  • The resolution of analog sensor is determined by its sensitivity and amplitude of noise. This paper presents modeling of inductive gap sensor base on equivalent magnetic circuit and analysis of sensitivity. The model of inductive gap sensor is verified by the experimental results. Then we can simulate static characteristic of inductive gap sensor using this model. Computer simulation show that sensor's sensitivity and linearity are affected by magnetic flux's leakage and fringing, and that they are affected by shape of sensor probe.

  • This paper proposes a common-mode voltage reduction method base on SVPWM(Space-Vector Pulsewidth Modulation) in three phase PWM converter/inverter system. By shifting the active voltage vector of inverter and aligning this to the active vector of converter, it is possible to eliminate a common-mode voltage pulse in one control period. Since the proposed PWM method maintains the active voltage vector, it does not affect the control performance of PWM converter/inverter system. Without any extra hardware, overall common mode voltage dv/dt and conrresponding leakage current can be reduced to two-third of the conventional three phase symmetric SVPWM scheme.

  • The stability of paraseodymium-based zinc oxide varistor consisting of Zn-Pr-Co-Cr-Y oxide was investigated according to yttria additives under different stress conditons, such as 0.8V\ulcorner\ulcorner/373K/12h and 0.85V\ulcorner\ulcorner/393K/12h. Wholly, all varistor after the stress showed nearly symmetric and stable I-V characteristics. Particularly, in the case of 2.0mol% and 4.0mol% yttria-added varistor showing a good I-V characteristics, the varation rate of varistor voltage were less 1% and that of nonlinear coefficient were about degree of 5%, and what is remarkable, leakage current with increasing stress time during the applied stress was almost constant. It the light of these facts, it is estimated that varistor constituents having 2.0mol% and 4.0mol% yittria, respectively, will be utilized to various application fields.

  • As the information age develops, Online education and Non-face-to-face work are becoming common. Telecommuting such as tele-education and video conferencing through the application of information technology is also becoming common due to the COVID-19. Unexpected information leakage can occur online when the company conducts work remotely or holds meetings. A system to authenticate users is needed to reduce information leakage. In this study, there are various ways to authenticate remote access users. By applying burn authentication using a biometric system, a method to identify users is proposed. The method used in the study was studied the main component analysis method, which recognizes several characteristics in facial recognition and processes interrelationships. It proposed a method that can be easily utilized without additional devices by utilizing a camera connected to a computer by authenticating the user using the shape and characteristics of the face by using the PCA method.

  • This study focused on the measurement of the actual charging state of ambient aerosol particles, which is important for understanding the intricate process of adverse health effects caused by particulate matter (PM). The net electrostatic charging state of $PM_{2.5}$ collected on filter media was measured in this study. The Faraday cage method and surface potential measurements were used in this study. The results showed that the polarities of the net charging state measured using these two methods were in agreement for 42 out of 48 samples (87.5%), and 36 samples (75%) were negatively charged. The filters were not significantly charged by friction between the filters and air not containing PM. Charge addition to or leakage from the filters was not observed over a two-month storage period. Net charging state of $PM_{2.5}$ collected on the filters was concluded to be negative in most cases, based on data's support of the assumption that aerosol charging state is not altered by the process of PM collection using filter.

  • An investigation was carried out to compare the pulp responses against a few type of composite and streptococcus mutans contamination under the zinc oxide eugenol cement, and also confirmed pulpal responses of various composites with or without base. Seventy eight teeth from 6 dogs were employed and divided into 6 groups. Class V cavities were prepared on each tooth routinely with low speed dental engine. Paper disc about 0.3mm thick was immersed in the BHI broth in which streptococcus mutans had been enriched and the disc was inserted on the cavity floor prior to filling. Scotch bond puls Silux as Bis-GMA system composite resin and Helimolar as urethane system composite resin were adopted. Control group: Zinc-Oxide Eugenol cement filling Experimental groups: Group 1. Scotch bond + Silux filling with Dycal base Group 2. Heliomolar filling with Dycal base Group 3. Scotch bond + Silux filling without base Group 4. Heliomolar filling without base Group 5. Streptococcus mutans application. All cavities were sealed with thick ZOE cement to avoid marginal leakage. Postoperative intervals of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 weeks teeth were carefully extracted, processed and stained with Hematoxylin and Eosin. The results were as follows: 1. S. mutans application group and composites without any base showed more severe pupal response than control group and dyca based groups. 2. The experimental group of S. mutans application showed severe response in the early stage compared to the two groups of composite resin without base, but no significant difference was found following periods. 3. The difference of pulpal response is not significant between Bis-GMA system and urethane system. 4. Streptococcus mutans application group and composites without base groups showed the evidence of histologic recovery at the six week cases and the large amount of reparative dentin was the prominent feature. 5. Pulp responses against every material were inclined to normal according to the time elapsed.

  • Bases have been used in order to prevent the leakage of bleachingagents through dentinal tubules in bleached teeth. But the proximal surfaces where the actual resorption takes place havenot been protected. The purpose of this study was to compare the conventional basing method with the basing of the labial and two proximal surfaces to the cementoenamel junction. The bases were placed after conventional root canal treatment. Group I: 2mm thickness bases were placed to the level of labial cementoenamel junction line. Group II : 2mm thickness bases were placed to the level of all c-e J lines including cervical area. Control : No bases were placed. After placement of sodium perborate and 30% hydrogen peroxide mixtureinto the teeth, the changes of pH were measured. The results were as follows. 1. Group II showed smaller leakage of bleaching agents and was statistically significant difference compared to Group I.(p<0.05) 2. Group I showed no statistically significant difference compared to the control group. (p>0.05) 3. There were no significant among the upper and lower teeth groups in each group and between the groups.(p>0.05). According to the above results, it was considered that basing of the labial and proximal surfaces to the cementoenamel junction can reduce the leakage of bleaching agents during bleaching procedure of pulplessteeth.

  • The adhesive-tape of a liquid leak film sensor including the alarm system is developed. The sensing film is composed of three layers such as base film layer, conductive line layer, and protection film layer. The thickness of film is 300~500 um, the width is 3.55 cm, and the unit length is 200 m. On the conductive line layer, three conducting lines and one resistive line are formulated by the electronic printing method with a conducting ink of silver-nano size. When a liquid leaks for the electricity to be conducted between the conductive line and the resistive line, the position of leakage is monitored by measuring the voltage varied according to the change of resistance between two lines. The error range of sensing position of 200 m film sensor is ${\pm}1m$.

  • In this article, we proposed to predict natural gas (NG) leakage levels through feature selection based on a factor analysis (FA) of the integrating the Korean Meteorological Agency data and natural gas leakage data for considering complex factors. The paper has been divided into three modules. First, we filled missing data based on the linear interpolation method on the integrated data set, and selected essential features using FA with OrdinalEncoder (OE)-based normalization. The dataset is labeled by K-means clustering. The final module uses four algorithms, K-nearest neighbors (KNN), decision tree (DT), random forest (RF), Naive Bayes (NB), to predict gas leakage levels. The proposed method is evaluated by the accuracy, area under the ROC curve (AUC), and mean standard error (MSE). The test results indicate that the OrdinalEncoder-Factor analysis (OE-F)-based classification method has improved successfully. Moreover, OE-F-based KNN (OE-F-KNN) showed the best performance by giving 95.20% accuracy, an AUC of 96.13%, and an MSE of 0.031.
