공동주택에 대한 Shaft Box형 이중외피의 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Application of Shaft-box Type Double Skin to Apartment Building)

  • The balcony of our apartment building consists of unique construction similar to double skin. It is announced broadly that double skin is very effective system in improvement of natural ventilation and indoor thermal environment, and outdoor sound protection. So, for the improvement of indoor climate and energy saving, many peoples studied about environmental performance of our balcony construction. This study focus on shaft box facade, special form of box window construction. It consists of a system of box window with continuous vertical shafts that extend over a number of stories to create a stack effect. Proto-type was decided by analyzing various types of exiting apartments. Shaft box type balcony was created by setting up shaft space at a part of balcony. Air flow and contribution of air temperature were simulated, performance of shaft box type balcony was compared with existing balcony. Finally, we confirmed that shaft box type balcony has many possibility for improvement of indoor environment.

목탄충진 목재판넬의 특성 (Properties of Charcoal-Packed Wood Panel)

  • Five type boxes manufactured from cement(A), wood panel(B), charcoal-packed wood panel(C), plywood panel(D) and charcoal-packed plywood panel(E) were prepared. Relationship of preservation characteristic of strawberry and relative humidity, and properties of thermal and sound insulations in the boxes were examined. During the experimental duration, relative humidity in the cement box was highest and lowest in the charcoal-packed wood panel box. Weight loss of strawberry was greatest in charcoal-packed wood panel box and very little in cement box. In the boxes with charcoal-packed wood panel box and very little in cement box. In the boxes with charcoal, strawberry was preserved for 10 days without getting mold, but in cement box it was covered with mold in 3 days. The charcoal-packed boxes showed higher thermal insulation property than the cement box. There were no significant differences in the property of sound insulation among the 5 type boxes. Consequently, it is suggested that charcoal-packed wood panels can be used for a better ecomaterial.

언어의 자의성과 이상의 ″상″ 이미지 (The Arbitrary Nature of Language and the Image of ′Sang′ (Box))

  • This paper surveys the meaning of the pen name ′Yi Sang(李箱)′ in the light of the arbitariness of language and the relationship among names, observing in three ways how the images of ′Sang′ (Box) appear differently in his works. In Particular, we look into (1) the relationship between a box and its inner boxes, (2) the divisional relationship in the box, and (3) the relationship between the box and an outer box. In Yi Sang′s work, image (1) gives shape to the relationship between the writer himself and his ancestors who are responsible for his present existence. Image (2) gives shape to two internally divided Yi Sangs, and is symbolized as a mirror that reflects two selves. Image (3) gives shape to a relationship between himself in the closed world and other people and/or a bigger outside world. All these symbolic relationships are fully represented in his work "Nalgae" (The Wing)". What is interesting is that Yi Sang has already employed these box images in his earlier poetry "Geonchuk-muhan-yukmyeon-gaucho" (Infinite Architectural Hexagon). furthermore, by visualizing his name as a sqaure($\square$), he means to suggest the intentional image of his pen name as a ′box′.

The Ubiquitin-Proteasome System and F-box Proteins in Pathogenic Fungi

  • The ubiquitin-proteasome system is one of the major protein turnover mechanisms that plays important roles in the regulation of a variety of cellular functions. It is composed of E1 (ubiquitin-activating enzyme), E2 (ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme), and E3 ubiquitin ligases that transfer ubiquitin to the substrates that are subjected to degradation in the 26S proteasome. The Skp1, Cullin, F-box protein (SCF) E3 ligases are the largest E3 gene family, in which the F-box protein is the key component to determine substrate specificity. Although the SCF E3 ligase and its F-box proteins have been extensively studied in the model yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, only limited studies have been reported on the role of F-box proteins in other fungi. Recently, a number of studies revealed that F-box proteins are required for fungal pathogenicity. In this communication, we review the current understanding of F-box proteins in pathogenic fungi.

지하철 박스 구조물의 수화열 해석 및 온도균열 제어 방안 (Construction Techniques for Crack Control of Underground Box Structures)

  • Recently, the underground reinforced concrete(RC) box structures have been increasingly built in Korea. In such structures, the heat of hydration may cause serious cracking problems. The RC box structures are classified in this category that needs much attention to control the hydration heat during construction, which causes the restraining effects on the boundaries. The purpose of the present study is to develop the rational construction method to control the thermal cracking problem of the box structures. In this study, the causes and mechanism of thermal cracking according to construction stages in the RC box structures are thoroughly analyzed. The major influencing variables are studied through the finite element analysis which affect the thermal cracking of RC box structures. The research results of the present study can be efficiently used for the control of cracking of box structures during construction stages.

