Component technology was proposed and applied to software development to overcome software crisis. Software component is a black box like an integrated circuit in hardware but it can not be utilized without good support specially for helping users understand efficiently. This paper shows that data book format for understanding hardware component can be well applied to representing software component. We selected an approach to understand component by matching the contents of data book with UML and API model technique. Besides, we added the architecture part and the interface which are the most important property of software component to the data book for software components. In order to verify effectiveness of components data book we extended batch descriptor in EJB and performed an experiment providing data book to programmers with components.

최근 다양한 ICT기술의 발전으로 인간의 사회, 문화, 교육 등의 많은 분야에 변화가 일어나고 있으며, 많은 기술들이 인간 삶의 영역에 적지 않은 영향을 미치고 있다. 그 중에서도 인터넷 웹 표준 기술의 발전은 e-book 시장과 교육용 콘텐츠의 변화가 많을 것으로 예측하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 N-Screen 지원과 반응형 웹 기술 지원을 위한 3차원 상호작용기반의 e-book 콘텐츠 저작도구 플랫폼 설계를 연구하였으며, 6가지 영역의 상호작용 콘텐츠 개발이 웹 표준에 의해 저작될 수 있는 저작도구 모형을 연구 개발 하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 e-book의 저작 형태는 웹 표준 기술 HTML5와 ePub3.0 표준을 기반으로 제작할 수 있도록 콘텐츠 플랫폼을 설계 하였으며, 사용자와의 상호작용, 시뮬레이션 등의 기능을 쉽고 빠르게 제작할 수 있는 사용자 인터페이스를 연구 적용하였다. 향후 본 연구의 결과로 전자책 산업 발전과 교육 분야의 활용 향상을 기대하고 있으며, 지식의 체계를 좀 더 다양하게 제공 할 수 있는 e-book 콘텐츠 연구의 원천이 되기를 기대한다.

Objective The purpose of this study was to examine the composition, bibliographic characteristics, and contents of the book, Dongeuisasangjinryoeuijeon(東醫四象診療醫典). Method The images of this book published in 1941 at Haenglim publishing company, stored in the National Library of Korea were acquired and used as basic data, and books related to Sasang constitutional medicine such as Dongeuisasangshinpyun (東醫四象新編), Dongmuyugo(東武遺稿), and Sasanggeumgyebibang(四象金匱秘方) were compared. Result Many of the data were based on the Dongeuisasangshinpyun(東醫四象新編), and were made with reference to Dongmuyugo(東武遺稿) and Sasanggeumgyebibang(四象金匱秘方) partly. This book is thought to be made to be used conveniently for clinicians at the time when data on Sasang Constitutional Medicine was insufficient. In particular, it can be said that the mention of well-established diagnostic method, drugs that cause adverse reactions when a patient of a different constitution takes them and the quatrains of prescriptions using seven Chinese characters in each line are very unique. Conclusion Although most of the books, including Dongeuisasangshinpyun(東醫四象新編), were cited, it is thought that the book was well-organized in order to provide good information to the clinicians practicing Sasang Constitutional Medicine at the time. For the original part of this book, further research should be conducted.

This research aims to suggest the way of activation of book curation in secondary school libraries by analyzing examples of book curation and the recognition of the persons in charge of secondary school libraries. A documentary research and a survey is conducted. 192 school librarians are chosen for that survey in Incheon region secondary school. 4 teacher librarians of Incheon region secondary school and a professor of library and information science are interviewed. Also an investigation is executed by visiting school libraries. Augmentation of the persons in charge of secondary school libraries, coordinating and information sharing with educational teachers, establishment of manual for book curation operation, publishing examples of subject selection are suggested for the measure of activation of book curation.

