입술 애니메이션을 위한 한글 발음의 동시조음 모델 (Coarticulation Model of Hangul Visual speedh for Lip Animation)

  • 기존의 한글에 대한 입술 애니메이션 방법은 음소의 입모양을 몇 개의 입모양으로 정의하고 이들을 보간하여 입술을 애니메이션하였다. 하지만 발음하는 동안의 실제 입술 움직임은 선형함수나 단순한 비선형함수가 아니기 때문에 보간방법에 의해 중간 움직임을 생성하는 방법으로는 음소의 입술 움직임을 효과적으로 생성할 수 없다. 또 이 방법은 동시조음도 고려하지 않아 음소들간에 변화하는 입술 움직임도 표현할 수 없었다. 본 논문에서는 동시조음을 고려하여 한글을 자연스럽게 발음하는 입술 애니메이션 방법을 제안한다. 비디오 카메라로 발음하는 동안의 음소의 움직임들을 측정하고 입술 움직임 제어 파라미터들을 추출한다. 각각의 제어 파라미터들은 L fqvist의 스피치 생성 제스처 이론(speech production gesture theory)을 이용하여 실제 음소의 입술 움직임에 근사한 움직임인 지배함수(dominance function)들로 정의되고 입술 움직임을 애니메이션할 때 사용된다. 또, 각 지배함수들은 혼합함수(blending function)와 반음절에 의한 한글 합성 규칙을 사용하여 결합하고 동시조음이 적용된 한글을 발음하게 된다. 따라서 스피치 생성 제스처 이론을 이용하여 입술 움직임 모델을 구현한 방법은 기존의 보간에 의해 중간 움직임을 생성한 방법보다 실제 움직임에 근사한 움직임을 생성하고 동시조음도 고려한 움직임을 보여준다.Abstract The existing lip animation method of Hangul classifies the shape of lips with a few shapes and implements the lip animation with interpolating them. However it doesn't represent natural lip animation because the function of the real motion of lips, during articulation, isn't linear or simple non-linear function. It doesn't also represent the motion of lips varying among phonemes because it doesn't consider coarticulation. In this paper we present a new coarticulation model for the natural lip animation of Hangul. Using two video cameras, we film the speaker's lips and extract the lip control parameters. Each lip control parameter is defined as dominance function by using L fqvist's speech production gesture theory. This dominance function approximates to the real lip animation of a phoneme during articulation of one and is used when lip animation is implemented. Each dominance function combines into blending function by using Hangul composition rule based on demi-syllable. Then the lip animation of our coarticulation model represents natural motion of lips. Therefore our coarticulation model approximates to real lip motion rather than the existing model and represents the natural lip motion considered coarticulation.

비전기술에 의한 모바일 로봇의 정밀 자세 제어 알고리즘 개발에 관한 연구 (A study on Development of Precise Orientation control Algorithm of the Mobile Robot Based Vision Technology)

  • This study describe a new method to control posture and velocity for a wheeled mobile robot using visual feedback control method with a position based visual feedback. To slove the problem of vibration phenomena which were shown in the previous researches using a simple switching function based on a threshold, the proposed visual servo control law introduces the fusion function based on a blending function. The chattering problem and rapid motion of the mobile robot can be eliminated. And we consider the nonlinearity of the wheeled mobile robot unlike the previous visual servo control laws using linear control methods to improve the performances of the visual servo control law. The proposed posture control law using visual servoing is verified by a theoretical analysis and simulation and experimental results.

  • This paper proposes a posture stabilization control algorithm for a wheeled mobile robot using hybrid visual servo control method with a position based and an image based visual servoing (PBVS and IBVS).   • In this study surface modeling .method with 3D curve net is proposed. For surface modeling, ship hull was divided into several parts, Generated surface was loaded general purpose CAD program through IGES file format, and the quality of generated surface model was checked by CATIA's internal function. Lastly it is tried to find a method for improving the accuracy of surface connection by using the blending method in CATIA and the result was discussed.

  • 다중벽 탄소 나노튜브(Carbon nanotube, MWNTs)의 우수한 전기적 기계적 특성과 폴리우레탄의 우수한 기계적 물성을 이용하여 우수한 전기 전도성 복합체를 제조하기 위하여 말단기가 polyurethane로 기능화 된 탄소 나노튜브(PU-g-MWNTs)를 제조하였다. 말단기에 형성된 폴리우레탄과 고분자 메트릭스 간의 상용성으로 인한 계면 접합력으로 인해 기능화된 CNT 복합체 기능화 되지 않은 CNT에 비해 우수한 분산성을 나타내었다. PU-g-MWNT/PU 복합체의 전기 전도성을 PU-g-MWNT의 농도에 따라 측정하였으며 percolation threshold 이론에 의해 해석하였다. 그 결과 PU-g-MWNT/PU 복합체의 전기전도성은 임계농도 0.78 wt%과 임계지수 0.945를 가짐을 확인하였다.

