중국(中國) 20대(代) 남성(男性)의 하반신(下半身) 대표체형(代表體型) 연구(硏究) (The Representative Body Type of Lower Body of Chinese Males in Their 20s)

  • This study held human measurement for 200 male subjects in their twenties in full age living in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province in China. Their lower body types were classified and grouped according to shapes and sizes. Consequently, representative body type reflecting shapes, sizes, and characteristics were chosen and presented with their measurement values to be used as the basic data for slacks pattern making and fitness evaluation. The following are the results of the analysis: 1. Homogeneity analysis was given to determine the correspondence relationships among index types, indirect types, and size types. Index Type 1 (H-Round), Indirect Type 2 (Adjacent Straight Legs & Slight Slant of Lateral Lower Body), and Size Type 1 (Medium-Thick) were correlated; Index Type 2 (A-Trapezoid), Indirect Type 1 (Bow Legs & Slight Slant of Lateral Lower Body), and Size Type 3 (Small-Slim) were corresponded; Index Type 3 (A-Balance), Indirect Type 3 (Balance Legs & Large Slant of Lateral Lower Body), and Size Type 2 (Tall-Normal) were mutually related. 2. Mahalanobis distance based on each shape factor (index or indirect) and size factor (absolute) was obtained, while an index-absolute representative body type group (47 people, 24.4%) and an indirect-absolute representative body type group (45 people, 23.7%) were chosen, each reflecting shapes, sizes, and characteristics. 3. The representative body type group of lower body shapes of Chinese males in their 20s had average measurement values, such as 169.15cm (stature), 73.32cm (waist circumference), 75.76cm (omphalion waist circumference), 91.08cm (hip circumference), 106.02cm (outside leg length), 53.96cm (thigh circumference), and 74.42cm (crotch length).

  • One metabolism trial(Experiment I) and another respiration trial(Experiment II) were conducted to investigate the effects of dietary fiber supplementation(20% wheat bran) on the water balance, blood acid-base balance, body temperature, and metabolic rate of heat-stressed adult roosters. In Experiment I, twenty 20-wk-old SCWL roosters(BW 1.6 kg) were randomly alloted to 4 treatments with 5 birds per treatment and one per replicate. The 4 treatments were consisted of two temperature(21~22˚C vs. 34~35˚C) and two dietary fiber treatment(0% and 20% wheat bran), making Experiment I a 2x2 factorial. After 4 d of preliminary period, birds we subjected to 3-d collection period. Sixteen 20-wk-old SCWL roosters(BW 1.6 kg) were employed Experiment H, with two temperature(21~22˚C vs. 34~35˚C) and two wheat bran levels(0% and 20%). Brids were housed in individual metabolism cages under normal temperature(21~22˚C), at fed one of the experimental diet. After 4 d of preliminary period, a respiration trial with open-circuit gravimetric respiratory apparatus was carried out for each bird for 6 h, one by one, normal(20~21˚C) and hot(34~35˚C) temperatures. The ANOVA test and comparisons among treatment means were done at 5% probability level for both experiments. Results obtained from Experiment I and, II were summarized as follows, 1.The amounts of DM intake and excretion were significantly(P<.05) decreased by heat stress. The DM intake was not affected by the addition of 20% wheat bran, however, the amount of DM excretion was significantly increased by the high fiber diet. Thus, the DM metabolizability decreased significantly by the addition of 20% wheat bran. 2. The heat-stressed roosters increased the water intake and excreta moisture content significantly. Although not significant, the water intake tended to increase in roosters fed the 20% wheat bran diet. 3. The amounts of total water input and evaporative water loss were increased significantly by heat stress, and the addition of 20% wheat bran did not exert any influence on the total water input and evaporative water loss. However, roosters fed the 20% wheat bran diet increased the excreta water output significantly. 4. Neither the heat stress nor the dietary fiber did affect the blood pH, pCO2, and HCO$_3$- significantly. 5. The body temperature increased significantly by the heat stress. However, the high fiber deit failed to decrease the body temperature. 6. The heat-stressed roosters decreased the 02 consumption and C0$_2$ production, and increased the evaporative water loss significantly. However, the high fiber diet did not exert any infulence in this regard. It appears that the beneficial effect, if any, of high fibrous diet during heat stress episode may be due to the increased heat loss through the enhanced excreta water.

