Treemaps, a space filling visualization technique, displays a massive data set of hierarchical data interactively on a single computer screen by mapping it to a matrix of rectangles. It allows users to visually inspect and manipulate data to find new relationships or discrepancies that are to difficult to find using traditional techniques. This paper applies treemaps to the evaluation of highway project bids, which contain hundreds or thousands of elements arranged in a hierarchical structure. Through a case study, treemaps are shown to be a potentially effective tool for bid evaluation by both contractors and State or Federal highway officials.

The purposes of this study were to investigate the importance level on factors affecting the foodservice management contract perceived by the salespersons in the foodservice company. To get the data on the perceived importance level on the affecting the foodservice management contract, the questionnaires were developed by the delphi technique and modified by the pilot test. The questionnaires consisted of 4 categories and 19 items on the factors affecting the foodservice management contract and the importance level on the factors were measured by 5-likert scale. From March 12 to April 13 in 2003, the self-administrative questionnaires were mailed to the 60 salespersons. The questionnaires were responded from the 48 salespersons(respondent rate : 77 %). As a result, the salesperson.perceived importance level of "the sales ability" was higher than those of the other categories in the private contract and the salesperson.perceived importance level of "the evaluation of the foodservice company" was higher than those of the other categories in the competitive bid. The importance of the "the evaluation of the foodservice company" between the private contract and the competitive bid was significantly different(p<.05), and the importance of "the sales ability" of the competitive bid was significantly higher than that of the private contract(p<.001).

현재 재건축사업은 추진 의사결정과 관련한 확정된 지표나 기준이 없이 막연한 수익성에 대한 기대를 토대로 시행되고 있으며, 사업시행과정 에서 직면하게 되는 제반 위험 에 대해 경험 적으로 대응하고 있는 실정이다. 또한 재건축조합이나 시공예정 회사들이 제공하는 관리처분계획에 포함된 수익성에 관한 정보는 결정론적 분석을 통한 단순한 예측에 불과하여 재건축을 시행하는 과정에서 결과가 수정되는 것이 일반적이다. 즉 수익성에 대한 예측이 재건축시행 과정상의 유동적인 상황에서 변경됨에 따라 예측결과에 대한 신뢰도는 근본적으로 내 외적인 한계를 갖고 있다. 본 연구는 재건축사업의 수익성에 영향을 미치는 변수들을 확률적으로 평가하여 수익과 위험을 동시에 분석하는 수익성예측모델을 개발하고, 사례연구를 통해 개발모델의 적합성을 검증하여 기존의 결정론적 접근방식이 갖는 한계를 극복하고자 한다.

As the distributed generation becomes more reliable and economically feasible, it is expected that a higher application of the distributed generation units would be interconnected to the existing grids. This new generation technology is linked to a large number of factors like economics and performance, safety and reliability, market regulations, environmental issues, or grid connection constrains. KEPOD (Korea Electric Power Corporation) is performing the project to develope the Distributed Micro Gas Turbine (MGT) technologies by using Swine BID-ENERGY. This paper describes the plans and strategies for the renewable energy of MGT on actual grid-connection under Korean situations. KEPOD also, has a research plan on bio-gas pretreatment system applicable to our domestic swine renewable resources and is performing concept design of pilot plant to test grid operation. In addition, this testing will be conducted in order to respond to a wide variety of needs for application and economic evaluation in the field of On-site generation.

Numerous reports show that alternative project delivery systems (PDSs) such as design-build (DB), construction management at risk (CMR), and design-build-maintain (DBM) are increasingly used in many countries. This study compared characteristics of each PDS (design-bid-build (DBB), DB, CMR, or DBM) by analyzing quantitative data from 9 research articles. In order to compare characteristics between DBB and alternative PDSs, the study is based on principal 3 factors - Time, Cost, and Quality. DB shows the best performance in the time part and also the cost performance depending on facility type and project size. The performance of quality has minor difference among different PDSs. These results support the fact that using an appropriate PDS by the characteristic of a project makes high value of efficiency and productivity.

Recent construction site large disaster occurs in, even normal disaster not be reduced, the efforts of pre-disaster prevention for this is also a need to study the evaluation index. By comprehensive examination zero reform the current lowest bid system has included the social responsibility index is scheduled, objective and quantitative evaluation indicators making construction safety areas that are included in the item of social responsibility is required ing. In this study, the construction, in order to prevent disasters, efforts pre disaster prevention be presented metrics in the construction safety in the field of comprehensive examination system and the evaluation index, it is intended to examine the evaluation items for the evaluation indices.