현재의 공정조건을 향상시키기 위한 혼합물 반응표면 방법론 (Mixture response surface methodology for improving the current operating condition)

  • Mixture experiments involve combining ingredients or components of a mixture and the response is a function of the proportions of ingredients which is independent of the total amount of a mixture. The purpose of the mixture experiments is to find the optimum blending at which responses such as the flavor and acceptability are maximized. We assume the quadratic or special cubic canonical polynomial model over the experimental region for a mixture since the current mixture is assumed to be located in the neighborhood of the optimal mixture. The cost of the mixture is proportional to the cost of the ingredients of the mixture and is the linear function of the proportions of the ingredients. In this paper, we propose mixture response surface methods to develop a mixture such that the cost is down more than ten percent as well as mean responses are as good as those from the current mixture. The proposed methods are illustrated with the well known the flare experimental data described by McLean and Anderson(1966).

  • A major topic in the field of network and telecommunications is doing business on the Word Wide Web(WWW), which is called Electronic Commerce(EC). Another major topic is blending Artificial Intelligent techniques with the WWW. To provide customer with the information of goods in suit with a customer liking, we propose multi agent system which is consist of customer agent and search agent etc. Also we use case-based reasoning for customer liking searching the information of goods and training through the reuse. This reuse make efficient management of information and a process of operation. In the relation between customer and goods, if there are some goods which is not search from case-base reasoning, we calculate satisfaction function for customer purchase goods. And to provide customer with the information of goods in the first of satisfaction function, This EC system can always provide the information of goods which is satisfied to customer.

부드러운 계조 변화를 위한 잉크 분포 조절 기반의 멀티토닝 방법 (Multitoning Method Based on Arrangement of Ink Distribution for Smooth Tone Transition)

  • 멀티레벨 잉크젯 프린터는 다양한 도트 크기 및 다른 농도를 가진 잉크를 사용함으로써 뛰어난 색재현과 부드러운 계조를 표현할 수 있다. 이에 멀티토닝 기법에 관한 많은 연구 노력들이 더 나은 영상 화질을 위해 진행되고 있다. 하지만 멀티토닝은 프린터가 출력할 수 있는 레벨에서 일정 구간 같은 잉크가 찍히는 banding artifact가 발생한다. 이는 특히 부드러운 계조 변화 영역에서 불연속성이나 시각적으로 좋지 않은 결과를 낳게 된다. 따라서 이러한 banding artifact를 줄이기 위하여 본 논문에서는 개선된 임계값 배율 조정함수를 이용하여 프린터 출력 레벨에서 이웃 출력 잉크의 혼합 비율을 제어함으로써 잉크 분포를 조절하는 멀티토닝 방법을 제안한다. Banding artifact가 발생하는 영역에서의 잉크 분포는 이웃 출력 잉크의 혼합 시점을 조절하는 임계값 배율 조정 함수의 두 인자에 의해 달라진다. 따라서 8명의 관찰자를 이용하여 여러 가지 인자 값에 대한 프린터 출력 레벨에서의 잉크 분포를 조사하였다. 그 결과, 특정 인자 값을 가진 임계값 배율 조정 함수를 사용함으로써 시각적으로 부드러운 계조 변화를 표현할 수 있었다. 실험에서는 제안한 방법을 칼라와 회색조 ramp 영상에 적용하여 banding artifact 감소와 색재현성에서의 더 나은 성능을 확인하였다.

패션디자인에 나타난 몰핑의 표현특성 (The Expressive Characteristics of Morphing in Fashion Design)

  • This study analyzed the characteristics of morphing in fashion design through the documentaries on morphing and fashion. The characteristics of morphing in fine art, media, and design area were categorized as reversible metamorphosis, sequential dissolve and blurring of interpolation boundaries. The results were as follow in fashion design. Reversible metamorphosis showed an automatic silhouette transformation by remote control, the metamorphosis of folding method by wearer's own movements and the automatic silhouette transformation by the air pressurizing method. It represented the thoughts of omnipotence as in the feeling of the magical world, the human desire for control in life, the rationalization of magical thinking and imaginative power, the creation of a new dress space and the extension of dress function. Sequential dissolve showed juxtaposition in the same area by the time order, juxtaposition in virtual space through the computer graphics, the series of fashion photography by steel cut of the dress making process and the blending of digital film and fashion design. It represented the approach for the storytelling of fashion show, implication of creative fashion design process and the creation of organic forms and the feeling of fantasy through artificial technology. The blurring of interpolation boundary showed an overlay of different fabrics with transparent boundaries, an overlay of different patterns with transparent boundaries and the blending of fabrics through the visual mixing of color. It represented the obfuscation of the object, the connotation of the space order, the connotation of the extensive and various meanings and the integrative property of objects.

레이저 반사광을 이용한 미세 표면 거칠기 측정 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (Study on Algorithm of Micro Surface Roughness Measurement Using Laser Reflectance Light)

  • Reflected light can be decomposed into specular and diffuse components according to the light reflectance theory and experiments. The specular component appears in smooth surfaces mainly, while the diffuse one is visible in rough surfaces mostly. Therefore, each component can be used in forming their correlations to a surface roughness. However, they cannot represent the whole surface roughness seamlessly, because each formulation is merely validated in their available surface roughness regions. To solve this problem, new approaches to properly blend two light components in all regions are proposed in this paper. First is the weighting function method that a blending zone and rate can be flexibly adjusted, and second is the neural network method based on the learning from the measurement data. Simulations based on the light reflectance theory were conducted to examine its performance, and then experiments conducted to prove the enhancement of the measurement accuracy and reliability through the whole surface roughness regions.