뇌졸중 환자의 웰니스를 위한 호흡기능, 하지근활성도 및 균형에 미치는 효과 - 호흡운동을 결합한 전신진동운동을 중심으로 - (Effects on the Respiratory Function, Lower Extremity Muscle Activity and Balance for the Wellness of Stroke Patients - Focused on Whole Body Vibration Exercise Combined with Breathing Exercise -)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 전신진동이 결합된 들숨근 훈련을 적용하여 뇌졸중 환자의 호흡기능 개선 및 다리근육의 기능향상을 위한 운동방법을 제시하는 것이다. 뇌졸중 환자 21명을 임상 표본추출하여 호흡운동을 결합한 전신진동운동을 적용한 집단 11명을 실험군I로, 호흡운동을 결합한 위약운동을 적용한 집단 10명을 실험군II로 각각 무작위 배치하여 5주 간, 4일/주, 1회/일, 4세트/1회 중재 프로그램을 시행하였다. 중재 전 최대들숨압 측정기로로 호흡기능을 측정하였고, 표면 근전도로 하지 근활성도를 측정하였으며, 버그발란스 검사를 사용하여 균형능력을 측정한 후, 5주 후에 사후검사를 사전검사와 동일하게 재 측정하여 분석하였다. 실험군I의 집단 내 변화 비교에서는 호흡근력, 넙다리두갈래근, 앞정강근의 활성도 및 균형에서 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<.05). 실험군II의 집단 내 변화 비교에서는 호흡근력과 균형에서 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<.05). 집단 간 변화 비교에서는 넙다리두갈래근, 앞정강근의 활성도에서 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<.01). 향후에도 신경근 기능을 향상시키기 위한 호흡운동과 전신진동에 대한 프로토콜에 대한 연구가 지속적으로 필요할 것으로 여겨진다.

  • It is important to maintain good habitual posture in daily life. Abnormal body aligament is provoked by excessive tension of bad posture. And these symptom is connected with other disorder of the body like back pain, cervical pain and shoulder pain through inaccurate body mechanism in daily life. This study was searched to figure out effects of factor that how to balance good posture and normal posture. And the other purpose of this study was to make new calculate device for analysis of effective posture in clinic.

  • This study was conducted to find out the concept, characteristics, reasons and the kinds, the effects on the body of cellulite and to provide the effective control methods. Formation of cellulate was mostly due to the genetic reason, usually happened after the period of puberty. It was more important to prevent rather than to cure after the cellulite formation happened. The effective ways of preventing it might be to drink enough water and to improve the liver function by restricting the excessive drinking, not to wear too tight-fit dress and high heel shoes. To control the cellulate effectively, diet control, exercise and esthetics had to be balanced together.

여성노인에게 적용한 12주간 복합하지근력 운동프로그램이 낙상위험도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of 12Weeks Complexed Lower Body Muscle-Strengthening Exercise Program on Fall Risk in Elderly women)

  • 본 연구는 여성노인에게 적용한 복합하지근력운동프로그램이 노인의 낙상위험도에 미치는 영향을 알아 보기 위하여 W시 소재 복지관을 이용하는 여성노인 20명을 대상으로 운동그룹(EG:Exercise Group, n=10명, 평균나이:$69.6{\pm}2.2$), 운동프로그램에 참여하지 않은 통제군(CG:Control Group, n=10명, 평균나이:$71.3{\pm}4.6$)으로 나누어 배정하여 12주간 복합하지 근력운동프로그램을 실시하고 낙상위험도 검사를 위하여 BBS(Berg Balance Scale)와 OLST(One-Leg Stance Test)를 이용하여 적용한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. BBS 변화 결과 EG와 CG그룹간의 유의한 차이가 나타났고 OLST의 변화 결과 EG와 CG그룹간의 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 따라서 낙상의 위험도가 높은 노인을 대상으로 복합하지근력운동프로그램의 적용만으로도 낙상위험도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 확인할 수 있다.

수액가온요법과 피부가온요법이 개복술 환자의 저체온 예방에 미치는 효과 비교 (A comparison of the Effects of Intravenous Fluid Warming and Skin Surface Warming on Peri-operative Body Temperature and Acid Base Balance of Elderly Patients with Abdominal Surgery)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of intravenous fluid warming and skin surface warming on peri-operative body temperature and acid base balance of abdominal surgical patients under general anesthesia. Method: Data collection was performed from January 4th, to May 31, 2004. The intravenous fluid warming(IFW) group(30 elderly patients) was warmed through an IV line by an Animec set to $37^{\circ}C$. The skin surface warming(SSW) group(30 elderly patients) was warmed by a circulating-water blanket set to $38^{\circ}C$ under the back and a 60W heating lamp 40 cm above the chest. The warming continued from induction of general anesthesia to two hours after completion of surgery. Collected data was analyzed using Repeated Measures ANOVA, and Bonferroni methods. Results: SSW was more effective than IFW in preventing hypothermia(p= .043), preventing a decrease of $HCO_3{^-}$(p= .000) and preventing base excess(p= .000) respectively. However, there was no difference in pH between the SSW and IFW(p= .401) groups. Conclusion: We conclude that skin surface warming is more effective in preventing hypothermia, and $HCO_3{^-}$ and base excess during general anesthesia, and returning to normal body temperature after surgery than intravenous fluid warming; however, skin surface warming wasn't able to sustain a normal body temperature in elderly patients undergoing abdominal surgery under general anesthesia.

