보호지역 관리정책 수립을 위한 국민 환경의식 및 실천 행동수준 분석 - 허베이 스피리트호 유류유출사고를 중심으로 - (Analysis of Environmental Consciousness and Protection Behavior to Establish Protected Area Management - Focused on Hebei Spirit Oil Spill -)

  • 본 연구는 허베이 스피리트호 유류유출사고 이후 일반 국민의 환경의식과 환경보호를 위한 실천행동수준 분석을 통해 보호지역 관리정책 수립을 위한 기초자료를 도출하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2011년 5월부터 6월까지 5대 광역시(서울, 부산, 대구, 대전, 광주)에서 일반 국민 987명을 대상으로 현지조사를 실시하였다. 분석 결과 태안해안국립공원을 유류유출사고로 인한 피해복구지역으로 인지하거나, 자원봉사활동, 환경보호 및 보존 단체 및 교육프로그램에 참여한 경험 등과 같은 환경적 관심이 있을수록 환경에 대한 긍정적이고 적극적인 태도를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과는 생물학적 보전과 이용의 균형을 고려한 보호지역 관리에 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

  • The purpose of this study was to achieve regarding the environmental problem due to excessive economic development for human being's continous life and to try to enhance the quality of life. The major findings of this study are as followings: 1) Environmental consciousness and activity are closely correlated and also postively related to quality of life. Accordingly, environmental consciousness should be inspired and the environmental activities performed successfully to enhance the quality of life so that we can lead higher quality of life. 2) Income takes the highest position in the life-influncing factor with the following sequence of environmental consciousness, preservation acitivity, housekeeper's education level and age. So, earlier and steady education are important in raising the education level to have people equipped with environmental consciousness and activity. Moreover, we should be able to create income through education to enhance the quality of life. Accordingly, we should take a positive measure for enhancing environmental preservation and quality of life to meet two solutions, such as mankind's continuous development and value-oriented life.

환경의식, 사회책임적 의류소비태도와 패스트 패션 결과지각의 관계 (The influence of environmental consciousness and socially responsible clothing consumption attitude on perceived consequences of fast fashion)

  • This study examines how environmental consciousness and socially responsible clothing consumption attitude influence people's perceptions of the consequences of fast fashion. Data were collected through a questionnaire survey administered to females in their 20s to 40s, and a total of 430 surveys were used in the final analysis. The research results are as follows. First, environmental consciousness-which was conceptualized as interest in consumer effectiveness and the environment-had a positive influence on attitudes toward socially responsible clothing consumption attitude, i.e., clothing recycling and resource conservation. As the perception of consumer effectiveness was high, respondents had a tendency not to follow trends. Second, consumers with a high level of interest in the environment perceived the effect of fast fashion on the environment as serious, and they felt negatively toward personal use of fast fashion. Third, consumers with strong resource conservation behavior perceived the effect of fast fashion on the environment as serious, but those with positive attitudes toward secondhand clothing did not appear to have that perception. Finally, consumers who followed trends and those with weakly held attitudes about resource conservation felt positively toward personal use of fast fashion. The results of this research indicate that environmental consciousness is an important factor for socially responsible clothing consumption behavior. In addition, consumers with strong attitudes regarding resource conservation were more perceptive of the negative effect of fast fashion on the environment.

  • 국보 제11호 익산미륵사지석탑은 현재 문화유산의 원형보존을 위하여 해체복원 중이다. 이 석탑의 구성암석은 비교적 풍화에 강한 화강암으로 이루어져 있으나 오랜 세월 동안 대기환경에 노출되면서 다양한 형태의 오염물이 피복되어 원암의 색상을 잃었다. 이 연구에서는 이차적 무기오염물을 성인적 유형으로 세분하고, 육안으로 확연히 판별되는 산화 변색된 부재만을 엄선하여 오염물질의 산출상태 및 오염종을 정량분석 하였다. 또한 용해실험을 통해 가용성 오염종의 지구화학적 거동특성을 규명하고 세정방법 및 효과 등을 분석하여, 표면 세정제의 보존과학적 적용가능성을 검토하였다.

신세대 소비자의 역할수행 및 녹색소비행동 (New Generation행s Consumer roles and Green Consumption Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the tendency of the new generation’s consumer roles and green consumption behavior for the environmental conservation. This study is also to reveal some fundamental information for an environmental education program which si able to support the new generation consumers to participate voluntarily in an environmental activity. The 500 subjects of this study were selected from the new generation consumers who wre residing in Seoul, 1998. The 414 data wre finally analyzed by Mean, t-Test, ANOVA, and Multiple Regression Analysis. The major findings were as follows: 1) the purchasing roles of the new generation consumer tended to be higher than the citizen participation’s roles. The variables with the higher score for the new generation’s green consumption behavior were in the rank of the isolation of environmental waste, the purchasing behavior of green product, the recycling environmental resource, and citizen’s participating roles in environmental activity. 2) the new generation’s consumer roles showed a significant differences, according to variables for the environmental value, environmental education, and participation of the environmental and societal activity 3) the green consumption behavior for the new generation consumers showed a significant differences, according to sex, environmental value, participation of the environmental and societal activity. 4) the most influential variables for the green consumption behavior of the new generation consumers were in the rank of consumer roles, educational values, and the participation of the environmental activity. As we see above, the consumer education for the new generations needs to focus on consumer’s roles that let them participate voluntarily in environmental and societal activity, as well as practice positively to use green environmental products whenever they select some items in the markets.

