The present paper propose a real-time moving object recognition and tracking method using the wavelet-based neural network and invariant moments. Candidate moving region detection phase which is the first step of the proposed method detects the candidate regions where a pixel value changes occur due to object movement based on the difference image analysis between continued two image frames. The object recognition phase which is second step of proposed method recognizes the vehicle regions from the detected candidate regions using wavelet neurual-network. From object tracking Phase which is third step the recognized vehicle regions tracks using matching methods of wavelet invariant moments bases to recognized object. To detect a moving object from image sequence the candidate regions detection phase uses an adaptive thresholding method between previous image and current image as result it was robust surroundings environmental change and moving object detections were possible. And by using wavelet features to recognize and tracking of vehicle, the proposed method decrease calculation time and not only it will be able to minimize the effect in compliance with noise of road image, vehicle recognition accuracy became improved. The result which it experiments from the image which it acquires from the general road image sequence and vehicle detection rate is 92.8%, the computing time per frame is 0.24 seconds. The proposed method can be efficiently apply to a real-time intelligence road traffic surveillance system.

Behcet's disease(BD) is a multisystem vasculitis that almost any organ in the body may be involved. Its diagnosis bases on clinical criteria in the absence of any specific laboratory test to confirm it. The clinical criteria proposed for the diagnosis for BD include recurrent oral and genital ulceration, skin lesion, ocular changes, and positive response to pathergy test. Besides these essential features, BD may manifest itself on the gastrointestinal tract, central nervous system, and other systemic involvements. Among these clinical features, recurrent oral ulcers are present in most BD patients, often as the initial symptom, preceding other manifestations by many years. Therefore, dentists are in the important position for the early detection and diagnosis of BD. In this case report, we are presenting a case of 6 year-old girl, who came to the pediatric dentistry department for evaluation and treatment of pain and dysphagia caused by severe recurrent oral ulcers. Through taking detailed dental and medical history and clinical examination, we reported the possibility of BD to the medical team and prescribed topical lidocaine to relief pain during swallowing. The medical team, which involved pediatrics, ophthalmology, dermatology, and gastroenterology, finally confirmed BD through various examinations. Detection of the possibility of BD in the dental field helped early diagnosis and proper management by the medical team.

In this study, we investigated the middle school students' processes of scientific graph construction from the perspective of the problem solving process. Ten 9th graders participated in this study. They constructed a scientific graph based on pictorial data depicting precipitation reaction. The think-aloud method was used in order to investigate their thinking processes deeply. Their activities were videotaped, and semi-structured interviews were also conducted. The analysis of the results revealed that their processes of scientific graph construction could be classified into four types according to the problem solving strategy and the level of representations utilized. Students using the structural strategy succeeded in constructing scientific graph regardless of the level of representation utilized, by analyzing the data and identifying the trend based on the propositional knowledge about the target concept of the graph. Students of random strategy-higher order representation type were able to succeed in constructing scientific graph by systematically analyzing the characteristics of the data using various representations, and considering the meaning of the graph constructed in terms of the scientific context. On the other hand, students of random strategy-lower order representation type failed to construct correct scientific graph by constructing graph in a way of simply connecting points, and checking the processes of graph construction only without considering the scientific context. On the bases of the results, effective methods for improving students' ability to construct scientific graphs are discussed.

During embryo implantation in pigs, the uterine endometrium undergoes dramatic morphological and functional changes accompanied with dynamic gene expression. Since the greatest amount of embryonic losses occur during this period, it is essential to understand the expression and function of genes in the uterine endometrium. Although many reports have studied gene expression in the uterine endometrium during the estrous cycle and pregnancy, the pattern of global gene expression in the uterine endometrium in response to the presence of a conceptus (embryo/fetus and associated extraembryonic membranes) has not been completely determined. To better understand the expression of pregnancy-specific genes in the endometrium during the implantation period, we analyzed global gene expression in the endometrium on day (D) 12 and D15 of pregnancy and the estrous cycle using a microarray technique in order to identify differentially expressed endometrial genes between D12 of pregnancy and D12 of the estrous cycle and between D15 of pregnancy and D15 of the estrous cycle. Results showed that the global pattern of gene expression varied with pregnancy status. Among 23,937 genes analyzed, 99 and 213 up-regulated genes and 92 and 231 down-regulated genes were identified as differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in the uterine endometrium on D12 and D15 of pregnancy compared to D12 and D15 of the estrous cycle, respectively. Functional annotation clustering analysis showed that those DEGs included genes involved in immunity, steroidogenesis, cell-to-cell interaction, and tissue remodeling. These findings suggest that the implantation process regulates differential endometrial gene expression to support the establishment of pregnancy in pigs. Further analysis of the genes identified in this study will provide insight into the cellular and molecular bases of the implantation process in pigs.
