In general, the electronic commerce systems comprise the background system, terminal, network and smart cards. Among them, the smart card systems are expected to take a great portion of applications for the convenience of rapidly improving technology. The technology includes adopting RISC processors or co-processors for cryptography and developing new memory systems based on the standardization. In this paper, we investigate the overall trends of the technology and the standardization process of smart cards. We also propose the guidelines to enhance the capabilities of designing H/W and S/W related to COS(Chip Operating System).

As we know, since Japan's robust economy - which lasted from the mid-1980s to early 1990s (the so-called Bubble Economy) - collapsed in 1991, the country has been enduring a prolonged stagnation period, and experiencing a long wave of economic, financial and political reform. People negatively refer to this period as "the Lost 10 years," suggesting the decade has been spent in vain, with Japan having done constructive for its future. On the contrary, many Korean used to say "the Lost 10 years," We review the background and situation of Japan's and Korea's. Then, Korea have to remember what's the reason in Japan.

Secure digital payment is critical in the successful shaping of global digital business. Digital payments are increasingly being used as a substitute to traditional payments, contributing markedly to the efficiency of the economy. The focus of every digital business transaction is to minimize risks arising from transactions. It is essential to ensure the security of digital payment whether used in internal networks or over wireless Internet. This paper analyses secure digital payment methods from the viewpoint of systemic security and transaction security. According to comparative analysis of digital payment models, this paper proposes a comparative analysis framework to investigate and evaluate secure digital payment. In conclusion, the comparative analysis framework, comparison of digital payment models and mobile payment models proposes a useful academic and practical foundation to enhance the understanding of secure digital payment methods. It also provides academic background and practical guidelines for the development of secure digital payment systems.

The purpose of this study is to inquire into social and cultural background of modernization and the new woman's life centered around a new woman and a dancer, Choi Seung-hee and its style. The study was carried out centered around analysis of content through photos of 179 pieces and a documentary DVD. We analyzed collected photo data and came to know various bobbed hair style, clear makeup style and Art-Deco fashion. Accordingly, Choi Seung-hee has external appearance as a new woman and we came to know she is a representative woman in Korea. Because she crossed over into North Korea, the study has not been actively carried out but if we consider Choi Seung-hee's influence over the dance world, her women's leader and fashion roles at that age, it is considered that the study on Choi Seung-hee's external style has a significant meaning.

Nowadays, multimedia and Hypermedia become hot topics in information industry. Due to high capacity of media storage and fast communication network, it is possible to exchange text data as well as image, moving picture and voice. Especially to apply hypermedia under CALS standard environment, the relation between international standard and CALS standard needs to be considered. This study introduces conceptual background and processing model of HyTime (Hypermedia Time-based Structuring Language) which is a specification of hypermedia exchange, Hyper ODA (Hyper Open Document Architecture) which is a major multimedia communication basis, MMCF (Multimedia Communication Forum), AHM(Amsterdam Hypermedia Model), and DSRM(DAVIC System Reference Model) reference model which helps determination of hypermedia communication specification Although they are international standard, provisional standard or non-standard, it discusses the Possibility of adopting them as CALS standard. Hence, this paper chooses the best recommend for CALS among these models.

The purpose of this research are to enhance the understanding of apparel CAD system and to suggest future research direction in the field of apparel CAD system. To do so, (1) the background and the concept, (2) the adoption situation, (3) the benefits and problems, (4) previous research are discussed. Also factors which can influence the adoption decision of apparel CAD system are Identified and related propositions which can provide the directions to future research are developed. Using the usage level of apparel CAD system adoption as the dependent variables, the selected organizational characteristics, as independent variables, are : firm size, product characteristics, and perception of apparel CAD system benefits.

The writer has attempted in the present article first to investiqate whether shipping industry is poor countries' business more favourable to them, compared to wealthy nations in terms of comparative cost of operation and to analyse how can developing conntries afford to maintain a modern fleet; secondly to examine the economic aspect of the situation created by the UNCTAD V held in May this year, at which passed a resolution demanding "the right of all countries to an equitable participation in the carriage of cargoes generated by their own trade"; and thirdly to adduce conclusions. The article contains six chapters; chapter I is the introduction on the subject under examination; chapter II provides background information on the structure of the industry and of the operating cost of ship; chapter III addresses itself to the legal backgrounds of ensuring free transfer of resources among nations and free competition of shipping; chapter IV deals with the recent development of shipping nationalism of developing countries at the UNCTAD; chapter V discusses division of labour in shipping and in particular the survival mechanism of high-cost countries; and chapter Ⅵ sets forth conclusion.onclusion.

The importance of competitive intelligence (CI), which collects/uses information about competitors, industries, etc., has been increased due to the rapidly changing business environment of today. However, there exist few domestic researches on CI. With this background, a study of domestic companies was performed that examines how the enterprise characteristics, the interest on CI, and the informatization level affect the way/level and outcome of CI. Results showed that bigger enterprises have the higher interest on CI than smaller ones and enterprises having high interest perform CI activities systematically and variously including using the internet. Further, the results uncovered the enterprises performing CI actively use the information acquired from the activity effectively in their business. The results also revealed that there are no difference between the IT companies and the others and that the jnformatization level is irrelevant to the internet CI activity level.

This research chose 135 environmental cleaners in Busan Metropolitan City as subjects. First, the reality of wearing their safety jackets was investigated. Next, visual evaluation of the reflexive function of the current safety jackets was made. Then, based on the above results and the subsequent improvement proposal, the final product, the research costume, was made. 1. Based on the investigation of the wearing reality of safety jackets and the visual evaluation results of the reflexive function, an improvement proposal was made. As cleaners are usually seen sidewise on the roads and lateral luminosity is rather low, this aspect was compensated on the part of a jacket. Also, the reflexive belt used the diagram of ${\Delta}$ to improve visual effects. 2. As the lower body held the accident frequency of 45.0%, the sides of pants had the reflexive belt to increase visibility. 3. In consideration of the mutual effects between the background cloth and general reflexive width, the same width (5cm) of the reflexive belt as that of Type A was adopted.
