Objectives : This paper analyzes the new Majinhwiseong(麻疹彙成) manuscript discovered in Jeonju. The Majinhwiseong is a medical book specializing in measles co-authored in 1798 by Lee, Won-pung and three doctors from a middle class family. Until recently, the Handok (Korean-German) Medicine Museum copy was known to be the only existing version, but a new manuscript was recently discovered. Methods : The author, bibliography, organization, cited literature, and content of the book were studied. The contents of the Handok Museum of Medicine copy and other manuscripts were compared then reviewed. Results : 1. The book shows that middle class workers in the late 19th century were able to collaborate based on the results of their craft and form strong bonds. 2. The book was being prepared for publication in Pyeongan Gamyeong in December 1798, but failed to be published due to the sudden death of the Pyeongan-do governor. 3. For a correct understanding of this book, it is necessary to study the Handok Medicine Museum edition and the newly discovered manuscript (Jeonju edition) together. Conclusions : The two editions are of a different lineage. The Jeonju edition is overall more specific, while some parts are more detailed in the Handok edition. In conclusion, the Majinhwiseong is a book that was written by middle class doctors of late 18th century whose clinical experience was combined with Chinese medical theories. The book was specifically targeted to professional medical audiences.

이 연구는 전자책 수급 계약이 전자책 관외대출의 합법적인 근거로서 역할하기에 충분한 요건과 내용을 갖추고 있는지 그 실태를 점검하고, 아울러 도서관의 전자책 수급 계약의 현황과 특성을 파악하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해서 전자책 대출과 관련된 법적·기술적 환경을 고찰하고, 전자책 관외대출의 법률적 근거로서 라이선스 계약에 반드시 포함되어야 할 요소들을 정리하였다. 이를 바탕으로 실제 계약 사례에서 이러한 요건들이 적절하게 반영되고 있는지 분석하였다. 2020년도부터 2022년까지 3개년 동안 나라장터를 통해서 입찰이 이루어진 계약 43건을 대상으로 그 실태를 점검하여 그 문제점을 지적하고 개선방안을 제안하였다.

Book adaptation has been considered an effective strategy in filmmaking. This paper examines the relationship between the box office sales and the performance of its original book focusing on category extension, especially investigating reciprocal spillover effect from a movie to the book. With empirical data, two-way causality between performance of the extension brand (i.e., movies) and that of the parent brand (i.e., books) was examined to test the existence of reciprocal spillover effect. In addition, a linear model was used to test the moderating roles of extension characteristics. The results revealed that the higher the movie's box office sales, the higher the original book's sales after movie's release. The authors also found moderation effects such that if the book has high level of brand awareness prior to movie's release, or if there is a movie tie-in version, or when the book is mentioned in movie trailer, or if the movie is released shortly after the book's publication, then the strength of spillover effect is superior. The current empirical investigation is meaningful considering it provides implications to both buyers and sellers of the extension rights, contributing to the literature of reciprocal spillover effects in category extension.

이 연구는 국내 도서관운동과 독서운동의 지평을 확대하는 차원에서. 최근 국내에서 확산되고 있는 '한 책, 한 도시' 운동을 조명하였다. '한 책, 한 도시' 운동은 최근 수년 간 북미 전역에 확산되었으며, 많은 지역사회에서 성공적인 독서운동으로 보고되고 있다. 최근 국내에서도 여러 도시가 이러한 독서운동을 다양하게 추진하고 있다. 이 연구는'한 책, 한 도시'운동의 의미와 의의를 살펴보고. 국내 '한 책, 한 도시'운동의 주요 도시별 현황을 조사하고 분석하였다. 끝으로 이 연구는 국내 '한 책, 한 도시' 운동의 특징을 규명하고 한국 사회에 맞는 발전방안을 제시하였다.