울산지역 주부들의 음식물 쓰레기 처리행동 및 의식조사 (The Behavior and Consciousness of Housewives about Disposal of Foods Waste in Ulsan Area)

  • This study was carried out to obtain the information concerning the behavior and underlying consciousness of housewives about the disposal of foods waste and to find out relationships among environmental variables. Data were obtained through questionnaires and interviews from 350 housewives in Ulsan area. Foods waste can be produced at every stage of cooking. It was found that the most amount of foods waste was produced at the preparation stage of cooking. The type of dishes which produces the most waste was chigas. About 49.4% of foods waste consisted of vegetables and fruits and 18.5% of that was fishes. The environmental concern related to foods waste disposal was relatively high among subjects and they were willing to accept foods waste reducing system if it is not too complicated to use and not too expensive. These results have demonstrated that menu planning before food preparation and buying cleaned and trimmed materials in the market should be highly recommended to reduce the foods waste. To improve the disposal behavior of foods waste, it is required that well programmed education for environmental conservation and the public facility for foods waste disposal.

  • Demand-side Management can be defined as'any utility activity aimed at modifying customers' use of energy to produce desired changes in the utility's load shape'. Customers benefit by being able to control energy costs and improve quality of life and become more productive. Utilities benefit from DSM's value as a resource that enhances asset utilization and reduces both fuel costs and environmental emissions. The scope of DSM includes load management through rate schedules and conservation by improving energy effciency and using electricity consumption effectively. This paper study the DSM resource evaluation and customer behavior analysis todesign the DSM Program plan in response to customer needs. We develop basic system dynamics model to analysis the customer behavior based on a survey research. The DSM Program participants in the Hi- efficiency Inverter, Electric motor and efficient lighting applicancies operating by Conservation program 2002 become the survey objects. DSM resource evaluation evaluate firstt the distribution potentialities of each machine and then forecast the degree of diffusion. We apply the system dynamic approach to simulate the dynamic DSM market situation at the domestic beginning. This model will give the energy Planner the opportunity to create different scenarios for DSM program planning. Also it will lead to increased understanding of the dynamic DSM market

  • 최근 환경보존에 대한 국제적인 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이러한 시류에 따라 ESG경영이 공공부문으로 확장된 SDGs의 성공적인 정책화는 개별 기업 뿐만이 아닌 자본시장과 한 국가의 성패를 가를 키워드로 부상하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 개별 국가에서도 환경과 관련된 다양한 정책을 시행하고 있다. 그 가운데 하나가 환경세를 도입하여 국가정책을 시행하는 것이다. 이와 관련하여 환경오염 행위를 직접 간섭하기보다는 경제적인 유인 원리를 통해서 간접적으로 생산자나 소비자의 행태에 영향을 주어 환경오염을 통제하는 환경세를 활용한 정책이 있다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라에서 시행되고 있는 해양관광지의 환경세의 실태를 파악하고, 정책의 실효성을 검토한다. 더불어 현재 시행되고 있는 제도의 한계점을 확인하여 개선점을 연구하였다.

은줄팔랑나비(나비목: 팔랑나비과) 성충의 행동특성과 서식지 보전방안 (Behavioral Characteristics of Leptalina unicolor (Lepidoptera: Hesperiidae) and Conservation Methods for their Habitat)

  • To conserve the population of a hesperiid butterfly, Leptalina unicolor, inhabiting the protected areas of Jaeyaksan, we provide ecological information on their behavior and propose habitat conservation measures, such as the creation of alternative habitats based on comprehensive information. The behavioral study used a method of re-capture after releasing the butterfly with enamel marks on the wings. Adult behaviors were shown in four patterns: flying, settling on a plant, nectar absorption, and water absorption. Both males and females had the highest proportion of flight movement overall; however, males had a slightly higher proportion of flight movement. As for duration, females spent more time settling on plants to select spawning sites, and males seemed to take a longer time for water absorption activities, to absorb minerals needed to form the spermatophore. The average travel distance of butterflies was 27.5 m for females and 46.7 m for males, with daily activity ranges from 11.2 m to 43.8 m, and 21.4 to 57.6 m, respectively. The most important condition to preserve the habitat of Leptalina unicolor is to maintain the community of Miscanthus sinensis, a food plant. Additionally, because this butterfly has a high rate of water absorption activities, wetlands should be maintained.

Aerosol Deposition and Behavior on Leaves in Cool-temperate Deciduous Forests. Part 2: Characteristics of Fog Water Chemistry and Fog Deposition in Northern Japan

  • The fog water chemistry and deposition in northern Japan were investigated by fog water and throughfall measurements in 2010. Fog water was sampled weekly by an active-string fog sampler at Lake Mashu from May to November. Throughfall measurements were conducted using rain gauges under three deciduous trees along the somma of the lake from August to October. The mean fog deposition rate (flux) was calculated using throughfall data to estimate the total fog water deposition amount for the entire sampling period. $NH_4{^+}$ and $SO{_4}^{2-}$ were the most abundant cation and anion, respectively, in the fog water samples. A mean pH of 5.08 in the fog water, which is higher than those in rural areas in Japan, was observed. The [$NH_4{^+}$]/[$SO{_4}^{2-}$] equivalent ratio in fog water was larger than 1.0 throughout the study period, indicating that $NH_3$ gas was the primary neutralizing agent for fog water acidity. The mean rate and total amount of fog water deposition were estimated as 0.15 mm $h^{-1}$ and 164 mm, respectively. The amounts of nitrogen and sulfate deposition via fog water deposition were corresponded to those reported values of the annual deposition amounts via rainfall.
