Heating and Cooling Load of Building according to Atrium Layout

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to present basic data which would be applied on the early stage of the architectural design. And that determines the introduction of the atrium by comparing and analysing the environmental performance of atrium building. Method: The building forms are classified into low storied building, middle storied building and high storied building. This study compares and analyses energy performance of the standard building without atrium and the atrium building which has one-side, two-side, three-side, four-side, and linear atrium by measuring of annual heating and cooling load with EnergyPlus. Result: As a result of the analysis of the relative annual heating and cooling load by building type, it is shown that the fluctuation of cooling load in low storied building is large because heat storage in atrium affects building, and the fluctuation of heating load in high storied building is large owing to the effect of external wall area of atrium which makes heat loss. Especially, it indicated the largest annual heating and cooling load in four-side atrium of low storied building, and in one-side atrium of high storied building.

자연환기 시스템을 이용한 고층 공동주택의 환기성능 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improving Ventilation Performance in High-rise Residential Building by Natural Ventilation System)

  • This study focuses on developing natural ventilation system which is able to satisfy the good indoor air quality and air speed. The natural ventilation system developed in this study is for double window façade and it has two operation modes for summer and winter. Operational sections of the devices have been analyzed by CFD simulation to calculate discharge coefficients of openings and estimated indoor air speed. For the analysis of the appropriate installation area ratio for each room and the optimum installation area, TRNFLOW simulation has been used. As the results, we could see that the natural ventilation system can provide the similar pollutant removal performance to 0.7 ACH of mechanical ventilation with appropriate installation area and installation area ratio.

  • For the construction of railroads in Metropolytan area based upon the outcome of the future demand forecast, a total of 21 lines including electrified double track segment of Ui-Jung-Bu↔Dong-Du-Chun(18.9km) in Kyung-Won Line is expected. Considering the financial difficulties and investment effect of the lines, this in the sequel brings about an important matter of deforming priority Investment plan to build electrified lines among the candidates. In the case of Japan, Tokyo metropolytan area covered In total by 2,070.1km of various lines, i.e., subway lines(241km), private lines(952.7km), JR lines(876.4km), provides convenient means of transportation for the coummuters and makes a contribution to the development of its neighboring areas and to the expansion of settlement areas. Comparing the total length per 1,000$\textrm{km}^2$, Tokyo(105), Paris(117), and London(115) are at least 6 times as large as ours(15). The purpose of this study is two fold provide a basic scheme for building railroads in metropolytan area and determine priority order in accordance with some evaluation criteria.

무인항공기에서 생성된 포인트 클라우드의 평면성 분석을 통한 자동 건물 모델 생성 기법 (Automatic Building Modeling Method Using Planar Analysis of Point Clouds from Unmanned Aerial Vehicles)

