연약지반상의 토목섬유보강제방의 설계도표개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Design Chart for Geotextile-reinorced Embankments on Soft Foundations)

  • 본 논문은 연약한 기초지반위의 토목섬유 보강제방의 2차원 안정해석을 위한 설계도표를 제시한다. 반복계산을 수행하기 위하여 보강제방의 요구되어지는 안전율에 필요한 보강재의 인장력을 산정하는 프로그램이 개발되었으며, 이 프로그램은 여러개의 토층과 토질로 이루어진 상황에도 사용될 수 있다. 도식화된 단면에 대하여 많은 계산결과들이 만들어 졌으며, 그 결과들로서 설계도 I를 만들었으며, 정적인 경우와 지진하중을 고려할 경우에도 적용시킬 수 있다. 예비설계단계에서 이러한 도표들을 이용하여 보강제방에 대한 비교적 정확한 보강재의 인장력을 근사적으로 구할 수 있으며, 실시설계단계에서는 개발된 프로그램에 의하여 정확한 결과를 산정할 수 있다.

  • Dimension and tolerance are very important factors both in a design stage and in a manufacturing stage. As a part of process planning, the tolerance transfer aims at determining the method for converting design dimensions and tolerances into manufacturing dimensions and tolerances based on a given drawing. A procedure for the tolerance transfer is proposed in this paper. Tolerance chart is a valuable graphical tool for a process planner to determine the manufacturing dimensions and tolerances, and consisted of several steps. Among several steps necessary for making up the tolerance chart, the methods for the identification of dimension chain, the determination of tolerances, and the calculation of operational dimensions are presented by using concepts and new presentation methods. A solution method for each step is derived which will be used to establish the tolerance transfer techniques.

Flow simulation and efficiency hill chart prediction for a Propeller turbine

  • In the present paper, we focus on the flow computation of a low head Propeller turbine at a wide range of design and off-design operating conditions. First, we will present the results on the efficiency hill chart prediction of the Propeller turbine and discuss the consequences of using non-homologous blade geometries for the CFD simulation. The flow characteristics of the entire turbine will be also investigated and compared with experimental data at different measurement planes. Two operating conditions are selected, the first one at the best efficiency point and the second one at part load condition. At the same time, for the same selected operating points, the numerical results for the entire turbine simulation will be compared with flow simulation with our standard stage calculation approach which includes only guide vane, runner and draft tube geometries.

Welding deformation analysis based on improved equivalent strain method considering the effect of temperature gradients

  • In the present study, the existing equivalent stain method is improved to make up for its weaknesses. The improved inherent strain model is built considering more sophisticated three dimensional constraints which are embodied by six cubic elements attached on three sides of a core cubic element. From a few case studies, it is found that the inherent strain is mainly affected by the changes in restraints induced by changes of temperature-dependent material properties of the restraining elements. On the other hand, the degree of restraints is identified to be little influential to the inherent strain. Thus, the effect of temperature gradients over plate thickness and plate transverse direction normal to welding is reflected in the calculation of the inherent strain chart. The welding deformation can be calculated by an elastic FE analysis using the inherent strain values taken from the inherent strain chart.

  • The voltage unbalance factor derived from symmetrical component analysis requires manipulation of complex quantities. To facilitate the calculation of the voltage unbalance factor in field applications, this paper proposes the method for calculating the voltage unbalance factor in terms of the line voltage magnitudes that are readily available in moat practical circumstances. It is shown that the line voltages appear as circular Phasor loci for given voltage unbalance factor, and a graphical chart is developed that can be used to determine the voltage unbalance factor in a straightforward manner avoiding calculation.

  • A CELTHYM(CEll-based Long-term HYdrologic Model), a pre-processor and a post-processor that can he integrated with geographic information system(GIS) were developed to predict the stream flow of a small agricultural watershed. Three kinds of routines, that are watershed boundary extraction routine(WBER), curve number calculation routine(CNR) and maximum available soil moisture calculation routine(MASR) composed pre-processor that was nicely interfaced with CELTRYM and GIS. Two kinds of routines, grapher and map composer composed post-processor that was well adapted CELTHYM output to chart making and GIS map making. The developed pre-post processor was useful for the GIS integration and spatial comprehension of the CELTHYM output.

