Social media such as Twitter and Facebook have become popular. In the age of social media, many people have become more active online. For example, about half of all global active Internet users are on Facebook (Perry 2012). Personal branding is a very important strategy to build on an individual's strengths, and this kind of branding is expected to contribute to self-actualization. Therefore, the presence of mentors who advise users to discover their own strong points for self-actualization is necessary. In this paper, we propose a personal branding support service, Mentors, which connects mentors and mentees. The core concept is: "Everyone has the face of both a mentor and mentee." The key function is sharing stages of self-analysis in human life design: Determining value, creating a mission, and forming a strategy. From this function, a good match between a mentor and mentee can be found. The program aims to improve human life by understanding the client's strengths and using social media effectively. Future work includes launching Mentors and evaluating its service.

The purposes of this study were to develop a tool for assessing internal branding performance and to identify the difference of internal branding performance between local and international hotels. The internal branding performance measure was developed through literature studies and face-to-face in-depth interviews with managers in various departments of 5 deluxe hotels. The questionnaires were distributed to 460 employees in food and beverage departments of 11 deluxe hotels in Seoul, and a total of 398 questionnaires were used for analysis ($86.5\%$). The statistical analyses were completed using SPSS Win (12.0) for descriptive analysis, reliability analysis and t-test, and AMOS (5.0) for confirmatory factor analysis. The results of this study showed that the measure developed in this study was reliable and valid for assessing internal branding performances of hotels. In addition, the internal branding performances of hotels were high at understanding of brand dimensions and relatively low at work and organizational culture and human resource management dimensions, and local hotels showed lower levels of performance than international hotels at the dimensions of work and organizational culture (t = -3.801, P < 0.001) and human resource management(t = -5.397, p < 0.001). As more companies become interested in global markets, it has become crucial for firms to create globalized brands whose positioning, advertising strategy, personality, looks, and feel are consistent across nations. The purpose of this study is to investigate the global branding strategy of the Hyundai Motor Company (hereafter HMC) in order to show how the company processes its branding strategy. HMC, one of the leading global companies in the automobile industry, set up its brand identity as "Modern premium", in alignment with their new slogan "New Thinking New Possibilities", in 2011. The aim of the "Modern premium" concept was to provide consumers with new experiences and values beyond their expectations. HMC wanted their consumers to think of their cars as not only a medium of transportation but as a life space, where they can share experiences alongside HMC. In an effort to conduct consumer research in 5 different nations, HMC selected "brilliant" as a key communication concept. The word "brilliant" expresses the functional, experiential, and emotional dimensions of HMC. HMC furthermore chose "live brilliant" as a key campaign message in order to reinforce their communication concept. After this decision, the "live brilliant" campaign was exhibited through major broadcast channels around the world. The campaign was the company's first worldwide brand campaign, where a single message was applied to all major markets, with the goal of building up a consistent image as a global brand. This global branding strategy is worth examining due to its significant contribution to growth generation in the global market. Overall, the 'live brilliant' global brand campaign not only improved HMC's reputation image-wise, with the 'Modern Premium' conceptualization of the brand as 'simple', 'creative' and 'caring', but also improved the consumer's familiarity, preference and purchase intention of HMC. In fact, the "live brilliant" campaign was a successful campaign which increased HMC's brand value. Notably, HMC's brand value increased continuously and reached 9 billion US dollars in 2013, leading it to reach 43rd place in the Global Brand Rankings according to the brand consulting group Interbrand. Its brand value largely surpassed that of Nissan (65th) and Chevrolet (89th) in 2013. While it is true that the global branding strategy of HMC involved higher risks, it was highly successful according to cross-nation consumer research. Therefore, this paper concludes that the global branding strategy of HMC made a positive impact on its performance. We further suggest HMC to combine its successful marketing with social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and embrace digital media by extending its brand communication horizon to the mobile internet

This paper proposes a trans-media branding for the trans-media-based cultural content marketing strategy. Trans-media brand analytical framework is proposed with previous studies. And mobile messenger Character 'Line Friends' is analyzed for the text. Trans-media branding is accessible through a multi-platform in the technological environment. Consumer culture, as well as participate include business models to generate revenue also as brand equity. While the character elements that make up the story from the perspective of cultural content storytelling act as an independent cultural goods. Character is segmented elements. Therefore, trans- media branding of the characters are more meaningful. 'Line Friends' trans-media branding can be summarized as follows: First, it takes advantage of the characteristics of the existing Information-Technology-based mobile. The purpose of this research is to develop elements of place branding and correspondent evaluation indicators for place brand strategy making, analysis and its evaluation. First, I criticise that previous research employed unclear and limited evaluation elements. I then suggest an plausible evaluation system and evaluation indicators through a theoretical proof for place branding under the concept of place-based value. Interviews with specialists for case evaluations were carried out in an effort to approve the plausibility of this suggested evaluation system. As an extension, a direction is suggested for a general and effective place branding that would satisfy a diversity of places, which could hopefully contributes for the development of future city brand and marketing evaluation criteria. Creating a specialized place brand requires precise understanding and evaluation on the place characteristics that should directly contribute to the strategy making based on the situatedness suggested by the place which meets an appropriate place branding category. In addition, a successful place branding requires active and effective communication among the participating members of interest and sustainable maintenance systems.
A railway station appears in the form of multi-use station building where cultural and commercial elements such as shopping and leisure are mixed, getting out of simple space configuration oriented to the space for station work, where a passenger stays for a little while. Now, a railway station is a place expanded to the inside of city, and builds a relationship with urban fabric, and therefore it should receive the social change in the time together with the surrounding infrastructure, and should inevitably form the urban environment. And it should become the 'Place' so as to be capable of playing a role of buffer and a role of regional gateway landmark by making users included in the inside through various uses with regard to the dispersed urban connection. Hence, this study is intended to examine the planning through the place branding of railway station. In the method of research, the characteristics that place branding had was investigated, and an analysis was made on the basis of 10 place branding strategic elements and 6 railway design guidelines. And it was intended to set a direction in which the existing place branding strategy could be applied to the railway station, and was intended to derive the place branding planning strategic elements of railway station. Hence, the planning can be classified into the following 5 kinds in connection with railway station. First, identity should be embodied through the strategy of constructing the symbolic image of railway station. Second, a role of mediating variously approaching flows in the city should be played. Third, the spatial layout of railway station, which can increase the efficiency of use, should be arranged. Fourth, special characteristics should be intensified through creative storytelling that stimulates emotion. Fifth, an organic change is gradually necessary for sustainability. These planning elements should be applied in harmonious combination. Therefore, a new railway station can be maded by building identity and placeness and by giving the value through these planning directions in the future.
