본 논문에서는 Open E-book 포럼에서 제시한 전자책 교환 프로토콜(EBX : E-Book exchange)에 기반한 전자책 교환 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 전자책은 다양한 미디어로 구성된 디지털 컨텐츠로 표현되며 저작권이 보호되기 위해서는 안전성이 보장된 전자책 교환 시스템이 요구된다. 또한 컨텐츠 제작자, 유통회사, 사용자는 저렴한 비용으로 전자책에 접근할 수 있어야 한다. 이에 리눅스 기반의 전자책 리더 및 서버 시스템은 이러한 요구사항들을 만족시킬 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 저렴한 비용으로 구축할 수 있는 리눅스 기반의 전자책 서버와 전자책 리더를 개발하였다.

This study multilaterally explores South Korean YouTuber Winter Library's book-related contents uploaded on one's channel. As science and technology have developed, now the ordinary people can produce their videos and share them online. YouTube has been the most popular video storage service, and many Koreans use and enjoy it as well. This study investigates book-related contents produced by YouTuber user Winter Library, often called BookTuber (Book plus YouTuber). More specifically, it analyzes Winter Library's various contents by 1) Components of YouTube Channel 2) Contents of Components 3) Components that help to increase reading rates. This study is contributing as it focuses on book, which is not so common topic in YouTube. As a result, the study discovers unique aspects of YouTube contents, and also explores the book-related industry in South Korea. This YouTube channel could be functional for increasing reading rates, especially among adults.

The book number, among various steps of book processing works, needs more careful attention and better-organized knowledge, and it is more sensitive than other parts of cataloging. This paper will give some suggestions on ways of constructing a book number, including the definition and the types of edition indication within a book number, and analyse some problems related to their application into real situation. Three possible ways of edition indication with in a book number were explained, and examples were given for each of them. Problems occurring when these codes were applied to books were analysed. In addition to the generally recognized meaning of the book number as a mean of differentiating similar works, the edition indication can make it possible for both the library staffs and the users to identify the characteristics of a work only with the book number. Searches for mere convenient and effective ways of edition indication might be related to the cost-effectiveness of book processing, and of library operation.

This study analyzed the montage pattern of e-book in a bid to include e-book in the film language system. To this end, this study targeted three pieces of e-books which reproduced the animation for theater use of Disney Company. This study did research on characteristics of montage in films, and kinds of film vectors, and defined it as 'Montage of Experience' according to media characteristics of e-book. This study deducted the montage pattern of 3 sorts of classification, and 10 sorts of detailed classification by doing research on the analysis object. This study has a significance in that it pioneers a new perspective in e-book research which has been biased towards a functional perspective. Analysis of the point of contact where the existing visual media, and new media meet with each other could be a driving force promoting the growth of the relevant industry, and this study thinks that the analysis of the point of contact is the research which is helpful to working out qualitative improvement of e-book contents.

This study investigated the actual condition of book numbers in South Korean academic libraries. Book numbers that are used in the Korean academic libraries consist of a combination of author-number or author-name, the first letter of the title, and any other shelflisting device. This study examined the current problems that perceive academic librarians on book numbers and the problem awareness of librarians who are working at 110 academic libraries in South Korea. The result shows that academic libraries are using eleven different methods of the book numbers table including nine eastern methods and two western methods. Also, librarians mentioned that the crucial concerns among participating libraries were the duplication of the book numbers and ineffective collection management. Therefore, this study suggested the expansion of the book numbers system in order not to duplicate of book numbers and the unification of western and eastern methods so that academic libraries tackle problems of ineffective collection management.

이 연구는 국내 외 전자책의 수집 및 보존기술에 대한 분석을 기반으로 미래 전자책의 기술 진화에 대응한 도서관의 전자책 수집 및 보존 방안을 제시하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위해 국내 전자책 제작 및 유통 현황과 국내 외 전자책 수집 및 아카이빙 운영 실태를 조사하였다. 보존기간과 관계없이 보존된 자원에 대한 접근성 유지를 위하여 메타데이터 요소와 OAIS 참조모형을 기반으로 전자책 아카이빙 협력 모형을 제안하였다. 한국형 전자책 아카이빙 협력 모형은 법령에 의한 집중형 모형, 개별 보존 및 분산형 모형, 전자책 아카이빙 보존관리센터 모형으로 요약할 수 있으며, 개별 모형의 장단점을 비교, 분석하여 최적의 모형을 제안하였다.

