카마스터의 지각된 핵심역량 수준이 고객만족에 미치는 영향: 고객접점(MOT)품질의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Influence of the Car Master's Recognized Core Capability level in Achieving Customer Satisfaction: Emphasis on Mediating Effect of Moment of Truth Quality)

  • Purpose - This research identifies the meaning of the core capability level of Car Master and the reason why its service at the Moment of Truth should be demonstrated through empirical cases. It can be seen that this study differs from existing research because it proposes that the recognized core capability level to achieve customer satisfaction should focus on the mediating effect of Moment of Truth quality. This paper examines the effect of Car Master's recognized core capability level on customer satisfaction by using the variables mentioned above. Moreover, this study uses regression analysis to verify that the mediating effect of Moment of Truth quality on Car Master's capability level achieves customer satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology - First, we present evidence that could apply to Car Master's recognized core capability level by detailing the relationship between customer satisfaction and a structuring factor for Car Master's core capability level. Our proposed research model observes the relationship between the structuring factor of core capability and customer satisfaction. Second, we had an opportunity to define how the core capability and Moment of Truth quality affect customer satisfaction by performing empirical analysis on the partial mediating effect of Moment of Truth quality at a recognized core capability level and Moment of Truth quality affecting customer satisfaction. Results - First, the results indicate that Car Master's recognized core capability level (product professionalism, marketing skill, and reliability) positively affects customer satisfaction. Second, the results show that an ability to listen and a sense of dedication positively affect customer satisfaction, and are among the Moment of Truth quality factors; but performance capability, which is one of the Moment of Truth quality factors, does not positively affect customer satisfaction. These results clearly differ from prior studies focused on Moment of Truth quality and consumer satisfaction. Third, the results show that Moment of Truth quality has a partial mediating effect in terms of the impact of Car Master's recognized core capability level in achieving consumer satisfaction. Conclusions - This research indicates that the company will be able to expand if they investigate and show an interest in more training and education for Car Master. The study verified that outstanding Car Masters show differentiated performance on customer satisfaction at the Moment of Truth in various instances. Thus, we believe that this is the time for a discussion on systematic and empirically recognized core capability levels and the Moment of Truth quality. The study on Car Master's recognized core capability level offers suitable solutions for Car Masters to respond to customers at the Moment of Truth. Further, this study emphasizes the importance of service as a critical factor having a direct relationship with the company's success and failure and contributing to building trust with the customer. Thus, an investment in continuous education and training for Car Master will help the growth of the business.

  • This study is suggest the test system for BIM(Building Information Modeling) qualification. And this study is the field-based BIM educational program with the acquisition of the qualifying certificates. Since field-based BIM and Curriculum(of University and Junior College) are highly linked to the actual practical affairs, the learning connected to the practical affairs out of the teaching focused on BIM modeling would satisfy students, and it would make the acquisition of the certificates which determinate the capability of the practical affairs. Thus teachers should guide students to get the certificates thoroughly, make them understand the importance of the acquisition of the certificates.

Application of artificial neural network for determination of wind induced pressures on gable roof

  • Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) have the capability to develop functional relationships between input-output patterns obtained from any source. Thus ANN can be conveniently used to develop a generalised relationship from limited and sometimes inconsistent data, and can therefore also be applied to tackle the data obtained from wind tunnel tests on building models with large number of variables. In this paper ANN model has been developed for predicting wind induced pressures in various zones of a Gable Building from limited test data. The procedure is also extended to a case wherein interference effects on a gable roof building by a similar building are studied. It is found that the Artificial Neural Network modelling is seen to predict successfully, the pressure coefficients for any roof slope that has not been covered by the experimental study. It is seen that ANN modelling can lead to a reduction of the wind tunnel testing effort for interference studies to almost half.

  • Preliminary results of the dynamic analysis of a two-fluid molten-salt breeder reactor (MSBR) system are presented. Based on an earlier work on the preliminary dynamic model of the concept, the model presented here is nonlinear and has been revised to accurately reflect the design exemplified in ORNL-4528. A brief overview of the model followed by results from simulations performed to validate the model is presented. Simulations illustrate stable behavior of the reactor dynamics and temperature feedback effects to reactivity excursions. Stable and smooth changes at various nodal temperatures are also observed. Control strategies for molten-salt reactor operation are discussed, followed by an illustration of the open-loop load-following capability of the molten-salt breeder reactor system. It is observed that the molten-salt breeder reactor system exhibits "self-regulating" behavior, minimizing the need for external controller action for load-following maneuvers.

Conjoined Tower Structures for Mile-High Tall Buildings

  • Tall buildings are one of the most viable solutions to deal with the global phenomenon of rapid population increase and urbanization. While tall buildings are an essential building type to accommodate ever-growing urban population, as buildings become very tall they also produce many critical design challenges related to social interactions, emergency egress, structural systems, etc. While many different design solutions can be sought to resolve these challenging issues of tall buildings, this paper investigates potential of conjoined towers in producing more livable and sustainable megatall building complexes with an emphasis on their capability in efficiently providing exceedingly tall building structures.