The role of the library is as a public institution that provides academic information to a variety of people, including students, the general public, and researchers. These days, as the importance of lifelong education is emphasized, libraries are evolving beyond simply storing and lending materials to complex cultural spaces that share knowledge and information through various educational programs and cultural events. One of the problems library user's faces is locating books to borrow. This problem occurs because of errors in the location of borrowed books due to delays in updating library databases related to borrowed books, incorrect labeling, and books temporarily located in different locations. The biggest problem is that it takes a long time for users to search for the books they want to borrow. In this paper, we propose a system that visually displays the location of books in real time using an AI vision sensor and LED. The AI vision sensor-based book location guidance system generates a QR code containing the call number of the borrowed book. When the AI vision sensor recognizes this QR code, the exact location of the book is visually displayed through LED to guide users to find it easily. We believe that the AI vision sensor-based book location guidance system dramatically improves book search and management efficiency, and this technology is expected to have great potential for use not only in libraries and bookstores but also in a variety of other fields.

전자책은 디지털화된 출판물의 형태로 인터넷을 통해 온라인으로 유통이 이루어지는 콘텐츠이다. 최근 전자책 시장은 미국 아마존이 킨들을 기반으로 하여 전자책 서비스 시장의 성공 가능성을 보여 줌에 따라 구글의 전자책 사업 진출, 애플의 아이패드 출시 및 전자책 서비스 시장 진출 등 본격적인 성장세로 진입하고 있는 단계이다. 이에 따라 전자책에 대한 저작권 보호를 위한 기술적 보호조치의 중요성도 매우 높아가고 있는데, 현재 전자책의 저작권 보호를 위해 사용되고 있는 상용 DRM 기술은 기존 DRM 기술의 비호환성 문제점을 그대로 안고 있다. 따라서 현 상황에서 전자책 시장이 음악 시장과 동일한 시장 규모로 증가할 경우 음악 DRM에서 발생했던 DRM 호환성 문제가 발생될 가능성이 매우 높다. 본 논문에서는 이를 사전에 방지하기 위해 전자책 DRM 호환성을 제공하기 위한 표준 프레임워크를 제안하고자 한다. 이 연구를 통해 전자책 DRM 호환성을 위한 표준 레퍼런스 소프트웨어가 개발이 완료되면 소스를 공개 소프트웨어로 등록하여 누구든지 이용할 수 있도록 할 예정이다.

오늘날 디지털 컨텐츠 시장의 급성장, 그리고 전자책이 갖는 장점들로 인하여 전세계적으로 전자책에 많은 관심을 집중시키고 있으며, 이에 전세계적으로 각국에서는 전자책 문서의 표준화를 위한 컨소시엄이 활동 중에 있다. 또한 전자책을 보기 위한 도구인 E-Book Viewer에 대한 여러 연구 및 서비스가 제공되고 있다. 이 중에서 주석 기능은 정보 공유 및 검색과 같은 다양한 활용을 위하여 반드시 필요한 기능이라 하겠다. 이에 본 연구에서는 주석을 지원하는 PDA용 E-Book Viewer의 설계를 위하여 Windows 환경에서 QT Labrary를 이용하였으며, 폰트의 크기와 스킨의 색상, 주석의 표현 여부 등을 설정할 수 있고, 특정 단어를 검색하는 기능을 지원한다.

The study aims at book importation from China in the Latter Choson Period. It chiefly, achieved to concomitant with an envoy of a trimming policy. The pattern of book importations divided into public trade, private trade, Royal gift. Beyond the main stream of imports were Neo-Confucian books, a bibliographical study of Chineses classics books and Paegwan fictions (fictional narratives of oral natures compiled by local officials) including So-hag books that were at that time in the fashion were introduced into Korea. Like this, several pattern of book importation had an important effect upon closed Choson society.

21세기 정보화 사회가 요구하는 새로운 인재의 모습은 시대의 변화에 맞게 달라지고 있다. 이러한 정보화 사회가 요구하는 인재 양성을 위한 교육 방향의 변화에 맞는 교육은 e-Learning이라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 e-Learning 의 근간이 되는 교수법과 이에 따른 web-book 을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 web-book은 웹을 기반으로 하는 학습이라는 점에서 e-Learning 에 포함될 수 있으며, 특히 학습 정보를 전달하고 교수자와 학습자 상호간에 의사소통을 할 수 있다는 점에서는 e-Learning 의 한 형태라 할 수 있겠다.
