  • An Effect of Website quality on Service Value and Customer Satisfaction in the Internet Banking Internet Banking is very popular in Korea these days. More than 25million are using Internet Banking. This study is to find Quality Factors for Internet Banking Services and relationship among Internet Banking Service Value, Customer Satisfaction and Reuse. In this study we found that Service Value is prior to Customer Satisfaction. And also, Service Value and Customer Satisfaction affect customers reuse respectively. This study also found that 7 factors compose Internet Banking Service Quality. They are Convenience Security, Informal ion Providing, Communication, Design, System Correcteness. Convenience, Informal ion Providing, Communication and Design affect Internet Banking Service Value. System, Correcteness and Convenience affect Customer Satisfaction. So we learened that Internet Banking Customers discriminate Service Value from Satisfaction.

  • 현재 국내은행 및 외국계은행 이용자는 인터넷뱅킹을 통해 편리하게 조회, 자금이체, 대출신청과 같은 서비스를 이용하고 있고, 이 같은 인터넷뱅킹 이용추세는 증가하고 있다. 본 논문은 인터넷뱅킹 이용과정에 사용자가 중요하다고 생각하는 요인을 결정하고, 각 요인의 상대적 중요도를 파악하고자 한다. 이를 위해 전국적으로 18세 이상 성인을 대상으로 직접 조사하였다. 연구결과 사용 용이성과 유용성, 보안, 흥미, 신뢰성의 네 개의 요인이 확인되었다. 이 결과는 인터넷뱅킹 연구자, 은행의 인터넷뱅킹 서비스를 담당하는 실무자와 정책결정자가 더 나은 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 지침을 제공할 것이다.

  • Mobile Banking Applications (MBAPs) is one of the recent fads in mobile trading applications (Apps). MBAPs permit users to execute exchanges of money and many more whenever it might suit them; however, the primary issue for mobile banking Apps is usability. Hardly any investigation analyzes usability issues dependent on user's age, gender, exchanging accomplices, or experience. The purpose of this study is to determine the degree of usability issues, and experience of mobile banking users. The survey employs a quantitative method and performs user experiment on 240 participants with six different tasks on the application's interface. The post experiment survey is done with concerning participants. On the other hand, banking experts and Information Technology (IT) expert's group is also involved after the experiment. Expert's opinions about existing mobile banking Apps and suggestions for improving usability of MBAPs are collected through physical means (like questionnaire and interview) and online means like Google form. After that comparison of the opinions of users and experts about MBAPs is performed. The experimentation measures the tasks usability of various mobile banking apps with respect to its effectiveness, efficiency, trustfulness, learnability, memorability and satisfaction. The usability testing was led at different Universities and the outcomes acquired show that there are privacy and trust issues with their mobile banking apps. There is also a gap between users and experts which should be minimized by applying customized usability models, modes concept like other application software and also by adding complete features of banking in MBAPs. It will benefit mobile banking apps users, developers and usability engineers by providing user-friendly which are up to the mark of user's requirements.

Improving the Cyber Security over Banking Sector by Detecting the Malicious Attacks Using the Wrapper Stepwise Resnet Classifier

  • With the advancement of information technology, criminals employ multiple cyberspaces to promote cybercrime. To combat cybercrime and cyber dangers, banks and financial institutions use artificial intelligence (AI). AI technologies assist the banking sector to develop and grow in many ways. Transparency and explanation of AI's ability are required to preserve trust. Deep learning protects client behavior and interest data. Deep learning techniques may anticipate cyber-attack behavior, allowing for secure banking transactions. This proposed approach is based on a user-centric design that safeguards people's private data over banking. Here, initially, the attack data can be generated over banking transactions. Routing is done for the configuration of the nodes. Then, the obtained data can be preprocessed for removing the errors. Followed by hierarchical network feature extraction can be used to identify the abnormal features related to the attack. Finally, the user data can be protected and the malicious attack in the transmission route can be identified by using the Wrapper stepwise ResNet classifier. The proposed work outperforms other techniques in terms of attack detection and accuracy, and the findings are depicted in the graphical format by employing the Python tool.

