저발열량 가스의 혼소엔진 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Applicability to Dual-Fuel Engine of Low Caloric Gas)

  • 최근 들어 유럽 및 미국을 중심으로 각광받고 있는 가스화 열병합 설비는 석탄이나 바이오매스, 폐기물로부터 지역의 전기 및 냉난방 에너지를 공급하는 중소형 규모의 에너지 시스템으로서 시장적 측면이나 기술적 측면에서 그 활용 가능성이 매우 밝은 것으로 예견되고 있다. 가스화로부터 얻어지는 합성가스는 일반적으로 가스엔진, 스털링 엔진, 마이크로 가스터빈 및 중소형 가스터빈 등이 원동기 연료로 사용될 수 있다. 그러나 가스화를 통한 합성가스는 일반적으로 LPG, CNG와 같은 고발열량 가스연료에 비해 발열량이 낮고, 반응성 및 화염속도도 매우 큰 차이를 보인다. 본 연구는 저발열량의 합성가스연료를 이용한 고효율 전소엔진 개발의 전 단계로서 60kW급 디젤혼소엔진을 개발하였다. 저발열량의 합성가스를 모사하기 위해 CNG에 질소를 희석한 연료를 사용하였으며, 디젤 연료 분사를 제어하기 위한 인젝터 드라이버 및 ECU를 적용하였다.

전처리 방법 적용에 의한 우분의 열량값 변화 (Change of Heating Value of Cow Manure According to Pre-treatment)

  • 우분을 전처리하는 방법을 적용함에 따라 열량값이 변화하는 정도를 측정하는 실험을 수행하였다. 전처리 방법으로는 퇴비화 방법, 건식 혐기소화 방법, 물리적 압착 방법 등 3가지 방법을 적용하였다. 실험결과, 우분을 퇴비화하거나 혐기소화를 실시하는 경우에 열량값이 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 퇴비화 처리를 적용하였을 경우 완숙퇴비의 열량값은 퇴비화 초기 원료에 비해 약 5% 정도 감소하였다. 우분을 건식 혐기소화한 뒤 수거된 혐기소화 잔재물의 열량값은 혐기소화 원료로 사용한 우분에 비해 약 25.7% 정도가 감소하였다. 우분을 압착하는 방법에 의해 수분을 감소시킨 경우에는 압착을 거친 우분의 열량값이 압착 전의 원료 우분에 비해 약간 높아지는 결과를 보였다. 또한 총 고형물 중에서 휘발성 고형물이 차지하는 비율도 높아진 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 우분을 압착하는 과정에서 발생된 침출수의 열량값과 총 고형물 중의 휘발성 고형물의 비율은 원료로 사용한 우분에 비해 더 낮아졌다.

  • Korea's energy consumption has been constantly increasing. Final energy consumption was increased by an annual average of 2.9% compared to 2010. The consumption of all energy sources except for its oil was increased during the same time. While electric demand has increased coal consumption increased rapidly. Therefore, calorfic value and carbon emission factor development can improve the quality of Korea's greenhouse gas inventory. Calorific value is the amount of heat generated while burning coal. Caloric value is one of the most important factors in the development of carbon emission factors. Calorific value is used as the basis for the analysis of the various energy statistics. This study has calculated the other bituminous coal and coking coal's calorfic value by the data received from domestic coal-fired power plants and steel manufacturer. Calorofic value's trend analysis period is the year of 2010~2014. Through analyzing the carbon content it was calculated the carbon emission factor. The bituminous coal and coking coal's uncertainty analysis was performed using a Monte Carlo simulation.

  • 대표적인 낮은 성능의 액체 연료(Jet A-1)에 고밀도 고에너지특성을 갖는 첨가제를 혼합하였을 때 연료의 물성 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 액체 연료의 주요 인자인 밀도, 점도, 발열량을 중심으로 첨가제혼합에 따른 혼합연료의 물성을 비교 분석하여, 액체 연료(Jet A-1)의 성능향상과 같은 특성변화의 가능성이 있음을 파악하였다.

  • IGCC(Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle) power plant are becoming more attractive because of fuel flexibility and low emission. In this study, performances are evaluated when the low caloric value syngas fuels producted in gasification process is used a gas turbine originally designed naturel gas fuel. Using GateCycle computational thermal analysis model, performances of GE 7FA gas turbine are predicted for using four types of syngas. Also, off design performance is presented for firing syngas fuel in the gas turbine.

  • Power semiconductor which is adapted in the rolling stock has a high practicality for capacity of high voltage and high speed switching. but it has a trouble of fever cause of high speed On, Off switching loss and the operating junction temperature is limited to $150^{/circ}C$ because is made from the silicon for the foundation material. Therefore, it is important to find a way out of this trouble and must make the countermeasure. In this research, the caloric value of the integrated PEM is calculated to adapt the optimized heat pipe and the reliability of the heat pipe is demonstrated through the cooling performance test and vibration test.

  • The demand of clean energy, like liquefied gas(LNG), increase suddenly because it generates few polluting substances when burned and from the point of view with caloric value it generates ralatively less $CO_2$ gas than the other energy sources. LNG transpotion method of our country is marine transportion by ships because the LNG producing district is far away from Korea. Main engines for most LNG ships are steam turbines, and the efficiency of steam turbine is influenced by the degree of vacuum of main steam condenser. This paper introduce the design method of the vacuum system for high efficiency marine steam turbine. Especially, it is developed the CAD program for the large steam condenser and steam ejector. Also, it is designed the pilot plant including high pressure boiler for the performance test and maked a part of this plant.

산업노동자(産業勞動者)의 작업대사량(作業代謝量)과 인력이용(人力利用)에 관(關)한 측정연구(測定硏究) (Study on the Energy Expenditure and Physical Capacity of Koreans in Industry)

  • This study was carried out on the energy expenditure and physical capacity of 504 persons from 17 occupations. The energy expenditure was measured by indirect calorimetry using a Douglas' bag and Scholander's gas analyser. The physical capacity was determined by the Harvard's step test and the maximum oxygen consumption using a treadmill. The assessment of the daily energy expenditure for each subject was made by the factorial method using a record of the activies throughout 24 hours of every survey day. The total daily energy expenditure is the sum of all energy expenditure. This was calculated by multiplying the caloric value of the metabolic rate by the time spent on each activity. Most of the occupations involved moderate or heavy work.

연료와 CO2 농도분석을 이용한 아역청탄 화력발전소의 온실가스 배출계수 개발 (Development of CO2 Emission Factor by Fuel and CO2 analysis at Sub-bituminous Fired Power Plant)

  • The main purpose of this study was to develop the greenhouse gas emission factor for power plant using sub-bituminous coal. In Korea, Fired power plant are a major source of greenhouse gases within the fossil fuel combustion sectors, thus the development of emission factors is necessary to understand the characteristics of the national specific greenhouse gas emission and to develop nation specific emission factors. These emission factors were derived from the $CO_2$ concentrations measurement from stack and fuel analysis of sub-bituminous coal. Caloric value of sub-bituminous coal used in the power plants were 5,264 (as received basis), 5,936 (air-dried basis) and 6,575 kcal/kg (dry basis). The C emission factors by fuel analysis and $CO_2$ concentration measurement was estimated to be 26.7(${\pm}0.9$), 26.3(${\pm}2.8$)tC/MJ, respectively. Our estimates of C emission factors were comparable with IPCC default value.
