  • The exponential proliferation of cutting-edge computing technologies has spurred organizations to outsource their data and computational needs. In the realm of cloud-based computing environments, ensuring robust security, encompassing principles such as confidentiality, availability, and integrity, stands as an overarching imperative. Elevating security measures beyond conventional strategies hinges on a profound comprehension of malware's multifaceted behavioral landscape. This paper presents an innovative paradigm aimed at empowering cloud service providers to adeptly model user behaviors. Our approach harnesses the power of a Particle Swarm Optimization-based Probabilistic Neural Network (PSO-PNN) for detection and recognition processes. Within the initial recognition module, user behaviors are translated into a comprehensible format, and the identification of malicious nano-structures behaviors is orchestrated through a multi-layer neural network. Leveraging the UNSW-NB15 dataset, we meticulously validate our approach, effectively characterizing diverse manifestations of malicious nano-structures behaviors exhibited by users. The experimental results unequivocally underscore the promise of our method in fortifying security monitoring and the discernment of malicious nano-structures behaviors.

  • This study investigated differences in the level of delinquent behaviors depending on family structures among adolescents. The subjects were 552 middle and high school students living in Seoul and Incheon, of whom 247 were being raised by single-parents and 305 by non-divorced parents. All respondents answered by self-report questionnaire. Data were analyzed by t-test, Scheffe test, ANOVA and two-way ANOVA. The major findings were as follows. First, the level of adolescents' delinquent behaviors differed by sex and age. High school students tended to be more engaged in violence and status delinquent behaviors than middle school students. Male students were more likely to engage in social, sex and properly delinquent behaviors than female students. Second, there were differences in the level of delinquent behaviors depending on family structures among the adolescents. Mostly, adolescents with non-divorced parents were less delinquent than those with a single parent. Third, among the adolescents from a divorced family, then whose parents had been divorced for 1-2 years had the highest score in sex and property delinquent behaviors.

  • Such social structures as bridges, buildings, dams and towers have been transformed by their own load or fundamental ground. They have been behaved by other external causes. These regular or irregular behaviors threaten to do their users safety. Therefore, to monitor the load of the structures or reaction shown by them could help to verify their behaviors. RTK GPS allows the use of a static base station and remote rover unit to allow for data collection within several seconds and in real time. It is useful for monitoring the behaviors of massive structures like bridges. In this Study, Among GPS methods, we used RTK GPS to analyze the precision of monitoring and then on the basis of it, we developed a monitoring system using RTK GPS when measured the behavior of main tower of a suspension bridge by using RTK GPS. Comparing a deviation between observation values, X axis was 1mm, Y axis was 1mm and Z axis 2.2mm. It turned out that it was possible to monitor and measure structures by RTK GPS.

  • A few characteristics of membrane structures which the author thinks important for design are described on the basis of his experience in research and design of this kind of structures. Different in behaviors of air-supported and air-inflated structures are first explained for a better understanding of these structures. Attention is drawn to unfavorable behaviors of an air-beam when it is reinforced by diagonal members. The shallowest membrane structure which can be made as an airdome is pursued, and its application to a metal membrane dome is shown. Attempts which have been made by the author seeking for the possibility of membrane structures made of metal sheet, plastic film with and without reinforcement are described with realized examples. A 100m long jumbo carp is explained as an example of a flying membrane.

  • This paper studies shear and tensile behaviors of headed stud connectors in double skin composite (DSC) structure. Firstly, 11 push-out tests and 11 tensile tests were performed to investigate the ultimate shear and tensile behaviors of headed stud in DSC shear wall, respectively. The main parameters investigated in this test program were height and layout of headed stud connectors. The test results reported the representative failure modes of headed studs in DSC structures subjected to shear and tension. The shear-slip and tension-elongation behaviors of headed studs in DSC structures were also reported. Influences of different parameters on these shear-slip and tension-elongation behaviors of headed studs were discussed and analyzed. Analytical models were also developed to predict the ultimate shear and tensile resistances of headed stud connectors in DSC shear walls. The developed analytical model incorporated the influence of the dense layout of headed studs in DSC shear walls. The validations of analytical predictions against 22 test results confirmed the accuracy of developed analytical models.

  • Many real networks exhibit overlapping community structures. Recent studies have been performed that analyze the impact of overlapping community structure on information propagation, but few of them concerned with individual behaviors. From this point of view, we propose a Markov process model to evaluate the performance of information propagation in social networks with overlapping community structures. In addition, many individual social behaviors are combined in the model. For example, individuals may exhibit selfish behaviors, such as individual and social selfishness, and people may discard the information after they have used it. The accuracy of the model is verified by simulation. Furthermore, the numerical results show that both overlapping community structure of the network and individual behaviors have a significant impact on the outbreak size and propagation speed of the information. Additionally, the overlapping community structure of the social network can reduce the impact of selfishness on information propagation.

  • Concrete creep, while significantly changing the static behaviors of concrete filled steel tube (CFST) structures, do alter the structures' dynamic behaviors as well, which is studied quite limitedly. The attempt to investigate the influence of concrete creep on the dynamic property and response of CFST arch bridges was made in this paper. The mechanism through which creep exerts its influence was analyzed first; then a predicative formula was proposed for the concrete elastic modulus after creep based on available test data; finally a numerical analysis for the effect of creep on the dynamic behaviors of a long-span half-through CFST arch bridge was conducted. It is demonstrated that the presence of concrete creep increases the elastic modulus of concrete, and further magnifies the seismic responses of the displacement and internal force in some sections of the bridge. This influence is related closely to the excitation and the structure, and should be analyzed case-by-case.

  • Problems related with flows around structures are typical in various engineering fields. The characteristics of these flow structures depend strongly on the shape of the body. The flow regime around square cylinders which are also employed in various applications has also been investigated. In addition to a single body, flows past closely spaced structures arranged in tandem are observed in numerous practical applications. In this study, the flow characteristics around the circular and the square cylinder were investigated according to S/D. The velocity fields and Reynolds stress of the single cylinders were acquired to explain the flow behaviors between tandem cylinders. The differences observed in the flow behaviors of square and circular cylinders were studied. The flow patterns around two tandem cylinders can be classified into three types of wake interference behaviors according to S/D. This is related with the flows between cylinders.
