감육예측 및 수치해석 기법을 활용한 소구경 탄소강배관 감육영향 분석에 관한 연구 (Technology Based on Wall-Thinning Prediction and Numerical Analysis Techniques for Wall-Thinning Analysis of Small-Bore Carbon Steel Piping)

  • 국내를 포함한 전 세계 50여개 원전의 발전사업자는 유동가속부식에 의한 탄소강 배관 감육을 관리하기 위하여 CHECWORKS 프로그램을 이용하고 있다. CHECWORKS 프로그램은 대구경 배관에만 적용 가능한 것으로 알려져 있기 때문에 소구경 배관에 대해서는 현장 배관감육 관리 담당자의 경험과 판단에 따라 배관을 관리하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 국내 원전 소구경 배관 4개 라인그룹에 대하여 CHECWORKS 프로그램과 FLUENT 코드를 이용하여 유동가속부식과 유동 특성을 분석하였다. 그 결과 현장 배관감육 관리 담당자의 기술력에 따라 CHEC- WORKS 프로그램도 소구경 배관 감육 관리에 이용할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • At present, the time of easy oil and gas is over. Now, the largest part of fossil fuels is concentrated in the deepest levels of tectonic structures and in the sea shelves. One of the most cumbersome operations of their extraction is the bore-hole drilling. In connection with austere tectonic and climate conditions, their drivage every so often is associated with great and diversified technological difficulties causing emergencies on frequent occasions. As a rule, they are linked with drill string accidents. A key role in prediction of these situations should play methods of theoretical modelling. For this reason, there is a growing need for development and implementation of new numerical methods for computer simulation of critical and post-critical behavior of drill strings (DSs). In this paper, the processes of non-linear deforming of a DS in cylindrical cavity of a deep bore-hole are considered. On the basis of the theory of curvilinear flexible rods, non-linear constitutive differential equations are deduced. The effects of the longitudinal non-uniform preloading, action of torque and interaction between the DS and the bore-hole surface are taken into account. Owing to the use of curvilinear coordinates in the constraining cylindrical surface and a specially chosen concomitant reference frame, it became possible to separate the desired variables and to reduce the total order of the equation system. To solve it, the method of continuation the solution by parameter and the transfer matrix technique are applied. As a result of the completed numerical analysis, the critical states of the DS loading in the cylindrical channels of inclined bore-holes are found. It is shown that the modes of the post-critical deforming of the DS are associated with its irregular spiral curving prevailing in the zone of bottom-hole-assembly. The possibility of invariant state generation during post-critical deforming is established, condition of its bifurcation is formulated. It is shown that infinite variety of loads can correspond to one geometrical configuration of the DS. They differ each from other by contact force functions.

차량용 사축식 피스톤 펌프의 피스톤 링과 실린더 보어간의 윤활특성에 관한 연구 (A study on lubrication characteristics between piston ring and cylinder bore of bent-axis type piston pump for vehicle)

  • The bent-axis type piston pump which is driven by the piston rod works on the way that the piston rod drives the cylinder block, so the taper angle of the piston rod and the swivel angle between the cylinder block and the shaft are very important design factors. If the above factors cannot satisfy the conditions of optimum design, the friction loss between the cylinder bore and the piston increases, and the pump can even fail to work under conditions of severe friction and wear. Since the piston reciprocates in the cylinder bore with high velocity, and at the same time it rotates on its own axis and revolves on the center of the cylinder block, the decrease of the volume efficiency generated on account of the leakage between the cylinder bore and the piston. Therefore, to prevent this case, the piston ring is designed at the end of the piston, and the friction characteristics between the piston ring and the cylinder bore are in need of research due to its great influence on the performance of piston pump. Thus, in this paper, the elastic hydraulic oil's lubrication analyses of the film thickness, the pressure distribution, and the friction force, and so on, have been performed, and the lubrication characteristics between the piston ring and the cylinder bore are explored by the results of the numerical analysis, and it is contributed to realize the higher efficiency and the more advanced performance of the bent-axis type piston pump.

  • Bone is a dynamic tissue that is constantly being remodelled. Resolution of bone and formation of new bone are closely linked, so that bone mass remains constant. With age, this process becomes unlinked with an imbalance in bore resorption and formation that results in a net loss of bone. Especially, osteoporosis is a disease characterized by low bone mass with age. One form of aging-related primary osteoporosis is postulated with the reduction of circulating estrogen, rapid bone loss occurs as a result of enhanced bore remodelling with an excess of resorption over bore formation. The oxidative stress is also involved in the pathogenesis of osteoporosis. Oxidative stress by cytokines, such as IL-a and TNF-${\alpha}$, inhibits osteoblast function in vitro and stimulates osteoblast apoptosis resulting in an imbalance in bore remodelling. The present article reviews the current perspectives on the interaction between bone remodelling and factors such as estrogen and oxidative stress, providing an interpretation of bone diseases in a view of molecular mechanisms.

  • 본 연구에서는 반경 방항으로 균일하게 잡아당기는 문제에 대하여 등방성, 직 교 이방경, 평면 이방성의 해를 비교하고, 성형성에 중요한 의미를 갖는 두께방항 변 형도와 원주방항 응력의 분포에 대하여 해석한다. 또 냉간 압연된 철판을 사용하여 평저 펀치(flat punch)에 의한 스트레칭(stretching) 실험을 하고, 실험과 같은 경계 조건으로 시뮬레이션(simulation)하여 결과를 비교한다.

