In this paper, we realize the algebra of ${\mathbb{Z}}_2$ relations, signed partition algebras and partition algebras as tabular algebras and prove the cellularity of these algebras using the method of [2]. Using the results of Graham and Lehrer in [1], we give the modular representations of the algebra of ${\mathbb{Z}}_2$-relations, signed partition algebras and partition algebras.
We introduce a new class of bi-partition function ck(n), which counts the number of bi-color partitions of n in which the second color only appears at the parts that are multiples of k. We consider two partitions to be the same if they can be obtained by switching the color of parts that are congruent to zero modulo k. We show that the generating function for ck(n) involves the partial theta function and obtain the following congruences: c2(27n + 26) ≡ 0 (mod 3) and c3(4n + 2) ≡ 0 (mod 2).
Usability evaluation(UE) experiments are conducted to provide UE practitioners with guidelines for better outcomes. In UE research, significant quantities of empirical results have been accumulated in the past decades. While those results have been anticipated to integrate for producing generalized guidelines, traditional meta-analysis has limitations to combine UE empirical results that often show considerable heterogeneity. In this study, a new data mining method called weighted bi-clustering(WBC) was proposed to partition heterogeneous studies into homogeneous subsets. We applied the WBC to UE empirical results and identified two homogeneous subsets, each of which can be meta-analyzed. In addition, interactions between experimental conditions and UE methods were hypothesized based on the resulting partition and some interactions were confirmed via statistical tests.
The Remote Device Management (RDM) protocol is used to manage the devices in the lighting control networks. RDM provides bi-directional communications between a controller and many lighting devices over the DMX512-A network. In RDM, using a simple binary search scheme, which is based on the 48-bit unique ID (UID) of each device, discovers the lighting devices. However, the existing binary search scheme tends to require a large delay in the device discovery process. In this paper, we propose a novel partition-based discovery scheme for fast device discovery in RDM. In the proposed scheme, all devices are divided into several partitions as per the device UID, and the controller performs device discovery for each partition by configuring a response timer that each device will use. From numerical simulations, we can see that there is an optimal number of partitions to minimize the device discovery time for a given number of devices in the proposed scheme, and also that the proposed partition-based scheme can reduce the device discovery time, as compared to the existing binary search scheme.

Identity authentication is a crucial line of defense for network security, and passwords are still the mainstream of identity authentication. So far trawling password attacking has been extensively studied, but the research related with personal information is always sporadic. Probabilistic context-free grammar (PCFG) and Markov chain-based models perform greatly well in trawling guessing. In this paper we propose a systematic targeted attacking model based on structure partition and string reorganization by migrating the above two models to targeted attacking, denoted as TG-SPSR. In structure partition phase, besides dividing passwords to basic structure similar to PCFG, we additionally define a trajectory-based keyboard pattern in the basic grammar and introduce index bits to accurately characterize the position of special characters. Moreover, we also construct a BiLSTM recurrent neural network classifier to characterize the behavior of password reuse and modification after defining nine kinds of modification rules. Extensive experimental results indicate that in online attacking, TG-SPSR outperforms traditional trawling attacking algorithms by average about 275%, and respectively outperforms its foremost counterparts, Personal-PCFG, TarGuess-I, by about 70% and 19%; In offline attacking, TG-SPSR outperforms traditional trawling attacking algorithms by average about 90%, outperforms Personal-PCFG and TarGuess-I by 85% and 30%, respectively.