Hyang-Yack-Ku-Keup-Bang(鄕藥救急方) is our own, medical work written about the middle of the time of Korea Dynasty. I restored and researched this book because it needed to be illuminated about its medico-historic value and then I came to some conclusions as follows. 1. Hyang-Yack-Ku-Keup-Bang was published in Dae-jang-do-kam(大藏都監) of Kanghaw island(江華島) about the middle of Korea Dynasty. Choi Ja-ha(崔自河) republished it on original publication ground in Euiheung(義興) of Kyungsang-Province(慶尙道) in July, Taejong's(太宗) 17th year of Chosen Dynasty (A.D.1417) and this book was published again in Chungcheng Province(忠淸道) in Sejong's(世宗) 9th year(A.D.1427). The book published in Taejong's days was in the possession of books department of Kung-nae-cheng(宮內廳) in Japan and was the oldest medical book of existing ones. 2. Bang-Jung-Hyang-Yack-Mock-Cho-Bu(方中鄕藥目草部) of this book was originally intended to be adjusted in each division with the title of Bang-Jung-Hyang-Yack-Mock(方中鄕藥目). But Herb part(草部) only followed editing progress of Jeung-Lew-Bon-Cho(證類本草), the rest is not divided into each part and is together arranged at the below of Herb part with the title of Bang-Jung-Hyang-Yack-Mock-Cho-Bu. The Korean inscriptions on some drugstuffs in this book are different between Native Name(鄕名) of three volumes of provisions and general-spoken(俗云) of Bang-Jung-Hyang-Yack-Mock-Cho-Bu. In this, it is estimated that the publishing time and editor of tile volume of provisions and Bang-Jung-Hyang-Yack-Mock-Cho-Bu are different. I think Choi Ja-ha compiled this behind three volumes of provisions when he published. 3. This book picked some prescriptions which consisted of obtainable drugs with ease in Korea in the books of Chell-Keum-Yo-Bang(千金要方), Oi-Dae-Bi-Yo(外臺秘要), Tae-Peong-Sung-Hye-Bang(太平聖惠方), Ju-Hu-Bang(?後方), Kyung-Hum-Yang- Bang(經驗良方) Bo-Je-Bon-Sa-Bang(普濟本事方) Bi-Ye-Baik-Yo-Bang(備預百要方) and so on and got together our own prescriptions. On the whole Bi-Ye-Baik-Yo-Bang was a chief referrence book, On this, other books referred to and corrected. 4. In provisions quoted from Hyang-Yack-Jip-Sung-Bang(鄕藥集成方), there are seven provisions; leg-paralysis part, coughing part, headache part, obstetrics part, etc. don't show in this book. This is why Choi Ja-ha published only certain texts on Dae-jang-do-kam edition his own posession. So we can think the existing edition has a little misses compared with original edition. 5. This book recorded only names of drugstuffs in animal drug department like fowls, crab, goldbug, earthworm, etc. and didn't tell us ways of taking those. This is effect of Buddhist culture on medicine. This is efforts to practice 'Don't murder';one of Five Prohibition of Buddhism. 6. Beacause this book was published at the time, when our originative medicine would be set forth. This followed the Chinese ways in Theory, Treatment, Prescription and used 'Hyang Yack' in Medication out of theory of Korean medicine, which was a transitional form. So this is all important material which tell us aspects of development of 'Hyang Yack' the middle of Korea Dynasty.and this is also the beginning of originative, medical works like Dong-Eui-Bo-Kam(東醫寶鑑), Dong-Eui-Su-Bo-Won(東醫壽世保元). 7. There are few contents based on 'Byen-Jeung-Lon-Chi(辨證論治)'in this book. So we can see this book is not for doctors who study medical thoughts but for general public who suffer from diseases resulted from war. Because this book was written for a first-aid treatmeant, this is an index of medical service for the people those days. And this is also an useful datum for first-aid medicine or military medicine in these modern days. 8. Nowadays, parts of learned world of Korean medicine disregard essential theories and want to explain Korean medicine only by the theories or the methods of Western medicine. Moreover they don't adopt Chinese and Japanese theorys & thoughts about Oriental medicine in our own style and just view in there level. What was worse, there is a growing tendency for them to indulge in a trimming policy of scholarship and to take others' ideas. I think these trends to ignore our own medical thoughts involving growth of 'Hyang Yack' in the middle of Korea Dynasty, Dong-Eui-Bo-Kam and Dong-Eui-Su-Se-Bo-Won. So we, as researchers of Korean medicine, must get out of this tendency, and take over brilliant tradition and try to develop originative Korean medicine.

