논유출 특성을 고려한 홍수분석 시스템 개발 (Development of Flood Analysis System(FAS) based on runoff characteristics of paddy basin)

  • The existing flood runoff models, Complex Hydrograph and HEC-1, have some problems which do not properly represent runoff characteristics on the Korean paddy basin and their basin slopes. In this study, FAS(Flood Analysis System) was developed in order to supplement those problems, which was built calibrating runoff curve number for paddy basin and applying basin slopes to classify 5 levels. And also the FAS can synthesize the flood hydrographs of subbasin and analyze flood routing along a stream. To verify the applicability of the FAS, the computed flood hydrographs were compared with the observed hydrographs from the four watersheds. In the small basin smaller than 10$\textrm{km}^2$, the results of the FAS did not completely agree with the observed ones due to concentration time delay of paddy storage effect while in the medium and large size basin showed good agreements between the observed and computed ones. Therefore, it was concluded that the FAS could be applied for the flood analysis of Korean watershed which was characterized by paddy storage effect.

Tectonics and Evolutionary History of the Cretaceous Intra-arc Yongdong Basin, Korea

  • The Yongdong basin developed during Early Cretaceous in the central part of the Korean Peninsula and bounded on the northwest and southeast by northeast trending mega-scale strike-slip Yongdong Fault. An 8 km thick succession of exclusively terrigeneous sediments can be grouped into two mega-sequences. In concert with the migration of depocenter, the upper sequence overlaps the lower and occupies northern part of the basin during basin evolution. Alluvial and lacustrine environments were predominantly formed from early to late stage of the basin formation. Several lines of evidence support that the basin was formed within intra-arc tectonic environments and destroyed by polyphase tectonic force. Schematic evolutionary diagram of the basin is proposed.

거창 분지와 가조 분지에 발달한 화강암 사질 풍화층의 화학적 풍화 양상 - CIA분석을 중심으로 (Chemical Weathering Characteristics and CIA of Granitic Grus Developed in Geochang and Gajo Basin, Korea)

  • From the results of the CIA analysis (A-CN-K and A-CNK-FM ternary diagram), we concluded that granitic grus experienced low chemical alteration and contains plenty of sandy material The chemical alteration of Geochang and Gajo Basin advanced further than that of Yeongju-Bonghwa basin, but does not come to spatial differentiation as Chuncheon Basin. The weathered mantles of inner hills in the basin exhibit very weak alteration, and there is little spatial differentiation of chemical alteration between footslope of mountains, footslope hills. Most of hills are still in incipient weathering stage and have plenty of sandy materials. Therefore the chemical characteristics of granitic hills in Geochang and Gajo basin show that granitic weathered mantles are not saprolite formed by alteration but may be just grus (sandy weathered mantles).

Estimating Basin of Attraction for Multi-Basin Processes Using Support Vector Machine

  • A novel method of transient stability analysis is presented in this paper. The proposed method extracts data points near the basin-of-attraction boundary and then builds a support vector machine (SVM) model learned from the generated data. The constructed SVM classifier has been shown to reduce dramatically the conservativeness of the estimated basin of attraction.

TM과 레이더를 이용한 유역평균강수량 차이와 유역특성 및 강우형태와의 상관성 (The analysis of differences of mean basin precipitation between TM and radar using correlation with basin characteristics and rainfall patterns)

  • 본 연구는 레이더와 TM간 유역평균강수량 측정의 차이를 2018년 발생한 상당 규모의 호우시 한강과 낙동강의 51개 표준유역을 대상으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 레이더와 TM간의 유역평균강수량 값이 누적강수량은 -65.05~26.09%, 10분최대 강수량은 -82.00~3.80%의 차이가 발생하였다. 이러한 차이를 유역의 특성인 유역면적, 유역평균고도, 유역형상계수 등과 비교하였으나 뚜렷한 상관성을 찾기가 어려웠으며, 지점강수량도 유역평균강수량과 비슷한 경향을 보이는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 강우형태와 같은 기상학적 조건과의 상관성을 확인하기 위해 고도별 레이더 반사도 값을 분석하였으며 이를 통해 레이더와 TM간 유역평균강수량 측정값의 차이는 유역특성과 같은 지형적 조건 보다는 기상학적 조건과 더 상관성이 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 위성영상과 GIS를 이용하여 금호강유역(琴湖江流城)의 유역특성인자(流域特性因子) 주제별로 데이터베이스화하여 수문특성자료(水文特性資料)를 산출하였다. 토지에 대한 정량적인 정보를 제공해 주는 위성영상(衛星映像)처리를 통한 토지이용도 작성은 금호강유역(琴湖江流城)과 같이 광범위한 유역(流域)의 토지이용자료를 분석하는데 매우 효율적이며, 또한 대량의 지표자료의 정확한 분석이 가능하고 이를 다른 주제도와 중첩함으로써 공간적인 주제간의 통계적 연산의 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 GIS를 이용한 유역특성인자(流域特性因子)의 분석은, 기본도에서 주제별로 tracing하는 과정은 효과적이지 못하나, 일단 수치화 하여 데이터베이스화하면 상이한 주제도와의 중첩분석과 속성자료와의 상관분석이 가능하므로, 유역(流域)관리와 유역(流域)의 지표공간 분석에 매우 효율적으로 이용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 특히 지표면 변화에 대한 자료의 수정 및 갱신이 용이하며 유역(流域)에 대한 인문사회 속성자료와의 상관분석으로 보다 신속하고 정확한 유역특성자료(流城特性資料)의 추출 및 보다 효율적인 유역(流城)관리 방안을 구축할 수 있을 것이다.

