Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the influence of socio-demographic characteristics and ethical type on self-esteem in dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 657 dental hygiene students in J region from November 10 to December 10, 2014. Data were analyzed by SPSS 12.0 program. The study instrument consisted of ethical type and self-esteem by Liker 5 scale. Ethical type was adapted from Ethics Position Questionnaire by Forsyth and self-esteem was adapted and modified from Rosenburg instrument. Cronbach alpha was 0.850 in ethical type and 0.840 in self-esteem. Results: Ethical type of dental hygiene students showed higher idealism of 3.87 and relativism of 3.59. Self-esteem was 3.49. Extroverted personality tended to show higher self-esteem. Age, monthly income of parents, family atmosphere had an influence on self-esteem. The explanatory power of the study was 35.0%. Conclusions: The ethical type and self-esteem were the important factors to the dental hygiene students in career development.

Characteristics of air-jet textured yarns are determined by linear density, strength, and instability together with structural properties. Such characteristics are affected by various processing parameters and supply yam properties. In this Paper, specially, we have studied on the effect of air jet texturing conditions not only on texturing characteristics but also on splitting behavior using split-type ultrafine P/N filaments and their draw textured yarns as raw materials. Needle contamination was investigated using a test rig simulated the knitting points in the knitting machine in relation with the characteristics of knitting yarn such as yarn type and moisture contents. When used open-end yarn compared with combed and carded ring-spun yarns, the needle contamination was significantly increased because of the higher friction between yarn and needle by the fly and other impurities. Also Lower moisture content of the yarns aggravated the needle contamination. In addition knitting yarn breakage was substantially influenced by the higher needle contamination.

The frequency response characteristics of a bimorph type PZT piezoelectric transducer was investigated. In this study, function generator which generates short burst signal, plane reflection plate and oscilloscope were used to measure the characteristics of piezoceramic ultrasonic transducer. The resonant frequency of a bimorph type piezoceramic transducer which is acquired by using Tone-Burst Method had good agreement with the measured results from spectrum analyzer.

In the recently, the necessity of linear position control motors have been increased in the various fields of the automatic control system. In this paper, we have designed the tooth models of the hybrid type linear stepping motor(HLSM); rectangular type(RT), triangle type(TrT), round type(RdT) and wedge type(WT), and proposed the optimum tooth shape of the HLSM by simulating(Flux2D) the thrust and normal force characteristics with the finite element method(FEM) and the virtual work method. And we have manufactured the prototype HLSM with the optimum tooth, and measured the various values by using experimental system. Thus, we have confirmed the justice of theory because the computed and the experimental results almost coincide with.

The purpose of this study is to provide a practical planning guide for the actual conditions and the preference by user characteristics in one-room housing. The data collected through questionnaire surveys from the residents of one-room housing in kangnam & sinchon. 259 samples we collected and are analyzed by using SPSS-PC. The results are follows : 1) Students: Students prefer monthly rent, down town, of officetel type, 8-l0py room size, and semi-furnished 2)Business men: They prefer multi function housing mixed office and residence, down town, officetel type, 11-l5py, and fully furnished housing. 3)Newly marriged couples: Ordinary habitation site, apt type, 16-l8py ,and 5: 5 division of space(bedroom:others) 4) Old age: normal habitation site, residence-commerce complex building type, middle corridor type, and 11-l5py. 5)Couple+child: lease of deposit basis, apt complex site, and 16-l8py.

This study is aimed to determine types of job values which is searched by 242 university student in Gwangju, to study characteristics of each type, and to analyze key competency of each type. The data were analyed with PASW 18.0 using frequency analysis, k-mean cluster analysis, crosstabs and one-way ANOVA. According to findings, first of all, university student types of job values are divided into 4 groups; a type of intrinsic job values(27.7%), a type of active job value(32.2%), a type of external job value(12.4%), a type of passive job value(27.7%). Secondly, the type of job values showed statistically significant difference only in the monthly allowance of socio-economic variables. Thirdly, the type of job values showed statistically significant difference 'communication', 'mathematics', 'problem solving', 'self development', 'resource management', 'interpersonal skills', 'technical ability', 'understanding organizations' and 'work ethics'.

The performance improvement of a small-size integrated-type fully hydraulic breaker is studied in this paper. Mathematical modeling of the breaker is established and verified by experiment. Through sensitivity analysis using AMESim, the key design parameters are selected and nearly optimized to maximize the impact energy as well as to improve the dynamic characteristics such as the piston upper chamber pressure, piston and valve displacements. As a result, the impact energy, blows per minute(bpm) and output power are increased by 52.9%, 1%, and 55.6%, respectively compared with the current design. The dynamic characteristics of the piston upper chamber pressure, piston and valve displacements are also improved by the design change.

Purpose. To efficiently manage hospitals, this study aims to analyze the general characteristics, common-type balance sheet, common-type profit and loss statement and financial ratio of a tertiary general hospital and use the results as basic data for future hospital development by comprehending causes for problems and analyzing hospital management. Methods. By using information about a tertiary general hospital, located in A Metropolitan City, provided through Alio (www.alio.go.kr), a public organization information provider, Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service, and Ministry of Health and Welfare, this study used data during 3 years(2011 to 2013) by analyzing the general characteristics, common-type balance sheet, common-type profit and loss statement, industrial mean ratio and financial ratio of hospitals. Results. This study came to the following conclusions through the general characteristics, common-type balance sheet, common-type profit and loss statement, industrial mean ratio, financial ratio, circular chart and ROI by analyzing the data from 2011 to 2013. Conclusions. Overall, A Tertiary General Hospital showed an increase in fixed cost due to the construction of J Hospital and even in the size of capital and assets. It also showed an increase in medical profit, but the increase of its medical cost was higher, resulting in a financial loss. Especially, this hospital showed a slight decrease in net profit, featuring a reduction in inventory turnover. When the management of A Tertiary General Hospital was predicted based on such features, this hospital is expected to improve its profit structure through the opening of J Hospital, and it is necessary for this hospital to increase and sustain the turnover rate of inventories accumulated by managing them better.

A outdoor space of the brand apartment can improve the quality of the whole environment in apartment and has differentiated identity in apartment housing through various versions of the green space and water space plan. The purpose of this study is to evaluate nature-friendly design characteristics in brand apartments and to offer a basic information for planning of brand apartment. In concrete, nature-friendly design did by green space and water space that can analyze by visual, and investigation contents divided to position, form, user behavior, link space from user viewpoint by case study. This study examined a case of eight brand apartments located in Gangnamgu, Seoul. We has divided the characteristics of a green space into horizontal type, vertical type, multi-dimensional type and has divided the water space into stagnant water type, flowing stream type, waterfall type and fountain type. The findings are summarized as follows: First, in case of the space of brand apartment, the application of horizontal and vertical greenery was lower compare with multi-dimensional green space. The most of items for multi-dimensional greenery have been planned to the open space and promenade. Second, a stagnant water type of water space features well used in most of the cases but a water space of signs of activity like a flowing stream, waterfall, fountain types were underused because of problem of administrative and maintenance expenses. Thirdly, Water space of brand apartments was planned with specialization item by apartment housing but green space does not have differentiated item and was planned by most similar form.