국내 중소규모 흙댐의 지진 시 파괴확률 산정 도표 제안 (A Proposal of Seismic Failure Probability Estimation Chart of the Korean Small and Medium Sized Earthfill Dams)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 지반공학적 물성정보가 거의 없는 국내 중소규모 댐의 지진 시 파괴확률을 간편하게 산정할 수 있는 도표를 제시하는 것이다. 기존의 댐의 지진 시 파괴확률을 산정하는 방법 및 절차를 검토하여, 댐의 지반공학적 물성정보와는 상관없이 지진 시 파괴확률이 '0'이 되는 지진파괴확률 영곡선을 댐높이-여유고율 평면에서 쌍곡선의 형태로 결정하였다. 국내 중소규모 댐들의 댐높이-여유고율 분포형태가 지진파괴확률 영곡선과 같이 쌍곡선의 형태를 이루는 것을 확인하여, 다수의 등파괴확률 곡선(seismic failure probability contour)이 댐높이-여유고율 평면에서 일정한 간격의 다수의 쌍곡선들로 표시되는 지진파괴확률 산정 도표를 작성하였다. 작성된 도표는 비교적 관리가 잘 되고, 지반공학적인 정보를 충분히 가진 2개의 중소규모 댐들의 지진 시 파괴 확률 산정에 적용하여, 기존 절차와 방법으로 산정된 결과와 비교하여 적용 타당성을 확인하였다. 향후, 제안된 도표는 중소규모댐의 지진대비 보수보강의 투자 우선순위 등을 고려할 때 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

송전망 이용요금산정을 위한 교육용 시뮬레이터 개발 (Educational Simulator for Transmission Network Use of System Charge)

  • This paper presents a graphical windows-based software for the education and training of the transmission network use of system charge. The developed simulator consist of the main module(MMI,GUI), the power flow module(PF), the power flow tracing module(PFT) and management of usage cost DB module(UCD). Each module has a separate graphical and interactive interfacing window. To have effective education for transmission network use of system charge, the developed simulator are provided with two power system analysis methods. Input data of power system can use the format of PSS/E input data. Also calculation of power flow tracing are provided with four methods such as "Felix Wu","Modified Felix Wu", "DCLF ICRP" and "Reverse MW mile". Results of calculation for usage cost are shown on the window through the table or chart. Therefore user can confirm the detailed differences of results from each calculation method.

  • In this paper we have implemented and tested TPN which is system to supply sufficent nutrition to nutritionally deficient patient by means of ES (expert system) a kind of A.1 (artificial intelligence) . This system affords to evaluation of nutritional state of patient which is essential to physi- cian. who performs TPN, decision of performing TPN and management of patient-data & calculation of information needing to making TPN fluid. The features were as follolv 1. we input data, take ideal weight of patient and 24hr's creatlnln In urine according to chart in system compare TSF (triceps skin fold), MAC (mid-arm circumference), AMC (arm muscle circumference) to 5th, 15th, 50th percentile and evaluate the nutritional state of patient. 2. Calculation of protein & nonprotein calorie needing to treament of patient can be made exactly by stress factor, activity factor and body temperature. 3. patient's personal recording needing to management of patient date name of chief doc- tor, name of department of admission, chart number, history can by taken very easily. 4. The way of system operating is pull-down Menu one, It can be processing very efficiently. 5. Date processing in system, we can manage memory volume of computer verlr efficiently using of dynamic allocation variables. 6. We can make it very easy to edit & revise the input data, processed data is saved to diskette in 2 files (TDF, THF) , these are semipermanent preservation.

Markov 과정의 최초통과시간을 이용한 지수가중 이동평균 관리도의 평균런길이의 계산 (Average run length calculation of the EWMA control chart using the first passage time of the Markov process)

  • 많은 확률과정이 Markov 특성을 만족하거나 근사적으로 만족하는 것으로 가정된다. Markov 과정에서 특히 관심을 끄는 것은 최초통과시간이다. 최초통과시간에 대한 연구는 Wald의 축차분석에서 시작하여 근사적 특성에 대한 많은 연구가 되어왔고 컴퓨터의 발달로 통계계산적 방법이 사용되면서 근사적 결과가 참값에 가까운 값을 계산할 수 있게 되었다. 이 논문은 Markov 과정의 예로서 지수가중 이동평균 관리도를 사용할 때 평균런길이를 계산하는 과정과 계산상의 주의점, 문제점 등을 연구하였다. 이 결과는 다른 모든 Markov 과정에 적용될 수 있으며 특히 Markov 연쇄로의 근사는 확률과정의 특성의 연구에 유용하고 계산적 접근을 용이하게 한다.