소수성 다공질 PVDF 중공사 분리막 제조 및 막증류 적용 (Preparation of Hydrophobic Porous PVDF Membrane and Application for Membrane Distillation)

  • 열유도상분리법(TIPS) 및 연신의 복합공정을 적용하여 막증류(Membrane distillation, MD)용 다공성 PVDF 중공사 분리막을 제조하였다. 분리막의 투과도를 증가시키기 위하여 분리막 투과도를 향상시킬 수 있는 성능인자들 중 분리막의 벽두께를 감소시키고자 하였다. 분리막의 두께를 감소시키기 위하여 분리막 제조 시 토출량을 감소시키고 중공 형성 시 주입하는 bore fluid 주입량을 증대시켰다. 토출량의 감소 및 bore fluid의 증가에 따라 벽두께는 감소하였고, 공기투과도와 수투과도는 크게 증가하였으며, 결과적으로 막증류 공정에 적용 시 투과플럭스도 증가하는 경향을 보여 주었다.

신뢰성 설계를 위한 엔진 실린더 블록과 메인 보어의 유한요소해석 (Finite Element Analysis of Engine Cylinder Block and Main Bore for Reliable Design)

  • Finite element analyses have been performed for the purpose of obtaining the robust and reliable design of engine cylinder block. Fatigue under high cycle operating loads is a primary concern and is evaluated by a probabilistic method. The robust and reliable design by a probabilistic method can provide satisfactory design conditions for the performance of the system under the influence of noise factors. Therefore, the design by this method will be desensitized to the uncontrollable noise factors. The simple methodology evaluates the distortion of main bore is proposed for the purpose of maintaining a well-controlled clearance between the crankshaft and main bores. The proposed methodology has proven a capability of predicting the distortion of the main bore under assembly, thermal, and firing loads. The calculated results are correlated well with the experimental ones.

Effectiveness of Anchoring with Balloon Guide Catheter and Stent Retriever in Difficult Mechanical Thrombectomy for Large Vessel Occlusion

  • Objective : A distal navigation of a large bore aspiration catheter during mechanical thrombectomy (MT) is important. However, delivering a large bore aspiration catheter is difficult to a tortuous or atherosclerotic artery. We report the experience of anchoring with balloon guide catheter (BGC) and stent retriever to facilitate the passage of an aspiration catheter in MT. Methods : When navigating an aspiration catheter failed with a conventional co-axial microcatheter delivery, an anchoring technique was used. Two types of anchoring technique were applied to facilitate distal navigation of a large bore aspiration catheter during MT. First, a passage of aspiration catheter was attempted with a proximal BGC anchoring technique. If this technique also failed, another anchoring technique with distal stent retriever was tried. Consecutive patients who underwent MT with an anchoring technique were identified. Details of procedure, radiologic outcomes, and safety variables were evaluated. Results : A total of 67 patients underwent MT with an anchoring technique. Initial trial of aspiration catheter passage with proximal BGC anchoring technique was successful for 35 patients (52.2%) and the second trial with distal stent retriever anchoring was successful for 32 patients (47.8%). Overall, navigation of a large bore aspiration catheter was successful for all patients (100%) without any procedure related complications. Conclusion : Our study showed the usefulness of anchoring technique with proximal BGC and distal stent retriever during MT, especially in those with an unfavorable anatomical structure. This technique could be an alternative option for delivering an of aspiration catheter to a distal location.

연안교량에 작용하는 지진해일파력에 관한 수치시뮬레이션(단파의 경우) (Numerical Simulation of Tsunami Force Acting on Onshore Bridge (for Tsunami Bore))

  • 본 연구에서는 단파와 연안교량과의 상호작용해석에 수치해석적인 방법을 이용하며, 이 때 단파는 상 하류측의 수위차로부터 조파된다. 수치해석법에는 Navier-Stokes solver에 기초한 3차원혼상류해석법인 TWOPM-3D를 적용하며, 작용파력의 타당성은 본 수치해석결과와 기존의 실험결과와의 비교 분석으로부터 검증된다. 이로부터 교량의 종류, 단파강도, 수심 및 거더 수 등에 따른 수위변화와 유속변화를 포함하여 수평파력과 연직파력(연직상방파력과 연직하방파력)의 변동특성을 면밀히 검토하였으며, 흐름에 의해 유체 중에 연행되는 공기가 연직파력에 큰 영향을 미치는 것 등을 알 수 있었다.

포신 길이와 탄약 압력에 따른 포신 내부 유동 특성 연구 (A Research on Characteristics of Internal Flow Based on the Gun Barrel Length and Ammunition Pressure.)

  • 본 논문은 포신의 길이 및 발사되는 탄약의 압력에 따른 포신 내부 및 배연기의 유동 특성에 대한 연구 내용이다. 탄약 설계 전 포신길이 및 탄약 압력에 따른 배연기의 유동 특성을 분석함으로서 탄약 운용 간 발생할 수 있는 Flareback 현상을 사전에 예방 할 수 있으며, 기존 탄약의 설계 요소인 속도, 정확도, 관통성능, 사거리 외에 운용성 향상을 위한 포신과 탄약의 호환성이 탄약 설계의 주요 요소임을 추가로 도출하였다. 유동 해석 수행 결과 포신 길이가 길고, 사격되는 탄약의 압력이 낮을수록 포신의 배연기 작동시간이 느려져 전투차량 내부로 추진제 가스가 들어올 확률이 높아짐을 확인하였다. 따라서, 본 연구를 통해 확인 된 포신 길이 및 탄약 압력에 의한 배연기 유동 특성 상관관계 해석 기법은 신규 탄약 설계 시 운용성 향상을 위한 주요 요소로 고려되어 탄약의 무게 결정과 추진제 압력 선택에 활용이 가능 할 것으로 판단된다.