정적자세에서 유도된 비정시의 유형에 따른 신체균형의 변화 (Changes of Body Balance on Static Posture According to Types of Induced Ametropia)

  • 목적: 정적자세에서 유도된 비정시가 신체균형에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 방법: 평균 연령 $23.4{pm}2.70$세의 20명(남 10, 여 10)을 대상으로 ${pm}0.50D$, ${\pm}1.00D$, ${\pm}1.50D$, ${\pm}2.00D$, ${\pm}3.00D$, ${\pm}4.00D$, ${\pm}5.00D$의 렌즈를 사용하여 비정시(양안근시, 단순근시성부동시, 양안원시, 단순원시성부동시)를 유도하였다. TETRAX the biofeedback system을 이용하여 신체안정성지수, 체중분포지수, 낙상지수를 측정하였다. 신체균형 검사는 각 조건 당 32초간 측정되었고, 반복측정 후 완전교정상태에서 측정한 값과 비교하였다. 결과: 안정성지수는 양안근시의 경우 +0.50 D부터, 단순근시성부동시의 경우 +1.00 D부터, 양안원시의 경우 -1.00 D부터, 단순원시성부동시의 경우 -1.50 D부터 완전교정상태와 비교하여 유의하게 증가되었다. 낙상지수는 양안근시의 경우 +4.00 D부터, 양안원시의 경우 -1.00 D부터, 단순원시성부동시의 경우 -1.50 D부터 유의하게 증가되었다. 모든 비정시 유형에서 체중분포지수의 변화는 없었다. 결론: 비정시의 유형에 상관없이 굴절이상의 미교정은 신체균형의 전반적인 안정성을 감소시키고, 낙상의 위험도를 증가시킬 수 있다.

종족궁 내측아치 지지에 따른 균형능력 분석 (Medial Longitudinal Arch Balanced Analysis of the Calibration)

  • 신체의 이동과 정지 시 동적 안정성과 균형성에 영향을 미치는 인솔에 대해 분석하였다. 특히 종족궁의 아치를 인위적으로 서서 체중을 가한 상태와 같은 평상시와 동일한 상태로 지속적으로 지지하였을 경우에 개별적인 균형능력의 변화를 추적하였다. 정상적인 신체 조건과 발모양을 유지하는 20대 남녀 각 10명씩 20명을 대상으로 종족궁 내측아치를 측정하여 아치를 지지하는 인솔을 개별적으로 제작하였으며, Tetrax 균형성 평가 장비를 이용하여 COP의 변위 패턴과 힘점의 이동거리를 착용 전, 후 비교하였다. 아치를 지지하는 인솔을 착용한 실험군이 균형능력 평가에서 약 22% 정도 상승되는 결과를 나타내었다. 본 비교 실험을 통해 종족궁의 내측아치를 지지하는 인솔 착용이 신체의 균형능력을 향상시키는데 도움이 되는 것으로 나타났다.

Effects of Dietary L-Carnitine and Protein Level on Plasma Carnitine, Energy and Carnitine Balance, and Carnitine Biosynthesis of 20 kg Pigs

  • Growing pigs (N=25; 18 kg) were used to study effects of L-carnitine and protein intake on plasma carnitine, energy and carnitine balance, and carnitine biosynthesis. Corn-soybean meal basal diets containing low or high protein (13.6% or 18%) were formulated so that protein accretion would be limited by metabolizable energy (ME). Each basal diet was supplemented with 0 or 500 mg/kg L-carnitine and limit fed to pigs for 10 d in a balance trial. Final carnitine concentration was compared with weight/age matched pigs measured on d 0 to calculate carnitine retention rates. Supplementation of carnitine increased (p<0.01) plasma free carnitine (by 250%), short-chain (by 160%) and long-chain acyl-carnitine concentrations (by 80%) irrespective of blood sampling time (p<0.01). The proportion of long-chain carnitine esters decreased by 40% (p<0.01) by carnitine supplementation; whereas, the proportion of short-chain acyl-carnitine concentration was not changed (p>0.10). All criteria of energy balance were unaffected by L-carnitine (p>0.10). Total body carnitine retention was increased by 450% over unsupplemented controls (p<0.01). Carnitine biosynthesis rates in pigs fed diets without L-carnitine were estimated at 6.71 and $10.63{\mu}mol{\cdot}kg^{-1}{\cdot}d^{-1}$ in low protein and high protein groups, respectively. In supplemented pigs, L-carnitine absorption and degradation in the intestinal tract was estimated at 30-40% and 60-70% of L-carnitine intake, respectively. High protein feeding effect did not affected plasma carnitine concentrations, carnitine biosynthesis or carnitine retention (p>0.10). We conclude that endogenous carnitine biosynthesis may be adequate to maintain sufficient tissue levels during growth, but that supplemental dietary carnitine (at 500 ppm) sufficiently increased plasma acyl-carnitine and total body carnitine.