Purpose - This study aims to seek various plans to maintain the advancement of the overseas and domestic employment scenario through a case analysis of the Japanese industry, which maintains domestic employment while promoting the overseas advancement of companies despite having a similar industrial structure as Korea. The study further intends to derive insightful implications for Japanese manufacturing companies and government policies. Research design, data, and methodology - We selected four companies from the Japanese manufacturing industry. Being companies that were successful in increasing the domestic employment scenario while advancing in overseas markets. We utilized several secondary data sources including Japanese newspapers and report literature. Results - Previous studies have shown a negative relationship between Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) or offshoring and domestic employment. However, our results showed this relationship with respect to the Japanese manufacturing industry as follows: 1. FDI for developing overseas markets does not decrease domestic production. If Japanese companies change their strategy from exports to overseas production, there will be a consequent decrease in domestic employment of Multinational Enterprises (MNEs). However, the local production that plans the sales expansion of a foreign market does not substitute domestic production. 2. Several case studies illustrate that, as the production of final goods is expanded in foreign countries, there is a corresponding increase in the export of intermediary goods from Japan. In this case, if the production process of Japanese companies is promoted in foreign markets, the amount of exported material and parts from Japan will consequently increase. 3. It is difficult to consider that the establishment of subsidiary companies in foreign countries by manufacturing companies for wholesale, retail, and services decreases domestic employment. This is because the international development of these industries needs expatriates, expatriate training organizations, and research and development (R&D) activities. 4. When there is overseas demand, the growth of local management activities is expected to increase the work of the overseas business department in the head office in Japan, if competitiveness can be secured for better localization and management speed. 5. The conversion of the domestic manufacturing industry into high value-added production is necessary. The relocation of domestic production to foreign markets decreases domestic employment. To prevent this, the upgradation of domestic production bases, including high value-added production, and R&D capability need to be strengthened. Technology-based companies must develop new technology, patents, processes, and so forth, which require extensive human resources for R&D. Conclusions - Domestic medium-sized companies that are capable of consistently supplying high value-added products should be actively encouraged to deploy into and develop overseas markets. Further, this paper considers the necessity of a guidance policy that provides suggestions for overseas deployment, by the initiation of the government, to companies that cannot do so due to the lack of foreign experience or decisions by the CEO, despite having the relevant capability and technologies to supply high value-added products.
This study performed comprehensive tests on the four hypotheses on the capital structures for the firms listed in the KOSPI during the period from 2006 to 2011. It may be of concern to find any financial profiles on firms' leverage across the book- and market-value bases since there was relatively little attention drawn to any financial changing profile of the leverage surrounding the period of the pre-and the post-global financial crises. The findings of this study may also be compared with those of the previous related literature, by which it may be expected to enhance the robustness and consistency of the results across the different classifications on capital markets. It was found that three explanatory variables such as PFT, SIZE, and RISK, were found to be the statistically significant attributes on leverage during the tested period. Moreover, the outcome by the Fisher Exact test showed that a firm belonging to each corresponding industry may possess its reversion tendency towards the industry mean and median leverage ratios.

Recently, the ministry of environment banned the use of the existing airless method using the spray in painting industrial facilities. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a pressure-roller attached to existing airless painting systems. The hole design of the SUS piping and drum-bases of pressure-rollers currently developed and sold have not been studied in detail, so their efficiency is questionable. In particular, if sufficient paint is not supplied to both ends of the roller, it is necessary to rework with a brush after painting. Therefore, the holes of the drum base need to be distributed so that the paint can flow to both ends of the roller. In this study, numerical analysis was performed to determine the effects of the hole design in the SUS piping and drum-base on the flow patterns of the paint and to suggest more efficient design measures. The analysis results showed that the uniform placement of the holes in the SUS piping is good for the balanced inflow of the paint. For the drum-base, the paint can flow better into both ends of the roller when the holes are concentrated and machined on both ends of the drum-base.
