셰일 셰이커 기초 내구성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study for Basic Durability Assessment of Shale Shaker)

  • 본 연구에서는 이수순환시스템 핵심 장비 중의 하나인 셰일 셰이커 시작품의 핵심 부품을 선정하여 기초 내구성 평가를 수행하고 분석하였다. 기초 내구성 평가의 경우, 바이브레이터 모터(이하, 모터)가 장시간 운전에 따른 모터 베어링의 수명과 모터로 부터 유발된 진동에 의한 지지 스프링의 강성저하가 장비의 내구성에 적지 않은 영향을 미칠 수 있을 것이란 가정을 두었다. 모터 연속운전에 있어, 전 초기 진동 가속도의 P-P 수준은 0.72 g 수준 이었으나 운전 100 시간 경과 후, 진동 가속도의 P-P 수준은 1.26 g로 급격히 상승함을 볼 수 있었으며, 진동 상승의 원인분석을 위해 볼 결함주파수 분석기법을 통해 베어링 결함을 추정할 수 있었다. 또한, 셰일 셰이커의 가진 조건을 피로내구시험에 적용하여 시험 2,000 시간 경과 시, 스프링의 강성이 약 3.78 % 감소함을 확인 할 수 있었다. 향후 본 연구는 스프링 강성의 저하가 셰일 셰이커의 입자제거 효율이 미치는 영향 분석과 그에 따른 고장수명에 예측에 관한 후속 연구를 수행 할 예정이다.

축 처짐과 선미관 저널 베어링 유막 압력의 상호작용을 고려한 추진축계 정렬 해석 (Propulsion Shafting Alignment Analysis Considering the Interaction between Shaft Deflection and Oil Film Pressure of Sterntube Journal Bearing)

  • Precise propulsion shafting alignment of ships is very important to prevent damage of its support bearings due to excessive reaction forces caused by hull deflection, forces acted on propeller and crankshaft, and so forth. In this paper, a new iterative shafting alignment calculation procedure considering the interaction between shaft deflection and oil film pressure of Sterntube Journal Bearing (SJB) bush with single or multiple slopes is proposed. The procedure is based on a pressure analysis to evaluate distributed equivalent support stiffness of SJB by solving Reynolds equation and a deflection analysis of shafting system by a finite element method based on Timoshenko beam theory. SJB is approximated with multi-point biaxial elastic supports equally distributed to its length. Their initial stiffness values are estimated from dynamic reaction force calculated by assuming SJB as single rigid support. Then, the shaft deflection and the support stiffness of SJB are sequentially and iteratively calculated by applying a criteria on deflection variation between sequential calculation results. To demonstrate validity and applicability of the proposed procedure for optimal slope design of SJB, numerical analysis results for a shafting system are described.

Performance control analysis of concrete-filled steel tube sepa-rated spherical joint wind power tower

  • In this study, to explore the working performance of the CFST split spherical node wind power tower, two groups of CFST split spherical joint plane towers with different web wall thicknesses and a set of space systems were analyzed. The tower was subjected to a low-cycle repeated load test, and the hysteresis and skeleton curves were analyzed. ABAQUS finite element simulation was used for verification and comparison, and on this basis parameter expansion analysis was carried out. The results show that the failure mode of the wind power tower was divided into weld tear damage between belly bar, high strength bolt thread damage and belly rod flexion damage. In addition, increasing the wall thickness of the web member could render the hysteresis curve fuller. Finally, the bearing capacity of the separated spherical node wind power tower was high, but its plastic deformation ability was poor. The ultimate bearing capacity and ductility coefficient of the simulated specimens are positively correlated with web diameter ratio and web column stiffness ratio. When the diameter ratio of the web member was greater than 0.13, or the stiffness ratio γ of the web member to the column was greater than 0.022, the increase of the ultimate bearing capacity and ductility coefficient decreased significantly. In order to maximize the overall mechanical performance of the tower and improve its economy, it was suggested that the diameter ratio of the ventral rod be 0.11-0.13, while the stiffness ratio γ should be 0.02-0.022.

  • Even through the problem of misalignment is of great importance, not much work has been reported in the literature on the effect of misalignment on the vibrations of the gear-bearing systems. Therefore, the nonlinear dynamic characteristics of the gear driving system due to misalignment are investigated in this work. Transmission error for helical gear and bearing nonlinear stiffness is calculated. (omitted)

  • A newly devised linear flexures bearing (KIMM-LFB) for reciprocating machines is disclosed having improved reliability for long lift. KIMM-LFB is an integrated device comprising a axially moving diaphragm with circumferentially arranged arc-shaped flexure blades secured between rim and hub spacers, which turn out to have higher radial stiffness and lower Von-Mises peak stresses than the one with circumferential tangent cantilever flexure blades.   • In this paper, the thermal effects on the performance of floating ring journal bearing are investigated theoretically. The numerical analyses include pressure drop at inner film due to a centrifugal force, fluid momentum effects of supply oil into inner film and thermal effects in lubricating films. All performance data are presented as the rotating speed of journal from 10,000 rpm to 70,000 rpm.
