Background: Solanum nigrum L. has been used in traditional Chinese medicine because of its diuretic and antipyretic effects. The present research concerned effects of crude polysaccharides isolated from Solanum nigrum L. on erythrocyte membranes of tumor-bearing $S_{180}$ and $H_{22}$ in mice. Materials and Methods: Fluorescence-labeled red blood cell membranes were used with DPH fluorescence spectrophotometry to examine erythrocyte membrane fluidity, and colorimetry to determine degree of erythrocyte surface membrane blocking. Extent of reaction by tumor-bearing mice with the enzyme erythrocyte membrane bubble shadow detection of red cell membrane variation in the degree of closure before and after administration. Results: Solanum nigrum polysaccharide could significantly improve the $S_{180}$ and $H_{22}$ tumor-bearing mice erythrocyte membrane fluidity, compared with the control group, the difference was significant (p<0.01), SNL can significantly improve the red blood cell membrane and then $S_{180}$ tumor-bearing mice sealing ability, compared with the negative control group, the difference was significant(p<0.05, p<0.01). $H_{22}$ tumor-bearing mice can increase red cell membrane and then sealing ability, the difference was significant (p<0.05). Solanum nigrum polysaccharide degree of fluidity and blocking two transplanted tumors in mice restored the ability to raise the red cell membrane has a significant effect. Conclusions: Solanum nigrum L.-type mice transplanted tumor can affect the red blood cell membrane fluidity and re-closed, through the red cell membrane of red blood cells to enhance the immune function of the possibility of erythrocyte immunity against tumor formation garland provide experimental basis.

Nowadays JPEG encoder uses block based DCT and quantization to compress the size of still image. JPEG encoding method performs better compression efficiency than the other still image encoding method. However, when encoding a still image at low bit-rate, high frequency coefficients could be lost because of the coarse quantization so the blocking artifacts occur. In this paper, we propose the method of eliminating the blocking artifacts which occur when the still image is encoded by JPEG at a high compression rate. The principle of proposed algorithm is that the eliminating the blocking artifacts, which occur in the boundary of blocks, in DCT domain with $4{\times}4$ block-based method. First of all, observe the blocking artifacts with $4{\times}4$ block in DCT domain. Then eliminate the blocking effects using effective filtering method that is $4{\times}4$ block-based. Experimental results have clearly shown that our algorithm presents substantially higher quality in subjective and objective point of view than the other algorithms.

Objectives: The medicinal plants are believed to enhance the natural resistance of the body to infections. Some of the main constituents of the plant and derived materials such as, proteins, lectins and polysaccharides have anti-inflammatory effects. Portulaca oleracea (P. oleracea) were used traditionally for dietary, food additive, spice and various medicinal purposes. This review article is focus on the anti-asthmatic effects of P. oleracea and its constituents. Methods: Various databases, such as the PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar, were searched the keywords including "Portulaca oleracea", "Quercetin", "Anti-inflammatory", "Antioxidant", "Cytokines", "Smooth muscle ", and " Relaxant effects " until the end of Jul 2018. Results: P. oleracea extracts and its constituents increased $IFN-{\gamma}$, IL-2, $IFN{\gamma}/IL-4$ and IL- 10/IL-4 ratio, but decreased secretion of $TNF-{\alpha}$, IL-4 and chemokines in both in vitro and in vivo studies. P. oleracea extracts and quercetin also signifcantly decreased production of NO, stimulated ${\beta}$-adrenoceptor and/or blocking muscarinic receptors in tracheal smooth muscles. Conclusion: P. oleracea extracts and quercetin showed relatively potent anti-asthmatic effects due to decreased production of NO, inflammatory cytokines and chemokines, reduced oxidant while enhanced antioxidant markers, and also showed potent relaxant effects on tracheal smooth muscles via stimulatory on ${\beta}$-adrenoceptor or/and blocking muscarinic receptors.

In this study, the effects of Gamgung-tang gamibang on the hyperthyroidism induced by the intraperitoneal injection of 3,5,3-triiodothyronine was examined by the measurement of physical changes, body weight, the volume of food intake and rectal temperature, and heart weight, heart beat, blood pressure with contrast to propranolol, one of beta-blocking agents. the obtained results were as follows. The Gamgung-tang gamibang extract showed to inhibit the decrease of body weight and rectal temperature, and decrease the food intake, so the inhibitory effects of Gamgung-tang gamibang extract on the experimental hyperthyroidism were exhibited. The Gamgung-tang gamibang extract showed the inhibitory effects on the circulatory functions changed and enhanced by the experimental induced hyperthyroidism, the action of Gamgung-tang gamibang extract was less effective than the propranolol of D-CONT group. The Gamgung-tang gamibang extract showed significant effects to inhibit the concentration of serum thyroid houmone, more effective than the propranolol, beta-blocking agents. The Gamgung-tang gamibang extract showed the effective inhibitory reaction on the biochemical changes in serum, cholesterol, ketone bodies, free fatty acid, glucose in hyperthyroid rats induced by 3,5,3-triiodothyronine.
The determination of appropriate buffer capacity is an important issue in the design of the advanced manufacturing systems and closely related to the system efficiency and flexibility. Work-in-process is usually not desirable. However, in reality, maintaining some capacity of buffer storage is inevitable in compensation for the machine blocking and break down. The objective of this paper is to present analytical methods and tools for the buffer capacity planning in the Flexible Manufacturing System Environments. The effects when machine blocking is critical factor are also discussed.