OPAC내에 전자책 패키지의 서지레코드 구축시 서지레코드의 중복과 비일관된 목록기술은 이용자의 자원 식별에 어려움을 주었다. 이에 본 연구는 전자책 패키지의 서지레코드 표준화를 위해 공급자중립 전자책 서지레코드 지침의 적용방안을 모색하였다. 연구방법으로 문헌연구를 통해 전자책 목록에 관한 이론적 배경, 국내외 전자책관련 목록규칙 및 입력지침, 공급자중립 전자책 서지레코드 입력지침을 조사하였으며, 홈페이지 조사를 통해 국내 15개 대학도서관의 전자책 패키지의 서지레코드 구축현황을 조사하였다. 이를 바탕으로 국내 전자책 패키지의 서지레코드 표준화를 위한 공급자중립 전자책 서지레코드 지침의 적용방안을 목록규칙, KORMARC, 중립레코드 측면에서 제시하였다. 본 연구는 국내 도서관과 공급자 모두를 위한 전자책 패키지 서지레코드의 입력지침 방안을 모색한 것으로 OPAC에서 전자책의 FRBR 구현을 가능하게 할 것이다.

이 연구는 독후감 텍스트의 주제분석에 토픽모델링의 활용방안을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 텍스트의 주제분석 방안으로서 토픽모델링 분석방법을 이해하고, R에서 제공하는 "topicmodels" 패키지의 LDA 함수를 사용하여 23건의 사례 독후감 텍스트들을 대상으로 실제의 분석작업을 수행하였다 토픽모델링 분석결과 16개의 토픽들을 추출하였고 토픽과 구성 단어들의 관계에서 토픽 네트워크 사례 독후감과 토픽들의 관계에서 독후감 네트워크를 구성하였다. 이후 토픽 네트워크와 독후감 네트워크를 대상으로 중심성 분석을 수행하였으며 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 16개의 토픽들이 1개의 컴포넌트를 가지는 네트워크로 나타났다. 이것은 16개 토픽들이 상호 연관되어 있다는 것을 의미한다. 둘째, 독후감 네트워크에서는 연결정도 중심성이 높은 독후감들과 낮은 독후감들로 구분이 되었다. 전자의 독후감들은 다른 독후감들과 주제적으로 유사성을 가지며 후자의 독후감들은 다른 독후감들과 주제적으로 상이성을 가지는 것으로 해석하였다. 토픽모델링의 결과를 네트워크 분석과 결합함으로써 독후감의 주제파악에 유용한 결과들을 얻게 되었다.

이 연구는 부산지역 초등학교 도서관의 북큐레이션 운영에 대한 사서의 인식을 조사하여 분석한 다음, 학교도서관에서의 북큐레이션 활성화방안을 제안하고자 하였다. 2021년 기준 국가도서관통계시스템의 학교도서관 현황을 활용하여 부산지역 304개 학교도서관 목록을 확보하여 사서가 배치되어 있는 121개 학교도서관을 선정한 다음 설문조사에 참여하기로 한 83개관을 최종 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 북큐레이션 운영현황과 사서와 사서교사의 인식조사 결과를 바탕으로 학교도서관 북큐레이션을 활성화하기 위한 방안으로 1) 북큐레이션에 대한 전문화된 교육의 확대와 제공, 2) 학교도서관 북큐레이션 운영에 관한 자료의 개발과 보급, 3) 북큐레이션에 대한 역량강화를 위한 사서들의 지속적인 노력, 4) 학교도서관 사서 간의 협력과 정보 공유 등을 제안하였다.

Recently, with the activation of eBook services, books are being published simultaneously as physical books and digitized eBooks. Paper books are more expensive than e-books due to printing and distribution costs, so demand for relatively inexpensive e-books is increasing. There are cases where previously published physical books cannot be digitized due to the circumstances of the publisher or author, so there is a movement among individual users to digitize books that have been published for a long time. However, existing research has only studied the advancement of the pre-processing process that can improve text recognition before applying OCR technology, and there are limitations to digitization depending on the condition of the book. Therefore, support for book digitization services depending on the condition of the physical book is needed. need. In this paper, we propose a method to support digitalization services according to the status of physical books held by book owners. Create images by scanning books and extract text information from the images through OCR. We propose a method to recover text that cannot be extracted depending on the state of the book using BERT, a natural language processing deep learning model. As a result, it was confirmed that the recovery method using BERT is superior when compared to RNN, which is widely used in recommendation technology.
