  • 본 연구에서는 실차를 대상으로 유한요소 해석을 통하여 차체 및 차실의 구조 진동 및 음향모우드를 구한후 관련 실험에 의한 검증 및 보완을 통하여 설계단계에서 의 진동 및 소음수준을 저감시키는데 유용한 정보를 제공코저 하였다.

  • Leaf springs are widely used as a major suspension component in many commercial vehicles, such as buses, trucks, etc. They have a complex dynamic behavior due to the geometric nonlinear and the contact mechanism between the leaves. The interface conditions between the leaves play a significant role in the global behavior of the comfort and ride of the vehicle system. The paper concentrates on modeling leaf springs and contact frictions between the leaves using a nonlinear finite element approach. A nonlinear load-displacement hysteresis curve for the leaf spring is simulated and its results are compared with test results.

  • Stability of cut-slope is considered to have a deep relationship with rock types since rock has its own engineering and geological characteristic such as shear strength, durability, weathering profile, geological structures. Therefore, analysis of geological and engineering characterisics of rock mass is essential for the evaluation of rock slope stability This paper introduces the statistical data of slope failure cases which was collected from highway slopes constructed in sedimentary rock mainly of shale in Ky ng-sang Basin. Primary failure feature in this area is planar failure along the bedding regardless of slope geometry. Even a disasterous slope failure case due to the thick clay layer between the beddings was reported. Failures and rock fall were reported to ocurred frequently after the completion of cutting due to the weathering, so long-term slope stability should be considered as a important factors in design.

  • For the purpose of rational design of air insulation, it is need to experiment with similar to real shape test object and conform the characterisics. But basic distances of air insulation of transmission line, tower, etc. can be acquired from flashover characteristic of rod-rod, rod-plane electrodes. In this paper, before field test of 765kV transmission line for determination of distances of phase to ground insulation, we execute lightning, switching impulse test with test electrod(rod-rod, rod-plane) against clearances of air insulation. Each tests use up-down method and consist of 30 times flashover test. Flashover data treatment program and air correction program following IEC 60-1(1987) standard were completely builted.

  • In recent, the requirement of remote control of hychaulic system is in- creasing. The actuator unit whose output position is proportional to input electrical signal needs a pressure reducer and a dump valve. The pressure reducer provides a constant regulated pressure and filters contaminants. The dump valve supplies proper pressure to the pressure reducer and unloads when the system is not operated. In this thesis, dump valve and pressure reducer with auxiliary function are studied. The choke in the pressure reducer prevents actuator from supplying higher pressure than necessary pressure at beginning, and the spring constant affects on the dynamic characterisics. In dump valve, it is proved that diameter of servo-slide hold and choke diameter of dump plunger affects on damping response.

  • This paper shows a performance analysis for conical type sealless cylinders and rod bearings. The pistons without seal have partly cylindrical and conical shapes. 2 dimensional Reynolds equation and FD(finite differential) numerical techniques are utilized for the performance analysis. The relationship among self-centering forces and leakage flows are investigated. Also, optimal design values for a sealless cylinder are presented. A prototype of sealless cylinder which had rod bearing with four pockets, five pockets, and six pockets was manufactured respectively. Leakage flow test is conducted to evaluate performance of piston and rod bearing in sealless cylinder.

가속냉각형 TMCP강재 대입열 용접부의 피로특성 (A Study on the Fatigue Characteristics of Accelerated Cooled TMCP Steel's Welded Joint with High Heat Input)

  • The fatigue test was carried out to evaluate the fatigue characteristics of the accelerated cooled (ACC) TMCP steel and its welded joint. From this study, it was confirmed that ACC TMCP steel has higher fatigue strength than conventional steels. After welding, however, the fatigue strength of ACC TMCP steel was deteriorated associated with HAZ softening when weld reinforcement was removed. On the other hand, with weld reinforcement, there is no effect of HAZ softening on the fatigue strength of welded joint because it is strongly dependant on the detail weld geometry i.e., stress concentration factor. Accordingly the fatigue strength of actual welded joint increases with decreasing the stress concentration factor of welded joint, regardless of HAZ softening.

  • Utilizing 2-dimensional device simulations incorporating lattic eheating models, we analyzed in detail the DC breakdown characterisics of NMOS trasistors with different structures, which are commonly used as ESD protection transistors. The mechanism leading to device failure resulting from electrostatic discharge was explained by analyzing the 1st and 2nd breakdown characteristics of LDD devices. Also a criteria for more robust designs of NMOS transistor structures against ESD was suggested by examining the characteristics changes with changes in structural parameters such as the LDD doping concentration, the drain junction depth, the distance between source/drain contacts, and the source junction area.

  • The thermal characteristics of a disk such as temperature distribution, thermal behaviours and thermal stress during a braking operation has been analyzed for a high-speed train using the finite element method. The maximum stress for a pad loaded against a disk was occurred at the trailing and leading edges of the disk pad at the underlayer-backplate interface. The FEM results indictate that the thermal characterisics of the spot type pad shows good performance compared with those of the flat type pad. Thus, the spot type pad in brake system may be recommended for the high-speed train system.

LNG 저장탱크용 멤브레인의 충격거동에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study of Impact Behaviors of the Membrane for LNG Storage Tank)

  • This paper analyzes the behaviors of the membrane under drop impact loadings using the acoustic emission technique. The analysis is useful for evaluating the strength of the membrane as well as for studying its damping characterisics due to the corrugation and the ring knot. The membrane for LNG storage tank is basically composed linear and circular elements. Two membrane specimens have approximately same drop impact mass and same drop speed. Locan 320 system with piezoelectric sensor is used in the experimental measurement. Experimental results for the membranes indicated that AE siganls having higher energies were generated with increasing drop impact loadings. It was confirmed that the ring knot. membrane has high absorption of drop impact loadings in comparison with the flat membrane. These results are very important to reliable design and to improve the safey of the membrane components.