This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of anti-obesity and antioxidant enzyme activities in vitro by different solvent fractions from the roots of Codonopsis lanceolata. The cytotoxicity of different solvent fractions of C. lanceolata on 3T3-L1 preadipocytes were evaluated using the MTT assay, the rate of cell survival progressively decreased in a dose-dependent manner. Butyl alcohol fraction at $200{\mu}g/mL$ exhibited a pronounced cytotoxic effect (75.73%) on 3T3-L1 cell comparable to that of the hexane fraction (79.82%), methylene chloride fraction (84.02%), ethyl acetate fraction (87.62%) and DW fraction (86.30%) at the same concentration. The Oil Red O solution was used to determine whether different solvent fractions of C. lanceolata induce adipocyte differentiation in 3T3-L1 preadipocytes. Confluent 3T3-L1 cells were treated with $50{\mu}g/mL$ concentration of solvent fraction extracts from C. lanceolata. Inhibitory degree of lipid accumulation against solvent fraction extracts showed a significant level compared with the control. Both lipid accumulation and adipocyte differentiation showed relatively high effect on methyl chloride fraction. The root extract of C. lanceolata had the highest SOD enzyme activity of 84.5% in ethyl acetate partition layer and while water partition layer of diploid showed the lowest SOD enzyme activity of 57.9%. The activity of CAT, APX and POD showed a significantly higher activity in ethyl acetate partition layer compared with the other fraction. These results suggested that the roots of C. lanceolata may assist in the potential biological activity on anti-obesity and antioxidant capacity.
Sorption/desorption studies were conducted to determine sorption/desorption characteristics of phenolic compounds (phenol and 4-chlorophenol) in organically modified natural bentonite. The cationic exchange capacity (CEC) of bentonite was exchanged with a cationic surfactant, hexadecyltrimethylammonium (HDTMA), to enhance the removal capacity of organic phenol contaminants dissolved in aqueous solution. This modification produces a change of the surface property of bentonite from hydrophilic to organophilic. The single-solute and bi-solute competitive adsorptions were performed In batch mode to investigate the removal of two toxic organic Phenols, chlorophenol and 4-chlorophenol on the HDTMA-bentonite. The adsorption affinity of the 4-chlorophenol was higher than phenol due to higher octanol:water partition coefficient (Kow). The single-solute and bi-solute competitive desorptions were also performed investigate the competitive desorption of the phenolic compounds from HDTMA-bentonite. Freundlich model was used to analyze the single-solute adsorption/desorption results, while the IAST model predicted the hi-solute adsorption/desorption equilibria. The IAST model well predicted hi-solute competitive adsorption/desorption behaviors.
In the recent researches, a variety of ways for determining the locations of RBF centers have been proposed assuming that the number of RBF centers is known. But they have also many numerical drawbacks. We propose a new method to overcome such drawbacks. The strength of our method is to determine the locations and the number of RBF centers at the same time without any assumption about the number of RBF centers. The proposed method consists of two phases. The first phase is to determine the number and the locations of RBF centers using bi-section search method and enhanced k-medoids clustering which overcomes drawbacks of clustering algorithm. In the second phase, network weights are computed and the design of RBF network is completed. This new method is applied to several benchmark data sets. Benchmark results show that the proposed method is competitive with the previously reported approaches for center selection.

Organic solvents are widely used in biotransformation systems. There are many efforts to reduce the consumption of organic solvents because of their toxicity to the environment and human health. In recent years, several groups have started to explore novel organic solvents called room temperature ionic liquids in order to substitute conventional organic solvents. In this work, lipase-catalyzed transesterification in several uni- and bi-phasic systems was studied. Two representative hydrophobic ionic liquids based on 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolum coupled with hexafluorophosphate ([BMIM][$PF_6$]) and bis[{trifluoromethylsulfonyl} imide] ([BMIM] [$Tf_{2}N$]) were employed as reaction media for the transesterification of n-butanol. The commercial lipase, Novozym 435, was used for the transesterification reaction with vinyl acetate as an acyl donor. The conversion yield was increased around $10\%$ in a water/[BMIM][$Tf_{2}N$] bi-phasic system compared with that in a water/hexane system. A higher distribution of substrates into the water phase is believed to enhance the conversion yield in a water/[BMIM][$Tf_{2}N$] system. Partition coefficients of the substrates in the water/[BMIM][$Tf_{2}N$] bi-phasic system were higher than three times that found in the water/hexane system, while n-butyl acetate showed a similar distribution in both systems. Thus, RTILs appear to be a promising substitute of organic solvents in some biotransformation systems.
