The leakage currents of ZnO surge arrester were measured and ZnO element was analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. As a result, the resistive leakage current of ZnO surge arrester was increased with the injection number of lightning impulse currents.

Kisat-A Magnetometer Observations of Birkeland Currents in the High-Latitude Region

  • Field-aligned(Birkeland) currents of the High-latitude polar region are to the linkage between the solar wind-magnetosphere system and the ionosphere. The characteristics of field-aligned currents at an attitude of 1300 km have been investigated from the KiSat-A satellite magnetometer data recorded at SatRec form March to May 1993. It is found that the po1arity of both east-west and south-north magnetic components becomes reversed and distorted across the poleward edge. We suggest that these changes May occur rule to the Region 1 and Region 2 currents. It is also suggested that the current time resolution which is about 30 seconds, should be improved to prove gradual polarity changes in the polar region. In addition, it is shown how the observational results depend on the longitude in the high-latitude region.

  • It was confirmed that current flowing in thin films below nm increases conductivity in diffusion currents by holes rather than electric currents by electrons. ZTO thin film, which was heat treated at $150^{\circ}C$, increased electron concentration, and thus increased capacitances. However, it was found that low current movement would be difficult as the degree of movement was reduced. Therefore, it was found that diffusion currents were more advantageous than drift currents by electrons in order to allow low current to be produced in very thin films of nm class.
