We have summarized a large part of the history of Korean medicine from a macroscopic perspective. However, many aspects still remain incomplete from a microscopic perspective. This is partly because the society under the Chosun dynasty was dominated by the gentry class and they were not active in the field of medicine. However, another reason is that, unlike the Chinese, these people left behind few medical case records (醫案, eui-an) that vividly describe the treatment methods prevalent during those times. This may be attributed to the fact that during those times, the focus of medical doctors was not on recording their knowledge and experiences, but on simplification of diagnosis and treatments for practical use. However, since medical case records of any era provide an insight into the state of medical provision at that time, they could play an important role in providing concrete knowledge regarding the state of medicine under the Chosun dynasty, and in understanding the uniqueness of Korean medicine in detail. Therefore, in this article we discuss the recently discovered Gyeongheombang (經驗方), which is archived at the Korea University, and through this we aim to add a new source of detailed information on Korean medicine, and to identify the potential of Korean medicine by demonstrating its uniqueness.

With industrialization in urban area communities containing local cultures are becoming hard to be preserved. Therefore, this study aims to develop acquisition policy of record as an way to activate the community by using the locality records containing strong regional characteristics. This study examined the history, current status and problems of district in Daegu Yakjeon alley and extracted the types of records and the components of communities. As an acquisition plan, this study developed step-by-step acquisition policy based on the results of analysis on the archives of Shiheung Varagi Archives case, the records of Chongneung Village Records case and Stadtteilarchiv Ottensen.

The Korea Democracy Foundation's archives offer its collection of records about Korean democratization movements through "Open-Archives," allowing users to read and use them conveniently. One particular article aimed to promote an overall understanding of its photo database to offer more promising services through the "Open-Archives." Similarly, many different archives hold photographic records, but they have difficulty releasing them to the public. Therefore, the present study introduced the case of Korea Democracy Foundation's project of building a photo database for Tony Chung in 2019-2020 to improve its establishment process, significance, and future tasks.

Purpose: In an infinite market competition, companies are adopting management systems to gain a competitive advantage. The expectancy effect of the management system is management performance improvement and accurate measurements. These can be made through quality records with integrity and maintainability. This paper examines the operation of records management standards, which are records, storage and management standards for quality records to understand the needs of records management standards and empathize with their needs. Methods: This paper examines PEC's (Pields Engineering Co., Ltd.) specific processes and standards for integrating individual management systems and establishing records management standards. We also look at the specific features of the Search Tool and Document Storage Management Standards that support records management standards. Results: The integration process of PEC's individual management system consists of five steps. A PDCA-based process was established to erode the confusion and inefficiencies caused by overlap between individual management systems. Also, by accurately grasping corporate competence, PEC established a record management standard suitable for the characteristics of the company. PEC's records management standards are used as a useful standard for organizing quality records, and have an impact on management performance improvement. Conclusion: PEC's records management standards enable the verification of quality performance rates and performance measures. Companies can implement appropriate quality improvement strategies based on the numbers identified by introducing records management standards. Companies can succeed in improving management performance when operating quality management that combines performance measurement techniques and records management standards.

The purpose of this study is to propose a different classification method for keeping a record of cases. After proving that criminal case files should be counted as one type of case files, based on their characteristics and characteristics, this research analyzes the current process of criminal case filling at Public Prosecutor's Office to point out some problems. This study suggests a new classification system: at first, each case gets classified based on a case: secondary, the data gets further assorted by the chronological procedures. The classification approach, which is adopted from MoReq 2's Workflow method, is more adjustable to the new electronic filing system.

The study aims to investigate research trends in the UK records management field and compare the results with domestic research by analyzing research articles published in Archives and Records for the UK's research trends and The Korean Journal of Archival Studies (KJAS) for domestic ones. The study analyzed 318 articles published in KJAS and 142 articles published in Archives and Records since 2013, when the journal changed its title from Journal of the Society of Archivists, to investigate the distribution of authors, including the ratio of coauthorship and authors' affiliations. A set of 1,251 unique terms were extracted from KJAS, and 508 unique terms were extracted from Archives and Records for keyword co-occurrence network analyses. The result shows that the main research topics for KJAS include studies on (1) records management in general, such as archives, records, records management, and archival information service, (2) public records management, (3) personal or private records management, and (4) the techniques for records management, such as archival appraisal, selection, and disposition. In Archives and Records, (1) there are several case studies related to community and local archives, and (2) studies related to records management techniques, such as records description, appraisal, access, preservation, and service, have been performed continuously; furthermore, (3) studies on the digitization of oral history and audiovisual records are also one of the most researched areas.

"承政院日記" is a journal written by the scribes belonging to the Royal Secretariat and consists of objective and detailed records about events, dialogs, and actions that happened in the presence of the king and also collections of all the documents output by the Royal Secretariat. The medicine-related records in "承政院日記" are mainly records of the medical examination and treatment of the king and the royal family and related documents of operation. Of the many different entries involved with clinical practices, this study focuses on the medical examination and treatment of the king. Through the case studies displayed in the clinical records of "承政院日記", trial and error of its time as well as clinical results can be verified. Sorting out of affirmative tradition that could not be handed down due to institutional interruption is also made possible through comparison of effective treatment methods of late Chosun dynasty including patterns or distinctive methods of treating specific diseases against their counterparts in Traditional Korean Medicine of today.

This study proposes an effective direction for operating the "Korea Baseball of Fame" based on baseball records. To clarify problems, a literature review on the case analysis of the "Hall of Fame" of the United States and Japan, an assortment and management of Korean baseball records, and a consultation with officials who work in the baseball industry were progressed. In conclusion, this study suggested building an archive database to operate the "Korea Baseball Hall of Fame" effectively. First, archives will be collected, and then managed and utilized at the "Korea Baseball Hall of Fame." Second, to preserve the memories of baseball heroes, an oral archive will be constructed. Third, baseball records will be assorted and stored in a database.

Destruction appraisal system improved with the enactment of the 1999 Public Records Management Act has the strategic concepts to prevent loss of important records with prohibiting the destruction in creation organization of records. But destruction appraisal carried out in record center realistically has the big difference with destruction appraisal system intended by Public Records Management Act. Therefore this article intends to explore the importance of destruction appraisal system through a review of the record appraisal system, and investigates operation status of destruction appraisal system in record center and operational issues. And it intends to explore scheme for practical application of destruction appraisal system based on actual cases of destruction appraisal which operates as a model.

After the revision of the Enforcement Decree of the Public Records Act, the archives created a management standard table for data set records management and performed management and control. Therefore, in this study, the data set record identification procedure and evaluation index were developed for systematic data set record management of archives. By applying this, a management standard table was prepared after identifying the records of 8 datasets in kr's electronic procurement system, and the evaluation was carried out according to the evaluation index, and the retention period, transfer, and collection were determined. It is hoped that this case study will be of practical use to the archives at a time when concrete examples of procedures for the management of dataset records are lacking.