The objectives of this study were to examine growth performance and meat quality by three different feeding patterns in Korean native cattle (KNC). In each of 3 years, fifteen KNC were randomly assigned in a (3 feeding management)${\times}$(3 sex) factorial design experiment; thus, in total, there were 5 animals in each of the 9 treatments. The three feeding management treatments were longterm (24 month) restriction feeding (LTFR), long-term restriction feeding-hormone implant (LTFR-tH), and short-term (18 month) nonrestriction feeding (STFNR). Three sexes were bull, steer, and heifer. Concentrate diet was fed restriction-feeding method based on body weight in LTFR and LTFR-tH. However, the diet was fed ad libitum in STFNR. Hormonal implantation was made three times with M-$PO^{TM}$ for bulls and with F-$TO^{TM}$ for heifers at 18, 20, 22 month of age in LTFR-tH. Animal were purchased from the local cattle market and managed in two local farms and at the university research unit. Animals were slaughtered at 24 months for long-term trial and at 18 month for short-term trial. The growth rate was the highest in bulls and the lowest in heifers. However, the differences were diminished in F-$TO^{TM}$ implanted heifers. The average daily gain was high in STFNR due to ad libitum feeding. The carcass grade was similar among the treatments on percentage bases. Hormonal implants improved significantly the meat quality grade in all sexes. Castration increased body fat content and improved meat quality grade by intramuscular fat deposition. In conclusion, long-term feeding and hormone treatment increased meat quality grade more than short-term feeding. However, ADG was higher in the short-term trial although feedefficiency was lower.
This study was conducted to evaluate the tensile bond strength of three commercially available glass ionomer cements as orthodontic bracket adhesives. 120 premolars extracted for orthodontic treatment were prepared for bonding and standard edgewise brackets were bonded with Shofu Glaslonomer Cement (Shofu Co., U.S.A.), GC Fuji ItGC Co., Japan), KETAC-CEM(ESPE Co., West Germany) with different P/L ratio. The tensile bond strength was tested by Instron testing device after 24hours and 3months from bonding. After debracketing, bracket bases were examined to determine the failure sites. The results of this study were as follows: 1. KETAC CEM showed the highest bond strength other than measurement after 24 hours and at its original P/L ratio, and seemed to have clinically a proper bond strength. It seemed, however, that both Shofu Giaslonomer Cement and GC Fuji I had an inappropriate bond strength. 2. The incorporation of additional powder into the mixture improved the tensile bond strength. 3. Prolonged storage time improved the tensile bond strength. 4. Of the failure, failure occured at the tooth-adhesive interface(54.2%) was the most common type. The second type of failure(36.7%) was combination type, where part of the adhesive remained on the tooth and part on the bracket. And the last type of failure(9.1%) occured at the adhesive-bracket interface.
Objective: This study was performed to investigate the labio/buccal clinical crown curvatures of Korean permanent teeth and to obtain the curve-ratio data in an attempt to fabricate bracket bases fit for each individual Korean permanent tooth. Methods: Three-dimensional digital models were made from 30 sets of dental casts with normal anatomic structures. According to the FA points, horizontal and vertical reference planes were established and lines were drawn on the tooth surfaces in reference to these planes. The curvature was expressed as the coefficient of a quadratic equation. Lines mesial, distal, gingival and occlusal to the horizontal, vertical reference planes and the FA point were drawn. Results: The curvature measured for each line revealed that there are no significant differences between male and female, except for maxillary canines and maxillary second bicuspids (p > 0.05). There were notable differences in the mesio-distal or gingivo-occlusal curvatures among the mandibular lateral incisors, maxillary canines, maxillary and mandibular first and second bicuspids and first molars (p < 0.05). Conclusions: The labial & buccal crown curvatures of teeth in Korean normal occlusion were measured on the mesial and distal, gingival and occlusal sides respectively in this study. Based on these data, a SWA can be developed to fit the individual features of Korean tooth crowns.
