  • Meaningful logos or random sequences have been used in the current digital watermarking techniques of 2D bar code. The meaningful logos can not only be created by copyright holders based on their unique information, but are also very effective when representing their copyrights. The random sequences enhance the security of the watermark for verifying one's copyrights against intentional or unintentional attacks. In this paper, we propose a new watermarking technique taking advantage of Data Matrix as well as encryption keys. The Data Matrix not only recovers the original data by an error checking and correction algorithm, even when its high-density data storage and barcode are damaged, but also encrypts the copyright verification information by randomization of the barcode, including ownership keys. Furthermore, the encryption keys and the patterns are used to localize the watermark, and make the watermark robust against attacks, respectively. Through the comparison experiments of the copyright information extracted from the watermark, we can verify that the proposed method has good quality and is robust to various attacks, such as JPEG compression, filtering and resizing.

  • Two-dimensional QR Code has improved greatly the limits on the capacity, size, direction of the one-dimensional bar code. And it has the capacity of compressing and storing the massive amount of data and is widely used in many applications. Recently, the two-dimensional QR Code has been spread rapidly because of introducing the smart phones and increasing the amount of using them. However, there is little documentations about decoding the QR Code in which can store the large amount of information. In this paper, therefore, we present specific processing procedures and algorithms on decoding the two-dimensional QR Code and then make us understand their decoding process by explaining some examples.

  • This review provides a comprehensive summary of the PCR primers and profiles currently in use in our laboratory for red algal DNA barcoding and phylogenetic research. While work focuses on florideophyte taxa, many of the markers have been applied successfully to the Bangiales, as well as other lineages previously assigned to the Bangiophyceae sensu lato. All of the primers currently in use with their respective amplification profiles and strategies are provided, which can include full fragment, overlapping fragments and what might best be called "informed overlapping fragments", i.e., a fragment for a marker is amplified and sequenced for a taxon and those sequence data are then used to identify the best primers to amplify the remaining fragment(s) for that marker. We extend this strategy for the more variable markers with sequence from the external PCR primers used to "inform" the selection of internal sequencing primers. This summary will hopefully serve as a useful resource to systematists in the red algal community.

  • Comparison of prices and specifications is a very important informations for the decision of buying selected goods. It is hard to get informations of comparison of prices and specifications at the spot on off-line shopping. In this paper, we propose a system that provides optimized information of goods by PDA mobile phones and other mobile devices. The proposed system consists of a server that include a search robot and clients that can read barcode. When a client send the barcode information scanned by a camera attached his/her mobile device, the server sends the information of the goods to the client.

  • Barcode system has been used for many years in labors controlling & ready mixed concrete supplement in A/E/C industry However, it was not quite successful because ot its limitations in the field. The use of RFID system is getting important in the real world. RFID system substituted for barcode system in labor controling & ready mixed concrete supplement and it showed its potentialities in other major materials supply logistics and its possibilities In progress management of 4D system. This research shows RFID system's case study and its future directions in A/E/C industry.

  • Recently industrial launderers face challenges in order to remain efficient and competitive. This paper describes the wireless laundry assorting system to prevent the economic loss caused by sorting the laundries incorrectly. Proposed system consists of wireless modules, barcode reader, and PC with base module. The wireless modules communicate with base module, and display the customer's information and amount of total and/or current sorting laundries. Proposed system works with leading services to further improve the efficiency of laundry processes.

  • QR codes, a kind of 2-dimensional barcode, is used to encode information such as simple URLs or namecards. QR codes can store much more information than a just barcode can do. Now QR code is very popular service in our ordinary life. These days many companies has used QR codes in the way of home-page link, especially a production explanation, the material instruction of model houses, the services in a library and on-line events, etc. This paper is going to make a study about how to establish a production process management on the basis of QR codes, addedly, about strong points of QR codes and the examples of using it.

  • The usability of QRcode as a replacement of the Barcode has been increasing. As the QRcode can be saved much information than Barcode, the QRcode has various application areas. In these days we can see the quadrangular box in everywhere. In this paper we introduce an example of application areas of the QRcode, which the system save the mileage information on the Android smartphone. Our proposed system help the small markets or traditional markets which don't have enough fund to construct mileage system.
