가임기 여성의 유방촬영에서 Dose mode 적용의 유용성 분석 (The Usefulness Analysis of Applying Dose Mode in Mammography Women of Childbearing Age)

  • Purpose : Automatic exposure system(AOP mode) in DR Mammography of the STD and DOSE apply to women of childbearing age, the average glandular dose(AGD) and image quality by comparing was to demonstrate the usefulness of DOSE. Materials and Methods : Of the under 40 age 108 patients who visit to our hospital and examined STD and DOSE mammography from January 2008 to July 2013. AGD was obtained by DICOM header information provided by GE Senographe DS. STD and DOSE images were evaluated with obtained patients, Image J program was compared by calculating the SNR. Results : The average AGD of DOSE mode was 0.99mGy, and which decreased by 19% comparing to that of STD mode which was 1.18mGy. The two the average AGDs indicated statistically significant difference(p< .01). The average SNR of STD was 40.26, DOSE displayed, and to 39.68 in, there was no statistical significance. Results : The average AGD using DOSE mode which is one of DR mammography AOP modes decreased by comparing to that of STD mode showing no difference in image quality. The use of DOSE is considered to be useful.

오존 대기 환경기준의 비교 연구 (A Comparative study on Ambient Air Quality Standard for Ozone)

  • Based on air quality monitoring data('89~'97) operated by the Department of Environment, we provide various fundamental statistics for ground ozone. The purpose of this paper are to review the national ambient ozone standard, to study spatial distribution of ozone. Since we, in Korea, calculate average ozone level, to examine the occurrences of ozone level 3 times a day (1~8, 9~16, 17~24 hours), the method does not seem to be scientifically sound comparing to a running average method adapted by the USEPA. When we counted the number of cases with 8-h average O3 level exceeding 60ppb(8-h average standard in Korea)and 80 ppb (that in the U.S.A) and also when we calculated 8-hour average ozone level based on th US method, some regions were classified as non-attainment areas. Especially in Seoul, results of spatial distribution analysis showed that high level ozone over 80 ppb was observed at Kuui-Dong and Pangi-Dong in the eastern part and at Ssangmun-Dong in the northeastern part. Also, occurrences of ozone episode defined as number of days then ozone level exceeding 80 ppb for 3 consecutive hours were extensively reviewed in this paper.

조정지댐에 유입하는 도시하천 오염특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Pollution Property of Urban River Inflow in Regulating Reservoir)

  • This study focuses on analyzing the inflow characteristic of contaminants of city water that flows into a main water system like a reservoir, and intends to provide basic data which can be efficiently reflected on water quality management policy and decision making of a reservoir. The conclusion obtained from the analysis of the inflow of a main water system by analyzing the inflow property of city water contaminants is as follows. In the case of Chungju-cheon stream which is the city water, pollution load from the basic outflow is low when it rains, and with high load of basic outflow during the dry season, due to the discharge of pollutants from the city, the quality of water becomes worse. In the case of Chungju-cheon stream, average BOD is $4.53mg/{\ell}$ when it rains, and the contaminants increase and flow in about 7.8% compared to the average BOD during the average droughty season. The average SS concentration in water is $798.67mg/{\ell}$ and increased 97.2% compared to the average droughty season.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the usefulness of a software-based quality assurance system based on Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy treatment plan. Evaluate treatment plan through the D VH analysis, PTV mean dose ($D_{mean}$) and PTV 95% dose($D_{95}$) compare the MFX based on original treatment plan, Average error rate was $0.9{\pm}0.6%$, $1.0{\pm}0.8%$, respectively. Measuring point dose using phantom and ion chamber, the average error rate between the ionization chamber and MFX was $0.9{\pm}0.7%$, $1.1{\pm}0.7%$ (high dose region), $1.1{\pm}0.9%$, $1.2{\pm}0.7%$ (low dose region). The average gamma though of MFX and $Delta^{4PT}$ is $98.7{\pm}1.2%$, $98.4{\pm}.3%$, respectively. Through this study, A software based QA system that simplifies hardware based QA procedures that involve a lot of time and effort. It can be used as a simple and useful tool in clinical practice.