  • 본 논문에서는 저비용으로 생성할 수 있는 무인항공기 기반의 포인트 클라우드를 사용하여 평면성 분석을 통해 지면과 건물 영역을 분리하고 자동으로 건물 모델을 생성하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 총 다섯 단계로 구성된다. 첫 단계에서는 입력되는 포인트 클라우드의 평면성을 분석하여 포인트 클라우드를 구성하는 평면들을 추출하였다. 두 번째 단계에서는 추출된 평면들을 분석하여 지표면에 해당하는 평면을 찾고 포인트 클라우드에서 해당 평면 기준으로 포인트들을 제거하였다. 세 번째 단계에서는 지표면이 제거된 포인트 클라우드를 정사 투영하여 영상을 제작하였다. 네 번째 단계에서는 정사 투영된 영상에서 각각의 객체의 외곽선을 추출하고 외곽선의 넓이와 넓이, 길이 비율을 이용하여 건물 불인정 영역을 제거하였다. 마지막 단계에서는 건물의 지표면 높이와 건물의 높이를 이용하여 건물의 외곽점을 구성하고 3D 건물 모델을 생성하였다. 제안한 방법을 검증하기 위하여 무인항공기 영상을 이용해 제작된 포인트 클라우드를 사용하였으며, 실험을 통해 제안 기법을 통해 무인항공기 기반 포인트 클라우드에서 자동으로 건물의 3D 모델이 생성 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • 최근 스마트 시티, 디지털 트윈 등에 실제 3차원 좌표를 취득할 수 있는 이점에 따라 포인트 클라우드를 이용한 모델 생성에 관한 연구가 늘어나고 있으며, 건물 형상 및 텍스처의 수정이 용이한 솔리드 모델에 대한 요구가 늘어나고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 포인트 클라우드 데이터를 기반으로 군집형 솔리드 건물 모델을 생성하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 총 다섯단계로 구성된다. 첫 단계에서는 포인트 클라우드의 평면성 분석을 통해 지면을 제거하였다. 두 번째 단계에서는 지면이 제거된 포인트 클라우드에서 건물 영역을 추출하였다. 세 번째 단계에서는 건물의 세부 구조물 영역을 추출하였다. 네 번째 단계에서는 추출된 영역에 3차원 좌표정보가 부여된 3차원 건물 모델의 형상을 생성하였다. 마지막 단계에서는 건물 모델 형상에 텍스처를 부여하여 3차원 건물 솔리드 모델을 생성하였다. 제안하는 방법의 검증을 위하여 상용 소프트웨어를 이용해 무인항공기 영상으로부터 포인트 클라우드를 추출하여 실험하였다. 그 결과, 포인트 클라우드 내에 존재하는 일정 높이 이상의 모든 건물에 대하여 포인트 클라우드 대비 위치오차 1 m 내외의 3차원 건물 형상을 생성하고, 원본 영상 해상도 대비 2배 이내의 해상도를 갖는 텍스처링이 수행된 3차원 모델이 생성되는 것을 확인하였다.

Knowledge and Perception Level on Building Equipment Required of CMrs at the Project Design Stage

  • With the rise in the functions required in modern building structures, the role of the building equipment that maintains the functions of a building has been emphasized and increased. Effective management in this area is only possible when the construction manager (CMr) is qualified and has the knowledge of building equipment that is needed. Therefore, in this study, a questionnaire survey was carried out on equipment engineers and CMrs, in order to determine the level of building equipment knowledge required, and to identify the perception level of CMrs about the building equipment in the construction project at the project design stage. The results of this study revealed that the CMrs surveyed had a lower level of knowledge on the building equipment than the level that was desired by the equipment engineers. This indicates that CMrs currently have a weak capacity for the management of building equipment. It is thus necessary for CMrs to undergo systematic training in order learn more about building equipment and thus be able to manage construction projects more efficiently.

다중이용업소 실내마감재료 사용기준에 관한 연구 (A Study on Using the Interior Finishing Material using Regulation at Multiple-using Businesses)

  • There are the relevant provisions that apply to building regulations about the Building codes, Fire Protection laws, and more Multi-using interior finish materials businesses etc. The differences between these regulations are as follows: The Building codes is defined the main use of the building according to facilities to used to set the scale by the use of the floor space, On the other hand, Fire Protection laws are the basic purpose and the act of using the architectural space(or sales) by separating object by fire. And Multiple-using Businesses Facilities consist of two regulations engaged in the kind of law and the size of the floor area. One building can not be based on operating facilities and together in Multiple use businesses Law. As such, the Buildings are applied to the Building codes, Fire Protection laws, such as Multi-using Businesses Facilities interior construction industry due to the structural differences in the position of the designer feeling a lot of difficulties and confusion. The Multi-use businesses Facilities engage in the kind of law, the size of the floor area and seating capacity. These can not be based on operating facilities, and consists of two regulations together in one building. This study is purposed to help improving the finish of the interior architecture that is related to the Building code regulations, Fire Protection laws, Multi-using Facilities interior finishing material relevant with the provisions from the law through analyze the case of developed countries, and the current Multiple use Businesses Facilities research range from the law of multiple-using facilities, interior finishing, interior architecture for supervision reasonably and compensation for the interior design. So, Result is as follows: First, interior decorations can be separated the fixed material and the moveable things. second, It should be included multi-using Business though small size business space at the basement floor. third, It should be established statute law that design and construction responsibility. forth, re-testing fire resist performance after some period. and finally, it need to mitigate regulation where be installed sprinkler.