  • With taller buildings and larger typhoons, the impact of building winds is growing. During the 11th Typhoon Hinnamno in 2022, the building wind in Busan L City exceeded 60m/s, reaching the highest speed ever. Although many studies have been conducted on reducing the wind load of buildings, which is one of the problem factors caused by strong wind speed, there is a lack of research on wind speed reducing sculptures that can directly control strong wind speed. In this paper, several types of wind speed reduction sculptures were proposed to solve these problems, and the wind speed reduction capability of the proposed sculptures was analyzed through computational fluid dynamics (CFD). These results can contribute to suggesting effective design methods for improving the urban environment and reducing pedestrian stress.

  • Airborne LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology has reached a degree of the required accuracy in mapping professions, and advanced LIDAR systems are becoming increasingly common in the various fields of application. LiDAR data constitute an excellent source of information for reconstructing the Earth's surface due to capability of rapid and dense 3D spatial data acquisition with high accuracy. However, organizing the LIDAR data and extracting information from the data are difficult tasks because LIDAR data are composed of randomly distributed point clouds and do not provide sufficient semantic information. The main reason for this difficulty in processing LIDAR data is that the data provide only irregularly spaced point coordinates without topological and relational information among the points. This study introduces an efficient and robust method for automatic extraction of building footprints using airborne LIDAR data. The proposed method separates ground and non-ground data based on the histogram analysis and then rearranges the building boundary points using convex hull algorithm to extract building footprints. The method was implemented to LIDAR data of the heavily built-up area. Experimental results showed the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed method for automatic producing building layers of the large scale digital maps and 3D building reconstruction.

창조적 보육센터 역량강화 방안에 관한 탐색적 연구: 대학 보육센터를 중심으로 (The Exploratory study of Capacity Building for Creative Incubation Center: Focus on the University Business Incubator)

  • 중소기업청은 대학 및 연구기관의 인적(교수, 연구원) 물적(설비, 공간) 자원을 활용하기 위하여 1998년부터 최근까지 약 4,000여억원의 예산을 투입하여 창업보육센터(Business Incubator, BI)의 건립 및 운영을 지원하여 왔다. 그 결과 2013년 말 기준으로 5,500여개의 기업이 보육공간에 입주하여 매출 1조 6천억원과 고용인력 1만 6천여명을 성과를 창출하였다. 하지만 이러한 양적인 성장에도 불구하고 하드웨어 중심의 지원, 기관 내 자원의 활용부족, 민간부문과의 협력부족, 스타기업 발굴 부진 등의 여러 문제점이 노출되었다. 본 연구는 이러한 질적 성장의 한계점에 봉착한 창업보육센터의 역량강화 및 혁신방안을 모색하기 위하여 창의성 개념을 도입하여 센터의 개선방향을 제시하고자 한다. 특히 죽음의 계곡을 극복하는 방법으로서 기술사업화의 관점에서 역량, 제품, 시장이라는 CPM(Capability, Product, Market) 조합이 원활히 될 수 있도록 보육센터의 역할을 제시하였다. 또한 대학 내 자원의 유기적 연계를 제안하였다.

종합건설기업의 직접 시공과 건설 품질 사이의 관련성에 대한 실증분석 (An Empirical Analysis of the Relationship between Direct Construction Approach and Construction Quality in General Construction Companies)

  • 본 연구는 원도급 건설회사의 직접 시공 비중이 낮을수록 건축물의 하자를 유발하는 중요한 원인이 될 수 있다는 점에 대하여 2017년에서 2021년까지 기업 재무 데이터를 바탕으로 실증분석모형(ERM, Empirical Research Model)을 이용해 검증하였다. 그 결과 직접 시공 비중이 낮을수록 건설 품질을 저하시키는 주요 원인이 된다는 점을 확인하였고, 본 연구는 건설품질을 높이기 위해서 직접 시공 의무를 강화해야 한다는 주장을 이론적으로 뒷받침하는 실증분석이라는 점에서 그 의미을 가진다.

BEPAT: A platform for building energy assessment in energy smart homes and design optimization

  • Energy simulation tools can provide information on the amount of heat transfer through building envelope components, which are considered the main sources of heat loss in buildings. Therefore, it is important to improve the quality of outputs from energy simulation tools and also the process of obtaining them. In this paper, a new Building Energy Performance Assessment Tool (BEPAT) is introduced, which provides users with granular data related to heat transfer through every single wall, window, door, roof, and floor in a building and automatically saves all the related data in text files. This information can be used to identify the envelope components for thermal improvement through energy retrofit or during the design phase. The generated data can also be adopted in the design of energy smart homes, building design tools, and energy retrofit tools as a supplementary dataset. BEPAT is developed by modifying EnergyPlus source code as the energy simulation engine using C++, which only requires Input Data File (IDF) and weather file to perform the energy simulation and automatically provide detailed output. To validate the BEPAT results, a computer model is developed in Revit for use in BEPAT. Validating BEPAT's output with EnergyPlus "advanced output" shows a difference of less than 2% and thus establishing the capability of this tool to facilitate the provision of detailed output on the quantity of heat transfer through walls, fenestrations, roofs, and floors.