갑천 상류부의 수질오염 우려구간 수질특성 및 수질관리방안 (Characteristics and Management Plan of Water Quality at the Water Pollution Deterioration Area of the Upper Stream of Gapcheon)

  • The average annual water quality at Yongchon Bridge, Bonggok 2 Bridge, and Gasuwon Bridge in upstream of Gapcheon in 2018 was Ib grade (good) in organic matters, including BOD and TOC compared to the local environmental standard in Daejeon. However, their monthly changes for TOC partially exceeded the standard during the busy farming season at Bonggok 2 Bridge and Gasuwon Bridge. Although the annual average TP was within the standard, the monthly change at Bonggok 2 Bridge partially exceeded the standard. For Dugyecheon, the annual average water quality in 2018 at Umyeon-dong Bridge and Wonjeong Bridge, which are downstream of the Gyeryong public sewage treatment plant, exceeded the local environmental standard in BOD. COD was exceeded, and TP was within the standard. It seemed that the causes of deteriorated water quality downstream of Dugyecheon were discharges of agricultural water from agricultural land and effluent from the Gyeryong public sewage treatment plant. Assuming the pollution load of 100% based at the Mulangil point of the mainstream of Gapcheon, the ratio of BOD load and TOC load were as high as 58% and 47%, respectively. At the basin of Bonggok 2 Bridge and Mulangil, the loads downstream of Dugyecheon including the Gyeryong public sewage treatment plant were as high as 43% for TN and 56% for TP, respectively, indicating that Dugyecheon had a major impact on the water quality at the mainstream of Gapcheon.

이온크로마토그래피를 활용한 무기산류 정도관리 방법 연구 (A Study on Quality Control of Inorganic Acids using Ion Chromatograph)

  • Objectives: The objectives of this study were to develop a quality control protocol of inorganic acids using ion chromatograph and to evaluate analytical proficiency of the legally designated agencies. Methods: This study prepared inorganic acid samples by injecting three anion certified solutions (chloride, nitrate, and sulfate) on the quartz filters. To investigate the storage stability and concentration consistency of the samples, 240 samples for each anion were tested at weeks 0, 2, 4, 8, 12, and 16 while storing at 4℃ and 25℃. To evaluate analytical proficiency, two separate testings were administrated for six skilled analysts and 46 analysts affiliated with legally designated agencies. Results: Average recoveries of the three ions after 16 weeks of storage were fairly high (over 95%). In addition, average recoveries (chloride = 97%, nitrate = 96%, and sulfate = 103%) after 16 weeks of storage at low temperate were relatively higher than those (94%, 93%, and 98%) at room temperature. The coefficients of variation (CV) for the three ions were less than 5% except for the sulfate sample at 5.56 ㎍ (CV = 12.4%). The average ratios of the concentration values analyzed by the legally designated agencies to the injected concentrations were close to 1. However, their CVs were relatively greater (chloride ≤ 49%, nitrate ≤ 14%, and sulfate ≤ 28%), which implies a need for quality control. Conclusions: The quality control protocol used in this study for the three inorganic acids can be utilized in the quality control for ion chromatography.

청소기 소음 측정을 위한 객관적 음질 특성 분석 (Analysis of Objective Sound Quality Features for Vacuum Cleaner Noise)

  • 생활수준의 향상으로 실내용 가전제품 개발의 초점은 제품의 성능 뿐 아니라 소음, 디자인과 같은 요소에 맞추어지고 있다. 청소기는 가전제품 중, 큰 소음을 발생시킴으로써 소음 감소를 위한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 따라서 청소기의 체감 소음 측정 방법에 대한 연구는 청소기 소음 제어에 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다. 본 논문에서는 청소기 체감 소음 측정을 위하여 청각 시스템을 기반으로 객관적 음질 특징을 제시한다. 인간의 청각 시스템은 특정 주파수 대역에 민감하게 반응하므로, 청각에 민감한 주파수 대역의 소음에너지를 줄이는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 녹음된 소음의 특정 주파수 영역의 평균 에너지를 계산하여 이를 청소기 음질 측정을 위한 새로운 객관적 특징 값으로 제시한다. 제시하는 객관적 특징 값의 성능을 평가하기 위하여, 14개 청소기의 소음을 녹음한 후, 100명을 대상으로 PCM 및 ACR 주관적 평가 법을 실시하여 주관적 점수를 획득하였다. 제시하는 객관적 특징 값은 주관적 점수와 높은 상관관계를 보여준다.

