자원제약하의 다단계 다품목 공급사슬망 생산계획을 위한 휴리스틱 알고리즘 (A Hybrid Heuristic Approach for Supply Chain Planningwith n Multi-Level Multi-Item Capacitated Lot Sizing Model)

  • 공급사슬망에서 분산되어있는 제조시스템에 대한 생산 계획수립은 공급사슬관리의 주요 연구분야 중의 하나이다. 본 논문은 공급사슬망에서 자원제약을 갖는 다단계 다품목 로트사이즈 결정 문제(Multi-Level, multi-item Capacitated Lot Sizing Problem: MLCLSP)를 위한 알고리즘을 제시한다. MLCLSP는 MIP(mixed integer program) 문제에 해당한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 휴리스틱과 최적화 패키지인 LINGO를 이용해 서로 반복적인 방식으로 해를 풀어나가는 혼성적인 성격을 갖는다. 휴리스틱을 이용하여 정수형 변수를 결정한 후, 얻게 되는 LP(linear program) 문제를 LINGO를 이용하여 해를 개선해 나가는 방식을 기본으로 한다. 본 논문에서는 탐색 휴리스틱 기법으로 임의 재시작 타부탐색 알고리즘을 제시한다. 다양한 시나리오의 실험을 통해 제안된 알고리즘들의 성능을 평가한다.

중첩된 무한 해시체인을 이용한 Lamport OTP 확장 (Lamport OTP Extension using Overlapped Infinite Hash Chains)

  • Lamport 일회용 패스워드(OTP)는 고정된 패스워드 그리고 패스워드의 사전공유라는 단순 패스워드가 지니는 문제점을 해결하기 위해 해시체인에 기반을 두고 있다. 하지만 Lamport 방식은 길이가 유한한 해시체인의 해시값을 OTP로 사용하기 때문에 해시체인을 구성하는 해시값들을 모두 소진한 이후에는 새로운 해시체인의 루트 해시값을 재 등록해야 한다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 이 같은 단점을 해결하기 위해 여러 연구가 진행되었으나 증명자와 검증자에 대한 계산 부담이 증가하는 등 새로운 단점이 노출되었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Lamport 방식의 장점을 유지하면서 동시에 단점을 해결하기 위해 기존 Lamport 방식 OTP의 핵심인 하나의 긴 해시체인 대신에 여러 개의 짧은 해시체인을 중첩 구성하는 새로운 방식의 OTP를 제안하고 비교 분석한다.

Fatigue analysis on the mooring chain of a spread moored FPSO considering the OPB and IPB

  • The appropriate design of a mooring system to maintain the position of an offshore structure in deep sea under various environmental loads is important. Fatigue design of the mooring line considering OPB/IPB(out-of-plane bending/in-plane bending) became an essential factor after the incident of premature fatigue failure of the mooring chain due to OPB/IPB in the Girassol region in West Africa. In this study, mooring line fatigue analysis was performed considering the OPB/IPB of a spread moored FPSO in deep sea. The tension of the mooring line was derived by hydrodynamic analysis using the de-coupled analysis method. The floater motion time histories were calculated under the assumption that the mooring line behaves in quasi-static manner. Additional time domain analysis was carried out by prescribing the obtained motions on top of the selected critical mooring line, which was determined based on spectral fatigue analysis. In addition, nonlinear finite element analysis was performed considering the material nonlinearities, and both the interlink stiffness and stress concentration factors were derived. The fatigue damage to the chain surface was estimated by combining both the hydrodynamic and stress analysis results.

고중량 이송 가능한 초경량 로봇 팔의 설계 (Design of Ultra-light Robot-arm Capable of Carrying Heavy Weight)

  • In this paper, a six degree-of-freedom robot arm which is very light but capable of delivering heavy loads was studied. The proposed robot arm has much higher load capacity than conventional robot arms actuated by motors with speed reducers such as the harmonic drive since a new type of robot actuator based on a closed chain mechanism driven by the ball screw was adopted. Analysis on the design scheme and on the mechanism of the joint actuator of the robot arm were made. Since the robot arm was designed very light, it has deflection in the links. To analyze this, a finite element analysis on the structure of the designed robot links was made using ANSYS software. Verifying experiments on the performance of high load capacity of the robot arm was performed by loading heavy weights on the robot arm. Through experiments. the correctness of the numerical analysis was also verified.