남극반도 동부 브랜스필드분지의 탄성파구조 (Seismic Structures of the Eastern Bransfield Basin, Antarctic Peninsula)

  • 남극반도와 남셰틀랜드군도 사이에 위치한 대륙주변부 분지인 브랜스필드분지는 중앙 동부 서부 분지 등 세 개의 분지로 형성되어 있다. 1995년 12월 동부분지에서 획득한 탄성파 자료에는 확장해령 및 기반암 상승부 단층 분지형태 퇴적층 지각 및 퇴적층의 변형 양상 다이아퍼 그리고 등수심 퇴적층 등 특징적인 지각구조들이 잘 나타난다. 디셉션섬과 브리지먼섬을 연결하는 중앙분지의 확장축은 브리지먼섬을 지나 동부분지의 중앙부까지는 연장되지만 동부분지의 북동부 지역에서는 확장작용과 관련없는 두꺼운 퇴적층이 쌓인 퇴적분지가 발달되어 있다. 이는 브랜스필드분지의 확장축을 따라 수행된 배호분지 확장작용이 동부분지의 중앙부까지만 진행되었음을 지시한다. 북동부 지역의 분지면에서는 분지 확장축과 직각방향인 남동 북서 방향으로 발달한 많은 단층작용은 현재 남동 북서 방향으로 진행되고 있는 쉐클턴파쇄대 단층운동과 연관된 것으로 생각된다. 남극판과 스코시아판의 경계에 가까운 동부분지에는 두 판의 경계를 따라 진행되고 있는 좌향이동단층작용에 의한 확장력이 전달됨에 따라 북동부 지역의 깊은 분지 양쪽 대륙주변부에 나타나는 정단층들과 다이아퍼 등과 같은 확장구조들이 형성된 것으로 해석된다.

  • Tertiary Pohang basin distributed in south weatern part of the korean peninsula, is composed of Chunbuk formation as the basal conglomerate, Hakjon formation, Duho formation and intrusive basalt which is 15 Ma by absolute age data. The basement of the basin is represented by Cretaceous sedimentary rocks, Hakjon welded tuff and Chilpo welded tuff and rhyolite. The fault systems at the basement of the Pohang basin are consist of NNE direction fault, WNW to EW trend fault. NNE fault is not only strike-slip fault but also normal fault. n fault has sinistral strike-slip sene and the EW fault is strike-slip and normal fault. In the Tertiary basin, the fault system is represented by nm strike-slip fault, EW normal fault and NNE thrust fault. By these fault relationships and geometries, it is interpreted that NNE sinistral strike-slip fault and nomal fault have acted at Creceous times. At Tertiary tines, NNE dextralstrike-slip fault and EW normal fault has created. Progressively Tertiary Pohang basin was influenced by the trenspression to make thrust fault and fold, namely as inversion tectonics.

수리계획을 이용한 금호강유역의 최적 물배분 시스템모델 (Optimum Water Allocation System Model in Keumho River Basin with Mathematical Programming Techniques)

  • This study aims at the development of a mathematical approach for the optimal water allocation in the river basin where available water is not in sufficient. Its optimal allocation model is determined from the comparison and analysis of mathematical programming techniques such as transportation programming and dynamic programming models at its optimal allocation models. The water allocation system used in this study is designed to be the optimal water allocation which can satisfy the water deficit in each district through inter-basin water transfer between Kumho river basin which is a tributary catchment of Nakdong river basin, and the adjacent Hyungsan river basin, Milyang river basin and Nakdong upstream river basin. A general rule of water allocation is obtained for each district in the basins as the result of analysis of the optimal water allocation in the water allocation system. Also a comparison of the developed models proves that there is no big difference between the models Therefore transportation programming model indicates most adequate to the complex water allocation system in terms of its characteristics It can be seen, however, that dynamic programming model shows water allocation effect which produces greater net benefit more or less.

대규모 유역에서의 적정 용수이용량 산정 (Optimal Estimation of Water Use in the Large-Scale Basin)

  • In general method to estimate the water supplies in the large-scale basin, indirect estimation method such as unit loading factor method has been used. However, the estimated water supplies are much different to the real water supplies used in the any basin because these general methods estimate them considering water supply demands only. Especially, water supplies for irrigation are big different to the real water supplies in which the water supplies for irrigation are depend on the weather conditions such as evaporation, basin conditions such as infiltration, the reservoir operation rule for irrigation water, and distribution methods. Thus, a new estimation method is developed to estimate the real water demands which is essential factors for the effective water resources operation in the basin. This method is for estimating the water supplies and return rates based on the survey of the irrigation reservoirs and the analysis of effects to the stream flows, return flows, and water supplies for irrigation which water supplies and return rates are used in the basin water management model. The water supply usages in each subbasin are validated by comparisons between the simulated discharges from the basin water management model and the discharges measured in the control points.