최근 국내의 설계시공일괄방식(이하, 일괄방식)은 설계시공분리방식(이하, 기타방식)에 비해 높은 초기투자비용으로 인하여, 효용성에 대한 의문이 지속되고 있다 한편 발주방식별 성능을 평가한 기존의 연구를 살펴보면, 일괄방식은 공기측면과 품질측면에서 기타방식에 비해 우수한 것으로 보고되고 있다. 비교적 정량적 평가가 가능한 공기측면의 성과와 달리, 품질 측면의 성능은 해당 시설물의 발주자와의 면담을 통하여 만족도 수준을 평가하는 정성적인 평가가 대부분이다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 기존의 연구와는 달리, 2000년 이후 일괄방식과 기타방식으로 발주된 교량계획에 대한 성능수준을 평가하기 위하여, 설계도서 중심으로 계획성, 시공성, 유지관리성 등의 측면에서 평가해 보고자 한다. 이를 통하여 실제로 발주방식별 품질 등의 성능 측면에서 발주방식별 성능수준의 차이를 도출하였다.

공공건설사업의 발주방식을 다양화하려는 차원에서 재정경제부는 2007년 10월 $\ulcorner$국가계약법시행령$\lrcorner$ 개정을 통해 기술제안형 입찰인 '기술제안입찰', '설계공모 기술제안입찰'을 새로이 도입하였다. 이러한 입찰은 사업의 특성 및 목적에 맞게 입찰자들에게 기술제안서를 요구한 후 이를 평가하여 낙찰자를 선정하는 방식이다. 본 연구는 국내에 처음 적용되는 기술제안형 입찰제도의 효과적인 운영을 위한 가이드라인을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 국내외 관련 문헌 및 사례를 분석하여 운영모델의 틀을 구축하였으며, 이후 수차례의 전문가 자문을 통해 표준적인 운영 프로세스, 기술제안서 작성기준, 기술제안서 평가기준, 그리고 낙찰자 결정방법을 개발하였다. 발주자의 중요한 의사결정 요소인 낙찰자 결정방법은 가상 사례를 이용한 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 '기준적합최저가', '가중치', '가격조정입찰', '기술조정점수'의 4가지 낙찰방식이 갖는 정량적 인 특성과 적용기준을 시사점으로 도출하여 제시하였다.

현재 턴키 대안입찰공사에서의 도급내역서 단가가 적정하게 책정되지 않고 있다. 그 사유는 각 입찰제도의 성격 및 그에 따른 단가책정 프로세스가 다르기 때문이며, 이러한 사유로 인하여 턴키 입찰에서는 총액을 맞추기 위한 단가가, 그리고 내역 입찰에서는 저가심의제를 통과하기 위한 단가가 도급내역서에 사용되고 있으면 그 단가는 각 공종별 적정단가라 할 수 없다. 그러나, 도급계약후에는 이러한 단가들이 각 입찰제도의 성격 및 그에 따른 단가책정 프로세스의 고려없이, 모두 도급기성, 설계변경, 물가변동 등 법적 기준단가로 사용되고 있으며, 또한, 저가하도급 판정 기준 및 실적공사단가로도 사용되고 있어 다른 제도에까지 영향을 주고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 시스템은 검증되지 않은 단가를 책정한 입찰자와 발주자에게 모두 리스크 상승요인으로 작용하고 있어, 본 연구에서 그 리스크인자를 규명하고 그 리스크의 정도를 파악하여 향후 그 리스크를 대비하고 관리할 수 있도록 하였다.

In line with current speed-up of railroad, a slab track has been increasingly adopted in a bid to secure the safety of track structure as well as to reduce the maintenance cost, and furthermore, the need for commercialization of domestically-developed swing-nose crossing turnout on slab track has been on the rise. For commercialization of swing-nose crossing turnout on slab which was developed in Korea, a technical and systematic performance evaluation system, considering local environment, shall be established and then the performance evaluation shall be accordingly implemented. This paper was intended to summarize the performance evaluation system, referring to the data available at home and abroad and the results of performance evaluation for domestically-developed swing-nose crossing turnout on slab track carried out to date based on that system. A performance evaluation system comprises the technical requirement appropriateness evaluation(component performance evaluation and design verification), laboratory test and on-site test. For domestically-developed swing-nose crossing turnout on slab track, appropriateness evaluation and laboratory test have been completed and the on-site test of those installed on the 2nd phase of Kyung-Bu HSR is underway now.