  • 상자형의 중간격벽은 상자형의 단면변형을 구속하고 상부플랜지에서 발생되는 하중을 양측의 웨브에 분포시키는 역할을 한다. 그러나 상자형의 내부공간이 중간격벽으로 차단될 경우 내부공간을 활용할 수 없으며 유지관리에 많은 어려움을 격게 된다. 상자형의 격벽이 개구부를 갖는 경우 개구부가 없는 경우에 비하여 어떠한 영향을 갖는지를 실험을 통하여 중간격벽의 강성으로 표현하고자 하였다

조선시대 양로연(養老宴)에 대한 고찰 (A Study of Ceremony for the Elderly (Yangroyun) in Chosun Dynasty)

  • Yangroyun(養老宴), the ceremony for elderly people, originated with the ancient chinese, but the ceremony was held as almsgiving in the early period of Three Kingdom - Shilla.Goguryo.Backje. During the period, a king participated in the ceremony and gave elderly people grain and cloth. Also, in the unified Shilla dynasty, as it were. According to establish the aristocracy in the Three Kingdom Period, Yangroyun became the royal ceremony. In Goryo dynasty, Yangroyen was developed as a ceremony for awarding a person with filial piety prizes. In Chosun dynasty, Yangroyun was peformed in the rigid regulation. It was begun from the king Sejong, According to$\boxDr$Kyungkukdaejeon(經國大典)$\boxUl$, Yanroyun was held in September of the lunar year for over eighty years old, and queen held a banquet for the wives of the elderly. According to $\boxDr$Chosunwangjosilrok(朝鮮王朝實錄)$\boxUl$,$\boxDr$Gisaji(耆社志)$\boxUl$, and $\boxDr$Jungbomunhunbigo(增補文獻備考)$\boxUl$, Yanguroyun held totally eighty times in Chosun dynasty, however, in the late Chosun dynasty, Yangroyun was held few times.

신호교차로의 자전거 좌회전 운영방안 평가에 관한 연구 (Assessment of Bicycle Left-turn Traffic Control Strategies at Signalized Intersections)

  • 본 연구는 자전거 좌회전 교통류를 수용한 신호교차로 운영방안으로 Bike Box, Hook-turn, 그리고 6현시의 3가지 방식을 다양한 교통상황 및 조건하에서 평가하였다. 분석결과, Bike Box방식과 Hook-turn 방식 모두 대기공간의 크기가 신호운영 결과에 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악되었다. 비포화와 근포화 교통상황에서 Hook-turn과 Bike Box방식은 자동차지체 차이는 거의 없으나 자전거 지체는 Hook-turn이 Bike Box 방식에 비해 2.5-29.9초/대 높게 나타났다. 6현시 방식은 Bike Box 방식에 비해 자동차와 자전거 지체가 모두 매우 크게 나타났다. 포화 교통상황에서는 Bike Box방식이 Hook-turn과 6현시운영에 비해 자동차지체는 작게 나타났으나, 자전거지체는 자전거 교통량이 700대/시에서 6현시 방식보다 오히려 증가하였다. 자전거지체는 Hook-turn방식은 자전거교통량이 300대/시 이후, Bike Box방식은 500대/시 이후부터 지체가 급격하게 증가하였다. 그리고 Bike Box와 Hook-turn 방식 모두 대기공간이 증가시 자전거 지체가 매우 큰 폭으로 감소하였다. 또한 동-서 및 북-서 교통량 패턴 모두 Bike Box가 Hook-turn 방식보다 자동차와 자전거 지체가 작게 나타났다.

새로운 형태의 리브를 갖는 보강판의 좌굴거동 (Buckling Behavior of Plates Stiffened with the New Type Ribs)

  • 본 연구에서는 새로운 형태의 리브(${\Box}$형)를 갖는 보강판의 좌굴거동에 대한 매개변수 해석을 수행하였다. ${\Box}$형 리브의 제원에 따른 좌굴능력의 변화가 일정한 양상을 나타냄에 따라 특정 좌굴하중을 갖는 ${\Box}$형 리브 단면을 구하는 시스템을 제안할 수 있었으며, 이 시스템을 실교량의 강바닥판에 적용하였을 때 기존 폐단면 리브보다 더 경제적인 ${\Box}$형 리브 단면을 많이 얻을 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제안한 ${\Box}$형 리브 시스템을 이용하면, 소요 좌굴 능력을 가지면서도 보다 경제적인 강바닥판 설계를 할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