However, when we take a look at domestic condition we come to know that Korean juvenile publishing has been occupied mostly by the studying book. Also, the cautious book selection by the well educated parents in l990's has brought up the change of juvenile publishing world. Such a presen t condition bears of juvenlie publi.,;hing world. Such a present condition bears problem, which is the checking 190 translat.ions among the published picture- books of the last ye ar children's book Nevertheless, there was a sucessful domestic planned creative picture book last year. That is "Puppy s shit", which was sold out 15 000 copies and be st se ller of children's book. Whe n we take a look at the commercial success of "Puppy s shit", it is possible that domestic work holds a position in the publishing market. "Puppy s shit" is the story about valuable nature with Korean styled illustration, which tells the prefemece of Korean book in do mestic pu blis hin f.i market. The purpose of this study is (a) to identify physical and content elements of children's books that seem to interest second and fifth graders to read, and (b) to observe how the influence of those elements on children's reading interest shifts as children develop. For the purpose of this study, children's books are classified into two groups: 'books of low preference' and 'books of high preference' as determined by second graders, and fifth graders' library circulation record in the library chosen as the sample for the present study. The physical and content elements of the books belonging to these two groups are analyzed and compared. Main findings and conclusions made in this study are summarised as follows: (1) The physical elements of children's books which have significant relationship with second graders' reading preference are illustration quantity, size of types, space between lines, and size of the book. (2) The content elements of children's books which have significant relationship with second graders' reading preference are the readability level of sentences, and the sex of heroes. (3) The physical elements of children's books which have significant relationship with fifth graders' reading preference are illustration quantity, illustration styles, and size of the book. (4) The content elements of children's books which have significant relationship with fifth graders' reading preference are the readability level, the sex of heroes, subject matters, themes and the environmental settings as the background of stories. (5) Reading preference of the pupils at the second and fifth grades are influenced by the quantity of illustration. Second grade pupils prefer reading books which contain a larger quantity of illustrations, whereas 5th grade pupils prefer books which contain less quantity of illustrations. (6) The relationship between second graders' reading preference and the illustration style are rejected at the $10\%$ significance level. A strong relationship, however, appears to exist between 5th graders' reading preference and the illustration style. The 5th grade pupils prefer more realistic illustrations, while cartoons and semi-abstract drawings do not appeal to them. (7) The type size, and space between lines which have had great influence on the book preference of 2nd grade pupils influence little on the 5th grade pupils book preference. (8) Second grade pupils prefer the book of a small Size, whereas 5th grade pupils whose reading taste has developed at a primary stage prefer the book of a large size beyond a certain standard. (9) Second grade pupils prefer reading books which can be easily read, whreeas 5th grade pupils prefer reading books containing difficult sentences. (10) Second grade pupils and the 5th grade pupils both prefer books in accordance with the sex of there heroes. (11) Relationship between second graders' reading preference and the subject matters are rejected at the 10% significance level. A strong relationship, however, appears to exist between 5th graders' reading preference and the subject matter. Fifth grade pupils prefer reading books of which the themes are mystery, exploration and adventure. (12) The theme of books is not proved to relate with the book preference of the 2nd grade pupils, but it is closely related with the book preference of 5th grade pupils. Fifth grade pupils prefer reading books which contain exploratory stories. (13) Second grade pupils are not influenced by the environmental setting of the story, but 5th grade pupils prefer reading stories with the environmental setting in the air. (14) The quantity of illustrations is the element influencing most on .the book preference of the 2nd grade pupils, followed by the space between the lines, which influences least on the book preference of the 5th grade pupils. (15) The physical element influencing most on the book preference of the 2nd grade pupils is the quantity of the illustrations. The physical element which has the most strong influence on the book preference of the 5th graders is illustration styles. (16) The content elements which has much influence on the book preference of the 5th grade pupils are certain kinds of characteristics of heroes. In case of the 2nd grade pupils book preference, striking evidence of such characteristics of heroes is not traced.

Recently, with the rapid development of information technology the field of e-book market is growing rapidly. The choice of an e-book device to improve user's comprehension is one of very important elements. The effectiveness evaluation between e-books and paper books has been studied previously, but there have not been progressed actively researches on the size of e-book devices based on user's comprehension. Considering these aspects, we in this paper selected e-book devices such as currently available PDA, netbook, and notebook, and then carried out the experiment about which device has the highest user's comprehension depending on the size of e-book devices. Understanding and memory about the content on the display were set as main factors in order to evaluate user's comprehension. We prepared in advance multiple examples of e-books and English words with similar difficulty, and evaluated user's comprehension through answering questions for each example after doing the experiment. 90 undergraduate students who use most widely e-books participated in the experiment, and the result was analyzed using SPSS statistical package. The experiment result showed that user's comprehension was higher in e-book device with middle size rather than the one with big size in display size.

Development of digital media and interest in education bring big progress at digital device of education globally. Analysis by using FGI, KJ, survey of questionnaire, heuristic method, concentration observation. Through analytical researches prefer using digital text book with paper text book to using solo that can offer each advantage to user and teacher. Especially Interactive GUI design of digital text book to easy to access for teacher whom not friendly with digital device. When plan Digital text book content and design needs methodical design guide for target who students and teachers an in-depth study of the appraisal and method. The results of the research are introduce the design plan as a basic research and giving useful design plan to make digital text book and digital educational media in industrial aspect.

This study derived the policy implications and market strategies by analysis the e-book companies requirements & the CPND value chain structure, in order to revitalize the e-book market in Korea. Specifically, we examined the prospect of e-book market in Korea, current situations of production and distribution, awareness of service utilization and requirements for support policy with targets of 30 companies. As a research, the most needed item for e-book companies is 'PR and marketing support to enter and open the markets'(27%), which is the highest. 'Financial support such as labor costs and business expenses', 'support for retraining personnel to develop the expertise in respective fields' are followed and they account for 22%. Currently, the most effective support item is the external support program(35%) and funding power(30%) is followed. Unlike a paper book market, e-book is turned into a platform business in terms of the value chain. Based on these research content, e-book market activation and corporate competitive strategy was derived as follows : 1)literacy reinforcement about SNS marketing and e-pub3 authoring tool. 2)statistical DB construction of retail sales channels. 3)diversification of the billing system. 4)The quality of the e-book content certification.
