모델링 및 전산모사를 통한 연료전지공정의 제어전략에 관한 연구 (Modeling, simulation and control strategy for the fuel cell process)

  • This study focuses on the optimal operation and control strategy of the fuel cell process. The control objective of the Phosphoric Acid Fuel Cell (PAFC) is established and dynamic modeling equations of the entire fuel cell process are formulated as discrete-time type. On-line optimal control of the MIMO system employs the direct decomposition-coordination method. The objective function is modified as the tracking form to enhance the response capability to the load change. The weight factor matrices Q,R, which are design parameters, are readjusted. This control system is compared with LQI method and the results show that the suggested method is better than the traditional method in pressure difference control.

  • 셀 기반 유한 차분법을 사용하여 P파 속도와 밀도 변화를 고려한 3차원 시간 영역 음향 파동 전파 모델링에서 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 방법을 살펴보았다. 일반적인 유한 차분법에서는 격자점에 탄성파 속도 또는 밀도와 같은 물성을 할당하고 계산하지만 셀 기반 유한 차분법에서는 이러한 물성을 격자점 사이의 셀에 할당한다. 격자점에서의 차분식 계산을 위해서는 주변 셀의 물성 평균값을 이용하는데 이로 인해 일반적인 유한 차분법에 비해 계산량이 증가하게 된다. 이 연구에서는 이러한 계산량 문제를 개선하기 위해 메모리를 추가로 사용하여 모델링 시간을 30 % 이상 줄일 수 있었다. 또한 밀도가 제한적으로 변화하는 매질에서 셀 기반 유한 차분법과 일반 유한 차분법을 함께 사용하여 모델링 성능을 추가로 향상시킬 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, we propose a method of cooperative control(T-cell modeling) and selection of group behavior strategy(B-cell modeling) based on immune system in distributed autonomous robotic system(DARS). Immune system is living body's self-protection and self-maintenance system. Thus these features can be applied to decision making of optimal swarm behavior in dynamically changing environment. For the purpose of applying immune system to DARS, a robot is regarded as a B cell, each environmental condition as an antigen, a behavior strategy as an antibody and control parameter as a T-call respectively. The executing process of proposed method is as follows. When the environmental condition changes, a robot selects an appropriate behavior strategy. And its behavior strategy is stimulated and suppressed by other robot using communication. Finally much stimulated strategy is adopted as a swarm behavior strategy. This control scheme is based of clonal selection and idiotopic network hypothesis. And it is used for decision making of optimal swarm strategy. By T-cell modeling, adaptation ability of robot is enhanced in dynamic environments.

셀 방법을 이용한 3차원 원형 브레이드 유리 섬유 강화 복합 재료의 구성 방정식 (Constitutive Equations for Three Dimensional Circular Braided Glass Fiber Reinforced Composites Using Cell Modeling Method)

  • The cell modeling homogenization method to derive the constitutive equation considering the microstructures of the fiber reinforced composites has been previously developed for composites with simple microstructures such as 2D plane composites and 3D rectangular shaped composites. Here, the method has been further extended for 3D circular braided composites, utilizing B-spline curves to properly describe the more complex geometry of 3D braided composites. For verification purposes, the method has been applied for orthotropic elastic properties of the 3D circular braided glass fiber reinforced composite, in particular for the tensile property. Prepregs of the specimen have been fabricated using the 3D braiding machine through RTM (resin transfer molding) with epoxy as a matrix. Experimentally measured uniaxial tensile properties agreed well with predicted values obtained fer two volume fractions.

광통신용 박막필터형 광소자 분석을 위한 최적화 모델링과 특성분석 (The characteristics and optimal modeling of input source for optical device using thin film filter in optical telecommunication network)

  • 본 논문에서는 광전송시스템에서 파장분할다중화 광소자로 사용되는 박막필터형 광소자의 특성 분석 및 평가를 위해 입력광원을 모델링 하였으며 광경로에 대해 광선추적법을 사용하여 전산모의 한 광특성을 실험과 비교, 분석하였다. 그 결과 입력광원에 대한 cell 방식의 모델링이 결합효율의 정확도 및 가우시안 강도분포에 접근성을 볼 때 마이크로 옵틱스형 광소자 분석함에 있어 적합함을 알 수 있다. 박막필터형 광소자에 대한 최적 전산모의 결과 광섬유와 GRIN 렌즈 사이 거리가 0.24mm이며 GRIN 렌즈와 박막필터 사이 거리가 0.25mm일 때 최대 결합효율은 -0.11 ㏈이었으며 동일한 조건에의 실험결과 -0.35 ㏈의 최대 결합효율을 얻었다. 이것은 단심 및 이심페룰, GRIN 렌즈 등과 같은 구성품의 불완전성과 박막필터에 의한 손실을 고려할 때, 전산모의 결과와 매우 일치하는 것으로서 본 연구에서 제안한 입력광원의 모델링을 적용한 전산모의가 박막필터형 광소자의 특성을 예측할 수 있음을 보였다.

  • This study presents the integrated modeling approach to simulate the proton exchange membrane [PEM] fuel cell system for vehicle application. The fuel cell system consisting of stack and balance of plant (BOP) was simulated with MATLAB/Simulink environment to estimate the maximum system power and investigate the effect of BOP component sizing on system performance and efficiency. The PEM fuel cell stack model was established by using a semi-empirical modeling. To maximize the net efficiency of fuel cell system, multi-variable optimization code was adopted. Using this method, the optimized operating values were obtained according to various system net power levels. The fuel cell model established was co-linked to AVL CRUISE, a vehicle simulation package. Through the vehicle simulation software, the fuel economy of fuel cell powered electric vehicle for two types of driving cycles was presented and compared. It is expected that this study can be effectively employed in the basic BOP component sizing and in establishing system operation map with respect to net power level of fuel cell system.

This paper reviews methods for predicting marine fuel cell performance, including empirical approaches, physical modeling, data-driven techniques, and hybrid methods. Accurate prediction models tailored to the marine environment's unique conditions are crucial for operational efficiency. By evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of each method, this study provides a comprehensive analysis of effective strategies for forecasting polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell and solid oxide fuel cell performance in marine applications. These insights contribute to the advancement of eco-friendly shipping technologies and enhance fuel cell performance in challenging marine environments.