Purpose: The current study was conducted to evaluate the compatibility of UV-A blocking contact lens on eye protection with regular contact lens. Methods: The protective activity of regular contact lens (UV-A blocking: 20%) and UV-A blocking contact lens (UV-A blocking: 85%) on the denaturation of RNase A, catalase, and superoxide dismutase (SOD) induced UV-A irradiation were compared by acrylamide gel electrophoresis. The enzyme solutions were irradiated with UV-A for 1, 3, 6, 24 and 96 hours at the wavelength of 365 nm. Covering area with contact lenses were varied as 50%, 70% and 100% according to the calculation of blocking areas of anterior eye that could be covered with RGP lens, soft contact lens, and eye glasses, respectively. Results: Denaturations of RNase, catalase and SOD were exaggerated when they were exposed to UV-A for a longer period. The denaturation was effectively prevented by UV-A blocking contact lens compared to regular contact lens. The capability of UV-A blocking contact lens was considerably reduced when the covering area with contact lens decreased and exposure time to UV-A extended. Conclusion: Therefore, it would be suggested that wearing contact lens for a long time under sunlight is carefully considered since the activity of UV-A blocking contact lens against UV-A irradiation may not be enough to protect enzymes presented in eyes when exposure time to UV-A increased.

This paper investigates the two dominant but intertwined current blocking mechanisms of Switching and Kirk Effect in pure ternary InAlAs/InGaAs/InAlAs Double Heterojunction Bipolar Transistors (DHBTs). Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) grown, lattice-matched samples have been investigated giving substantial experimental results and theoretical reasoning to explain the interplay between these two effects as the current density is increased up to and beyond the theoretical Kirk Effect limit for devices of emitter areas varying from $20{\times}20{\mu}m^2$ to $1{\times}5{\mu}m^2$. Pure ternary InAlAs/InGaAs/InAlAs DHBTs are ideally suited for such investigations because, unless corrective measures are taken, these devices suffer from appreciable current blocking effect due to their large conduction band discontinuity of 0.5 eV and thus facilitating the observation of the two different physical phenomena. This enhanced understanding of the interplay between the Kirk and Switching effect makes the DHBT device design and optimization process more effective and efficient.

Effects of stanous catalyst on the cross-linking reaction characteristics of multi-functional fluoropolymer with blocked-hexamethylene diisocyanate(HMDI) were studied by dynamic DSC and non-isothermal thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Results showed that cross-linking reaction occurred around $230-250^{\circ}C$ aftr the solvent and phenol, blocking agent, were removed upto the $150^{\circ}C$. It was considered that the reaction mechanism of the multi-functional fluoropolymer with HMDI might not be changed by the catalyst, however, the reaction rate became extremely faster upto to 100 times, showing the change of activation energy 81.8 kJ/mol for non-catalytic system to 61.7 kJ/mol for 1 phr catalytic system.

Recently, there has been a lot of studies and efforts to strengthen the stability of critical infrastructures against increasing cyber attacks to critical infrastructures. In this thesis, I defined what cyber threats are, after showing you various definitions about what cyber threats are and what the types are. After studying about significant cyber threats from China, I showed you the realities of cyber threats with the analysis about starting points, types of cyber threats, ratios of attacks and so on. At last, I defined guidelines about unnecessary oversea IP range blocking. Also, I proposed unnecessary oversea IP range blocking methodologies with per information system and per network system. Furthermore, I proposed blocking characteristics per security equipment and security operation improvement and blocking effects and service process to normal oversea users.
A system has been developed for monitoring the effect of neuromuscular blocking frugs and the neuromuscular function during anesthesia and surgery. This system is composed of software and hardware, the latter are nerve stimulator, force transducer, interface board(preamplifier, filter, peripheral input/output) and personal computer (apple ll) , the former are programmed in ASSEMBLY and BASIC language. The nerve stimulator which is controlled by personal computer is capable of delivering single shocks at o.)Hz, train of four at 2Hz and tetanic stimulation at 30, 100, 200Hz. The response, adduction of the thumb, is sensed by the force transducer. The output of the force transducer Is amplified, filtered, converted digital signal and then processed by the per- sonal computer. The personal computer quantia4es twitch and traln of four tesponse and calculates the 74 ratio (Ta/Tl )between the first and fourth response of train of four. This ratio is used to estimate the level of the neuromuscular block. This system has reaserch potential for determining the effect of newer neuromuscular blocking drugs for comparlsion with presently used drugs of alternatively, for delerminig the effects of blocking drugs in altered physilogical states.
