A CCTV system reduces some number of cameras if we use convex-mirror. In this case, convex-mirror Image distorted, we need transformation to flat images. In the center of mirror images, a transformed image has no distortion, but at near boundary image has plentiful distortion. This distortion is caused by occlusion of angled ray and diffraction. We know that the linear filtering approach cannot separate noise from signal where their Fourier spectra overlap. But using a non-linear discretization method, we shall reduce blurred noise. In this paper, we introduce the backward solution of nonlinear wave equation for reducing blurred noise and biased expansion of equilibrium contour. We propose, after applying the introduced method, and calculate with discretization method. To analysis the experimental result, we investigate to PSNR and get about 4dB better than current method.

The computations of the turbulent flow around the ship models with the free-surface effects were carried out. Incompressible Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes equations were solved by using an explicit finite-difference method with the nonstaggered grid system. The method employed second-order finite differences for the spatial discretization and a four-stage Runge-Kutta scheme for the temporal integration. For the turbulence closure, a modified Baldwin-Lomax model was exploited. The location of the free surface was determined by solving the equation of the kinematic free-surface condition using the Lax-Wendroff scheme and a free-surface conforming grid was generated at each time step so that one of the grid boundary surfaces always coincides with the free surface. An inviscid approximation of the dynamic free-surface boundary condition was applied as the boundary conditions for the velocity and pressure on the free surface. To validate the computational method developed in the present study, the computations were carried out for beth Wigley and Series 60 $C_B=0.6$ ship model and the computational results showed good agreements with the experimental data.