Evolution of PKI Internet Banking in Korea

  • Most banks in Korea have provided Internet banking services based on PKI(Public Key Infrastructure) certificates since the early 2000s when Internet banking began in Korea. To support PKI Internet banking, the Korean government backed the electronic signature law and supported the rapid spread of PKI-based Internet banking by regulating the application of PKI certificates to be compulsory in Internet banking until 2015. PKI Internet Banking in Korea has been developed as a pioneer in this field through many challenges and responses until its present success. Korea's PKI banking, which started with soft-token-based closed banking, has responded to various types of cyber attack attempts and promoted the transition to open banking by accepting various criticisms due to lack of compatibility with international standards. In order to improve the convenience and security of PKI Internet banking, various attempts have been made, such as biometric-integrated smartphone-based PKI authentication. In this paper, we primarily aim to share the experience and lessons of PKI banking by analyzing the evolution process of PKI Internet banking in Korea. It also has the purpose of presenting the challenges of Korea's PKI Internet banking and sharing its development vision.

  • 모바일뱅킹에서 사용자인증과 거래승인을 보호하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 스마트폰에 설치된 악성 프로그램은 사용자가 입력하는 비밀을 얻어내거나 거래내용을 조작하여 사용자에게 승인하도록 유도할 수도 있다. 이 논문에서는 사용자의 비밀과 거래승인을 보호하기 위한 연구들의 보안성과 편의성을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 사용자의 비밀을 보호하고 문서의 내용을 조작하는 공격에 대응하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • In mobile Internet banking service through wireless local area network, security is a most important factor to consider. We describe the development of mobile banking service using Personal Digatal Assistant (PDA). In order to increase the strength of encryption, we adopted hybrid approach where both of the public key algorithm and the secret key algorithm are used during the transaction among PDA, banking server and authentication server.

  • 금융권은 디지털 전환 흐름에 맞춰 새로운 기술로 금융서비스를 제공하고 있다. 그 중 전세계 금융업계의 관심을 주목받고 있는 오픈뱅킹(Open Banking)은 고객 편의성과 데이터 활용에 극대화된 서비스 환경이다. 빠른 디지털 패러다임의 전환은 데이터 공유로 인한 정보유출, 해킹 등 보안 문제 역시 우려된다는 불안감도 증가시켰다. 이러한 부정적인 시각을 극복하지 못한다면 금융서비스 발전을 저해하는 요인이 될 것이다. 본 연구에서는 디지털 금융 생태계에서 데이터를 안전하고 포괄적 관리할 수 있는 보안 거버넌스 체계를 제시한다. 이는 오픈뱅킹 서비스 환경에 초점을 맞춰 현업 종사자들에게 디지털 금융보안 아키텍처를 제시함으로써 기술적 적용 방안을 마련한다. 금융 IT가 변화하는 환경에서 오픈뱅킹 서비스를 도입하고 활용할 수 있는 종합적 정보보호 체계를 제시함으로써 본 연구의 가치가 있다고 볼 수 있다.

개인정보 침해위험이 이용의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 - 국내은행의 스마트뱅킹 서비스 중심으로 (Empirical Validation of Personal Information Violation Risks with Use Intention : Focusing on Domestic Smart Banking Services)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is how personal information protection risks affect the intention to use domestic smart banking services. VAM(Value based Adoption Model) model is validated as a theoretical background, selecting ease of use, usefulness and perceived security as a benefit factor, and considers perceived cost, technical complexity, and risk of personal information leakage as a sacrifice factor. Methods: The method of this study used questionnaire survey to collect 365 data on suer's perception on smart banking services, and also performed a structural equation modeling method using by AMOS 23. Results: The result of this paper shows that all hypothesis are accepted statistically significant except 1 hypothesis. Conclusion: This research is concluded that perceived value is affected on statistically positive impact on ease of use, usefulness and perceived security, and negative impact on perceived cost and risk of personal information violation, not statistically technical complexity.

  • Recently, internet as well as internet banking are growing rapidly. Most banks in Korea provide internet banking services for customers. Internet banking became a major trend in the financial marketplace. There are a few empirical research in this area. Although quality of internet banking service is an important concept, there is a lack of theory-based empirical research in this area. Therefore, this paper is aimed at finding whether service quality of internet banking influence customer satisfaction, and whether characteristic of internet banking user influence relationship between customer satisfaction and service quality of internet banking. Furthermore, this paper identify whether customer satisfaction influence customer loyalty. The research model proposed thirteen hypothesis and tested empirically. A total of 269 responses were received from internet banking users and analyzed. The analyses showed partial support for the affirmative effect of customer satisfaction and characteristic of internet banking user. But the relationship between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty is significant. Implications of these findings are that internet banking sites should concentrate on providing a high quality of banking services; information, trust, ease of use, and security of system and thereby strengthen customer loyalty.
