  • We study tidal disruption and subsequent mass fallback process for stars approaching supermassive black holes on bound orbits, by performing three dimensional Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics simulations with a pseudo-Newtonian potential. We find that the mass fallback rate decays with the expected -5/3 power of time for parabolic orbits, albeit with a slight deviation due to the self-gravity of the stellar debris. For eccentric orbits, however, there is a critical value of the orbital eccentricity, significantly below which all of the stellar debris is bound to the supermassive black hole. All the mass therefore falls back to the supermassive black hole in a much shorter time than in the standard, parabolic case. The resultant mass fallback rate considerably exceeds the Eddington accretion rate and substantially differs from the -5/3 power of time. We also show that general relativistic precession is crucial for accretion disk formation via circularization of stellar debris from stars on moderately eccentric orbits.

  • The entanglement effects were described by means of holes through which the network chain must pass. Inhomogeneous entanglement effects were related to the hole distributions on the surface and in the center of spheres in the network chains. It was assumed that holes were subjected to the affiance deformation and the network chains were gaussian distribution. The results of this model calculation was compared with the compression- extension experimental data of PDMS (polydimethyl siloxane) rubber, and then hole's relative position was known to be in the center of two adjacent holes.

  • Thin film capacitors with Al-Polymer-Al sandwich structure were fabricated. The bottom and top aluminium (Al) electrodes were deposited by vacuum evaporation and copper phthalocyanine (CuPc), polyaniline-emeraldine base (Pani-EB) and cobalt phthalocyanine/polyaniline - emeraldine base (CoPc /Pani-EB) blend films (which can be used as buffer hole injection layer in OLEDs) were deposited by spin coating technique. X-ray diffractograms indicated amorphous nature of the polymer films whose thicknesses were measured by capacitance and Rutherford Backscattering Spectrometry (RBS) methods. AC conduction studies revealed that the conduction mechanism responsible in these films is variable range hopping of polarons. From D.C conduction studies, it is observed that, the nature of conduction is ohmic in the lower fields and at higher fields the dominating D.C conduction is of Poole-Frenkel type.

  • A jet plasmoid model for 3C.449 has been constructed by introducing a plasma.ejecting black hole orbiting around the center of its parent cD galaxy. We examined the characteristics of the jet trajectory by varying the values of (1) orbiting radius and velocity of the black hole, (2) plasma ejection velocity, (3) size, mass and space velocity of the parent galaxy, (4) size of the galactic core and (5) the density of the intergalactic medium. In our model calculation the effect of the gravity by the parent galaxy and the ram pressure by the intergalactic medium have been taken in account. It is found that our dynamical model accounts reasonably well for the observed structure of 3C449. Our proposed model suggests that the buoyancy force near the galactic center plays an important role in the formation of the curved structure of the radio jet.

  • Through dark injection space-charge-limited current (DI-SCLC) and trap-free SCLC measurements, it has been demonstrated that an indium tin oxide (ITO)/buckminsterfullerene ($C_{60}$) electrode can form a quasi-Ohmic contact with N, N'-bis (naphthalen-1-yl)-N, N'-bis(phenyl) benzidine (NPB). The DI-SCLC results show a clear peak current along with a shift of the peak position as the field intensity varies, implying an Ohmic (or quasi-Ohmic) contact. A theoretical simulation of the SCLC also shows that ITO/$C_{60}$ forms an Ohmic contact with NPB. The Ohmic contact makes it possible to estimate the NPB hole mobility through the use of both DI-SCLC and trap-free SCLC analysis. This also contributes to a reduction in power consumption.

  • To design mechanical ventilation for bathroom of apartment houses where air supply and exhaust are taken Into consideration, mock-ups of ventilation systems, widely used in bathroom of apartment houses with an area of 100$m^2$, were made and installed in a laboratory, These ventilation mock-ups were available for control of air supply and exhaust, and the size of supply openings were 40cm$\times$1cm, 40cm$\times$3cm, 40cm$\times$5cm. They were installed at five positions, spaced 40cm at a height of 25cm from the floor. and the position of exhaust fans were four corners and center Exhaust fan established each one on corner of the ceiling and one in center. As result that measure ventilation effect by each condition, size of hole that supply air is big, and ventilation effect took effect to be good establishment location is low, Also, distance of exhaust fan is far with hole that supply air, ventilation effect took effect by superior thing.

  • A study on predicting the joint strength of mechanically fastened woven glass/epoxy composite has been performed. An experimental and numerical study were carried out to determine the characteristic length and joint strength of composite joint. The characteristic lengths for tension and compression were determined from the tensile and compressive test with a hole respectively. The characteristic lengths were evaluated by applying the point stress failure criterion to a specimen containing a hole at the center subjected to tensile loading and a specimen containing a half circular notch at the center subjected to compressive load. The joint strength was evaluated by the Tsai-Wu and Yamada-Sun failure criterion on the characteristic curve. The predicted results of the joint strength were compared with experimental results.

  • Measurements of supermassive black hole (SMBH) masses are crucial in studying the co-evolution of SMBHs and their host galaxies. Although reverberation mapping is the most accurate method known to date, this requires spectroscopic monitoring over long periods. Thus, the current sample barely reaches three digits. The virial method, on the other hand, uses emission-line and continuum properties from a single spectrum to estimate the SMBH mass; hence the name single-epoch method. The Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) has observed spectra of almost all quasi-stellar objects (QSOs) discovered so far. Building on previous studies, using the single-epoch method, we estimate the SMBH masses of more than 500,000 QSOs from the SDSS DR14 Quasar Catalog. This increases the mass-estimated SMBH sample almost by a factor of two, and especially more for the low-mass regime, which was the main target of SDSS-IV (eBOSS).

  • This Paper is concerned with the fracture behavoir of Unidirectional Laminate(UD) and the characteristic length of Multidirectional Laminate(MD) around hole under the Uniform Tensial Strain. Two fracture mechanical concepts of the Waddoups-Eisenman-Kaminski(WEK) model based on the Linear Elastic Fracture Mechanics(LEFM) and the Whitney-Nuismer Model based on Point and Average Stress Criteria were applied. The characteristic length of a laminate with a hole is then obtained using the coefficient of stress reduction and the experimental results, and it can be utilized in predicting the stress level at which the specimen will fracture. The results of the fracture characteristics and the strength of the specimens having a hole in the center can be used as the important experimental data in the research branch of the mechanical fastening of laminated structures. The Ultrasonic scanning and the Acoustic Emission(AE) method were utilized in order to find out the initial defects and the fracture behavior, respectively.

  • The unique compact radio source, Sgr $A^*$, at the Galactic center show many observational signs that it is powered by supermassive black hole. Recent observations also imply that it is surrounded by winds from nearby IR sources. So we explore the model in which multiwavelength spectrum from Sgr $A^*$ is due to the spherical accretion of these winds onto the central supermassive black hole. Improving upon the previous work, we allowed the possibility that ions and electrons have different temperatures, included the Compton effects and pair processes. Electrons radiate via cyclosynchrotron and bresstrahlung with comptoniztion. We find that ion approaches the virial temperature ${\sim}10^{13}K$ while electron temperature saturates at ${\sim}10^{10}K$. However, decoupling between ion and electron does not greatly affect the shape of the emission spectrum. When the mass of the black hole is ${\sim}10^6M_{\odot}$, radio, IR, X-ray, $\gamma$-ray band spectrum is reasonably explained by the model. Yet Compton effect which is neglected in previous works produces significant emission in IR band, which is marginally compatible with observations. Pair production is negligible and annihilation lines cannot be observed.