A surface panel method treating a boundary-value problem of the Dirichlet type is presented to design a three dimensional body with free surface corresponding to a prescribed pressure distribution. An integral equation is derived from Green's theorem, giving a relation between total potential of known strength and the unknown local flux. Upon discretization, a system of linear simultaneous equations is formed including free surface boundary condition and is solved for an assumed geometry. The pseudo local flux, present due to the incorrect positioning of the assumed geometry, plays a role f the geometry corrector, with which the new geometry is computed for the next iteration. Sample designs for submerged spheroids and Wigley hull and carried out to demonstrate the stable convergence, the effectiveness and the robustness of the method. For the calculation of the wave resistance, normal dipoles and Rankine sources are distributed on the body surface and Rankine sources on the free surface. The free surface boundary condition is linearized with respect to the oncoming flow. Four-points upwind finite difference scheme is used to compute the free surface boundary condition. A hyperboloidal panel is adopted to represent the hull surface, which can compensate the defects of the low-order panel method. The design of a 5500TEU container carrier is performed with respect to reduction of the wave resistance. To reduce the wave resistance, calculated pressure on the hull surface is modified to have the lower fluctuation, and is applied as a Dirichlet type dynamic boundary condition on the hull surface. The designed hull form is verified to have the lower wave resistance than the initial one not only by computation but by experiment.
Numerical research on four typical configurations of noise mitigation structures and their characteristics of wind loads are reported in this paper. The turbulence model as well the model parameters, the modeling of the equilibrium atmospheric boundary layer, the mesh discretization etc., were carefully considered in the numerical model to improve the numerical accuracy. Also a numerical validation of one configuration with the wind tunnel test data was made. Through detailed analyses of the wind load characteristics with the inclined part and the wind incidence angle, it was found that the addition of an inclined part to a noise mitigation structure at-grade would affect the mean nett pressure coefficients on the vertical part, and that the extent of this effect depends on the length of the inclined part itself. The magnitudes of the mean nett pressure coefficients for both the vertical part and the inclined part of noise mitigation structure at-grade tended to increase with length of inclined part. Finally, a comparison with the wind load code British/European Standard BS EN 1991-1-4:2005 was made and the envelope of the mean nett pressure coefficients of the noise mitigation structures was given for design purposes. The current research should be helpful to improve current wind codes by providing more reasonable wind pressure coefficients for different configurations of noise mitigation structures.
The current study employs the nonlocal Timoshenko beam (NTB) theory and von-Kármán's geometric nonlinearity to develop a non-classic beam model for evaluating the nonlinear free vibration of bi-directional functionally-graded (BFG) nanobeams. In order to avoid the stretching-bending coupling in the equations of motion, the problem is formulated based on the physical middle surface. The governing equations of motion and the relevant boundary conditions have been determined using Hamilton's principle, followed by discretization using the differential quadrature method (DQM). To determine the frequencies of nonlinear vibrations in the BFG nanobeams, a direct iterative algorithm is used for solving the discretized underlying equations. The model verification is conducted by making a comparison between the obtained results and benchmark results reported in prior studies. In the present work, the effects of amplitude ratio, nanobeam length, material distribution, nonlocality, and boundary conditions are examined on the nonlinear frequency of BFG nanobeams through a parametric study. As a main result, it is observed that the nonlinear vibration frequencies are greater than the linear vibration frequencies for the same amplitude of the nonlinear oscillator. The study finds that the difference between the dimensionless linear frequency and the nonlinear frequency is smaller for CC nanobeams compared to SS nanobeams, particularly within the α range of 0 to 1.5, where the impact of geometric nonlinearity on CC nanobeams can be disregarded. Furthermore, the nonlinear frequency ratio exhibits an increasing trend as the parameter µ is incremented, with a diminishing dependency on nanobeam length (L). Additionally, it is established that as the nanobeam length increases, a critical point is reached at which a sharp rise in the nonlinear frequency ratio occurs, particularly within the nanobeam length range of 10 nm to 30 nm. These findings collectively contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the nonlinear vibration behavior of BFG nanobeams in relation to various parameters.
A Computational Fluid Dynamics model is presented in this study for the simulation of the complex fluid flows with free surfaces inside the Tuned Liquid Column Dampers in horizontal motion. The characteristics of the fluid model of the TLCD in horizontal motion include the free surface of the multiphase flow and the horizontal moving frame. In this study, the time depend unsteady Standard ${\kappa}-{\varepsilon}$ turbulent model based on Navier-Stokes equations is chosen. The volume of fluid (VOF) method and sliding mesh technique are adopted to track the free surface of water inside the vertical columns of TLCD and treat the moving boundary of the walls of TLCD in horizontal motion. Several model solution parameters comprising different time steps, mesh sizes, convergence criteria and discretization schemes are examined to establish model parametric independency results. The simulation results are compared with the experimental data in the dimensionless amplitude of the water column in four different configured groups of TLCDs with four different orifice areas. The predicted natural frequencies and the head loss coefficient of TLCDs from CFD model are also compared with the experimental data. The predicted numerical results agree well with the available experimental data.
In the h-version of F.E.M., all piecewisely smooth curved boundaries can be approximated by a sufficient number of straight-sided elements. However, in the p-version the size of the element is usually large and hence the probability of distortions is more. An attempt has been made to generate a curved boundary by using a transfinite interpolation technique to avoid the discretization errors. In the following sections, it will be shown how to construct transfinite interpolants both in h-version and in p-version over polygonal and nonpolygonal regions. Three numerical tests are shown to validate the applicability and superior capability of transfinite interpolation technique.
This paper demonstrates the numerical simulation of three dimensional flow pattern for vehicular exhaust dispersion in the street canyons. The wind flow around buildings in urban is computed by the SIMPLEST method. The convection-diffusion equation was used to compute the $NO_X$ concentration level near buildings. Details are given of important boundary conditions and turbulence quantities variations. The simple turbulence model was used for unisotropic viscous effect. A control-volume based finite-difference method with the upwind scheme is employed for discretization equation. The simple turbulence model applied in this study has been verified through comparison between predicted and measured data near buildings. By the predictive results, the updraft induced by the presence of high-rise buildings is important in the transport of street level pollutant out from the street canyons. Our suggestion for reducing ground level pollution is to have high-rise buildings constructed or to reduce the channelling effect of street canyons.
In this paper, we propose a continuum mechanics based 3-D beam finite element with cross-sectional discretization allowing for warping displacements. The beam element is directly derived from the assemblage of 3-D solid elements, and this approach results in inherently advanced modeling capabilities of the beam element. In the beam formulation, warping is fully coupled with bending, shearing, and stretching. Consequently, the proposed beam elements can consider free and constrained warping conditions, eccentricities, curved geometries, varying sections, as well as arbitrary cross-sections (including thin/thick-walled, open/closed, and single/multi-cell cross-sections). We then study the modeling and predictive capabilities of the beam elements in twisting beam problems according to geometries, boundary conditions, and cross-sectional meshes. The results are compared with reference solutions obtained by analytical methods and solid and shell finite element models. Excellent modeling capabilities and solution accuracy of the proposed beam element are observed.

Given the widespread use of the Finite Element Method in strength analysis, automatic mesh generation is an important component in the computer-aided design of parts and assemblies. For a given resolution of geometric accuracy, the purpose of mesh generators is to discretize the continuous model of a part within this error limit. Sticking to this condition often produces many small elements around small features in spite that these regions are usually of little interest and computer resources are thus wasted. Therefore, it is desirable to selectively suppress small features from the model before discretization. This can be achieved by low-pass filtering a CAD model. A spatial function of one dimension higher than the model of interest is represented using the Fourier basis functions and the region where the function yields a value greater than a prescribed value is considered as the extent of a shape. Subsequently, the spatial function is low-pass filtered, yielding a shape without the small features. As an undesirable effect to this operation, all sharp corners are rounded. Preservation of sharp corners is important since stress concentrations might occur there. This is why the LPF (low-pass filtered) model can not be directly used. Instead, the distances of the boundary elements of the original shape from the LPF model are calculated and those that are far from the LPF model are identified and removed. It is shown that the number of mesh elements generated on the simplified model is much less than that of the original model.