급속모래여과 공정에서의 여과보조제에 의한 수질개선효과 연구 (The Improvement of Water Quality by Using Filter-aids in Rapid Sand Filters)

  • The objective of this study it to evaluate the microbial safety in rapid sand filters adapted in most drinking water treatment plants. The potential pathogens to cause water quality problems Are presumed to be Giardia and Gryptosporidium. They look like particles in view of their size. It has been reported that if the number of particles (larger than 2 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ in water) is less than 100 per mL and its turbidity is below 0.1 NTU, it is considered as a safe water in terms of pathogens. In order to achieve such a good water quality. filter-aids (chemicals) were added to the inlet-channel of filter and their effectiveness was evaluated on the basis of water quality factors such as turbidity and particle counting. This study was conducted in she three steps of experiment: jar test. pilot plant test and real water treatment plant test (P plant in seoul). The experiment reult of the P water treatment showed that cationic polyamine was the most effective in the removal of particles and turbidity at the does of 0.25 mg/L. The turbidity without filer-aids showed in the range of 0.12 ~0.17 NTU during filtration and 0.14 NTU on the average. However. with addition of polyamine, the turbidity represented below(or less than) 0.1 NTU after 20 min in the start of filtration and kept 0.08 NTU on the average. On the other hand, as for number of particles, while no filter-aids led to the range of 111 ~270 per mL and 190 on the average, addition of polydmine led to 113 per mL on talc average, and kept below100 per mL after 20 min in the start of filtration.

  • 유방암의 조기 진단에는 X선을 이용한 유방 촬영이 현재 가장 많이 이용되고 있다. X선 장치의 사용 빈도가 증가함에 따라 유방 X선 촬영에서 기인하는 방사선의 위해해 대한 관심이 고조되고 있는 추세이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 고 대조도 및 고해상력을 요구하는 X선 유방촬영에서 유선의 피폭선량을 측정하기 위하여 International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)에서 규정한 검사 기준에 대해 IEC 62220-1-2에서 제시하는 국제 권고안의 beam quality 기준을 바탕으로 평균 유선 선량을 평가하는 가이드라인을 제시 하고자 하였다. 그 결과 4.5 cm PMMA 팬톰의 평균 유선선량 값은 30 kV 범위 이내에서 최대 2.3 mGy였으며, 28 kV를 기준으로 1.19 mGy로 평가되었다.

수도시설 운영정보화 시스템 구축 및 효율개선효과 (Constructing the Operating Information System(OIS) and Improving the Water Quality by OIS in Water Treatment Plants)

  • 본 연구에서는, 안산정수장에 구축된 수도시설 운영정보화 시스템에 의한 처리수질개선 등 정수장 효율개선효과를 평가하였다. 분석기간 동안의 안산정수장 생활용수 유입유량은 운영정보화 시스템이 구축되기 전인 2004년도보다 구축 후인 2005년도가 약 15.6% 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 원수의 평균탁도는 2005년 12.37 NTU, 2004년 12.06 NTU로 비슷한 값을 나타내었으나, 연평균 응집제의 주입농도는 2005년도가 12.06 mg/L으로 2004년(10.31 mg/L)보다 다소 높은 것으로 나타났고, 정수탁도는 약간 개선된 처리효율을 나타내었다. 원수의 $COD_{Mn}$ 및 BOD 등의 분석결과, 2004년보다 2005년의 원수수질이 개선된 것으로 판단할 수 있었다. 정수의 $KMnO_4$ 소비량은 2004년(2.95 mg/L)보다 2005년은 1.25 mg/L로써 그 양이 줄어들었고, THMs의 농도도 2004년(0.038 mg/L)보다 2005년 0.025 mg/L로써 다소 개선되었다. 본 연구결과, 약품주입 등 정수장 운영은 운영 정보화 시스템의 구축에 의해 보다 최적의 상태를 도모할 수 있으며, 이에 따라 수질개선효과도 있음을 판단할 수 있었다.