Markov 확률모델을 이용한 저전력 상태할당 알고리즘 (FSM State Assignment for Low Power Dissipation Based on Markov Chain Model)

  • 본 논문은 디지털 순서회로 설계시 상태할당 알고리즘 개발에 관한 연구로, 동적 소비전력을 감소시키기 위하여 상태변수의 변화를 최소로 하는 코드를 할당하여 상태코드가 변화하는 스위칭횟수를 줄이도록 하였다. 상태를 할당하는데는 Markov의 확률함수를 이용하여 hamming거리가 최소가 되도록 상태 천이도에서 각 상태를 연결하는 edge에 weight를 정의한 다음, 가중치를 이용하여 각 상태들간의 연결성을 고려하여 인접한 상태들간에는 가능한 적은 비트 천이를 가지도륵 모든 상태를 반복적으로 찾아 계산하였다. 비트 천이의 정도를 나타내기 위하여 cost 함수로 계산한 결과 순서회로의 종류에 따라 Lakshmikant의 알고리즘보다 최고 57.42%를 감소시킬 수 있었다.

MCMC Approach for Parameter Estimation in the Structural Analysis and Prognosis

  • Estimation of uncertain parameters is required in many engineering problems which involve probabilistic structural analysis as well as prognosis of existing structures. In this case, Bayesian framework is often employed, which is to represent the uncertainty of parameters in terms of probability distributions conditional on the provided data. The resulting form of distribution, however, is not amenable to the practical application due to its complex nature making the standard probability functions useless. In this study, Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method is proposed to overcome this difficulty, which is a modern computational technique for the efficient and straightforward estimation of parameters. Three case studies that implement the estimation are presented to illustrate the concept. The first one is an inverse estimation, in which the unknown input parameters are inversely estimated based on a finite number of measured response data. The next one is a metamodel uncertainty problem that arises when the original response function is approximated by a metamodel using a finite set of response values. The last one is a prognostics problem, in which the unknown parameters of the degradation model are estimated based on the monitored data.

  • We study the one-sided regularity of matrices in upper triangular matrix rings in relation with the structure of diagonal entries. We next consider a ring theoretic condition that ab being regular implies ba being also regular for elements a, b in a given ring. Rings with such a condition are said to be commutative at regular product (simply, CRP rings). CRP rings are shown to be contained in the class of directly finite rings, and we prove that if R is a directly finite ring that satisfies the descending chain condition for principal right ideals or principal left ideals, then R is CRP. We obtain in particular that the upper triangular matrix rings over commutative rings are CRP.

Performance Analysis of a Finite-Buffer Discrete-Time Queueing System with Fixed-Sized Bulk-service

  • We consider a finite-buffer discrete-time queueing system with fixed-size bulk-service discipline: Geo/ $G^{B}$1/K+B. The main purpose of this paper is to present a performance analysis of this system that has a wide range of applications in Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) and other related telecommunication systems. For this purpose, we first derive the departure-epoch probabilities based on the embedded Markov chain method. Next, based on simple rate in and rate out argument, we present stable relationships for the steady-state probabilities of the queue length at different epochs: departure, random, and arrival. Finally, based on these relationships, we present various useful performance measures of interest such as the moments of number of packets in the system at three different epochs and the loss probability. The numerical results are presented for a deterministic service-time distribution - a case that has gained importance in recent years.s.

  • The paper considers empirical Bayes (EB) and hierarchical Bayes (HB) predictors of the finite population mean under a linear regression model with measurement errors We discuss how to calculate the mean squared prediction errors of the EB predictors using jackknife methods and the posterior standard deviations of the HB predictors based on the Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods. A simulation study is provided to illustrate the results of the preceding sections and compare the performances of the proposed procedures.

  • In this paper we consider the set of all n + 1-tuples of real numbers, not necessarily all distinct, in the decreasing order from the unit interval under the usual ordering of real numbers, always including 1. Such n + 1-tuples inherently arise as the membership values of fuzzy subsets and are called keychains. An natural equivalence relation is introduced on this set and the equivalence classes of keychains are studied here. The number of such keychains is finite and the set of all keychains is a lattice under the coordinate-wise ordering. Thus keychains are subchains of a finite chain of real numbers in the unit interval. We study some of their properties and give some applications to counting fuzzy subsets of finite sets.