An Analysis of the Impact of Building Wind by Field Observation in Haeundae LCT Area, South Korea: Typhoon Omais in 2021

  • In the Haeundae area of Busan, South Korea, damage has continued to occur recently from building wind from caused by dense skyscrapers. Five wind observation stations were installed near LCT residential towers in Haeundae to analyze the effect of building winds during typhoon Omais. The impact of building wind was analyzed through relative and absolute evaluations. At an intersection located southeast of LCT (L-2), the strongest wind speed was measured during the monitoring. The maximum average wind speed for one minute was observed to be 38.93 m/s, which is about three times stronger than at an ocean observation buoy (12.7 m/s) at the same time. It is expected that 3 to 4 times stronger wind can be induced under certain conditions compared to the surrounding areas due to the building wind effect. In a Beaufort wind scale analysis, the wind speed at an ocean observatory was mostly distributed at Beaufort number 4, and the maximum was 8. At L-2, more than 50% of the wind speed exceeded Beaufort number 4, and numbers up to 12 were observed. However, since actual measurement has a limitation in analyzing the entire range, cross-validation with computational fluid dynamics simulation data is required to understand the characteristics of building winds.

대지의 조경 제도에 대한 관련 주체의 인식 비교 분석 (Recognition of Stakeholders Regarding Building-Related Landscape Systems)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 건축주, 공무원, 전문가를 대상으로 한 인식조사를 통해 대지의 조경 제도에 대한 인식 차이와 개선방안을 제시하는 것이다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 세 집단 모두 도시녹지 확보의 필요성을 높게 인식하고 있다. 사적재산권을 제한하더라도 공공 편익을 위해 녹지를 확보해야 한다는 인식수준이 높게 나타났다. 대지의 조경 제도에 대한 관심 수준 역시 보통 이상으로 조사되었다. 둘째, 건축주 집단을 포함해 설문 응답자들은 현재보다 대지의 조경 면적 기준을 강화할 필요성이 있다고 응답하였다. 이를 통해 최근 많은 지자체에서 건축조례 개정을 통해 대지의 조경 면적 기준을 완화하는 것을 재검토할 필요성이 있음을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 대다수의 지자체는 대지의 조경 업무를 추진할 수 있는 조직체계가 갖추어져 있지 않다. 조경 설계 및 유지 관리 전문분야 공무원을 신규 채용하거나, 관련 부서와의 협의를 확대하는 것이 필요하다. 넷째, 건축주들은 조경에 관심은 있지만 구체적인 관리 방법을 알지 못해 조경 공간을 방치하고 있다. 지자체는 건축주들이 쉽게 따라할 수 있는 건축물 조경 설계 및 시공방법을 안내하고, 수목 등을 지원함으로써 지역주민들의 자발적인 조경 공간 관리를 활성화할 필요성이 있다. 다섯째, 건축물 조경 제도 개선을 위해서는 우선 대지의 조경의 효과 검증과 공감대 확산이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 정부 차원에서는 도시재생사업 등과 연계해 건축주들이 조경 공간의 가치를 인식할 수 있도록 우수 조경 설치 사례를 시범사업 등을 통해 제시할 필요성이 있다.

사무소건물 태양열급탕시스템의 LCC 최적화 시뮬레이션 (Optimizing the Life Cycle Cost of a Solar Water Heating System in an Office Building Through Simulation)

  • This study examined the economics of a solar water heating system for an office building using life cycle cost (LCC) optimization simulations. The numerical simulations were conducted with TRNSYS and GenOpt employing the Hooke-Jeeves algorithm. The solar collector area, slope, mass flow rate per collector area and storage tank volume were selected as the main design parameters of the solar water heating system. The LCC optimization simulations of the system were carried out for cases where water temperature was $60^{\circ}C$ and $50^{\circ}C$. The results showed that for water temperature at $60^{\circ}C$ and $50^{\circ}C$ the collector area could be decreased by 17% and 28%, storage tank volume could be decreased by 49% and 54%, and mass flow rate per collector area increased by 5% and 9% respectively compared to a non-optimized system. The LCC of the system was reduced by 4% for $60^{\circ}C$ and 7% for $50^{\circ}C$. The initial installation cost of the system was reduced by 24% for $60^{\circ}C$ and 34% for $50^{\circ}C$. However, the operating cost of the system increased by 16% for $60^{\circ}C$ and 36% for $50^{\circ}C$ compared to a traditional solar water heating system.
